  1. >music plays softly, as the flourescent lights overhead flicker
  2. >the smell of disinfectant chokes the air
  3. >you sing as creatures in white labcoats move around
  4. "im the perfect little lab rat
  5. i always do what they say
  6. i make sure to keep quiet
  7. no matter the pain"
  8. >they ignore you as they move tools and such around
  9. "They cut me open
  10. they pull me apart
  11. they rearrange my organs
  12. til they get to my heart"
  13. >one of them makes sure that the straps holding you in place are tight
  14. >your voice gets cut off as you struggle to breath
  15. >but, it losens the straps enough that you can breath again
  16. >you continue to sing
  17. "they poke and they prod
  18. im just another hunk of flesh
  19. all that matters
  20. is the results of the tests"
  21. >one of them puts an oxygen mask over your face and secures it
  22. >you can no longer sing, but the words ring in your head
  23. >"im the perfect little lab rat
  24. >i always do what they say
  25. >i make sure to keep quiet
  26. >no matter the pain"
  27. >they cut open a square on your medical gown at the bottom of your ribcage
  28. >you continue to think the words as you look down to see a scalpel start to cut you open
  29. >the blood wells up from the wound, a dark red hue
  30. >you stare, fascinated, as they make another incision, perpedicular to the first
  31. >they slowly peel back the skin, and the pain finally starts to reach your mind
  32. >but, you dont make a sound
  33. >you dont want to disappoint the doctors
  34. >one reaches in, moving organs out of the way, and up under the ribcage
  35. >he grasps something inside you
  36. >you feel your heart jump in fear
  37. >with an agonizing twist, he slowly pulls out your liver
  38. >a tear runs down your face, and you feel a sob well up in you, but you stifle it. you have to be quiet
  39. >you cant disappoint the doctors
  40. >they hold your liver up to the light, and start examining and prodding it
  41. >one of them cuts a piece off, and puts it under a microscope
  42. >you hope your liver doesnt disappoint them... you wouldnt be able to handle it if it did
  43. >finally, one of them says something in an upbeat voice
  44. >you feel a bit of joy rush through you, temporarily numbing the pain
  45. >they liked your liver!
  46. >the corners of your mouth lift into a smile
  47. >the doctors move over to your head
  48. >your smile fades; did you do something wrong? why arent they examining your liver?
  49. >one of them lifts the oxygen mask off
  50. >you feel a surge of terror rush through you; what was wrong?! how did you fail
  51. >you start to sweat; its cold and clammy
  52. >your body shakes as you feel more sobs welling up in you
  53. >you cant disappoint them! you cant! you cant!!!
  54. >one of them reaches towards your jaw
  55. >you concentrate to stop yourself from shaking
  56. >you feel an appendage press under your jaw
  57. >you hold your breath, trying to be as still as possible
  58. >the appendage moves away
  59. >you quickly take a gasp of air, still trying not to move
  60. >you hear hushed voices
  61. >you feel a bit woozy from the blood loss
  62. >finally, a scalpel descends towards your face
  63. >maybe you didnt disappoint them?!
  64. >you feel a calming sense of happiness flow through you
  65. >the scalpel slices at the hinges of your jaw
  66. >you stifle a whimper
  67. >the scalpel cuts around, under your chin, up over the other side of your jaw, through your cheeks, and back to the initial cut
  68. >a doctor pulls on your jaw, and you feel a crack, then a rush of scorching pain, as your jaw is ripped from your face
  69. >you ball your fists, desperately trying to avoid crying out
  70. >you try to blink away the tears forming at the corners of your eyes, but one escapes, and rolls down the side of your head
  71. >the doctor places your jaw on a table, and the others crowd around
  72. >your tongue flops uselessly, blood pouring from your face onto your neck and chest
  73. >one of them glances idlely at you, then goes and picks up your liver
  74. >the doctors walk out, one holding your liver, the other holding your jaw and a syringe
  75. >you wait a minute, blood gushing from your face
  76. >the doctors arent coming back
  77. >despair crashes down on you, and you start to cry
  78. >a strangled, gurgling sound escapes from your throat
  79. >you disappointed them! you idiot! stupid, stupid, stupid!
  80. >you hit your head on the examination table, the straps preventing you from moving much
  81. >you slam your head onto the metal again and again
  82. >finally, you cant find the strength to lift your head up anymore, and you let your head flop down
  83. >the blood has spilled over, pouring down onto the table and dripping onto the dusty floor
  84. >you feel tired, and darkness starts to close in
  85. >you struggle to stay awake; the doctors might yet come back...
  86. >you choke out a bitter sound
  87. >yeah right. you fucked up. you were not a good specimen
  88. >better to let the darkness take you
  89. >as your eyes close, and life starts to escape your body, the world flickers into static
  90. >your eyes snap open
  91. >what was that?!
  92. >the static surges again, and the straps holding you down are gone
  93. >you cautiously sit up, causing the blood to flow down your body
  94. >you feel slightly aroused, but you push it out of your mind
  95. >what is happening?
  96. >you stand, and nearly collapse as the world spins around you
  97. >some sort of vertigo?
  98. >...
  99. >you wait for the world to stop spinning, then take a hesitant step
  100. >your foot causes ripples to travel through the pool of blood - your blood - on the floor
  101. >the blood is warm and sticky, and tugs on your feet as you take a few more steps
  102. >static flashes again, and the blood is gone
  103. >you notice the cuts on your abdomen have sealed, and your jaw has scabbed over
  104. >what the hell is going on?
