[12:16]  * GreenSleeves and GreenHoof walk up to the riverside.
[12:17] <GreenHoof> "Alright... it's all sandy and shallow and shit here, so you can see right through the water."
[12:18]  * GreenSleeves walks up to the edge, acting far more timid than usual.
[12:18] <GreenSleeves> "I don't know...."
[12:19]  * GreenSleeves dips his front hoof into the river, then snaps it out almost without delay.
[12:19] <GreenHoof> "Dude, it's fine. If any of those sea pony fuckers come they're dead."
[12:20] <GreenHoof> "Plus, they left. She told me so. Trust me."
[12:20] <GreenSleeves> "I know, it's just..... fuck I can't explain it."
[12:20]  * GreenSleeves test the water again, leaving his front hoof in this time.
[12:21] <GreenSleeves> "I'd feel a little better if you came in with me."
[12:21] <GreenHoof> "Good. And you don't have to explain it. You have a right to be bothered."
[12:21]  * GreenSleeves quickly adds No homo
[12:22] <GreenHoof> "Alright, sure."
[12:22]  * GreenHoof steps in all fours
[12:22]  * GreenSleeves takes another step in, his front two hooves wet.
[12:22]  * GreenSleeves cringes a bit, then continues walking into the water.
[12:22] <GreenHoof> "It's safe. No one can touch us here."
[12:23] <GreenHoof> "This river is ours, now."
[12:23]  * GreenSleeves lets out a nervous chuckle at he totally homo touching comment.
[12:24]  * GreenHoof laughs "God this is gay. But whatever. I'm gonna help you get over this shit, alright?"
[12:24] <GreenSleeves> "I know it's save and all, but I just can't seem to shake the feelings, you know? I really appreciate you being here for this."
[12:25]  * GreenSleeves is deep enough that the water just touches belly.
[12:25] <GreenHoof> "I don't blame you. Those fuckers were creeps, and although you won't tell me exactly what happened yet, I don't doubt that it was... disturbing."
[12:26] <GreenSleeves> "I... I just don't like to think about it."
[12:27]  * GreenSleeves is now in far enough that the water is just a few inches below the base of his neck.
[12:27] <GreenSleeves> "I think this is deep enough."
[12:28]  * GreenSleeves starts to scrub himself as best as he can with hooves.
[12:28]  * GreenHoof walks in to the same depth as GreenSleeves "Yeah. Good. Now I just stand here for a few minutes and let the current wash me, then start scrubbing a little. But you do whatever feels best."

[13:28]  * GreenSleeves shudders a bit at the cold water as he cleans himself.
[13:28] <GreenHoof> "Gooood. Let the water flow through you!"
[13:28]  * GreenHoof imitates Palpatine
[13:28]  * GreenSleeves can't help but laugh. "Damnit Hoof."
[13:29]  * GreenSleeves is about to dunk his head under to get his mane wet, but stops.
[13:29] <GreenSleeves> "Hey Hoof...."
[13:29] <GreenHoof> "Yeah?"
[13:29] <GreenSleeves> "Would you, maybe, ummm, stand a little closer while I do this?"
[13:30]  * GreenHoof moves right next to GreenSleeves "Sure. Take your time, do it when you're ready."
[13:30]  * GreenSleeves looks away. "Thanks."
[13:31] <GreenHoof> "No problem... no homo."
[13:31]  * GreenSleeves submerges his whole head after a few moments, then pulls up once properly wet.
[13:32] <GreenHoof> "Good, good."
[13:32]  * GreenSleeves silently begins working his hooves through his mane, working out any dirt and grime that is in there.
[13:32]  * GreenHoof watches GreenSleeves clean "So you've only been washing in the rain? Damn son..."
[13:33] <GreenSleeves> "Yeah. It's pretty gross. I'm amazed no one mentioned the smell, aside from your comment earlier."
[13:34] <GreenHoof> "Actually, I hadn't noticed until you said something. Guess you just don't get stinky in one day like some."
[13:35]  * GreenSleeves looks at GreenHoof for a bit of reasurance, then puts his head under again, rinsing out the last of any dirt or debris in his mane.
[13:36]  * GreenSleeves pulls up. "Hoof. Thanks a lot for this. You are a good friend."
[13:37]  * GreenSleeves starts to wade back towards the shore.
[13:39]  * GreenHoof follows "Don't worry about it. Anytime you need this, just let me know, ok?"
[13:40] <GreenSleeves> "I understand."
[13:40]  * GreenSleeves gets out of the water, then does his best to shake like a dog, throwing water everywhere.
[13:41]  * GreenHoof follows and does the same "This would look so gay to any onlookers... Haha."
[13:41] <GreenSleeves> "Yeah, I'm so glad no one was watching this."
[13:41] <GreenSleeves> "Wayyyy to homo looking."
[13:43] <GreenHoof> "Yeah. But I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks. Hell, we've been through a lot together. We gotta watch each other's back. Kind of like... brothers."
[13:44]  * GreenSleeves nods. "Yeah, Brothers."
[13:44] <GreenHoof> "So.... what now?"
[13:44] <GreenSleeves> [GreenSleeves and GreenHoof walk off into the sunset holding hooves, but it totally isn't gay or anything]

[13:47]  * GreenSleeves thinks for a moment, then wonders why the fuck this needs even a moment of consideration. "You fuckin' bet!"
