- >Octavia starts practice for the Grand Galloping Gala today
- >It's another 2 months off but preparations have been going since Autumn
- >You've got another hour before work
- >But, you might as well get up and see your special somep0ny off...
- >You roll out of bed and go into the kitchen
- >Octavia is making coffee
- >”You want a cup?”
- Sure, that'd be great
- >She pours you some coffee and sets about getting her cello out of the living room
- >”I've gotta go. Have a good day, Anon.”
- >She plants a kiss on your cheek and heads out the door
- >You sit back in your chair sipping your coffee
- >It's been four months since the episode with Crystalbright

- >But she came back, and while there's still that hint of tension, everything is back to normal

- Morning, Garnet, what's got you so excited?
- >”Oh, nothing, it's not that big a deal, just I got five tickets to the GALA!”
- >She whips out five gold-leafed tickets
- >The smile she's sporting looks like it's about to crack her head in half
- That's- how did you get those?
- >”Trade secret”
- >She winks and taps her nose
- >You laugh
- Alright, that's awesome though, Garnet. Who are you bringing?
- >”Duh, is that even a question? You, me, Crystal, Aquamarine, and Sapphire”
- >Sweet, now you can see Octavia play at the Gala
- >And she said she's only playing for half of the evening
- >So you get to go to the Gala with her too
- Thanks, Garnet, it'll be great
