  1. >Be Anon
  2. >Be in College.
  3. >You spend a lot of time on your computer, just making things, browsing /mlp/ and other shit.
  4. >You’re also a computer science major, which puts your face in the computer screen even more than some of the other autists out there
  5. > You look down at your computer and notice that class is over soon so you start packing up
  6. >”…the project will be due next week Friday, so have it ready to turn in by the time class starts.”
  7. >Oh shit
  8. >You weren’t paying attention and she assigned something
  9. >You look up to see Professor Cheerilee dismiss the class and turn to gather her things.
  10. >You try ask her a question but she has already gathered her things and stepped out of class
  11. >You get to see her firm ass and flowing pinkish white hair as she leaves.
  12. >Damn.
  13. >You finish packing up, which takes a while.
  14. >By the time you’ve finished she’s gone.
  15. >You sigh and head off to your next class
  16. >As you walk down the halls you begin to hear a conversation.
  17. “…I know you said that this project was supposed to be in partners but do we have to work in partners?”
  18. “Yes you do Ms. Sparkle. I want the students in the class to have the experience needed that you can only get while working in groups.”
  19. >You turn the corner and see Professor Cheerilee talking to another student.
  20. >You look up from the ground and notice her ass is even more firm than Cheeliee and you know for a fact that Cheerilee runs everyday
  21. “But I work much better on my own. Please Ms. Cheerilee?” The girl asks as she twirls purplish pink hair in her cream colored hand.
  22. “I’m sorry Twilight but I’m afraid you’re going to have to work with your partner” she says looking up from Twilight to see you.
  23. “Here he is now” she says pointing to you
  24. >Twilight turns to you and gives a small friendly wave
  25. >She’s god tier. 9000/10
  26. >Cheelrilee clears her throat
  27.
  28. “I’m going to leave you two to discuss the project, have fun.”
  29. >With that she turns and leaves you with Twilight.
  30. >You stand there with her for a couple awkward second before deciding to speak.
  31. “Hi my name’s-“
  32. “I’m Twilight-”
  33. >You stop talking and so does she.
  34. >You pause to allow her to finish, but when she doesn’t you start again
  35. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to inter-“
  36. “Excuse me-“
  37. >This time you both smile, and she lets out a cute laugh. You gesture for her to go first.
  38. “I’m Twilight Sparkle. And you?”
  39. “My names Anonymous, but most of my friends call me Anon. So whichever you prefer”
  40. >She nods her head, as if storing that information in some great library in her head.
  41. >Clearing your throat you say to her,
  42. “I’ll be honest, I wasn’t really paying attention in class today, so I’m not exactly sure what this project is even about.”
  43. >Twilight gives a small frown at this.
  44. “Oh. Well Ms. Cheerilee wanted us to create a small business. It had to have a way to receive income and outcome. “she says twirling her hair.
  45. “Oh ok, that doesn’t seem like that’d be too hard. We can definitely get that done by next Friday.” You say with a smile. She stops twirling her hair.
  46. “Well actually… I was kind of hoping that maybe we could do our own things… I really work best on my own.” She says to you, without the slightest hint of remorse.
  47. >You’re just a little stunned at her remark, how easily she can burn off somebody without seeming to care.
  48. “Well anyways, see you around” She says before as she begins to walk away.
  49. >You shake your head and head off to your next class.
  50.
  51. >You open the door to your dorm room
  52. >Normally you’d be paired with a roommate, but for some lucky reason you had managed to get a room to yourself
  53. >So you have a double wide bed just for yourself, and an extra-long desk.
  54. >You set your stuff down and pull out your laptop, getting set up just the way you like.
  55. >Your mind wanders through to the purple haired girl
  56. >She was quite beautiful, but the way she blew you off and told you to do the project on your own was rude as hell
  57. >You open up your laptop screen and put your chin in your hands thinking
  58. >Your both likely to get horrible grades if you don’t work together
  59. >But it doesn’t seem like she wants to work with ANYONE.
  60. >Shaking your head you turn on your laptop and stare into the black screen.
