1. The Marvellous Mishaps of Anon and Chrysalis
2. Chapter 24: Wrapping Things Up
3.
4. >It was another winter afternoon in the magical land of Equestria.
5. >You are Anonymous, the nation’s only human.
6. >And you have McFucked up very, very hard.
7. >Everything had been going so wonderful for you. Chrysalis was nice to you, Derpy didn’t break anything, and Ditto...
8. >Well, Ditto never really did anything, as far as you could tell.
9. >Either way, you were feeling so good, that when Chrysalis asked to, once again, have sex with you, you had actually said yes.
10. >Of course, that didn’t turn out as well as you thought.
11. >”Unbelievable, Anonymous! Unbelievable!” the changeling bellowed as she descended the stairs after you.
12. “Damnit, Chrysalis, don’t bash a man for having an opinion. You’re the one who asked, anyway.”
13. >”Asked? I never asked for you to go and cheat on me! How could you, Anon? After everything I’ve given you?”
14. “You said it was fine! You’re not even upset that Rainbow and I did it, you’re just-“
15. >”Shut up!” The mare throws her head up, completely furious. She violently pushes past you, entering the living room.
16. >Following after her, you quickly saw the worried Derpy, her fearful daughter, and the commander, who looked to be on maximum alert.
17. “Chrysalis, we need to talk about this, or nothing will get better. Come on.”
18.
19. >She ignores you, angrily planting herself down in her seat on the couch. From there she took aim, her eyes like daggers staring at you.
20. >Luckily, the fucks you rarely gave took the form of power armour, shielding you from any wounds the piercing gaze might deliver.
21. >”Anonymous, go away. Since you clearly like Rainbow so much, why don’t you just go fuck her?”
22. “Chrysalis, you asked me how it was, and I told you! Stop whining and move on!”
23. >”Move on? You said Rainbow Dash is better at everything sexual! Even head! How can she even-“
24. >A new voice interjects. “Both of you be quiet! Dinky is listening to everything you say!”
25. >The changeling turns her gaze to the mailmare in question. “Oh shut up. You act like this is new to her. We argue all the time.”
26. “No kidding. We’re not even married. What’s up with that?”
27. >She grunts. “I don’t know. Perhaps our personalities clash too much. Maybe you /should/ be with Rainbow.”
28. “Back to Rainbow, huh? Well at least you’re consistent...”
29. >She grins. “Aha! I knew it! She’s inconsistent in bed!”
30. >Derpy’s glare fiercens. Chrysalis either doesn’t notice, or doesn’t care.
31. “Chrys, why don’t we drop it, and move on to something else?” You would have added ‘Something that will not upset Derpy more,’ but she cuts in.
32.
33. >”Oh, good idea. I’ll have to look up a spell to make that rod of yours not so insignificant. Honestly, your only perk is those magic hands you possess. They’re simply wonderful...” She gazes off longingly.
34. >”One more thing out of either of you...”
35. >”And what? You’re going to scold me? Write a nasty letter, maybe? I’m not afraid of you, Derpy. You’re just mad because Anon won’t have sex with you!”
36. >She glares at her, temper boiling. You glance to Ditto. He could probably use a glass of whatever right about now, if anger is as spicy as you’ve been told.
37. >You give her a disappointed look. The queen gives you an innocent look. “What? I thought you liked smaller mares.”
38. “Chrysalis, cut it out...”
39. >”But why? Didn’t you say how much tighter they are? How your miniscule member actually fits nicely?”
40. >Derpy has had enough. “Chrysalis! Out! Now!”
41. >She laughs bitterly. “You’re telling me to get out? Hahaha! That’s hilarious.”
42. >The mailmare in question narrows her eyes, her daughter hopping off her lap.
43. >In a flash, Derpy is up in Chrysalis face, their snouts pushing against each other.
44. >The muffin lover points to the doorway. “Out!”
45. >They stare at each other for a few minutes, neither relenting.
46. >Despite fighting hard, Chrysalis couldn’t keep up, and eventually caved in to her opponents will, backing away slightly, before rising from her seat and storming out.
47.
48. >You were quite surprised. This side of Derpy was pretty new to you.
49. >She turns to you, still glaring. “You too, Anon.”
50. “What? Me? Why?”
51. >She flaps over to you, but you’re not about to go through that same treatment, and quickly vacate the premises.
52. >Chrysalis is outside your lovely home, sitting on what would be your lawn if it wasn’t covered in snow.
53. >She doesn’t seem... quite so angry. More sad, really. You approach her.
54. “Uh... Chrysalis?”
55. >She doesn’t look at you. ”Yes?”
56. >You sit down beside her.

”Look, about... Rainbow. I’m sorry about what I said. That wasn’t really fair to you.”
57. >”No, not really, Anon.”
58. You place a hand on her back. She looks to you.
59. >”For the record, Anon, while you might not enjoy our nights together that much, I do.”
60. “Didn’t you say they were strange?”
61. >She sighs. “You’re awful, you know that? Yes, it was strange, but that’s because it was new. It’s still special to me.”
62. “Special?”
63. >She groans, shaking her head. “It makes me wonder sometimes why I even bother with you. You’re an awful coltfriend.”
64. >She has a point, you realize. You’re not exactly... what’s the word? Ah yes. Compatible.
65.
66. >She leans over to you, nuzzling your neck. “Let’s... just move past this? I’m tired of arguing.”
67. “Sure... Uh, I guess I owe you?”
68. >She nods. “Yes. You do. Don’t worry, I’m not going to call on it quite yet.” She grins. “You’ll see. Now, come. We probably should apologize to Derpy.”
69. “Yeah, that’s a good idea. Come on.”
70. >You head back into your home, Chrysalis right behind you.
71. >Soon enough, you’re back in the living room. Derpy turns to you, still upset.
72. >Chrysalis pushes past you, clearing her throat. “Derpy? We’re both very sorry about... saying things like that around your daughter.”
