  4.
  5.         Take some time to orient yourself in a way you find to be most comfortable. You may want to lay down, and perhaps even close your eyes, however, comfort is key, and any position you inevitably choose should work just fine, as you alone know what comforts you most. It may be wise to pause the recording while you do this.
  6.
  7.         Now that you've relaxed yourself, I'd like to ask that you listen quietly to the sound of my voice so that I might help you to unwind even further. You will surely hear other sounds too, emanating from both yourself and the surrounding environment, but these will only serve to aid. Such sounds may include your heart, beating along with each breath you take. Try slowing down your breathing, so that it becomes steadier, and drawn out. It might help to alternate using your mouth to take long, deep breaths, to letting all of the air escape from your body through your nose. Feel your lungs as they fill with oxygen, causing your chest to push up, then down, then up, and back down again. As your heart continues to beat, you may notice it beginning to slow as well, changing pace in order to synchronize with your now even intake of air. And as your heart does this, you will find yourself becoming very relaxed, allowing any tension, stress or anxiety that had existed up until now to simply drift away, causing your body to feel significantly lighter than it did before.
  8.
  9.         I'd like you to take notice, now, of your body in it's entirety. Notice your toes and legs, your torso, your arms and fingers, and, finally, your head. Feel your entire body, present now, as you attempt to seek out any remaining tension that may be weighing you down. Once you have managed to located it, let it go. This is your time to settle down, and in order to do so, you must release any of the anxieties lying in your path.
  10.
  11.         As you let the last of your worries drift away, you might feel as though you are the most relaxed now as you can ever recall yourself being. However, what if I were to tell you that it is, in fact, possible for you to relax even further still? In order to achieve this, I will count down from five, and with each number you will find yourself entering a state of rest and relaxation beyond what you have ever previously experienced or imagined.
  12.
  13.         Five. You feel as calm and rested as you believe you can be.
  14.
  15.         Four. You begin to notice yourself becoming even more relaxed, a feat you did not previously think of as possible.
  16.
  17.         Three. As your mind and body begins to further unwind, you are overjoyed by this feeling of immense, ever-growing relaxation.
  18.
  19.         Two. Now almost as calm as you ever have been, you feel the final stages of relaxation begin to commence. You are nearly there.
  20.
  21.         One. Feeling immense relaxation flowing smoothly throughout your psyche, you now realize that you have just reached the zenith of tranquillity.