  61. >But it doesn’t show up black, in fact it shows up a shade of….
  62. >Oh Jesus titfucking Christ
  63. >Your heart drops as your laptop gives you the dreaded blue screen of death
  64. >You can only sit there and watch as your laptop commits suicide in front of you, the software running before the screen turns off and your laptop goes kaput
  65. >You sit there in shock; the only thing you love in this world lies dead in front of you.
  66. >After a bit you try turning it back on again, but to no avail
  67. >wellshit.jpg
  68. >You flip it over and try your best to save your computer, but you know you’re fucked
  69. >Sighing you pop out the hard drive and the battery and sit back
  70. >Looks like you’re gonna have to go to the library.
  71. >You grab your backpack and head to the school library, cursing your bad luck
  72. >You walk up to the counter where a teenager with spikey green hair sits.
  73. “Can I see your school i.d?” he says in a cheery sort of way.
  74. >You pull out your id and show it to him. He flashes you a big smile and you go on your way to the nearest computer.
  75. >You boot it up with Fedora and wait for everything to load
  76.
  77. >These computers are slower than your recently deceased laptop
  78. >You groan and stretch looking around.
  79. >You notice that purple haired girl sitting at a desk with a pile of books that’s almost taller than her
  80. >Her hairs frazzled and her heads in her hand, her whole body gives the general impression of being stressed out.
  81. >She looks up at you and gives a small smile and wave
  82. >You smile back and start programming for the project.
  83. >After a while you start getting thirsty and you lean back.
  84. >You admire the program you created, which is a basic accounting program. Its able to take in the amount of employees you have and calculate their pay and taxes amongst other things.
  85. >You get up to go get a drink and notice that Twilight was looking over at your computer.
  86. >You come back and see that Twilight’s looking at your code
  87. “Hey!” you say a little defensive of your work
  88. >She jumps startled and grows pale, which even though she’s in this stressed and scared state, she is still quite beautiful
  89. “Oh.. im so sorry, I didn’t mean to peak… it’s just”
  90. “Did you do anything to my code?!?” You ask, having been the subject to malicious students and hackers.
  91. >You push her aside and take a look at your code as she tries to apologize
  92. >You sigh seeing that she hasn’t messed anything up. You turn to her a little less angry.
  93. “Why were you looking at my code?” You ask.
  94. >She blushes a little embarrassed.
  95. “Well I’ve been…. I’ve been having trouble getting the accounting part done on the project…. And I noticed you were coding… and well” She sighs
  96. “I needed some help so I looked to see what you were doing. You don’t have to worry about me copying though, I don’t know anything about programming.”
  97. >She looks genuinely pained to even admit that she didn’t know something, let alone to ask for help.
  98. “So can you please help me?” she asks
  99.
  100.
  101. >You look at her skeptically.
  102. “Why should I help you? I thought you worked better alone?”
  103. >She blushes, and you smirk a little.
  104. >”Well... I did… and I do… well I mean I usually do… there’s not much I don’t know... but you seem to…”
  105. >She hesitates before finishing the last bit.
  106. >”You seem to know more than me.”
  107. >Again you see the pained look on her eye.
  108. >You take a moment to think. You really don’t need her help, having what you know of the project done
  109. >But that was the catch
  110. >You only have done the part of the project that she mentioned in passing, for all you know you could only have 10% of the project done. You could wait tilt the next class
  111. >But the schools going on holiday that day.
  112. >fuckingmondays.jpeg
  113. >You need her just as much as she needs you
  114. “So tell me about the project.”
  115. >”You really weren’t paying attention in class were you?”
  116. >She twirls her hair in her fingers “Well you’ve already created the payroll software, which I was just going to do by hand… but we’re also supposed to know what the small business sells or does, and have a sample, in either a diagram or a physical copy, we also need to know if we’re renting or owning a building, our target consumer, and expense reports.”
  117. >You nod and wonder how in the world you missed all of that information in class.
  118. “Ok, I can do some of that. Partners then?” you say extending your hand
  119. >She smiles almost relieved that you said you’d help her; you probably just saved her hours of pen and paper math as well as other things.