73. “Yeah, that wasn’t cool. We’ll... keep it somewhere else next time. If there’s a next time.”
74. >Derpy’s expression softens somewhat, though she’s still clearly upset about all of it.
75. >And to be honest, you are too. You’ve never had such a fierce argument with Chrysalis before. Hopefully you won’t have any others in the near future.
76. >She turns back to the TV, the previous argument completely resolved. Huh. That was easy...
77. >Not wanting to start anything, you sit beside Chrysalis on the couch, letting Derpy keep your seat.
78. >You don’t sit about for long though, as Derpy starts up a new conversation.
79. >”So, as you know, tomorrow is Winter Wrap Up!”
80. >That’s tomorrow? You hadn’t even realized.
81. “Oh? Well that’s good to hear. This winter has been awful.”
82.
83. >She nods. “Yep! After tomorrow it’ll be all over. And you know what that means...”
84. >Chrysalis grunts. “Spring?”
85. >Dinky and Derpy both cheer. Ah... Spring. Where all the flowers bloom, bugs buzz, and mares go into heat. At least it wouldn’t be so cold...
86. “So, Chrys, I’m guessing changelings don’t have winter wrap up? Let me explain it, I guess.”
87. >She shakes her head. “No, it’s fine. I’m not that out of the loop.”
88. “Is that a fact? Good, then I don’t have to explain it.”
89. >Chrysalis blinks. “No, that’s fine, feel free.”
90. “Why? Don’t you already know about it?”
91. >She grits her teeth. “...Of course. Anyhow, I guess we’ll deal with it tomorrow, yes?”
92. >You nod, turning back to the show currently airing.
93. >Derpy speaks up once more. “Remember everyp0ny! We have to get up really early so we aren’t late. I’ll be waking all of you up if you take too long, okay?”
94. >Chrysalis laughs. “If you say so, Derpy.”
95.
96. >You awaken early the next day, quickly getting out of bed and stretching out a bit.
97. >Your clock alerts you that it’s 6am. You let out a yawn. Sure is early...
98. >You throw on a shirt, and pull some pants out of a dresser.
99. >That’s when your door opens up. You jump a bit, turning to the trespassing pony. It’s just Derpy, and so you quickly chill the fuck out.
100. >”Rise and shine, Anon! It’s Winter Wrap Up!”
101. “Yes, I know. Now excuse me, while I put on my pants.”
102. >You do exactly that, pulling up your pants one leg at a time, like any normal human would.
103. >Now properly dressed, you look back to Derpy, who’s holding a hoof over her eyes.
104. >You shake your head, laughing. Her politeness was refreshing, after having Chrysalis barge in every other day.
105. “All dressed, Derpy. I’ve got a few things to do, and then we’ll head right out? Why don’t you wake up the queen?”
106. >She nods. “Yeah, I’m pretty sure she’s still asleep. Oh, by the way.” Hm?
107. “What’s up?”
108. >”I uh... called on somep0ny to watch Dinky for the day. He’s in the living room. I’ll introduce you later, okay?”
109. >Somep0ny she knows is babysitting Dinky? You don’t like the sound of that.
110. “...Right. Anyhow...”
111.
112. >You slip past her, quickly heading into your bathroom to clean up.
113. >Having little else to really think about, you instead listen in on what’s happening right outside.
114. >You finish brushing just in time to hear Derpy open up the door. “Rise and shine, Chrysalis! It’s Wint-“
115. >A ear piercing screech startles you, causing you to jump. You land square on your ass. Ouch.
116. >And then there’s the sound of an explosion. You grip the sink’s counter, using it to prop yourself back onto your feet.
117. >Heading into the hallway, you can already hear a pair of hooves galloping up the staircase.
118. >You poke your head out. You honestly wish you hadn’t.
119. >Chrysalis’ lovely room, like most, was surrounded by four wooden walls, though not soundproofed ones like yours.
120. >Yeah, well, now there were three. While the fourth still stood mostly, it had a massive hole in it, with the edges singed and sizzling.
121. >Luckily, the far wall took only minor damage, with what appeared to be minor burns where what you could only assume to be Chrysalis’ magic had struck.
122. >Speaking of Chrysalis, looking into the room, you could see her on the bed, face beet red.
123. >And then there was Derpy, who, for the most part, was unharmed. She probably jumped out of the way of... whatever that magic bolt was.
124. >At the end of the hallway was Commander Ditto, a unicorn you didn’t know and Dinky on said unicorn’s back.
125.
126. “...What the hell happened here?”
127. >Derpy, from her seat a few steps inside Chrysalis room, blinked, not sure herself.
128. >Chrysalis forced a laugh. “Oh, uh... I thought we could... redecorate. The walls. With magic.”
129. >You step into the hallway, gripping your forehead. Why you?
130. “I think you overdid it just a tad. Great, now I’m going to have to get a carpenter...”
131. >Chrysalis shakes her head. “N-No! I’ll just have my miners fix it! Don’t worry.” She laughs nervously.
132. >You glare at her, shaking your head.

”Yes, except my house isn’t a cave wall. How exactly can they fix anything?”
133. >Ditto smiles nervously, “I’m certain they will find a way.”
134. >You groan. Well, at least everyone was awake now...
135. “So, Derpy, care to introduce your friend?”
136. >She blinks again, leaving Chrysalis’ room to spot her babysitter.
137. >”Oh! That’s Sindri! He’s the nice colt from before. Remember? When we got back from Vegas?”
138. >Sindri? Oh, him. You take a look at him. He’s... a weird fellow. Didn’t he have a helmet?
139. >No matter. You quickly say hello before heading back downstairs with your companions, regrouping in your living room.
140. >Chrysalis, who enters the room last, smiles nervously at you. “I suppose I have an excuse to stay in your room now, eh Anonymous?”
141. >You sigh, and turn to Ditto.

”How long will those build teams take?”
142.
