- >A vivid hum entangled in a warm sensation entertains your senses as you break into a comforting conscience.
- >You wipe the confusion from your eyes as you begin to observe the scenery; you are blinded by the bright sun’s ray’s assault on your pupils.
- >Forming a visor with your hands you look over the landscape that surrounds you.
- >An arid wasteland of dry cracked earth for as far as the eye can see.
- >Climbing to your feet, you stretch out your limbs and feel a pain in your head from the blood rush that ensued.
- >Taking another glance, you look straight ahead of where you were laying and see 2 small objects moving in the distance.
- >They must not have noticed you yet, as they continue on the same path they were on.
- >Blindly you begin to chase them down.
- >It feels good to run; the dust cloud you kick up begins to fill your nostrils with a dryness that made breathing difficult.
- >The beings begin to take shape as you come closer.
- >It looks as if 2 or 3 4 legged creatures with a coat that glistened in the pungent sun that rained down upon them.
- >The running was beginning to take its toll on you, your breath becoming haggard and labored.
- >A tight pain in your side began to pester you, only hindering your already slowed speed.
- >You are close to the creatures now, the details of their bodies coming into focus.
- >Small holes in their legs cast light through into the shadows their bodies make; a jagged tusk sticking from their skulls and a ribbed body of translucent stature glowing in a verdant color.
- >You can’t run anymore, the pain from your side feels like it’s being twisted inside out.
- >An idea pops into your head. You call out in a gruff voice unrecognized to yourself.
- “HEY”
- >Their heads snap around and they spot you.
- >They all look at each other, then back at you, then back at each other.
- >The largest one in the group starts to approach you.
- >He inspects you head to toe, as you do to him.
- >After the exchange of looks his tusk begins to light up and a ball of light forms on the tip.
- “Whoa-“
- >You fall to the ground and fade back into the darkness you had just awakened from.
- >Several times you wake up only to be hit again, sent into a thoughtless sleep.
- >When you wake up for the 3rd or 4th time, you take notice the sun has gone, and you are entering a cave like structure.
- >They must not have noticed you being awake yet as you kept your eyes partially shut, just open enough to see what was happening through blurry eyelashes.
- >The previous group of 3 had turned into a flurry of too many to count.
- >The green luminescence transformed the dark cave into an eerily warm jade colored domain.
- >Chittering sounds echoed off the walls and collide with your ears sending chills down your spine and raising the hairs on your neck.
- >The further you are dragged into the cave, the stronger the smell gets, it’s a weird smell. Not entirely disgusting, but keeping your nose enticed to figure out what it is.
- >A sharp pain smacks you in the side of the head causing you to gasp in the distasteful air, the sour yet sweet flavor encasing your tongue and filling your lungs.
- >Something about it stirs you deep inside.
- >You feel your muscles flex involuntarily and your eyes are forced open.
- >Ripping your arms from the restraints the creatures had you in, you take a defensive stance.
- >The large creature that had incapacitated you before began to charge his beam of light, but was cut short by a powerful kick right to the tip.
- >It fell over to the ground and its stomachs glow went sporadic.
- >The group of creatures that were with it took immediate notice to it and swarmed on you.
- >You begin flailing your arms, throwing creature after creature into the jagged walls and rocks of this cavern.
- >After dismissing 5 or 6 of the beasts, you are overcome with that smell again, gaining in density and an overwhelming lust raising.
- >As your fist approaches one of the animal’s faces, it is stopped in place by a tingling sensation.
- >it falls limp against your side.
- >You throw the other arm at it, only to result in the same effect.
- >As you go to kick it you are stopped by an allover numbness entangling every fiber of your being.
- >You hit the ground unable to keep yourself up any longer.
- >The residual numbness that was occupying your senses was replaced abruptly as a larger, much more distinguished looking creature came into view.
- >That enticing smell that was previously driving you into the blood lust was back and stronger than ever.
- >You liked the way this feels.
- >It feels as if you could take on the world with ease, and if that little display held any water, you very well could.
- >Your train of thought is cut as the large effeminate creature speaks out to you.
- >The words come, but its lips do not move.
- >It’s as if the thoughts are being poured straight into your thoughts.
- >You see a vision of you standing alongside a legion of those same creatures you were beating senseless not even 5 minutes ago.
- >Well, you assume it’s you. It stands like you and has limbs like you, but you aren’t too sure what you look like.
- >Come to think of it, you can’t recall anything before waking up in that desert.
- >It must be able to read your mind, because the image of the desert is swapped out with you and the creatures on a large field, staring across at another large army of more mammal looking creatures similar to the ones you were roughing up earlier.
- >There is a loud roaring horn sounding off and both sides charge at each other.
- >It fades away as the image melts back into reality.
- >You are coated in a thin green layer of light
- >It’s a warm sensation similar to the sun’s rays.
- >Your limbs have feeling again and you are able to stand up.
- >The large creature that had put you in the trance begins to charge up her jagged tusk.
- >You feel no fear as it blasts at you.
- >Expecting to pass out, you braced for impact, but were relieved when the sensation never came.
- >Instead of the ground, you are met with a relieving feeling, like a great knowledge had been passed onto you.
- >”How does it feel?”
- >You jump back at the noise, so familiar, but distant in tone.
- >”Go ahead, try and speak.”
- “What- who you?”
- >”Excellent, you are learning fast. You shall address me as Quean. I shall dictate your actions and you shall fulfill my will. Do you understand?”
- >You want to say no, but your body forces out a grunt.
- “Yes Queen.”
- >This is frightening. It’s like you aren’t in control of your own body anymore. You want to run, but your body won’t let you.
- “Now, go with your brethren to the hive. You need to rest for your ceremony. The indoctrination shall begin tomorrow.”
- >She turns and leaves.
- >You follow the group of now waking at a steady pace with the rest of the group.
- >The caves walls are adorned with glowing blue sacs and the floors have a thin layer of fluid on them.
- >As you make your way further and further into the cavern a large structure begins to come into shape.
- >A building like nothing you have seen before breaks into detail.
- >Large green and black outcropping s covered in thin dark Fuchsia membranes coat the outside of the structure.
- >Looking around at this monstrosity only brings into focus how large this building is.
- >With all of the moving creatures you are lost in the blur of activity surrounding you.
- >Making your way into the large structure, you pass by several rows of circular hallways, each one ending in no specific way.
- >You follow your group down one of the corridors and into a large room.
- >The room’s walls were adorned with similar blue sacs, these ones looked more crystalline, glowing much mellower, coating the room in an azure glow.
- >Your group breaks off into their beds, leading up to one on the right end.
- >Assuming it’s yours you walk over to it and sit down.
- >The smallest one with you approaches you with something in its mouth.
- >It hands you what looks like a blanket and pulls out a pillow from underneath your cot.
- >It gives what looks like a smile, but it’s hard to tell through the daggers in its mouth.
- >Feeling rather tired you lay down, unfurl the blanket over your limbs, and not to your surprise, only comes to your knees.
- >Your head hits the pillow and your brain powers off.
- >All through your dream you see that same short clip that the Queen had showed you, every time in a different perspective.
- >You never actually get into the fight, it always ends right as the two sides clash.
- >Dreams become less vivid and fade to nothingness.