  120. >”Yeah, partners.” She says taking your hands in a hand shake. Her hands are so soft, almost as if the hardest thing they’ve touched is paper or cracked leather.
  121. >You hesitate to let go of her hand, but you let go so as to not make it awkward that you’re holding the hand of some girl you barely know
  122.
  123. >Your stomach growls, and looking at your watch, you notice that you’ve been coding for a solid 4 hours, and she’s been studying for that long.
  124. >She must be dedicated to her schooling, cause fuck shit damn that’s a long time to be reading books
  125. “I’m hungry. I’m gonna go to the cafeteria to catch some dinner. Did you wanna come with me?”
  126. >She frowns a little and blushes slightly.
  127. >”Are you asking me out on a date?”
  128. >wat.jpeg
  129. “Um… what?” you say a little startled at her question.
  130. >”Are you asking me out on a date? I’m assuming you are cause this seems like what I’ve read about in books. I meant I wouldn’t actually know for sure, because no one’s ever really asked me….” She says twirling her hair blushing even more.
  131. >Oh
  132. ”Um no. I just thought you’d like to discuss the project is all”
  133. >”Oh...” she blushes at this and looks a little hurt
  134. “Not that you’re not pretty, it’s just that’s not what I meant” She offers a small smile at the light compliment and you begin packing up your stuff and saving your code.
  135. >She looks over your shoulder.
  136. >”So how is coding anyway?”
  137. >You cock your head.
  138. “It’s fun, but very time consuming. A lot of math and stuff but you can create a lot of things”
  139. >”Like accounting software?” she says with a hint of, teasing?
  140. >You chuckle.
  141. “Yeah that’s what usually gets made with coding, but you can make some pretty great stuff.”
  142. >”Such as?”
  143. Puffing out your chest with some pride. “Well me and my friends made this relatively simple video game”
  144. >”I don’t really play video games.”
  145. “Really? They’re great.” you turn to her “shall we go?”
  146. >She nods and you exit the library.
  147. >”Goodbye Spike” she says waving at the receptionist
  148. >he looks up to give a wave and notices you’re walking beside her, and gives you a dirty look.
  149. >whatever.
  150. >You open the doors to the library for her and the two of you head off to the cafeteria.
  151.
  152. >She’s relatively quiet as she walks and she looks around to admire the scenery.
  153. >You look at her and notice she has a pretty good sized chest which is accentuated by the tight cashmere sweater she’s wearing.
  154. >Her hair is actually quite long and reaches down to her hip which accentuates that again firm ass, and nice legs.
  155. >You look away and say “So twilight.”
  156. >”Mhmm?”
  157. “What do you do for fun?”
  158. >She takes a moment to think about it.
  159. >”Well I enjoy my studies, so I spend a lot of time making sure my homework is absolutely perfect.”
  160. >You smile at the nerdiness. I mean, there are perfectionists, but to ENJOY spending the time it takes to make sure everything is perfect.
  161. “What’s you’re major?” you say as you open the door to the cafeteria for her.
  162. >”I haven’t decided yet.”
  163. “Really? I thought someone like you would have a plan.” You say grabbing your tray.
  164. >”Well its just… I want to know EVERYTHING”
  165. >You look at her when she says this and she seems to have a sort of sparkle in her eye.
  166. >From anyone else that would sound impossible, but when she says it, it almost seems do-able.
  167. >The two of you gather your food and head off to the table in relative silence.
  168. “So besides being a huge bookworm, do you do anything else for fun?”
  169. >She blushes at the joke.
  170. >”I enjoy reading a good book. Sometimes when I have the time I watch television, other than that I’m really to busy to have fun.”
  171. >You nod and go to your food.
  172. >”And you Anon?”
  173. >You swallow the bite of your food.
  174. “And me what?”
  175. >”What do you do for fun?”
  176. >You take a minute to chew and sip your drink.
  177. “Well I like reading too, but since college I haven’t really had the time. I code A LOT.”
  178. >”What did you say your major was going to be?”
  179. “I’m a Computer Science major.”