143. >”Perhaps a few hours. I can’t really say.”
144. >You’re mildly disappointed by this answer. Looks like you’ll be cuddling with Chrysalis for a night or two.
145. “Anyway, Winter Wrap Up. I trust we all know what we’re doing?”
146. >Chrysalis shrugs. “I guess. What exactly are you doing?” You frown.
147. “Honestly, considering that incident last year, I’ll probably just be following Twilight around trying to look important.”
148. >She raises an eyebrow at this. “Incident?” Her expression changes to a grin. “Oh do tell then.”
149. >A knock at the door saves you from the unavoidable embarrassment that explaining would bring. You rise from your seat quickly.
150. “I’ll see who that is.”
151. >Chrysalis, however, rises with you, not about to let you escape so easily. If she can’t embarrass you by learning your secrets, she’ll do it by making an ass of you in front of someone else. Eugh...
152. >Of course, the others don’t want to miss out, so they all follow you to the doorway.
153. >Sighing, you open up, not quite sure who to expect.
154. >”Hi Anon! Hi Chrysalis, Ditto, Derpy.”
155. >You blink, looking down at the purple mare before you. Well that’s not something you see every day.
156. >Twilight Sparkle, loyal keeper of the too long and unread, has come to your home for whatever reason.
157. “Uh, hey Twilight. What’s up?”
158. >”Well...” She smiles, looking at Chrysalis. “A long time ago, during my first Winter Wrap Up here in Ponyville, I had a tonne of trouble fitting in. I wasn’t sure where I could help...”
159.
160. >Chrysalis nods. “Mhm, yes... Is there a point to his story?”
161. >You give the impatient mare a look that silences her. Twilight continues.
162. >”Well, you’re still pretty new to Ponyville, and this is your first Winter Wrap Up here, so I thought I’d come by and help you find a place to fit in.” It isn’t hard to notice how excited the mare is about this.
163. >Chrysalis, however, notably lacks the same enthusiasm. “Hrm. Right.”
164. >”Don’t worry Chrysalis, it’s not that bad. I’ll give you a quick rundown on our way to Town Hall, and you’ll be all set!”
165. >Derpy grins. “I’ll get my vest! Go on you three, I’ll catch up!” She trots off to obtain her lovely blue outfit.
166. >Chrysalis frowns. “Her... vest? What vest?”
167. >You point to Twilight, who is wearing a distinct three coloured vest. “Oh...”
168. >The changeling cringes. “I trust mine will not be so... gaudy? Honestly, that layout is terrible.”
169. >Twilight glares at her. “I for one like the design.”
170. >Chrysalis shrugs, stepping outside. “Not really surprising, considering your ‘tastes.’” She passes her. “Come, let’s go... wrap things up, I guess.”
171. >Twilight sighs, following her. You share a glance with Ditto.
172. “Today is going to be a long day, isn’t it?”
173. >”Perhaps it will be. Perhaps it will not. I am prepared for either outcome.”
174. >How certain of you, Ditto...
175.
176. >You soon found yourself walking down the snowy streets of Ponyville, trailing slightly behind Chrysalis and Twilight.
177. >And no, not just to get a nice view. Don’t be silly.
178. >Twilight spoke. “So, Winter Wrap Up has three dedicated teams. There’s the Animal Team, the Plant Team and the Weather Team.”
179. >”And which team are /you/ on?”
180. >The mare blinks. “Oh... Well, I suppose I’m on all of the teams, since I’m the chief organizer.” She smiles.
181. >”Mhm, right. You were saying?” Chrysalis’ expression betrayed her words. She really couldn’t care less about this.
182. >”Oh, right! Well, I’m sure you can probably guess what each team does. Each team now has two ponies leading it, and both of them report to me.”
183. >You glance to Ditto, who remains silent and stoic.
184. “Not going to comment on anything?”
185. >”No. The setup is sound.” Well, at least he approved.
186. >Twilight continues. “Well, the only thing you need to know is that here in Ponyville, Winter Wrap Up is done the traditional earth pony way. That means no magic.”
187. >Chrysalis blinks. “...And no wings then? How exactly are you going to get anything done without wings and magic?”
188. >Twilight frowns. “No, just magic. The Pegasi can still fly about to move clouds around.”
189. >”Then why can’t unicorns use their magic? Pegasi are not earth ponies; they shouldn’t get their wings either.”
190.
191. >Twilight sighs. “It’s how things are done here in Ponyville. Don’t worry, you’ll be fine.”
192. >Chrysalis shrugs. “Yes, I will be, as my magic is changeling magic, and thus not banned.”
193. >”What? No, it’s not allowed either.”
194. >”Ha! You said no unicorn magic; changeling magic is completely different. Have fun writing with your mouth, Twilight.”
195. “Chrysalis, no magic is no magic. Stop making things so hard.”
196. >She grins. “I wasn’t aware that turned you on... Good to know.” She winks at you, causing Twilight to blush. Fucking Chrysalis...
197. >It isn’t much further to the town center, where a plethora of ponies stood about, waiting on the mayor to start the event properly.
198. >You arrived just in time too, as within seconds of getting in position, out came the mayor, flanked by her various administrators whose names you didn’t care to remember.
199. >The mayor began her yearly Winter Wrap Up speech, hoping to rile up the crowd to do a great job.
200. >While in previous years they had apparently failed to get the job done in time, ever since Twilight got promoted to chief organizer, things had gone nice and smooth. Usually.
201. >You sit down beside your marefriend, glancing over to her. The queen sighs.
202. >”This mare hasn’t a damn clue how to give a speech, does she?”
203. “No, not really. But it could be worse.”
204. >”Oh? How could this ranting be any worse?”
205.
206. >You quietly point to the purple mare who brought you here.

”She could be giving the speech.”
207. >The queen’s eyes widen. “Oh. Yes. Let’s not do that.”
208. >You chuckle to yourself as Chrysalis turns back to the mayor, though you’re pretty sure she isn’t paying attention to what she is saying.
