  1. A while back, I saved Anon Alighieri's Alexandria stories to keep me entertained on my trip from my old home to my new one.  Since Aligheri has deleted all of his stories, I will repost all that I have saved from his Alexandria stories.  I find this, however, to be a more satisfying conclusion, as the last two leave off on an arc that was never finished.  Anyway, here it is, for your reading pleasure:
  2.
  3. Chapter 1: Get the fuck to school [AAA001]
  4. ------
  5. "GET UP YOU'RE GONNA BE LATE FOR SCHOOL AGAIN"
  6. >"Do I hav-" the young filly mumbled
  7. "IF I KNEW THE YEAR THIS WAS, ID TELL YOU THE YEAR AND THEN TELL YOU I SERIOUSLY HOPE YOU DON'T DO THIS. BUT I DON'T, SO GET UP AND GET READY"
  8. >The young pony stayed in bed
  9. >"I am not going to do what he tells me...he's not my dad" the filly muttered
  10. >5 minutes passed as she returned to sleeping when the door busted open
  11. "Okay, I tried yelling, but thats not getting you up, look need to get ready, school starts in 45 minutes"
  12. >The pony tried to ignore him
  13. "I don't understand what the problem is, but we can talk about it af-"
  14. >"Your not my dad, you don't control me" the pony snored out
  15. >Anon, seeing that the extra mouth he was feeding was giving him sass, carefully pinched the back of the pony's neck and lifted her from her bed
  16. "I don't know whats gotten into you, but last I checked, it was required by law that you go to school, so if your gonna get mad at me over that, you are barking up the wrong tree"
  17. >The pony, blinking, stuck her tongue out at Anon
  18. >Thinking heard as to why he should even care, he finaly found somthing
  19. "Congratulations, I found a single Fuck, it's my gift to you"
  20. >"Whats a 'Fu-"" the pony was about to ask until he rushed her to the bathroom
  21. >Grabbing the toothpaste, he squeezed it onto the toothbrush and forced it in her mouth
  22. "Normally I'd trust you to take your own bath, but we have nether the time or will to deal with your resistance...Drink"
  23. >Anon showed her a glass of water for her to rinse out her mouth
  24. >Realizing that the minor stinging of the toothpaste might get annoying, she drank and spit it out
  25.
  26. >Still with the filly's scruff pinched in his hand, he went down stairs, he grabbed her breakfast lettuce sandwich and marched out the door
  27. "Here's the deal, you eat right now as I get you to class or you wait until the teacher provides you with lunch"
  28. >Normally he would let her walk to class, seeing that he might embarrass her being the only human here, but this morning he was going to make sure of it
  29. > Realizing that she was overpowered, she bit from the sandwich he was holding in front of her as he walked her to her school.
  30. >Upon arriving at the school, he saw a few the other locals, most who shot him weird looks, mostly because a bipedal ape was taking care of one of their own....
  31. but right now he did not care, he had work to get done and a adopted daughter who was getting pissy with him
  32. >Dropping her in front of the school, she finished her sandwich
  33. "Ill be back when schools out to pick you up"
  34. >"Why can't I walk home? You always let me walk home"
  35. "Because if your angry enough at me to ignore me asking you to get out of bed, then you're probably angry enough at me to just not come home at all"
  36. >"It's not my real home anyways"
  37. "Look, we can argue the definition of home after you finish school, hell ask the teacher what the definition means, then you might be able to argue on even terms with me"
  38. >"What's 'hel-"
  39. "Pony hell is a real place and you will be sent there at the first sign of resistance, now go to class"
  40.
