>Sitting in a tree, you watch over all of the land you know as your home.

>It was very quiet and peaceful, you could see for at least a mile, if not more from the tree, standing above the rest in the forest.

>You liked to spend your nights here and just let the troubles of the days wash away.

>A small ranch sat in the distance, many crops growing.

>You could see the ponies heading out for the morning to start their daily work.

>You can see all of them walking out of their bunk houses, like ants out of holes in the ground.

>The wind blows your dark blue hair lightly, making it wave with the breeze.

>Your diamond eyes scanned more of the land, seeing a caravan of ponies walking down a road, leaving dust lingering in the air behind them.

>It seemed weird thinking about how each of these ponies, little ants in your eyes, had lives as complex as yours, and each one different.

>Leaning your head against the tree, you sigh and close your eyes.

>"Hey Night Watch!"

>Your eyes shoot open, looking around to see a bat pony with Amber eyes flying up to you.

"Echo? What are you doing up here?"

>She flies up and sits on the think branch with you, looking out at the land with you.

>"I just wanted to spend some time with my favorite bat, is that so bad?"

>You shrug, pulling her closer to you.

"I guess not. Hey, you wanna have sex up here?"

>Sighing, Echo look at you.

>"You know Night Watch, we don't have to have sex every time we see each other."

>You groan and pull her closer to you, her head laying on your chest as she wraps her forelegs around you.

>"That's a little better."

>Both of you hold each other, watching over everything you can see from the enormous tree as you both drift slowly off to sleep, wrapped up in each others love.