209. >You sure as hell aren’t.
210. >With a cheer from the crowd, the speech is finished, and the many ponies of Ponyville head out to their various positions.
211. >After the masses have left, you’re again approached by Twilight. You lazily wave at her.
212. “Hey Twilight, great speech am I right? Clearly one for the history books.”
213. >She rolls her eyes. “Don’t make fun of the mayor. Anyway, Chrysalis, now that everything is starting up, you’re going to need to choose a team to help with!”
214. >With her magic she pulls over three vests, each of a single color. They are obviously too small for the queen to wear.
215. >She makes this point quite known. “You realize I won’t fit in those, correct?”
216. >Twilight frowns. “Couldn’t you just transform into a smaller changeling queen to wear it?”
217. >”But Twilight, that’s magic, which is clearly not allowed!” She waves a leg around mockingly as she says this. Twilight rolls her eyes.
218. >”Just pick a team.”
219.
220. >After pondering for a few minutes, likely careful weighing each option, she picks the blue vest.
221. >Twilight smiles. “The weather team then. Good to see!” She points down a road. “Rainbow Dash is over that way with the rest of her team. Better catch up, or she’ll leave you behind.”
222. >Chrysalis bursts out laughing as she slowly trots away, tossing the vest into Ditto’s face. “Leave /me/ behind? That’s rich. Come Ditto, Anon. We have clouds to... break?” She stops, thinking.
223. >You catch up to her in a few steps.

”Come on, Chrysalis. You can ponder the true nature of little ponies later.”
224. >She gives you a confused look. You smile at her.
225.
226. >On your way to wherever the hell Rainbow Dash is supposed to be, you run into Pinkie Pie.
227. >She’s doing her usual weather team thing; skating. Yes, really.
228. >You explained the purpose of this to Chrysalis, telling her that by scoring the ice, it’d break into smaller chunks and melt faster.
229. >She, of course, didn’t buy it, and thus you ended up approaching her anyway.
230. >From the ice, she waves at you. “Hiya Anon! Hiya Chrys!” She does another pass. “And hiya to you too, Ditto!” The pair smile at each other.
231. >Chrysalis takes a few steps closer. Pinkie slides to a stop in the middle of the lake. “What are you guys all up to?”
232. “Looking for Rainbow Dash; Chrys here is in the weather team and wants to help out.”
233. >”I don’t really want to help, Anon. I’m beyond such physical labours.”
234. “She’s really good with muscle intensive stuff. Know anything she could help with?”
235. >Pinkie ‘hmm’s, doing a few more passes on the ice. Ditto watches her intently. He’s definitely digging this activity.
236. >”Well, I’m just scoring the lakes. Can Chrysie skate? I could use a hoof for sure!”
237. >Ditto steps forward. “We would be honoured to help you cut the ice! Where are the extra skates?”
238. >Chrysalis gawks at him. “Excuse me, I’m the queen, remember? Since when do you make choices for us?”
239. “He’s your commander. It’s his job to make decisions, is it not?”
240.
241. >”Yes, in battles, Anon. Not just... normal activities. Besides, neither of us know how to skate.”
242. >Chrysalis’ ranting distracts you enough that you don’t even see Pinkie slide over to you. “What!? You don’t know how to skate? That’s horrible!”
243. >Ditto nods quickly. “Yes! It is imperative that you teach us to skate, so I may instruct our forces in the activity!”
244. >Chrysalis groans. “Why not just use a fire spell to melt the ice and snow?”
245. “Because, Chrysalis, no magic is allowed.”
246. >Pinkie smiles at you, happy to see you’re enforcing the rules. “I’ll be right back!” She skates away.
247. >Chrysalis glares at her officer. You take a few steps back, preparing your ears for an auditory assault.
248. >”Well done, commander. You’ve just put your queen in the firing line.”
249. >”With all due respect, your majesty, it’s just skating. There is nothing to worry about.”
250. >You almost think of warning them that ‘skates will explode if you collide with things’ but decide against it. Chrysalis, who is usually not fazed by most things, seems genuinely worried about this whole ordeal.
251. >So, being the kind and supportive boyfriend you’re supposed to be, you tell her this:
252. “Chrysalis, don’t worry, you’ll be fine. Skating is easy. Plus, you’ll have Pinkie Pie to help you.”
253. >”I still don’t like this...”
254. “You’ll get used to it, trust me. I’ve gotten used to things I used to not like too.”
255. >You wink at her, causing her to grin. “Mmm, yes. Keep this up, Anon, and you might get a treat tonight.”
256.
257. >A treat? Eh... You aren’t sure you like the sound of that. It might be high in calories!
258. >Pinkie soon returns with four pairs of skates. She places them in the snow before the changelings.
259. >”Alright, now just throw these on and follow me. And remember...” Her face turns dark. “/No/ magic.”
260. >What followed was probably the funniest thing in equestrian history.
261. >Chrysalis was really, really bad at the whole ‘put the fucking skates on’ thing. Oh god, it was pathetic.
262. >Eventually you, using your almighty digits, had to assist her, getting her all set up.
263. >Ditto fared better, needing no assistance to get his skates on, save the back ones. Luckily, your mighty hands again aided him.
264. >Pinkie, who was slicing up the ice further afield, smiled.
265. “Alright, you’re all ready to go. Just get on the ice, and slide over to Pinkie. No worries.”
266. >Chrysalis’ ego returns at full force. “Of course not. Changelings are the best at everything. Come, Ditto, we have work to do.”
267. >She takes a step on the ice. She’s a bit wobbly, but manages, soon putting all four of her hooves on the slippery ground. “See? Nothing to it.”
268. >Ditto nods, following his queen’s example. They turn back to you.
269. “Don’t worry, I’ll be right here. Go on. Pinkie’s waiting.”
270. >Chrysalis nods, trying to inch herself onward. However, she left her keys at home. She’s probably wishing she took that hot wiring course right about now.