  180. >She frowns a little but then giggles the cutest giggle you’ve ever heard.
  181.
  182. >”To be honest I’ve never been interested in computers. Or video games for that matter.”
  183. >You shrug, even though it hurts you to hear that.
  184. “Hey everyone has something they’re passionate about, and for me it’s computers and video games. Maybe one day I can show you what makes them so great”
  185. >She smiles.
  186. >”If I can fit it in.”
  187. >The rest of the diner conversation revolves around the project. You both decide what you should do and agree to meet up tomorrow for lunch.
  188. >Twilight turns to leave when you realize something.
  189. ”Where am I supposed to meet you?”
  190. >Twilight turns back.
  191. >”Well I practically live in the library”
  192.
  193. >You go to the computer center after dinner and borrow a laptop so you can do some coding in the privacy of your dorm.
  194. >On your way there you think about Twilight.
  195. >She’s really not that bad of a girl once you get to know her. She seems like she doesn’t have many friends, and certainly has never had a boyfriend.
  196. >You shake your head at the thought of relationships. You’re already busy enough worrying about yourself, how can you possibly handle both school and a girlfriend.
  197. >Besides, it’s not like your some sort of beta fag, but you ain’t no alpha either.
  198. >You walk into the Computer Center and get a laptop that you can put your hard drive in and head back to the dorm.
  199. >Your thoughts continue to revolve around you and you don’t notice running into someone
  200. “Shit, I’m sorry” you look up to see who you ran into and notice it’s that librarian
  201. >He gives you a dirty look then smiles
  202. >”Hey. No worries man, I shouldn’t have been rushing.” He brushes off his coat and readjusts his things.
  203. “Sorry again… Spike right?”
  204. >”Yeah man. Hey I saw you with Twilight earlier.” He runs a hand through his hair.
  205. “Oh yeah.”
  206. >”Listen man, just so you know, she’s taken.” He moves so your face is close to his.
  207. >”So back off okay? She doesn’t need idiots with boners bothering her to make their grades better alright?”
  208. >His anger is obvious, he seems ready to fight, and as much as this guy is an asshole, it’s not worth the fight.
  209. “Hey man chill… we’re just working on a project.” You say pushing him off you so he’d backed up.
  210. >”Hmph. Well as long as you don’t make a move on my girl.”
  211. >With that he walks off.
  212. >What a fucken douchebag.
  213. >Still it jumbles your thoughts. How could Twilight be with such a douche bag?
  214. >How could she be with anybody is the better question. Didn’t she say no one had asked her out?
  215. >You open the door to your dorm, your thoughts a mess.
  216.
  217. >Why are you thinking so much about Twilight? It’s not like you have feelings for her right?
  218. >Right?
  219. >Turning away from those thoughts you begin setting up the computer, taking out their hard drive and putting in your own.
  220. >You boot it up and begin installing your preferences, making it almost as good as your recently deceased laptop
  221. >As soon as it’s ready you pull up a file you’ve been working on, hoping it hasn’t been corrupted
  222. >Fortunately for you it hasn’t and you pull it up and make sure it runs correctly, plugging in your gamepad.
  223. >The game runs perfectly, but the last bit always bothers you. It never feels real enough, no matter how many times you play it, recode it, and play it again.
  224. >Then again, nothing has felt the same since her….
  225. >You sit back as your game finishes, thinking about the sordid ordeal with the girl from your past.
  226. >It’s the typical high school drams stuff, guy meets girl, and they develop feelings, all the mushy gooshy crap that romantic movies are made of.
  227. >She was beautiful too, almost way out of your league, but she was relatively kind, with her flowing purple hair, skin as white as milk.
  228. >Her being with someone like you was truly a Rarity.
  229. >She was truly a woman, always in a dress, afraid to get dirty, her greatest passion was fashion, be it wearing or making.
  230. >How did she ever enjoy the same things you did.
  231. >Cupping your face in your hands, you know the answer.
  232. >She never did.
  233. >She played you, and as beta as it is to admit it, you fell for it. And you fell hard.
