- >Day KBB in Equestria
- >Rarity has called you over to deal with a ‘pest problem’
- >You tried to say animals were more Fluttershy’s department, but she insisted on you.
- >She opens the door as soon as you knock and immediately goes into the helpless maiden routine.
- >“Oh Anon, thank goodness you’re here. I am simply at wits end trying to deal with these dust bunnies!”
- “Wait, seriously? You called me over to help you sweep up some dust bunnies?”
- >She pouts up at you, stomping her foot.
- >“But An~on, they’re sca~ry! The very idea that I might soil my hooves dealing with them has kept me up for the past three nights.”
- >You sigh and rub the bridge of your nose.
- “Fine, I’ll help you.”
- >Squee.
- “But you’re doing half the work.”
- >You can see her deflate.
- “And since you called me over, you get to work the broom.”
- >Her bones are the only thing holding her up at this point.
- >“But, but, I don’t want to sweep.”
- “Well I’m not doing all the work. Besides, the dustpan holder always gets the most dust on them anyway.”
- >She brightens a little at that.
- >“Too true. And with the two of us, we can take care of those filthy creatures in half the time.”
- “That’s the spirit! Let’s get started.”
- >She gives a curt nod and steps aside, letting you enter.
- >As you close the door after you, you see Rarity standing in the center of her store.
- >She seems to be staring at the wall.
- “Um, Rari-”
- >She stomps her hoof once.
- >Twice.
- >Three times.
- >And resumes staring at the wall.
- “Rarity, what are you doing?”
- >“Hush, Anon.”
- >okay.jpg
- >You feel a rumbling under the floor.
- >A large purple bin lands next to you with a thud.
- >A purple broom is levitating next to the unicorn pony.
- “Rarity, what’s going on?”
- >“I told you Anon,”
- >From a small hole in the wall, grey clouds begin to roll out.
- >They cover half the floor in an instant.
- >They’re still rolling out of the hole in the wall.
- >“I have a dust bunny problem.”
- “No kidding.”
- >The flow of bunnies finally settles, thousands of the bastards staring up at you.
- >Murderous intent in their sightless white eyes.
- >“This is your champion?”
- >The sound echoes from every corner of the store.
- >A sensation of exactly how ‘boned’ you are fills your body.
- >“Indeed. Anon and I shall rid my wonderful Boutique of you and your filth forever!”
- >A deep, throaty laugh.
- >You swear the dust bunnies are jumping in time with the laughter.
- >“We shall see. We shall see.”
- >The dust bunnies jump and begin to stack on one another.
- >Tying their micro-strands of fiber together.
- “What, are they doing?”
- >“Preparing for battle, of course. Now listen, Anon. Make sure that you get every last one. If even one escapes, they’ll come back.”
- >Four dust ponies now stand across from you.
- >They stamp their hooves, sending up clouds of dust in the process.
- >Rarity snarls.
- >“You filthy, filthy things. Don’t you dare mess up my dresses!”
- >Without a second thought, Rarity charges forward, and slams her broom into the flanks of the first dust pony.
- >Said pony rockets towards you, being little more than dust and fluff.
- >You pull the dust bin up just in time to catch the remains.
- >You get a face full of sawdust in the process.
- >“Now.”
- >Oh dear.
- >That grin.
- >That almost wild look in her eyes.
- >“Which of you pieces of filth is going to try next?”
- >Ten minutes later, you are sweeping what remains of Rarity’s Boutique Battel.
- >The victorious champion has decided to take a bath and is currently lounging in her living quarters.
- >You could probably use one yourself, being covered in filth.
- >Still, Rarity insisted that you sweep up everything before you leave.
- >You’ve never been one to skip out on work.
- >Plus she did just face down a horde of dust bunnies.
- >As you place the dust bin outside, you sigh and scratch the top of your head.
- “Man, what a day.”
- >As you walk towards home, you fail to see the fluff in your hair free itself and float away on the breeze.