  41. >Hours had passed, school was about out when Anon arrived
  42. >Seeing the little Filly with her friend, he gave her a look, she knew that she needed to come with him now
  43. >After saying farewell, they started walking home
  44. >Silence was the big chunk of the walk, until the filly could not stand it and started to try and erode him
  45. >"They say you eat flesh" the filly muttered
  46. "Yeah, won't lie about that"
  47. >"My class mates say that your just keeping me around to plump me up and eat me"
  48. "I don't eat horse, or pony, and before you ask, I don't eat donkey or mule ether"
  49. >The conversation returned to silence...it was unsettling for her, she tried something else to get his goat
  50. >"I hate you" she muttered
  51. "Go ahead, hate me, nothing I can really do about it"
  52. >She could not stand this passive aggressive attitude of his any more
  53. >"I HATE YOU BECAUSE YOUR NOT A PONY, I HATE YOU BECAUSE YOUR NOT NORMAL, I HATE YOU BECAUSE THAT MAKES ME NOT NORMAL, THEY TEASE ME ABOUT BEING THE ADOPTED DAUGHTER OF A MONSTER, A CANNIBAL WHO WOULD THINK OF NOTHING TO EAT THE ENTIRE TOWN" she was in tears now
  54. >He stopped, looked down on her, and picked her up gently
  55. "Sweetie, if I wanted to eat all of Ponyville, I would have done it a long...long time ago"
  56. >She was in tears and he did not know how to comfort her
  57. "Look...how about we get you something from Sugercube corner... it might help"
  58. >With her in his arms he made a Uturn heading straight back to Ponyville
  59.
  60. >She was sleepy after eating all that ice cream
  61. >Anon carried her home, letting her rest
  62. >He knew that junk food was not enough to enforce that he cared for her, but for now it was enough to show that he was trying to understand what she was going through
  63. >She moved around in his arms, trying to get more comfortable
  64. >"I still hate you" she mumbled while going to sleep
  65. >Hearing that only reminded him of the times he told that to his mom, his mom would just ignore it
  66. >But the truth is that maybe he needed to see about giving her to another family if this was really hurting her
  67. -
  68. >She he saw her on that road years ago, he took pity, she looked lost and was crying that her mom left her there
  69. >So he stayed with her
  70. >8 hours had passed and no sign, so he took her to the local police
  71. >Days later the police came by to tell me that her mom or dad had not picked her up yet, and that she was going to be put up for adoption
  72. >A little later I came by to just see if she was alright
  73. >She was in tears, but she seemed some what happy to see him
  74. >It was enough for him to request that he gain custody over her and had been taking care of her ever since
  75. -
  76. >He tucked her in and started shutting the house down. Tomorrow was Saturday, so he would have enough time to talk to her about what she really wanted, but right now, he needed sleep
  77.
  78. --
  79. >"GET UP" you heard a sharp sequel
  80. >Before you are fully conscious you feel sharp hooves jumping up and down on your stomach
  81. >"I WANT BREAK-" the filly was shouting before you final grabbed her from her jumping
  82. "Having a little fun at my expense eh?"
  83. >"I'm hungry" she looks you straight in the eye
  84. >She was feeling better obviously, if she was pissed she would just ignore you, she was feeling better but you were still drowsy as fuck
  85. "Okay leave the room while I get dressed"
  86. >"Why do humans get dressed?"
  87. "No fur"
  88. >You use that rather then cite social stigma against being naked in public, you might explain later when shes older but right now, you would rather not have her around while you change
  89. "Leave"
  90. >She leaves and you close the door
  91. =
  92. >You grab some flowers from the fridge and some bacon
  93. >She always hated the smell of meat cooking, I don't blame her but I swear to god, I am going to have my fucking bacon, it took time to hunt the Wild Hogs, and then field dress it, and THEN butcher it. And after yesterday, you needed your bacon.
  94. >You were not even sure what her deal was this morning, but you got her breakfast of flowers and apples was gonna finish alot sooner then yours of bacon and eggs
  95. "Did you get any homework?"
  96. >"No"
  97. "If I stop be Miss. Cheerilee's and ask, and she tells me, Im going to have you cleaning the house for the rest of the weekend, so let me ask again, did you get any Homework."
