They didn't know how much. As Nereek told them that he's going to teach them they've started to jump around him with cheerful laughter. He was really stunned. These creatures were way too innocent - some years ago he'd only felt supremacy or sometimes disgust to such innocent view, but now it was warming his heart, despite all these people calling him heartless monster, or this stupid nickname "Voidheart" he has one and now it was filled with laughter of three little children: Rikka, Luna and Celestia. But even with all hearwarming sensations he knew that world is cruel place and his mind was already on the race, trying to think of the way to make them good persons and magicians strong enough to protect anybody they love without turning them into ruthless killer like he was.

"Well, well. I really appreciate that, but you know, I'll be asking a lot if you want to learn from me. By the way we have your own problem to solve, remember? You're from some land of Equestria, and even if we don't like the idea of saying goodbye, I'm pretty sure that someone is waiting there for you, am I right?"

"Yes, you are."

Now both ponies looked saddened a bit.

"I didn't mean i want to get rid of you as soon as possible. Even if I find a way to send you back, you're always welcome here."

At least sad expressions left their faces. Good enough to start with.

"And now your first lesson - help Rikka to clean the table."

Nereek followed them to the kitchen and sat down.

"Aren't you going to help us?"

"No, Luna, not this time. I do another stuff at this home and we are fine with this. Plus i want to observe your magic - then I'll be able to set a plan on your teachings."

"You can feel magic? That's amasing!"

"Actually I felt you both even before you, Celestia, knocked at my door."

"Wow."

Damn, they are way too cute when they're talking in unison like this.

"But now shh, and get on the job, little ones. I have to study your magic to be able to do something about it, and there is no better way for studying it than doing something unnecessary with your powers - they became very personal and felt like an aura, very intimate and personal."

Damn it again. How possibly anyone can be this cute? He didn't know. Even washing dishes and drying them off they've radiated with love and care. With serious faces they've took this task as important mission. But inside was only joy, care and love. Suddenly, one of the dishes fell down, with a loud noise it's shattered pieces flew away.

"S-sorry, sir Nereek."

"Oh, come on, it was just dish and I'm just Nereek."

"B-but I've broken it."

Casting a puzzled look to the Rikka, Nereek leaned closer to white filly.

"It's just a dish, it's not someone nor something we can't help with. Everyone can fix it, even without any magic, but what if we have it?, see?"

Nereek levitated broken pieces closer and mend them right before Celestia's eyes.

"See, it's okay now. And I'm sure that one day you'll be able to fix it yourself.

Luna came closer, surprised by the trick.  Just what kind of world did these two come from if they don't know about such easy things with such powers. Even though Nereek couldn't see them attacking him, he still felt their presence like he would be able to feel water in the middle of the sea.

"Well, I have to go for now, I think I'll be back before the evening. Meanwhile I have nothing for you to do, so I assume you three can spend some time playing around. If you need anything, ask Rikka. What about you - it's  always the same: be a good girl, go to bed before it's too late and take care of our guests."

"Sure, dad, don't worry."

He kissed her cheek and smiled.

"I know, dear, I know."