  234. >Even though the relationship was short, you had managed to fall in love with the girl, and because it was your first love, it still haunts you to this day.
  235. >Everything about her is burned into your brain. You haven’t had a single dream you can remember since she called you a chronic masturbating, lonely computer geek.
  236. >You cried like a bitch that day.
  237.
  238. >You removed yourself from the friends you had made while with her, and sunk even further into the computer world you had created. 4chan, My Little Pony, and video games were your escape from the pain.
  239. >But you did well young padawan, and you graduated from high school with honors, and got into a kick ass college.
  240. >You want to make video games, so people can feel the way they made you feel, whole, and not like you’re some chronic masturbating lonely faggot.
  241. >You lied when you told twilight that you and a few friends made a simple game.’
  242. >It was just you, and it’s anything but simple.
  243. >Its beautiful, and the story it tells is better than anything you can imagine
  244. >But the last part feels so fake
  245. >Cause of her.
  246. >You shake off your slump and look at what Twilight asked you to do for the project.
  247. >She must be really impressed with your coding skills, because she asked you to handle all the parts of the project that require coding, while she handles everything else. This was fine by you, because you could probably get it all done tonight.
  248. >You set to work.
  249. >You compile your code and look over to the clock.
  250. >To your surprise its almost 2 in the morning.
  251. >You make sure your code runs and turn in for the night.
  252. >You lay in the double wide bed staring at the ceiling.
  253. >Tomorrow you go eat breakfast with Twilight, and show her what parts of the project you’ve done.
  254. >But your thoughts are concerned more about her than the project.
  255. >You think of her luscious deep purple and pink hair, here cream silky skin
  256. >datass.jpeg
  257. >But more than that you think of her personality.
  258. >The cute way she giggles, how even though she’s a huge bookworm you can’t help but find that adorable.
  259. >The way she twirls her hair.
  260. >Hell even the way it pains her not to know everything is cute in its own way.
  261. >Yawning, you smile.
  262. >”I want to know EVERYTHING”
  263. >She’s ambitious.
  264. >You fall asleep to the image of the violet-rose haired girl, her face in a book.
  265. >You wake up and yawn.
  266.
  267. >The day looked truly wonderful.
  268. >Heading into the library you notice with some relief that Spike isn’t working this morning
  269. >You look for the biggest pile of books and sure enough behind the biggest one of them all is Twilight, studying away.
  270. >She doesn’t even look all that frazzled this time, apparently being in her element without having to deal with the stuff you worked on.
  271. “Hey Twilight”
  272. >She holds up a finger and finishes the sentence she was on then looks up at you, and at seeing that it’s you smiles.
  273. >”Hey Anon, just doing some last minute studying before breakfast. How’d you sleep?”
  274. “I slept pretty well actually. You ready to go grab some breakfast?”
  275. >”Sure” She carefully marks her spot in her book and gets up following you to the cafeteria.
  276. >You walk along the sidewalk when Twilight asks “So how much of the project did you get finished last night?”
  277. “Oh I got everything that you wanted me to do done.”
  278. >Her eyes go wide.
  279. >“Wow. Thanks Anonymous, that really helps out a lot.” She splits off to get her food and you smile to yourself. The two of you meet up again and sit down to eat.
  280. >”Thank god it’s Saturday huh? What are you planning on doing today?”
  281. >You forgot that yesterday was Friday. Wow, you spent most of your Friday night alone and on the computer.
  282. >Its official, you’re dying alone.
  283. “I really don’t have any plans.” You admit sheepishly. You wonder which of the two of you the bigger nerd is.
  284. >At this she perks up a little, but then twirls her hair.
  285. >”So since you don’t have any plans… if you want too… I mean you don’t have too… but I’d most certainly like you too, but don’t feel pressured that you have to just because I want you to… “
  286. “Come out with it Twilight”
  287. >She blushes a deep crimson
  288. >”Wouldyouliketohangoutwithmetoday?”
  289. “Huh?”
  290. >She takes a couple deep breaths.
  291. >”Would you like to hang out with me today Anon? If that’s alright with you.”