  98. >You can see the gears turning...these Ponies were no good at lying... she was taking too long to construct the background needed in case I pressed on
  99. >"Nope" she said, and then diving into breakfast
  100. -
  101. >It was Midday and you had to go into town to pick up a few construction supplies
  102. >Stopping by Miss.Cheerilee's, you were going to make good on your promise
  103. >Knocking, you could hear telling you to wait a second
  104. >She opened the door and looked up, backing up slighty
  105. >You could see a flash of fear in her eyes
  106. >Jesus you can't interact with ANYONE in this community normally
  107. >Except for Derpy
  108. >Derpy had no fear of you, perhaps because she gave letters to creatures obviously far more dangerous then you
  109. >Memo to Self: Give Derpy a "Thanks for not treating me like a pariah Muffin"
  110. "Hello Cheerilee, I need to know if my da-, adopted daughter was given any homework"
  111. >You were careful not to stright up call her your daughter in front of other members of the pony species...it might be misconstrued for something else, although you don't know what
  112. >"Oh yes um..." Cheerilee could barely look you in the eye
  113. >"She has a one page report on her parents, like everyone else in class due" she said avoiding your eyes
  114. >A flash of violence crossed your mind, you wanted to grab her head and force her to look you in the eye
  115. >Violence won't win over these ponies
  116. "Thank you Ma'am"
  117. >You leave to hit the store and returned home
  118. >Now you know what the issue is, she ether doesn't know if she wants to write about me, her biological parents, or she is embarrassed to write about a human
  119. >Returning home you were going to forgo the threatened punishment in lieu of the facts
  120. >She young and dose not know how she wants to approach this assignment
  121. -
  122. >You returned home to find something wrong
  123. >Your daughter was gone
  124. >Your daughter was gone
  125. >Your daughter was gone
  126. >Everything in your mind locked up
  127. >You ripped though the house, looking for anything
  128. >You always thought it was retarded how a parent's higher logic functions was locked up when their child was in danger
  129. >You now joined the ranks of horrified, worried caregivers who who who....
  130. >Your mind was on a loop
  131. >Find your daughter, if not find evidence of where she went, if not find help
  132. >Help
  133. >help
  134. >If you ask for help, surly they will come and tak-
  135. >Oh god.... you thought you always kept enough emotional distance from her so that if her parents or the community came to take her from you, you could do so without much emotional repercussion.
  136. >You failed
  137. >Running outside you screamed her name
  138. "ALEXANDRIA!!"
  139. >You gave her that name since ponies receive their name much later in life then humans
  140. >She said that the others made fun of her for it....they had names that were two verbs or two nouns or some tangent of them
  141. >Not Alexandria, noo you gave her a name that reflected the boldness she had in symmetry to Alexander the great...
  142. >And now shes gone
  143. >Your little Alexandria
  144. >gone
  145.
  146. >Looking around on the ground, you tried to find fresh hoofprints
  147. >Found em, clear even under the light of the full moon
  148. >They lead into the Everfree Forest
  149. >Thats where she said her parents went while she was waiting on the side of the road
  150. >Hunting in the Everfree forest was safe if you could hide yourself well
  151. >She's not a hunter, none of the ponies are
  152. >Running inside you grab your Bow and Arrows, along with your knife
  153. >Heading back outside, you make a bline for the Forest, tracking her hoofprints
  154. ...
  155. >Your guessed it was about midnight when you found her
  156. >You could hear a soft crying and recognized it as hers
  157. >However...the forest had strange things, you still had your bow at the ready
  158. "Alexandria?"
  159. >"ANON!" you heard her cry, followed with the tapping of hooves of her trying to get closer
  160. "Stay where you are, I'll come to you"
  161. >"How will you find me?"