271.
272. >You sigh, taking a few steps to the mare. She was maybe two steps away from the ice. “Hm... This isn’t working, is it?”
273. >You take a few cautious steps onto the ice behind her. You place your omnipotent hands onto her flanks, causing her to yell out.
274. “Let me give you a hand with this?”
275. >You push her off, causing her to slide away. She’s yelling wildly the entire way, unable to stop.
276. >Ditto groans. “...Anon, why did you do that?”
277. “How else is she supposed to get moving?”
278. >He gives you a disappointed look. “I don’t know, her wings?”
279. >That somehow never occurred to you. You look back at the runaway queen, who was still sliding uncontrollably.
280. “You should probably go enlighten her. I’ll be here if you need me.”
281. >He rolls his eyes, flapping his wings slightly to get some propulsion. Soon enough he’s zooming after the queen.
282. >Sadly, Ditto wasn’t quite fast enough, and Chrysalis soon found herself neck deep in a clump of snow.
283. >You head over to her, not all the worried. It’s just snow, after all.
284. >You kneel down to her, pulling her out of her icy prison. She glares at you. “Never do that ever again!”
285. “Nice to see you too.”
286. >Pinkie slides over to your group. “Ooh, are you okay, Chrys?” The queen frowns.
287. >”Yes, no thanks to the ape here. Pinkie, why do you even bother with this? Just use a spell and melt the ice.”
288.
289. >She shakes her head. “No! No magic, remember?”
290. >”Then why not use the spell in a burst to set off the melting process? Come on, no p0ny will ever know.”
291. >The party pony shakes her head again. “No! That’s cheating!”
292. >Chrysalis rolls her eyes, not really caring what Pinkie thinks. “Ditto, use a fire blast or whatever it’s called on the ice.”
293. >The officer blinks, slowly turning to the ice. His horn lights up.
294. >Pinkie gasps, bouncing in front of him. “No! You can’t use magic!” She narrows her eyes at him, causing his magic to flicker and die. Pinkie is probably one of the only things Ditto is afraid of.
295. >Chrysalis gawks at him. “Insubordination? Really? I gave you an order, Ditto! Light up the lake!”
296. >Pinkie grabs his head, pulling their faces together. “No! You can’t! I’ll get in huuuge trouble if you use magic! You don’t want me to get in trouble, do you?” She gives him a sad look.
297. >”N-No... Of course not.”
298. “Chrysalis, come on, give Ditto a break. It’s just a lake anyway.”
299. >She shakes her head. “This lake has dishonoured me, and thus, all of changelingkind! It is only fair that it be burned to ash by changeling hooves.” She turns back to Ditto.
300. >”Pinkie, Ditto has a job to do, and he will do it. If you want to be mad, be mad at me. Ditto, the lake. Burn it away!”
301. >Ditto grits his teeth. The poor guy has to choose between his marefriend and his queen. Sucks to be him.
302.
303. >Pinkie frowns at him, closing her eyes. Ditto’s horn lights up, what appears to be a green flame building up near the edge.
304. >However, his casting is interrupted by Pinkie slipping under him and then bouncing up, causing the immature fireball to fly off into the air.
305. >The disoriented Ditto blinks, now somehow lying on Pinkie’s back. “W-What... what did you...?”
306. >She giggles. “Nothing! Anyway...” She turns to the two of you. “Shoo! You’re a bad influence!”
307. >And after some wild hoof waving, you leave the pink mare, Ditto making the ultimate sacrifice for his queen.
308.
309. >Meanwhile, in Ponyville
310. >Twilight Sparkle was happily checking things off of her checklist, making sure everything was going as it should.
311. >With her usual assistant, Spike, busy helping Rarity with his claws, it was up to her to make sure everything was accomplished on time.
312. >Happy to hear the nest production was going smoothly, she, with her mouth, places the checklist onto a stack of other checklists.
313. >She smiles to herself, wondering how you and Chrysalis were faring. She figured quite well.
314. >While Chrysalis wasn’t the toughest thing to ever live, she was sure the mare could handle pushing a few clouds around.
315. >And then a green fire ball fell from the sky, landing on her precious paperwork. She yells out in fear, about to cast a water spell, but stops.
316. >After all, she can’t use magic for Winter Wrap Up things. Even this sort of thing.
317. >And so, horrified, she watches her precious paperwork burn to ash. She sobs miserably; all that work, lost forever!
318. >She quickly recovers, getting a few more sheets to start again. At least she still had the reports...
319.
320. >Fleeing the scene, you quickly run into a pegasus. But not just any pegasus!
321. >Oh no, this pegasus was special. Very special.
322. >Because this pony was none other than Cloudchaser, chaser of the clouds.
323. “Oh, hi Cloudchaser. Uh... Have you seen Rainbow Dash?”
324. >She grins at you. “Rainbow eh? Why? You two have plans?”
325. >You glare at her. Chrysalis, who then came up behind you, glared at her even harder. The mare pales.
326. >”Ha... Ha, just kidding, of course! She’s uh... somewhere over there!” She points at nothing.
327. “...Thanks for the help.”
328. >You roll your eyes, walking past her, Chrysalis right behind. Cloudchaser lets out a sigh of relief.
329. >Of course, that’s when Chrysalis stops, turning back to her. The mare jumps, galloping off for dear life.
330. “Don’t you think that was a little harsh?”
331. >”If Rainbow is spreading lies about the two of you, then I assure you, she’ll be getting worse.”
332. “Chrysalis...”
333. >She doesn’t respond, pushing past you as you continue your search for the mare of rainbows.
334. >Why would Rainbow spread shit like that around? While she loves to brag, you know she wouldn’t actually go out of her way to start shit like this.
335. >Right?
336. >Well, you’ll get your answer soon enough, because, lo and behold, there she is.
337. >Rainbow Dash, who was looking away from you, was yelling some orders at a group of pegasi handling a very big cloud.
