- >You stare in silence at the pony
- >It stares at you
- >It's kinda cute
- >you walk towards the creature
- >A look of concern crosses its face
- >You reach out a hand
- >Its antennae fold back and it scrunches its face
- "There there." You say softly as you boldly but gently brush a hand on its face
- >"Squueeeeeeeeeeaaa!"
- >The pony lets out a long high pitched squeak while backing into a corner of your kitchen
- >You seemed to have scared it
- >That noise gave you the shivers though
- >You again, walk closer the creature
- >You reach out a hand again and brush its head
- >It quivers, it's wings vibrating as if about to flee
- >The large deep black eyes stare up at you as you let the soft pony
- >It's incredibly soft
- >It actually feels more silky than soft
- "Hey, I'm not going to hurt you." You say calmly
- >As if it understood you, its wings stopped vibrating and it stopped shivering completely
- >The pony moved its antennae and started rubbing your arm and hand with them
- >It tickled a bit
- >You laugh
- >It giggled as well!
- >If this isn't a dream, it's probably the most fascinating thing to ever happen
- >How is this even possible?
- >It's so strange and impossible
- >Yet so adorable
- "Do you have a home?"
- >The moth pony's antennae droop and it looks down at the ground
- "I'll take that as a no... But, how did you get here?"
- >It stares blankly
- "Nevermind."
- >"I... I..."
- >Your eyes go wide as you watch the pony start to speak
- >"If you... Want me to talk... I... Will." It says in a whispered, shy female voice.
- "Oh my goodness you can talk!"
- >She hides behind a wing
- "Hey, it's alright, do you have a name?"
- >"Cydia..."
- >Her head twitches a bit and she rubs her antennae with a hoof
- >She folds her wing back and stares up at you
- >The room falls silent again
- "Do you... need somewhere to stay? Cydia?"
- >"Yes... but I have no idea what keeps happening."
- "What do you mean?"
- >"I change."
- "Change into what?"
- >"Well, I don't remember anything before last week, but every night I turn into a moth!"
- "But, you are a moth, you're a... uh... a moth, pony?"
- >"I don't know anymore..."
- >Tears start to fill her eyes
- "Hey! hey! Don't cry... you're fine."
- >"No I'm not! I just want to be normal again, I want to go back!"
- >Her tongue rolls out of her mouth
- >"Oh... I'm sorry." She says blushing, as she retracts her tongue
- >"I am still getting used to this."
- "Wait, what were you before?"
- >"A pony."
- "I see... Well don't worry okay? You seem like you're somewhat intelligent, I'm sure you'll make it in this world."
- >She glares at you
- "I didn't mean it like that."
- >She grunts
- "So... you turn into a moth at night?"
- >"Y-yes."
- "Well... I can see some advantages to that."
- >"Like what?"
- "You can fly in places you would never be able to go as a pony."
- >"But what if I get eaten? What if I get squished? What if I drown? What if I burn in a light?"
- "Calm down Cydia I-"
- >"Please take care of me!" She squeaks as she puts two hooves on you
- "Don't worry, I'll take care of you."
- >"Oh thank you... Uh, what's your name sir?"
- "Anon."
- >"That's a nice name."
- "Yours too."
- >She smiles and walks back over to the curtain on the floor
- >She takes a tuft of it in her mouth and begins to chew on it again
- "Wuh! Wait! That's my... Curtain... Screw it, you've wrecked it already, keep it."
- >"Oh, Anon I'm so sorry, it really is delicious though. do you want it back?"
- >You notice a huge segment missing from it
- "Please just keep it."
- >Cydia happily munches away at the curtain
- >You decide to just not question all of this
- >There is no actual way to explain it
- >You feel overcome with joy, but confused at the same time
- >How do- no... just stop
- >What has happened to you just now is probably something no one else will ever experience
- "What do you eat besides... well... that?"
- >"I'll eat anything with fabric, Anon."
- >You think about it
- >Maybe you could get her a ball of yarn at that craft place downtown
- >Or a few
- >She leaves the curtain and starts to climb up the wall and to your lamp
- >"Oh, Thank goodness you have those little pieces of sun in here."
- "What?"
- >"The pieces of sun, you keep them inside too! It's great!"
- "Uh... yeah... I like my lamp too."
- >She crawls underneath the lamp and clings to the floor
- >"Thank you again Anon."
- "No problem."
- >You needed someone or something to take care of in your life
- >This strange creature will be perfect
- >"I like you Anon, you're great." Cydia says with a smile
- "Well... thank you."
