At the bar

>Another tough day at work is over and now it is your time to relax. You push the door open and walk into the bar.

>Inside it is more lively than usual, there is a new crowd you haven't seen in here before. There are Lunar guards spread out, some are talking with others or chatting amongst themselves.

>But there is one mare sitting alone next to your spot. You go and sit down in your usual seat.

"Hey, the usual please."

>Draft nods and pours your dark liquor. You pick up the glass and sniff it before taking a gulp.

"Ahhh, feels good."

>You noticed that the mare next to you is eyeing you. Once she notices that you see you have her attention she goes back to looking at her glass.

"Hey."

>You calmly say it while looking straight, she looks at you. You turn your head and look at her.

"Tough day?"

>"Uhm yeah, just did my first day."

"Cool, so are you the one who set the animals loose during the assassination?"

>She looks at you shocked that you know what happened earlier.

>"H-How did you-"

"I have the same boss as you."

>You take another drink, she looks a little flustered that someone knows what she did.

>"I'm so embarrassed... I didn't mean to cause the animals to dirty the castle..."

>She looks upset and you feel sorry for her.

"Hey, mistakes happen... You learn from them. Today was your first day, you did okay. The Princesses are safe and sound that is what matters."

>She looks at you with a smile.

>"Hey... You're right... We got them and failed their plans. Thanks Mister!"

"No problem, just don't make a big mess next time there's trouble at the castle. I clean that shit up... And today I litterally cleaned shit."

>She looks embarrssed and puts her hof on your shoulder.

>"Oh I am sorry! Next time I promise there won't be any animals loose! But I can't promise on making too mush debris."

"Hmmm okay, so whats your name?"

>She blushes and taps her hooves together.

>"Uhm my name is... Gloom Wing..."

>You raise your glass up.

"Well hey Gloom Wing, my name is Anonymous."

>"And let me tell you another ding... the Wonderful and Great me is the best! Best!Powerful! Ahh!"

>The mare falls off the chair and lays on the floor.You look over your shoulder and take a drink.

"Well now... that was interesting. Hey Draft, close my tab."

>You finish your drink and get up. Draft stops you and asks you for a favor.

>"Anon, I'll rip tonight's tab if you take Trixie home. She lives in a small wagon down by Saddle Alley that has blue shutters, its the one with a painted star on the door."

>It sounded good, save some bits by taking a drunk mare home. You pick her up and toss her onto your shoulder.

>She mumbles and slurs some incoherent words. You put on her robe and wizard hat so it wouldn't get dirty.

>You go to Saddle Alley to do this simple task, the night felt very nice. Just a little chilly but no winds.

>Some streets away you hear someone yell loudly.

>"Stop right there criminal scum!"

>You stop and turn around and see nothing. The sound of the voice is feminine and came from behind.

>"Hey up here."

>You look up and see someone flying in the dark night sky.

>"Hey Anon, what are you doing with that mare?"

>Your eyes finally adjust and you see it is that mare from the other week.

"Oh uhm hey, I'm just taking her home. She had too much to drink at the bar."

>She looks at you suspiciously.

>"Okay, do you mind if I help you?"

"Uhm sure, okay I guess."

>She lands and walks beside you as you go to Trixie's house.

>"So how have you been?"

"Oh just working and living. You?"

>"Same, I'm finally getting the hang of this."

>She smiles filled with pride, you return it. You finally spot what looks like a wagon parked in a area that has some grass.

"Odd didn't know we had some grass in the Canterlot streets."

>"Oh you'll be surprised, there are some beautiful spots in the city. Small park like areas, maybe I could uhm take you to one sometime."

"Maybe."

>You open the door and put the unconscious mare on her bed and tuck her.

"Nighty night drunkie."

>You walk out and see the guard stand there looking at you. She plays with the ground as you close the door.

>"So... are you up to hang out one of these nights?"

>Night?

"You want to hang out at night?"

>"Yeah, you're up at night as well aren't you?"

"Yeah, are you bat ponies nocturnal?"

>She nods and tells you y=her plan.

>"I'm off this weekend, I can show you some cool spots that are beautiful at night."

>You don't know here intentions but she is guard. She could be all righteous and justice like Batman.

"Sure, why not."

>She gets an excited smile on her face.

>"Yes! Uh I mean uhm I-I'll meet you at the bar when you get out of work."

"Actually I have that night off unless some big mess happens."

>"Don't worry, I'm off that night so there won't be any messes."

>She nervously giggles, you give a small chuckle.

"Alright, see ya."

>"Yeah, I need to finish patrolling."

>She waves and flys away looking cool as she flys in front of the moon reminding you of the bat logo.