338.
339. >In the distance, you could see a huge clump of clouds. That’s probably this one’s destination too.
340. >”Come on, is that it? We have to get these clouds moving, or we’ll fall behind schedule!”
341. >”YEEEAH!”
342. >Rainbow blinks, as do you and your queen below her, searching the sky for the unstoppable Snowflake. Ah! There he is.
343. >...And he’s pushing a cloud just as big as the other. By himself.
344. >Rainbow chuckles to herself as the buffest pony in Equestria soars by. She then turns to the other mares, likely to complain that they aren’t doing as good a job as Roidy.
345. >Of course, then Chrysalis clears her throat, catching Rainbow’s attention. She turns to you, first curious, but then cheerful.
346. >She swoops down to the ground. “Hi Anon! Hi Chrys. What are you guys doin’ here?”
347. >Chrysalis glares at her, fury barely held back. Rainbow is not oblivious to this. She turns to you.
348. >”What’s her issue?” A pause. “Wait... but didn’t you say she was cool with us? What’s-“
349. >She doesn’t get to finish. “Why are you telling all your little pony friends you slept with my stallion? Who the hell do you think you are?” Her horn begins to glow. From the look of it, that’s an offensive spell. Uh oh.
350. “Chrysalis, hold up. Give her a chance to explain. Rainbow?”
351. >She blinks. “What? I never told anyp0ny about us. I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
352. >Chrysalis takes a heavy step forward. “LIAR! Cloudchaser knew all about it! Explain yourself!”
353.
354. >The volume of her accusations unfortunately gets the attention of the other ponies around, many of whom swoop down curiously.
355. >Rainbow is not happy about this, and quickly finds herself blushing uncontrollably. You groan.
356. >One of the colts pipes up. “Uh, what’s going on? Why are you yelling at Rainbow?”
357. >Chrysalis is all too happy to explain, to both you and Rainbow’s dismay. “Oh, that’s simple. Rainbow has been spreading around that she and my stallion...” She pokes you, “...have been getting very intimate with each other.”
358. >Rainbow groans, covering her reddened face with a hoof. Chrysalis glares at her. “Isn’t that right?”
359. >From the crowd, a mare steps up. “Uh... actually, I’m the one spreading that.” You all turn to her.
360. “Flitter? Seriously, what the fuck? That’s not cool.”
361. >”Neither is cheating on your marefriend, Anon! What’s wrong with you?”
362. >Rainbow glares at the accuser. “Flitter, you have no context behind anything. Stop sticking your snout in other p0ny’s business and do your job! That goes for all of you!”
363. >Her tones spooks a number of the pegasi, who fly away, getting back to cloud chasing.
364. >Rainbow turns to you and Chrysalis. “...Thanks, Chrys. I definitely needed that publicity.”
365. >She shrugs. “There’s no such thing as bad publicity, Rainbow.”
366. “Chrys, shut up and apologize already.”
367. >She rolls her eyes, giving Rainbow a half hearted apology. After much prodding , you manage to get a sincere one out of her, which pleases the fast one.
368.
369. >The... incident behind you, Rainbow moves back to the previous discussion. “So, uh, what are you guys here for anyway?”
370. “We were going to ask if we could help you with the clouds, but I think it’d be best if we just... go somewhere else.”
371. >She nods, chuckling nervously, “Yeah, that’s probably a good idea. And Chrysalis?”
372. >”Yes?”
373. >”Try to be nice to Anon for once, okay?”
374. >She rolls her eyes. “I’ll think about it. He’s been very naughty today.” She grins at you.
375. >You really don’t like the way she’s looking at you. It’s like she’s slowly peeling off all your clothing, article by article.
376. “...Chrysalis, is there something you’d like to say?”
377. >”I think I’ll save it for tonight.” You shudder. Rainbow blushes, before taking flight again.
378. >”Well, good luck with the Winter Wrap Up you two. Remember: No magic!”
379. >You head off with the changeling queen. Leave it Rainbow to set her off again. Her ranting and complaining was very hard to tune out, but you managed.
380. >For the sake of mankind, you would manage.
381.
382. >It only took a little while to get back to the town square where Twilight was... working?
383. >From the look of it, she was checking off many, many things on big scroll.
384. >Hearing you approach, she looks up from her works. Her smile quickly turns sour.
385. >”...Things didn’t work out?”
386. “You could say that.”
387. >Twilight gives Chrysalis a comforting smile. “Don’t worry, Chrysalis, I had to try out all of the teams before I found my place. Why don’t you try out the animal team?”
388. >”The animal team? I’m not really a fan of wild beasts.”
389. >Twilight groans, floating a vest over to you. “Just try it, okay?”
390. >Chrysalis smirks. “What happened to no magic?” All she gets in return is a glare for her troubles.
391. >You sigh, and head off to the Animal Team’s headquarters, which is in the opposite direction of the Weather Team.
392. >Chrysalis was close behind you, but you could tell she was getting bored of the shenanigans.
393. >The streets of Ponyville were mostly empty. Only a few fillies and colts were about, playing various games.
394. >So far there was no sign of the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Who knows what they might be up too right now...
395. >”Oh, hi Anonymous!”
396. >You stop in your tracks, looking down at a distinct, pink filly. Diamond Tiara. Fuck everything.
397. “...Can I help you?”
398.
399. >She nods. “Yep! I was hoping the two of us could go on that date! I know a great spot where my dad can see us!”
400. >Chrysalis doesn’t know whether to be upset that the mare is infringing on her territory, or laugh at how stupid the request is. She thus, takes a third option.
401. >”I’m sorry, what? In case you haven’t noticed, Anon is my stallion. You can’t have him.”
402. >Diamond rolls her eyes. “Look, ugly thing, I need him so I can get my allowance back! My dad still doesn’t trust me enough!” The queen glares at her.
403. “So going on a ‘date’ with me, who your dad has a grudge against, is supposed to get it back? How does that work?”
