  1. >Day KBB in Equestria
  2. >Rarity has called you over to deal with a ‘pest problem’
  3. >You tried to say animals were more Fluttershy’s department, but she insisted on you.
  4. >She opens the door as soon as you knock and immediately goes into the helpless maiden routine.
  5. >“Oh Anon, thank goodness you’re here.  I am simply at wits end trying to deal with these dust bunnies!”
  6. “Wait, seriously?  You called me over to help you sweep up some dust bunnies?”
  7. >She pouts up at you, stomping her foot.
  8. >“But An~on, they’re sca~ry!  The very idea that I might soil my hooves dealing with them has kept me up for the past three nights.”
  9. >You sigh and rub the bridge of your nose.
  10. “Fine, I’ll help you.”
  11. >Squee.
  12. “But you’re doing half the work.”
  13. >You can see her deflate.
  14. “And since you called me over, you get to work the broom.”
  15. >Her bones are the only thing holding her up at this point.
  16. >“But, but, I don’t want to sweep.”
  17. “Well I’m not doing all the work.  Besides, the dustpan holder always gets the most dust on them anyway.”
  18. >She brightens a little at that.
  19. >“Too true.  And with the two of us, we can take care of those filthy creatures in half the time.”
  20. “That’s the spirit!  Let’s get started.”
  21. >She gives a curt nod and steps aside, letting you enter.
  22. >As you close the door after you, you see Rarity standing in the center of her store.
  23. >She seems to be staring at the wall.
  24. “Um, Rari-”
  25. >She stomps her hoof once.
  26. >Twice.
  27. >Three times.
  28. >And resumes staring at the wall.
  29. “Rarity, what are you doing?”
  30. >“Hush, Anon.”
  31. >okay.jpg
  32. >You feel a rumbling under the floor.
  33. >A large purple bin lands next to you with a thud.
  34. >A purple broom is levitating next to the unicorn pony.
  35.
  36.
  37. “Rarity, what’s going on?”
  38. >“I told you Anon,”
  39. >From a small hole in the wall, grey clouds begin to roll out.
  40. >They cover half the floor in an instant.
  41. >They’re still rolling out of the hole in the wall.
  42. >“I have a dust bunny problem.”
  43. “No kidding.”
  44. >The flow of bunnies finally settles, thousands of the bastards staring up at you.
  45. >Murderous intent in their sightless white eyes.
  46. >“This is your champion?”
  47. >The sound echoes from every corner of the store.
  48. >A sensation of exactly how ‘boned’ you are fills your body.
  49. >“Indeed.  Anon and I shall rid my wonderful Boutique of you and your filth forever!”
  50. >A deep, throaty laugh.
  51. >You swear the dust bunnies are jumping in time with the laughter.
  52. >“We shall see.  We shall see.”
  53. >The dust bunnies jump and begin to stack on one another.
  54. >Tying their micro-strands of fiber together.
  55. “What, are they doing?”
  56. >“Preparing for battle, of course.  Now listen, Anon.  Make sure that you get every last one.  If even one escapes, they’ll come back.”
  57. >Four dust ponies now stand across from you.
  58. >They stamp their hooves, sending up clouds of dust in the process.
  59. >Rarity snarls.
  60. >“You filthy, filthy things.  Don’t you dare mess up my dresses!”
  61. >Without a second thought, Rarity charges forward, and slams her broom into the flanks of the first dust pony.
  62. >Said pony rockets towards you, being little more than dust and fluff.
  63. >You pull the dust bin up just in time to catch the remains.
  64. >You get a face full of sawdust in the process.
  65. >“Now.”
  66. >Oh dear.
  67. >That grin.
  68. >That almost wild look in her eyes.
  69. >“Which of you pieces of filth is going to try next?”
  70.
  71. >Ten minutes later, you are sweeping what remains of Rarity’s Boutique Battel.
  72. >The victorious champion has decided to take a bath and is currently lounging in her living quarters.
  73. >You could probably use one yourself, being covered in filth.
  74. >Still, Rarity insisted that you sweep up everything before you leave.
  75. >You’ve never been one to skip out on work.
  76. >Plus she did just face down a horde of dust bunnies.
  77. >As you place the dust bin outside, you sigh and scratch the top of your head.
  78. “Man, what a day.”
  79. >As you walk towards home, you fail to see the fluff in your hair free itself and float away on the breeze.