  105. >you exit the room, and wander down a hallway
  106. >no sign of the doctors
  107. >you idly wonder where they are
  108. >you take another step, and flinch when pain shoots through your foot
  109. >you peer down and see you are standing on some shards of broken glass
  110. >you glance up to see a broken flourescent light above you
  111. >the static flashes again
  112. >the walls, which were previously a grey-white, have become a dull aquamarine
  113. >you notice splotches of some dark substance on parts of the walls
  114. >huh. wonder what that could be...
  115. >you step around the broken glass, then lift your foot to pick out the shards
  116. >you wince as you dig around inside your foot to get one that has embedded itself particularly deep
  117. >you manage to finally get the shard, and pull it out of your foot to the grating sound of ripping flesh
  118. >blood spurts from the wound, but it starts to pool and clot almost immediately
  119. >you toss the shards of glass aside, and continue walking down the hall, leaving spots of blood behind you
  120. >you reach the end of the hall; it branches off to the left
  121. >you turn down the hallway and continue to walk
  122. >a dull light shines through the window at the end of the hall
  123. >you question why you are still walking... what point is there?
  124. >oh well... you will walk for the sake of walking
  125. >you stumble down the hall as another onset of vertigo spins the world around
  126. >you run your hand along the wall to keep your balance
  127. >the light from the window is blinding, yet it seems... muted, dull...
  128. >the lights overhead flicker
  129. >you finally reach the window, and stare outside
  130. >clouds roil and churn, completely covering the sky
  131. >sunlight cant pass through, and the world is cloaked in a grey, drained light
  132. >the trees are leafless and withered, as if they were deprived of nutrients
  133. >scorch marks and soot are splotched all over the ground
  134. >the parking lot below is empty, not a single vehicle in sight
  135. >you see some burned husks scattered around, inside or near the burn marks
  136. >there are also red lumps you cant quite identify...
  137. >you see a flicker of movement near the edge of a building some ways away, but when you peer closer you see nothing
  138. >the ground is kinda far down... you might be on the 4th or 5th floor...
  139. >you feel your vertigo acting up, and you quickly look away
  140. >what... what happened... where are you...
  141. >there is a massive surge of static, and your vision is consumed by the grey and black
  142. >a piercing sound crashes against your eardrums... it sounds like screaming... but horribly distorted...
  143. >you clutch your head as you feel a sense of dizziness
  144. >you lose all sense of balance, and fall to the ground
  145. >you clutch your head
  146. >why wont it go away?!!
  147. >the static and sounds vanish
  148. >you blink; whats wrong with you?! why is this happening?!
  149. >you stand up tentatively
  150. >you risk another glance outside
  151. >you dont understand... why...?
  152. >...
  153. >huh... you looked out the window, youre not getting any traces of vertigo...
  154. >you stare at the ground, far below
  155. >normally, this would have triggered a wave of dizziness, perhaps nausea
  156. >but... you feel nothing...
  157. >...
  158. >maybe... maybe the static is... fixing...? you??
  159. >it seems like it...
  160. >well... you can dwell on it later
  161. >you  catch a flicker of movement from the corner of your eye
  162. >one of the doctors?!
  163. >oh no! you ran off! you were a bad patient!
  164. >you feel panic and hopelessness well up inside you
  165. >NO! be strong... maybe... maybe if they see how healthy and strong you are, they will think that you are a good lab rat...
  166. >you turn to face the doctor, your eyes downcast like a good submissive lab rat...
  167. >but no one is there...
  168. >that cant be... you saw movement... maybe your mind is playing tricks on you?
  169. >suddenly, you feel a wieght on your back
  170. >you collapse to the ground with an oomf, the air rushing from your lungs
  171. >you twist around...
  172. >and see a hideous creature standing atop you
  173. >from its pale, yellow coat sprout twisted, clawed appendages, in addition to its hooves and wings
  174. >its eyes are dark pits, with a pinprick of teal in the center
  175. >it stares at you with a hungry look
  176. >you scream, and writhe in an attempt to throw the thing off
  177. >the thing flips you over, and digs its appendages into your chest, between the bones of your ribcage
  178. >you wail in pain, as the creature uses the talons sprouting from its stomach to claw off your medical gown
  179. >what the hell is it doing?!
  180. >the creature positions itself so its stomach is over your crotch
  181. >you feel a talon stab into your member, and you cry out in pain
  182. >your member swells, at your body reacts to whatever toxins or bacteria the talon was coated in
  183. >the creature positions itself so you slide into its stomach
  184. >you shriek as the acid starts burning the flesh off your dick
  185. >the creature lets out a moan; it finds this pleasureable?!
  186. >you thrash, but the appendages sunk into your chest prevent you from escaping
  187. >your shrieks get louder as your dick continues to dissolve
  188. "HELP!" sOMETHING, ANYTHING, HELP!!" you scream, even though you know its futile
  189. >the creature moans loudly, and a fluid drips from its eyes and mouth onto your face
  190. >you feel your flesh twist and writhe as the fluid alters the structure of your cells
  191. >suddenly, static overwhelms your senses
  192. "wha-?"
  193. >you look around
  194. >what happened? did... did the static save you?
  195. >a blast of noise echos through your mind
  196. >"RuN!"
  197. >you flinch, but obey the noise
  198. >you get up and start running
  199. >the static vanishes
  200. >the creature is now behind you as you sprint down the hallway
  201. >it looks confused; where did its prey go?
  202. >you glance back, and see it swivel its head up
  203. >you hear something snap; probably a neck bone
  204. >those pinpricks of teal light burn into your soul as the creature stares at you with venomous malice
  205. >it lets out a howl of rage, and starts to pursue you