404. >”Easy! I’ll tell him that if he gives me back my allowance, I’ll break up with you, and then everything is great!”
405. >Except, that’s not what will happen at all. Chrysalis points this fatal flaw out to her.
406. >”Well... Aw, dangit. Hm... Well, maybe you could still help me...”
407. “...Actually, I think we should go wrap up winter. See you. Why don’t you go play with... Featherweight or something?”
408. >She mock gags. “Ew! Featherweight? That mute weirdo? No way! Hey! Where are you going?”
409. >Away, you think to yourself. And away you go, escaping the spoiled filly easily. She’s clearly out of shape.
410. >Once you’re far enough away, Chrysalis speaks. “Alright, even I have to admit, that was a little creepy.”
411. “It could have been worse.”
412. >”Of course it could have been worse. Anything can be worse, Anon.”
413.
414. >Finally, you find some sign of the Animal Team.
415. >Around a bunch of park tables stitched together is a large group of ponies, who are putting together all manner of bird’s nests.
416. >You walk over, catching Rarity’s attention. “Ah, hello there. Out for a winter stroll?”
417. “Actually, Chrys is here to help with... this stuff.”
418. >Chrysalis frowns, not linking what she’s seeing. “...I’m not so sure about that, Anon. These ponies are making nests. Nests!”
419. “And you’re from a Hive. What’s your point?”
420. >”How does this even help out the animals? If anything, the ponies here are just wasting time and energy.”
421. >Rarity ‘harumph’s. “Darling, these nests are for all the birds around Ponyville! We need to make sure the birds are living in style and luxury, dear.”
422. >”They’re birds, Rarity. That’s silly, and you know it.”
423. >Rarity sighs. “Come now, just give it a try. Sit right over there, and I’ll show you how to make them.”
424. >And so, Rarity would go through the process of how to make a birds nest with Chrysalis. Because of her disinterest, it would take a long time before she was able to do it, and even then, the finished product was mediocre at best.
425. >While that happened, you took a seat somewhere else at the table, trying your best to be social.
426. >The fact you were sitting beside Inkie Pie did not help matters.
427. “So... Inkie. How are you doing?”
428. >”A bit cold. A bit bored. A bit tired. You need something?”
429.
430. “Just trying to be friendly. How’s Blinkie doing? I haven’t seen her in awhile.”
431. >”And for good reason. You and Ditto always cause shit when you’re around.”
432. “Now, that’s not really fair. Ditto cares a lot about all three of you.”
433. >She shrugs. “I guess. Him and Pinkie have way too much sex for my liking, though. Seriously, what’s up with them?”
434. >You can’t really respond to such an accusation. It’s not like you know how Ditto’s mind works, let alone Pinkie’s.
435. “I’m sure it’s not that bad.”
436. >”The three of us share a room, Anonymous. And they’re loud. Have you ever watched TV with a loud couple going at it beside you?”
437. >Again, you have no idea what to say to that. “That’s what I thought.”
438. >From across the table, another voice cuts in. “Um... Inkie? Could you talk about... something else?”
439. >”Sure, how about I tell you about crossbows and shooting things? Oh right, you can’t stomach that. My mistake.”
440. >The pony in question, some mare you don’t know, shudders. She was brave, sitting so close to her.
441. >Or perhaps just stupid, like you.
442. >From across the table, you hear an exasperated sigh. Chrysalis isn’t doing well, clearly.
443. >”Hey, Anon, your queen’s calling. Might want to see what’s got her all pissed off.”
444. “Nah, she’ll be fine. Anyway, uh... you never told me how Blinkie is doing.”
445. >”Fine.”
446. “Just fine?”
447. >She turns to you for the first time. She does actually look tired. “Look, Anon, I’m busy with these nests.
448.
449. Can you go distract somep0ny else? Unlike you, I have a job to do.”
450. >Um, ouch. You can feel that one in your fucks. Oh wait. You don’t have any! Hahaha!
451. >You get up, moving back to Chrysalis, who has pretty much given up. Rarity sighs.
452. >”Darling, come now, you can do it.”
453. >”No, ‘darling,’ I can’t. The materials keep falling through my hooves. This whole thing is pointless and stupid.”
454. >Rarity sighs. “Anon, could you be a dear and take Chrysalis over to Fluttershy? I need to know how many nests she needs.”
455. “I guess I can do that. Chrys?”
456. >”Fine.” She gets up, sighing.
457. >On your way over to the rest of the Animal Team, you decide to give Chrys a little pep talk. She’s clearly not enjoying herself at all.
458. “Come on, Chrysalis! Are you just going to let Winter Wrap Up beat you?”
459. >”Hmph. Winter Wrap Up is stupid; the snow will melt on its own if they just leave it.”
460. “They’re making it go faster! Come on, Chrys, you can do this. It’s just a nest!”
461. >”Nests are stupid. All of this is stupid. Right now, I’d like to go home and watch My Little Molly. The season finale is airing later today.”
462. “Then, once we finish up here, we can go home and watch it. Together. It’ll be fun!”
463. >You smile at her, getting a weak smile back.
464. “I’ll even give you a massage, if you’d like.”
465. >She smiles seductively. “Ooh, that’s more like it. Yes, I like this plan.”
466. >And with her spirits again raised, you pushed onward to the fields where animals did sleep and rest.
467.
468. >After being pointed in the right direction, you came up to the yellow pony, who was counting a huge number of bunnies all standing before her.
469. >Noticing how antsy the rabbits were getting as you approached, the mare turned around.
470. >”Oh! Anon! Chrysalis! What are you doing here?”
471. >Chrysalis shrugs. “We need to know how many nests you need, so we can tell Rarity to make that many. Well?”
472. >She blinks. “Oh. Well, I’m counting the rabbits now. I’ll let you know in a sec-“
473. >”No, Fluttershy, tell us now.” She takes a few steps closer, causing the rabbits to tense.
