  1. >You stare in silence at the pony
  2. >It stares at you
  3. >It's kinda cute
  4. >you walk towards the creature
  5. >A look of concern crosses its face
  6. >You reach out a hand
  7. >Its antennae fold back and it scrunches its face
  8. "There there." You say softly as you boldly but gently brush a hand on its face
  9. >"Squueeeeeeeeeeaaa!"
  10. >The pony lets out a long high pitched squeak while backing into a corner of your kitchen
  11. >You seemed to have scared it
  12. >That noise gave you the shivers though
  13. >You again, walk closer the creature
  14. >You reach out a hand again and brush its head
  15. >It quivers, it's wings vibrating as if about to flee
  16. >The large deep black eyes stare up at you as you let the soft pony
  17. >It's incredibly soft
  18. >It actually feels more silky than soft
  19. "Hey, I'm not going to hurt you." You say calmly
  20. >As if it understood you, its wings stopped vibrating and it stopped shivering completely
  21. >The pony moved its antennae and started rubbing your arm and hand with them
  22. >It tickled a bit
  23. >You laugh
  24. >It giggled as well!
  25. >If this isn't a dream, it's probably the most fascinating thing to ever happen
  26. >How is this even possible?
  27. >It's so strange and impossible
  28. >Yet so adorable
  29. "Do you have a home?"
  30. >The moth pony's antennae droop and it looks down at the ground
  31. "I'll take that as a no... But, how did you get here?"
  32. >It stares blankly
  33. "Nevermind."
  34. >"I... I..."
  35. >Your eyes go wide as you watch the pony start to speak
  36. >"If you... Want me to talk... I... Will." It says in a whispered, shy female voice.
  37. "Oh my goodness you can talk!"
  38. >She hides behind a wing
  39.
  40. "Hey, it's alright, do you have a name?"
  41. >"Cydia..."
  42. >Her head twitches a bit and she rubs her antennae with a hoof
  43. >She folds her wing back and stares up at you
  44. >The room falls silent again
  45. "Do you... need somewhere to stay? Cydia?"
  46. >"Yes... but I have no idea what keeps happening."
  47. "What do you mean?"
  48. >"I change."
  49. "Change into what?"
  50. >"Well, I don't remember anything before last week, but every night I turn into a moth!"
  51. "But, you are a moth, you're a... uh... a moth, pony?"
  52. >"I don't know anymore..."
  53. >Tears start to fill her eyes
  54. "Hey! hey! Don't cry... you're fine."
  55. >"No I'm not! I just want to be normal again, I want to go back!"
  56. >Her tongue rolls out of her mouth
  57. >"Oh... I'm sorry." She says blushing, as she retracts her tongue
  58. >"I am still getting used to this."
  59. "Wait, what were you before?"
  60. >"A pony."
  61. "I see... Well don't worry okay? You seem like you're somewhat intelligent, I'm sure you'll make it in this world."
  62. >She glares at you
  63. "I didn't mean it like that."
  64. >She grunts
  65. "So... you turn into a moth at night?"
  66. >"Y-yes."
  67. "Well... I can see some advantages to that."
  68. >"Like what?"
  69. "You can fly in places you would never be able to go as a pony."
  70. >"But what if I get eaten? What if I get squished? What if I drown? What if I burn in a light?"
  71. "Calm down Cydia I-"
  72. >"Please take care of me!" She squeaks as she puts two hooves on you
  73. "Don't worry, I'll take care of you."
  74. >"Oh thank you... Uh, what's your name sir?"
  75. "Anon."
  76. >"That's a nice name."
  77. "Yours too."
  78. >She smiles and walks back over to the curtain on the floor
  79. >She takes a tuft of it in her mouth and begins to chew on it again
  80. "Wuh! Wait! That's my... Curtain... Screw it, you've wrecked it already, keep it."
  81. >"Oh, Anon I'm so sorry, it really is delicious though. do you want it back?"
  82. >You notice a huge segment missing from it
  83. "Please just keep it."
  84.
  85. >Cydia happily munches away at the curtain
  86. >You decide to just not question all of this
  87. >There is no actual way to explain it
  88. >You feel overcome with joy, but confused at the same time
  89. >How do- no... just stop
  90. >What has happened to you just now is probably something no one else will ever experience
  91. "What do you eat besides... well... that?"
  92. >"I'll eat anything with fabric, Anon."
  93. >You think about it
  94. >Maybe you could get her a ball of yarn at that craft place downtown
  95. >Or a few
  96. >She leaves the curtain and starts to climb up the wall and to your lamp
  97. >"Oh, Thank goodness you have those little pieces of sun in here."
  98. "What?"
  99. >"The pieces of sun, you keep them inside too! It's great!"
  100. "Uh... yeah... I like my lamp too."
  101. >She crawls underneath the lamp and clings to the floor
  102. >"Thank you again Anon."
  103. "No problem."
  104. >You needed someone or something to take care of in your life
  105. >This strange creature will be perfect
  106. >"I like you Anon, you're great." Cydia says with a smile
  107. "Well... thank you."