  162. "I think I got your general direction, just hide and wait"
  163. >Heading the direction you heard her from, you finally found her underneath the large roots of a tree, hiding and shivering from the cold
  164. >Getting down to her level you put your hand on her head, glad to see her
  165. >"Anon I was so scared I was looking for mom and dad and I got lost a-" you interrupted her
  166. "There's time enough to talk later, right now we need to get you out of h-" which in turn you were interrupted by a large thundering in the forest
  167. "Stay hidden and shut up"
  168. >Before she could confirm that she understood, you climbed the tree, trying to get a better view of what was coming
  169. >Manticores
  170. >Three of them
  171. >Headed straight here
  172. >You draw you arrow and prepare for the possible fight ahead
  173. >Manicores ignore the scent of Humans
  174. >They don't actively hunt for things that don't exist in their natural biosphere
  175. >Ponies on the other hand
  176. >You could see them moving toward the tree that hid Alexandria and where you climbed to get a better vantage point
  177. >Preparing your arrow you ready for a headshot
  178. >Stay on target
  179. >Stay on tarrgeet
  180. >You let loose
  181. >BOOM HEAD SHO-
  182. >oh god it did not go down
  183. >You prepared another shot before he could find me
  184. >Fired again...missed
  185. >The first Manticore was swinging wildly, trying to hit whatever was stinging his head
  186. >He hit a fellow Manticore, which in turn, turned these Manticore on eachother
  187. >You watch as the second Manticore ripped out the throat of the first one
  188. >You prepare your next volly, you got lucky that they took their brother out so readily over a accidental swing
  189. >You fire again...miss
  190. >You reach back for your next arrow...you felt around
  191. >One left and two Manticore
  192. >You make the shot count
  193. >Letting loose, you hope to pull the same strategy against the last two of the Manticore that you unwittingly employed
  194. >The arrow hit...and the Manticore went down
  195. >Not what you hoped...4 arrows and only 2 downed beasts
  196. >As the you looked around for anything that you could use, the last Manticore made it to the tree and lowered his head to the roots, sniffing
  197. >Alexandria screamed
  198. >Only natural...shes scared
  199. >Without a second thought, you took out you knife and jumped, hoping to land on the Manticore's back
  200. >Lucky fucker
  201. >You landed on it's back and stabbed it, watching your rear, hoping that the scropion tail doesn't sting you
  202. >It lets out a bellow, and with a force greater then a car crash, tossed you from it's back and into the mud
  203. >You still had to knife
  204. >Thats all you needed
  205. "ALEXANDRIA"
  206. >She looked up from her hiding her eyes from the beast
  207. "YOU WANT TO SEE HOW MUCH OF A PREDATOR I CAN BE? YOU WANT TO SEE HOW DEADLY I CAN FUCKING BE? WATCH! WATCH AND KNOW THAT I SUPPRESS THIS ALL THE TIME! KNOW THAT I SUPPRESS THIS BECAUSE I FUCKING LOVE YOU!"
  208. >You rush the Manticore, jumping
  209. >You miscalculated, and while you landed on it, it bit you right on the shoulder
  210. "AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
  211. >You stabbed it, you kept stabbing it and you did not stop
  212. >Now IT was screaming in pain, throwing you off again
  213. >Your left shoulder was cracked
  214. >You were starting to lose blood
  215. >No time, if you don't finish this now, there is a vary real chance that Alexandria could die
  216. >Using the mud, you ran toward the Manticore, and as it swung, you slid underneath the large talons, slicing it's knees
  217. >It fell
  218. >BUT ITS NOT OVER YET
  219. >You used your knife to stab it's stinger to a tree to keep it from moving
  220. >Jumping on the Manticore's back, you grabbed it's head and arched your back
  221. >Pulling hard you snapped it's neck
  222. >And it fell
  223. >and you fell
  224. >pulling yourself together, you try to get up...and keep stumbling over hitting the ground
  225. >"Daddy!" she cried rushing over to you
  226. >That's a first...she never called you dad
  227. > Probably the blood loss talking
  228. >She tries to help, but being a Earth Pony, she only gets in the way
  229. "MOVE" you bellow
  230. >She steps back, watching you pull yourself up next to the tree with the knife
  231. >Grabbing the knife, you sheath it
  232. >She looked at you, your blood soaked self
  233. >She saw the look of pure murder on your face, but she was not afraid
  234. "Lets go-" you coughed
  235. "We need to get you home"
  236. -
  237. >It had been a about 12 hours since the fight and since both you and Alexandria returned home
  238. >You told her to go get the Veterinarian, hoping that she had experience with Monkeys, so that she could help set your shoulder bone
  239. >The vet came and went, setting your shoulder and patching you up
  240. >The vet said you could not do any heavy work for a month
  241. >While the vet pulled the same bullshit as everyone else in the town, Alexandria, being the bold filly she was, confronted her each time she looked away or called me something that wasn't the proper nomenclature for sentient being.
