  1. >Rarity soon leaves you with the 3 fillies in the street.
  2. >"What are we going to do mister Anonymous?" Pipes up the white one.
  3. "First of all I want to know your names."
  4. >"Well I am Sweetie Bell, my friend there is Scootaloo, and she is AppleBloom." She points her hoof to each one of them.
  5. "I see, well I was walking to a stall I'm taking over for today, guy who usually sells the goods is sick."
  6. >You start walking through the market, and the three try and keep up.
  7. >You take a long winding path through the stalls and alleyways and start to slowly pat along, waiting for the three to catch up.
  8. >The crusaders and you both make your way through the jungle of business and end up at a lone stall with a bright green pony behind it.
  9.
  10. >"Hey Anon!" She picks up a leek and twirls it around between her hooves.
  11. "And hello to you to Leafy Green, nice to see you again" you walk over to the stall."
  12. >"You still need to pay the producers fee from the cabbage incident yesterday evening Anon."
  13. >Wordlessly you flip the closed sign at the stall and begin setting up shop to sell the leeks.
  14. "Don't worry about it."
  15. >Even if you are a merchant you have savings for times like this, if goods are lost to diamond dogs or pests.
  16. >You hand over a fat stack of bits into her hooves and she places them neatly into a bag.
  17. >The three crusaders are hiding behind you as all of this unfolds and the mare notices them.
  18. "They are here to help me run shop as a punishment for losing my produce yesterday."
  19. >"Well lets not hope that it happens again. Understood Anon?" Leafy Green asks.
  20. "Of course!"
  21. >"I'll leave you to it then." So with that she was off trodding back up to her farm.
  22. >"Mister Anonymous what to we need to do, this job cant possibly be any work."
  23. >Silencing then with a finger, a grey buff workpony makes his way up to you.
  24. >"Just got on my lunch break, whats your price for a leek?"
  25. "Two bits a leek sir."
  26. >He eyes the leeks unsure of the price.
  27. "The leeks are fresh from Leafy Green's farm up the road." You reassure him.
  28. >"Okay, then I'll buy three." He says as he places 6 bits into your outstretched hand.
  29. "Sweetie Bell can you hand me three of the leeks please?" you pat her on the head.
  30. >"Okay Anon" She grabs three leeks and stretches to put them up onto the counter.
  31. >The stallion leaves and you ask the crusaders a question.
  32. "Do you think you are up to handling the stall a bit while i watch your progress you three?"
  33. >"I think I can Mister Anon, I sometimes handled my sisters cart." Says AppleBloom.
  34. "Then we have some experience in your group, do what i did to the next pony who comes along."
  35.
  36. >Another stallion in a workpony's uniform walks up to the shop and you the three greet him.
  37. >"Hello Mister, we are selling leeks two bits a leek." They mumble out.
  38. >The stallion look unimpressed.
  39. >"And why shouldn't I go get an apple instead for a lower price?" He asks.
  40. >Leaving them without an answer he trods off to another stall.
  41. "You have failed, try sounding cheerful and make your voice heard. Reassure him that these leeks are what they want to eat.
  42. >"Thanks mister Anon we'll try harder next time".
  43.
  44. >That next time seems to be coming soon as a mare with bags of food come along to the shop.
  45. >"I'm looking something to add to my meal at home, whats the price of the leeks?" The mare casually says.
  46. >"We are selling the leeks two bits a leek, as they grown by a respected farm owner, leafy green."
  47. >"Hmm" The mare sounds out.
  48. >"I'll buy 5 leeks please."
  49. "Nice, now say thank you and goodbye when she leaves!" You whisper to them.
  50. >The mare places the bits on the stall table, takes her leeks and leaves.
  51. >Thank you's and goodbye's were said respectively.
  52. "Next time count the bits, but other than that aspect you did excellent, only needing a bit of training." You walk up to the stall counting the bits.
  53. "Good job." You look behind you to see three proud faces beaming smiles at you.
  54. >"We did it!" they shout.
  55. "I will tend the stall for the rest of day if you want, you did good and learned a valuable thing."
  56. >"We could take over the stall at some parts sir!" Says Sweetie Bell
  57. "Thanks Sweetie Bell."
  58.
  59. >Hours pass by and soon you and the crusaders are tired and worked from a long day of trading bits for goods.
  60. >The sky is a light orange and you see rarity walking towards you.
  61. >"It's time for them to go home now Anon, i hope they didn't give you too much trouble."
  62. >"Did they behave?"
  63. "Yes, they were amazing and helpful today."
  64. >They melt your cold iron heart.
  65. >"Bye Anon." Scootaloo mumbles.
  66. >You walk back to your home and open the door.
  67. >Yawning, you dress into your nightclothes and slide into bed.
  68. >You slowly black into sleep.
