  1. ((You are Anon))
  2.
  3. >You look up from your work, over to Cydia sleeping soundly on the couch
  4. >She brought up a good point
  5. >Are you ever going to take her out into the city?
  6. >Bringing her out in public was sure to cause a big fuss
  7. >You aren't very tolerant when it comes to big crowds
  8. >Too bad you live in Vancouver
  9. >She is so adorable
  10. >Even though she is part moth, she is still the cutest thing you have ever seen
  11. >You had a few family pets as a kid but nothing like this
  12. >You don't want to look at her as a pet though because she seems too intelligent to fit the word
  13. >How long will she stay with you?
  14. >As things look right now, you will be taking care of her for the rest of her life
  15. >You did enjoy living in solitude
  16. >But this is the greatest exception ever
  17. >You get up and walk over to her
  18. >You decide to save this cute moment
  19. >Quickly whipping your phone out of your pocket, you take a picture of the sleeping moth pony
  20. >Then you set her as your wallpaper...
  21. >What is happening to you...
  22. >You find yourself now eager for her to wake up
  23. >What was it she said earlier about turning into a moth at night?
  24. >Is she really going to turn into a moth?
  25. >The thought of it kind of freaks you out
  26. >Transformation and crap like that only happens in fairytales
  27. >Was that moth and the wall last night... her?
  28. >There was no contemplating it, moth is gone, pony is here
  29.
  30. >It's now about 2:00pm
  31. >You can't take it anymore
  32. >You carry the laptop back over to the couch and set it down on the table
  33. "Cydia?" You whisper
  34. >You brush your hand over her head
  35. >She shuffles a little and turns sideways
  36. "Cydia." You say again
  37. >You scratch her fuzzy neck and she giggles
  38. >"Aw, and I was having such a great dream too!" She says with a pout
  39. "What was it about?"
  40. >"I dunno."
  41. >You laugh
  42. "So... about turning into a moth, do you really mean it?"
  43. >"I'm not joking. At night, I turn into a moth about the size of your hand." She says, motioning to your hand
  44. "Sigh... Well, I am going to have to keep you safe. Where should I put you?"
  45. >"Well, You could just leave me out to fly around."
  46. "I guess so, don't go near the windows though okay?"
  47. >"O-okay."
  48. "And don't go near the light in the-"
  49. >You just remembered you had one of those lamps with those bulbs that get as hot as a stove element
  50. "Dining room... You know what, I am just going to leave that off from now on."
  51. >Why are you so concerned for her? You have never acted this way towards anyone
  52. >"Okay Anon, thanks."
  53. "I think it's time for me to take a little break, wanna watch some TV?"
  54. >"Sure!"
  55. >You grab the remote and turn on your flatscreen TV
  56. >You flip through channels
  57. >You land on a documentary about moths
  58. >The two of you look at each other for a moment
  59. >You both start snickering
  60. "Should I?"
  61. >"Hah, go ahead, you might... learn something about me! Hahaha!"
  62. >She starts laughing her head off
  63. >And it's not one of those annoying, girly, bitchy laughs
  64. >It's more like a medium toned, happy, reassuring laugh, but not too blunt
  65. >You flip to the channel and sit down next to her
  66. >Watching one of these reminds you of high school
  67. >Haven't watched a nature show in ages
  68. >Cydia scoots closer to you
  69. >'Moths that have adapted to their surroundings, can easily blend in with most of the plants in their environment.'
  70. >You are learning, woohoo
  71. >You hear her chuckle
  72. >"Look at how well I blend in with the couch!" She says while holding back a laugh
  73. >The couch is dark blue
  74. "Very funny, Cydia."
  75. >She cuddles up close to you
  76. >"You're warm."
  77. >And with that, she leans on you and gets wing powder all over your shirt
  78. "Wai- I- ah nevermind..."
  79. >She shuffles back
  80. >"Is something wrong?"
  81. "No, everything is fine."
  82. >"Oh okay."
  83. >She cuddles back up next to you
  84. >So cute
  85. >You grab a wad of string off of the table and hold it out to her in your hand
  86. >She stuffs her muzzle in your hand and starts gnawing on the string
  87. >So what do you do when it is a special occasion?
  88. >Do you buy... fancy string?
  89.
  90. >You decide to get a snack of your own
  91. >You walk into the kitchen and quickly make an instant bag of popcorn
  92. >"Anon?"
  93. "Yes?"
  94. >"Can I have some?"
  95. "Hmm, why not."
  96. >Her eyes light up in joy
  97. >You burst the bag open and grab a handful
  98. >You put it in front of her face
  99. >She starts rubbing her antennae all over it
  100. >"Smells really good!"
  101. >She eats a few pieces
  102. >"Wow! This is great!"
  103. "That's good to hear."
  104. >You both walk back to the couch to finish watching the documentary
  105. >You lay down on the couch
  106. >She gets on top of you
  107. >Awkward... but cute as hell from the angle you are looking at her
  108. >You feed her more popcorn
  109. >She munches away happily
  110. >Beginning to not even care about the wingpowder, you wrap your arms around her and hug her like a teddy bear
  111. >She gasps but then relaxes
  112. >"Thank you Anon."
  113. "Thank you too..."
  114. >"For what?"
  115. "I... well... for meeting me."