  242. >You tried to tell Alexandria to go to school the next day, she refused, trying to help you take care of yourself
  243. >You were not in any shape to force her to go like you were last Friday
  244. >So you rest, letting the wound heal
  245. -
  246. >About Wednesday you hear a knock on the door
  247. >Alexandria got the door, it was Miss.Cheerilee
  248. >"Sweetie, why weren't you in school the last few days?" Cheerilee asked
  249. >Saying nothing, she head Cheerilee to the living room where I sat, rebandaging the wound.
  250. >She did was she always did, looked away and spoke from the side of her mouth
  251. >"Um...what happened Anon?" she obviously only came to make sure Alexandria was okay, not expecting to talk to me directly
  252. "Alexandria and I had to deal with some Manticore Saturday night, I was wounded badly and I have not been able to force my adopted dau-"
  253. >Alexandria interpreted me "Daughter"
  254. "Yes...daughter, I can't escort her without collapsing part way out there, and I can't force her to leave though know I have tried"
  255. >"Oh its um...okay Anon...I brought some of her work with me so she can do it from h-" still not looking at me, Alexandria interrupted her
  256. >"LOOK AT HIM" she squealed
  257. >"What" Cheerilee asked Alexandria
  258. >"I see every time you or any other adult talks to my dad, you avoid looking at him, and I see him and it hurts...alot...please...acknowledge" she said staring Cheerilee down
  259. >Slowly moving eyes toward mine, she stared at me....for the first time she took a good look at me
  260. >She saw a hairless ape, scars everywhere from what was the fight
  261. >She saw how vulnerable I was right
  262. >She looked me straight in the eyes
  263. >I don't know what she saw...but she relaxed
  264. "Is there anything else I can do for you?"
  265. >"No...I think that will be all, if I don't see you on Friday Alexandria, Ill bring you your make up work" Cheerilee said leaving
  266. -
  267. "Did you finish your paper?" you asked a little later
  268. >"No, I am still working on it" she said grabbing a book
  269. "You want me to read that to you?" you ask
  270. >"Yes" she said jumping on your lap
  271. >Grabbing the book before it fell, you opened it up
  272. "Ill read it but your gonna have to help me turn the pages" you say holding the book open with your good hand
  273. "We're only gonna get though this book if we work together"
  274. >She uses her hooves to turn to the beginning of the book and you started reading while she smiled on
  275. "Allright lets start... Once upon a time in the magical land of Equestria, there were two regal sisters who ruled together, and created harmony for all the land..."
  276. -----
  277. Microchapter 1: Odysseus[BAA001]
  278. >After Finishing the story of Celestia and Luna, Alexandria turns to you to ask "What about your stories? What stories do humans have"
  279. "Well that depends...what are you looking for? Creation Myths? Stories of war?"
  280. >Thinking for a few minutes, she finally comes up with a answer, "What about heroes? Whats the story of your favorite hero?"
  281. "Well...it would be the story of Odysseus. But I think its a bit late and your a bi-"
  282. >"I'm not tired" she says smiling
  283. >Not having the entire epic of Odysseus on you, you realize that you're going to have to recall the entire thing from memory
  284. >the ENTIRE thing and she is gonna need some background...
  285. "Okay, well where to start? Lets start with the inception of the Trojan War..."