474. >Considering that there are a few hundred rabbits here, that’s not a good thing.
475. >”Um, please back up, you’re scaring the ra-“
476. >”Fluttershy, that’s not a number.” She takes a few steps closer, oblivious to what she’s about to unleash.
477. “Chrysalis...”
478. >It’s too late. One of the rabbits yells out, or well, you think it does, and they bolt, rushing off in all directions, thoroughly rustling the shit out of Fluttershy and Chrysalis.
479. >After the stampede subsides, you realize there’s now a bunny sitting on Chrysalis’ head, blinding her.
480. >Fluttershy flutters up to her, removing it.
481. >Chrysalis jumps at the very scary stare Fluttershy is giving her. “Oh... ha... sorry.”
482. >”It took me all day to get them to stand still like that. Go. Now.”
483. >Not need to be told again, Chrysalis flees from the stare, her magic dragging you along with her.
484.
485. >Soon enough, you’re back at the town square, ready to let Twilight know you were giving up.
486. >My Little Molly would air soon; you’d need to go fast lest you risk missing the opening.
487. >However, arriving, you quickly saw Twilight was not alone. With her was Pinkie Pie, Ditto and Rainbow Dash.
488. >Both Pinkie and her boyfriend had the sheepiest smiles you’ve ever seen. No doubt you know what they’re in trouble for.
489. >Rainbow just looked guilty.
490. >Shortening the distance, you soon were able to hear what the ponies were talking about.
491. >”Honestly, Pinkie, you can’t just shirk your responsibilities like that! The whole weather team is behind schedule now...”
492. >She sighs. Pinkie responds with: “But, Twilight, I haven’t a chance to have sex in the snow! I needed to try it at least once before the winter ended!”
493. >Rainbow groans. “Pinkie, I could have just gotten you a bit of snow if you want to do... that so badly.”
494. >Ditto shakes his head. “Why do I always get roped into these things?”
495. >Twilight turns back to Rainbow. “And what do you mean, ‘the crew is distracted’? What’s distracting them? Why are they working so slowly?”
496. >”Look, it’s personal, and I don’t want to say. We’ll finish up really quick, I promise.”
497. >Twilight facehoofs as you get in range of them. You clear your throat, drawing their attention.
498. >Twilight speaks first. “Oh! Anon! Chrysalis! ...I’m guessing the Animal Team was a flop, then?”
499.
500. “You could say that. Anyway, Twilight, we’re going to retire for the day. We... tried, I guess, but it’s just not working out. I hope you understand.”
501. >Twilight is not happy about this. “But... Come on, at least try the Plant Team!”
502. >Rainbow stops her. “Yes, let’s send Anonymous and Chrysalis to Applejack’s Plant Team. That’s definitely a good idea, Twilight.”
503. >She pauses, eventually conceding. “Hm, I guess you’re right. Well, if you two, thanks for the help. See you tomorrow?”
504. >Chrysalis shrugs. “I think the two of us will be a bit busy tomorrow. We need to celebrate the spring, after all.”
505. “Are you implying something, Chrysalis?”
506. >She giggles, causing you to sigh. Well, it could be worse.
507. >”Rainbow Dash?”
508. >You look up, toward the sound of the voice. Was that Derpy?
509. >Yes, yes it was. The gray pegasus flies over to your group, landing before you. She has a lovely blue vest on.
510. >Rainbow frowns. “Oh, hey Derpy. What are you doing here?”
511. >”Well, I got the southern birds, but I’m not sure where to put them. So I thought I’d ask you!”
512. >She smiles cheerfully. Ah, good ol’ Derpy.
513. >Rainbow shrugs, “Uh... Here’s fine, I guess. Fluttershy will probably just pick them up later. You okay with that, Twi?”
514. >She nods. “Yeah, it’s fine.”
515. >Derpy nods, flying back into the air, disappearing from sight.
516.
517. >Then she returns, with the birds. There’s all kinds with her, from robins to bluejays to seagulls to pidgeons.
518. >Oh. And a Roc. A fucking ROC.
519. >The absolutely gi-fucking-gantic bird lands besides the Town Hall, shaking the ground. The thing is pretty much the same size as the building.
520. >You all look on, scared for dear life. Well, except Pinkie and Derpy, who looked on in awe. Holy fucking shit. You turn to Derpy.
521. “...Why the hell did you bring this thing to Ponyville, Derpy?”
522. >Pinkie bounces over to it. “That’s easy, Anon! She wants to have a Roc Party!”
523. >Quickly gathering up your queen and commander, you flee the scene. Yeah, that’s no party for you.
524. >Hell, you didn’t even like birds.
525.
526. >Later that day, you were back in your home. While you had indeed disrupted the Winter Wrap Up operation, you did far less damage to the pony’s efforts.
527. >That, of course, was what the Roc was for, and it spent the afternoon ripping apart Town Hall before flying away to do bird things.
528. >According to Derpy, it was late for a gig with its rock band. Well then...
529. >And so, here you were, with Chrysalis, giving her a wonderful back massage.
530. >She was loving every second of it. “Ooh... Yes, right there. Aaah...”
531. “...Please, Chrysalis, control your orgasms. It’s not that good.”
532. >She laughs at your joke. Maybe. You make a note to put a towel under her next time. Just in case.
533. >”Oh, Anon, you make me feel so alive...”
534. “Is that a good thing or a bad thing?”
535. >”Mmm... I don’t know. Maybe a bit of both. Oh! Lower! Looower!” You sigh.
536. “Chrysalis... what part of /back/ rub don’t you understand?”
537. >She cackles evilly. You glance over to Ditto, who was in your chair. You word to him, ‘help me.’
538. >The changeling shakes his head. “Sorry, Anon, you’re on your own.”
539. >You sigh, and return to your manly duties. Your hands would be sore after this, you were sure.
540. >But at least Chrysalis is happy. That’s always a good thing.
541. >Right?
