Title: Creation Engine Question Author: Iesals Pastebin link: http://pastebin.com/vSti5B2Y First Edit: Saturday 25th of May 2013 03:10:56 PM CDT Last Edit: Saturday 25th of May 2013 03:10:56 PM CDT [22:36:48] Oh boy, so here's a newbie question (mostly because I live under a rock). How much of Gamebryo's engine was used as a base for Skyrim's Creation Engine? [22:36:59] <%Silencer> movie, not hospital? [22:37:39] Nocte [NocteCanticum@ChatSpikegt22t3.wa.comcast.net] has quit IRC: Quit: I apologise, but the connection from my mobile is spotty at best. [22:37:40] Kursty: suck the blood so it gets back to circulation [22:37:53] <%Jeancey> apparently none of it Hybrid [22:38:07] <%Jeancey> Oblivion and Morrowind were, but skyrim is a new engine [22:38:09] While you are at the hospital ask them if they think Frost Giants are a race or not. [22:38:13] Hrm [22:38:16] Hybrid: a lot of it because bethesda is lazy [22:38:18] I thought they worked from it [22:38:21] and modified it [22:38:55] If you ask the Mountain Giants, they will tell you Frost Giants are another race. [22:39:03] i have nothing against using old engines... games are not about graphic right? but they lied about how new and great it is... [22:39:46] I wonder how it would have went if IV would be the middle step towards a completely different engine with V being the polished and completed one. [22:39:49] <%Jeancey> hmm? what do you mean? [22:40:08] <%Jeancey> Sokoro, What do you mean? [22:40:49] With Skyrim, they focused too much on the fancy graphics and not enough on the content. [22:41:47] skyrim need more variety in dungeons... in color.. and more static meshes [22:41:56] Sure, it feels good to beat up a dragon with your bare hands, but after several years of playing, I'm still not done exploring every dungeon in Morrowind. [22:42:04] darco [webchat@ChatSpike1p1a91.uesp.net] has joined #uespwiki [22:42:12] I would have liked skyrim to have looked better on the rocks