  286. >Hours later, you take her upstairs to tuck her in
  287. >"I don't understand why you like Odysseus... he called the wrath of your gods on him by being arrogant....and it took him so long to get home" she mumbled
  288. "True, hmmm let me ask, you know how Unicorns and Pegesi have more utility because of their extra body parts then you? Well the gods of Greek Myth looked like man, but they were like if the Alicorns just ruled over the earth ponies. They had raw power and authority. So how would man, or earth ponies deal with such beings?" you ask
  289. >"I don't know...we always kind of lived in harmony" she mumbled off
  290. "For us, our gods demanded not harmony, but subjugation. But we learned that we had one thing that could put us on par with the gods" you told her pulling up her blanket
  291. >"Whats that?" she asked
  292. "Cunning...deception... intelligence." you told her. "As unhonest as it is, it saved Odysseus from the the cyclopes, it gave him the logic to choose the Scylla over Charybdis, and it allowed him to breach the walls of troy, not by tearing it down, but by deceiving them that they won" you said
  293. >"Oh...I guess I understand" she started to fall asleep
  294. "When the Unicorns and Pegesi use their natural abilities over you...think Alexandria, use your mind and you might be able to find a way to win" you say kissing her on the forehead as she fell asleep.
  295. ----
  296. Chapter 2: The Great White Hunter [AAA002]
  297. >Walking to ponyville
  298. >What a week
  299. >First you get a polite letter that you will be exterminated from a famed Unicorn that kills beasts
  300. >and THEN you have to deal with the parent-teacher conference in two days
  301. >Well, better get this fight over quickly
  302. >"Are you going to kill him dad?" Alexandria asks
  303. "I can't promise anything, if all goes as planed, I'll just neutralize him" you reply
  304. >"But you're not going to kill him...right?" Alexandria presses on
  305. "If it was just me he was threatening, honesty I would have packed up my belonging and moved. But seeing as killing me would make you a orphan AGAIN, I need to make an example of him" you retort
  306. >"So that sharp stick..." she moved on to
  307. "It's a spear, use the proper term, trust me, the better your vocabulary, the more easily you can communicate" you correct her
  308. >"That spear, how is that going to help you against a Unicorn dad? I mean he has magic, you just have a stick" she worriedly questions
  309. "Trust me, the less you know the better" you nudge her on with your head
  310. "I'm not trying to keep secrets from you, but trust me, if it's one thing you are going to learn today, it's that everything that has power is based on a system below it" you try to teach
  311. >"What do you mean? she inquires
  312. "How do you stand?" you ask her
  313. >"Well I just...kind of do it!" she replies
  314. "Well from my perspective, the capacity to stand rests on systems of bone structure, neurological connections, and the capacity to sense balance. If you interrupt any of those systems, you lose the ability to stand.
  315. >"Well I still don't get it" she nudges on
  316. "I'll teach you later, we are almost at main street, pop off and go find someplace far away to watch. I want you to watch me vary carefully." you say, kneeling to the ground for Alexandria to jump off
  317. >"Okay, thanks for letting me watch!" she squeed with joy
  318. "Alexandria" you say with a sober expression. "If I don't make it, I am sorry"
  319. >"Oh you'll make it, your my dad! I saw what you did to those beasts! I just feel sorry for the unicorn..." she trots off
  320. >You continue down the street, seeing a large gathering of ponies surrounding the unicorn that was going to try and kill you.
  321. >Wearing long sleeved/loose clothing, you take your position and remember how it got to this point
  322.
  323. -
  324. >"Sir! I have a package for you!" It was derpy, right on time as usual
  325. >"Come in!" cried Alexandria
  326. >Derpy let herself in and dropped a parcel and a letter on the table
  327. >"My dad is finishing something for you!" Alexandria twirls around excitedly
  328. >Walking out of the kitchen, I make good on my memo from a while ago
  329. "Thanks for treating me like a being and not just a predator derpy" you say presenting her with a muffin
  330. >Derpy just stared at the muffin, salivating, before asking "What kind of muffin is it?"
  331. "Why its banana! I never heard of Sugarcube corner making Banana Muffins so I tried to remember it from when I baked them with my mom and now ....Derpy?" Anon looked at her as she was lost in thought
  332.         TANGENT: THE MEMORIES OF DERPY HOOVES
  333. >"So we're gonna ask Celestia for a new house right?" Derpy asks her parents, a Earth Pony and a Pegasus
  334. >"We hope so, she burned our house down, and if she is a fair ruler" her mom says
  335. >After waiting, Derpy takes to the side as her parents present themselves to the Princess and ask a replacement for their house
  336. >Then she heard it
  337. >"Do you like Bananas?"
  338. >"Do You Like Bananas?"
  339. >"DO YOU LIKE BANANAS!?!?"
  340.         TANGENT FINISHED
  341. >Derpy screamed as she barreled out Anon's house
  342. >Looking out what was their door, Anon and Alexandria looked at each other in surprise/shock
  343. "Get the tools Alexandria, we need to fix this up." you muttered sitting down to check your mail while eating 1/2 of the muffin, saving the other 1/2 for Alexandria
  344. >Well finally, the ore you ordered finally came in, looks like you can start building you spear...and whats this
  345. >Looking at the letter, you open it to find this
  346. >"Dear Beast of Ponyville, I the great white unicorn! Will be coming to Ponyville to rid it of your scourge! IF you could meet me at the middle of mane street on Sunday, you can at least DIE like a gentlepony. If I we're you, I would get you affairs in order. Sincerely, The Great White Unicorn, Pelt.
  347. -
  348.
  349. >"LOOK! PONYVILLE! THE BEAST PRESENTS HIMSELF LIKE A PONY! WELL WELL WELL, YOU MUST KNOW ME, I AM THE GREAT WHITE UNICORN, PELT! AND YOU MUST BE ANON! THE PONIES HERE WERE TELLING ME JUST HOW MUCH FEAR YOU STRIKE IN THE HEARTS OF THE FILLYS HERE, WELL, PONYVILLE, FEAR NOT FOR TODAY IS THE LAST DAY THAT HE WILL STAND WITH HIS DEFORMED LEGS IN YOUR PRESSENCE" cried Pelt
  350. >You are not amused
  351. >You hear a soft tapping of hooves approaching you, turning to your side, you are surprised to see Cheerilee
  352. >"Excuse me Anon" this is the first time that she ever looked at you without Alexandria calling her on her shit
  353. "Whats wrong?" you ask
  354. >"Please don't kill him" Cheerilee says sincerely
  355. "I will try, but such a threat can not go unopposed" you look back to Pelt
  356. "I'd move out of the way if I were you, I think we are about to start and I can't promise you safety if your within the range of my spear" you warn her
  357. >Taking your warning to heart, Cheerilee quickly moves back into the crowed
  358. "So when are we going to start?" you yell at Pelt
  359. "OH WE ALREADY STARTED ANON! I'M JUST WAITING FOR YOU TO ATTEMPT A FUTILE MOVE SO I CAN SHOW THESE PONIES THAT THEY HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR WHILE I AM AROUND" Pelt said cocking back his head
  360. >You could hear the stomping of ponies egging him and you on
  361. >They really want this don't they
  362. >"SO WHATS THAT ANON? A STICK? HOW CUTE! YOU BROUGHT A STICK TO A MAGIC FI-" was all he said when you dropped a smoke bomb from your sleeve, lite it and threw it right at him
  363. >Suddenly smoke, smoke everywhere
  364. >You could hear coughing and zapping, the Unicorn's needed to AIM to make their most of their magic and without sight, he was useless
  365. >Rushing into smoke, like you had done over and over again the week before hand practicing, you took only one slash of your spear and it was over
  366. >Jumping out of the smoke, the other ponies looked concerned
  367. "Are you all worried that I killed him?" you bellow, taking your spear, you begin to use it like a fan, blowing the air around Pelt until it revealed him
  368. >With his horn slashed off
  369. >"WHAT DID YOU D-"he cried out before you took your spear to his throat
  370. "I took the source of your power" you muttered toward him
  371. >"YOU..YOU SCOUNDRAL! YOU TRICKSTER! HOW D-" you interrupted him again
  372. "How dare I bring a stick and smoke bomb to a magic fight?" you reply
  373. "Listen hear you fetus, you see that little pony a little to your left waving?" pointing out Alexandria in the crowed, and waved at her.
  374. >She waved back excitedly
  375. "Yeah if you killed me you would have made her an orphan... twice. By rights I should just kill you right here, right now, but your lucky. YOU get to serve as an example to those who threaten my life" you hissed
  376. >Looking down at his cut off horn, he walks over to pick it up before you bring your spear to bare against him again
  377. "No no no, it's MINE now" you hiss at him
  378. >The crowed was absolutely silent, and stunned.
  379. >Picking up the horn, you beckon Alexandria over, kneeling down long enough to let her jump onto your shoulder and started to head home
  380. --
  381.
  382. >"Wow Dad that was awesome! You didn’t even use magic and you won!" she danced wildly on your shoulder
  383. "Yes, but did you learn something from this?" you reply
  384. >"No one can kill my daddy!" she still squirming around on your shoulder
  385. "Well, while it's nice to hear, nope. Ask yourself, why could he not use his magic on me?" you tried to get her gears turning
  386. >"He could not see you!" she said
  387. "so what did we learn!" you ask
  388. >"Um...if you take away that which power is based, it becomes useless?" she said with a language that startled you
  389. "Well um..that’s exactly it" you smiled as you entered back into your house and prepared for supper.

  391. Microchapter 2: Parent-Teacher Conference [BAA002]
  392. >Wake up
  393. >It's 5 am, time to get shit ready for the parent-teacher conference and getting Alexandria to school
  394. >Throw covers over to get out of bed
  395. >That's strange...I went to bed...naked?
  396. >Look back at bed....there's a large lump covered by the blankets
  397. >Carefully moving over, you grab the blankets and rip it off to reveal
  398. >Cheerilee
  399. >”Oh Anon, last night you were sooo good” she purred, “The things you can do with you...what are they called? Fingers? Hmmmm so many things you did with your fingers”
  400. >What
  401. >The
  402. >Fuck
  403. >You bust open the door in horror and ran down stairs at break neck speeds, only to trip and black out
  404.
  405. >Wake up
  406. >It's 5 am, time to get shit ready for the parent-teacher conference and getting Alexandria to school
  407. >Throw covers over to get out of bed
  408. >That's strange...I went to bed...naked?
  409. >Wait...what didn’t this just happen a few seconds ago?
  410. >Look back at bed....there's a large lump covered by the blankets
  411. >Carefully moving over, you grab the blankets and rip it off to reveal
  412. >A Humanized bender
  413. >Suddenly the room dims and the scene changes to Humanized Bender, Cheerilee, and Ron Paul dancing on a strip stage to “Congo” by Miami Sound Machine
  414. >Screaming in horror, you try to find the door to reveal there is no door
  415. >Oh god now they are grinding against each other
  416. >HALP
  417. >HALP
  418. >Wake up
  419. >It's 5 am, time to get shit ready for the parent-teacher conference and getting Alexandria to school
  420. >Throw covers over to get out of bed.....still clothed...good
  421. >Toss covers... no Cheerilee, no Humanized Bender, and no Ron Paul
  422. >Smell smoke
  423. >Smells like....burnt bacon?
  424. >Rushing downstairs, you, like in your dream trip and fell
  425. >black out
  426. >”Daddy?” waking up to small hooves tapping your forehead
  427. ”blafarglegargle....am I dream-”
  428. >”DAD, I'm sorry...I wanted to try making your breakfast for you today...but I burnt your bacon” she seems to step back, expecting  punishment.
  429. >Get up
  430. >Walk to kitchen
  431. >Everything is a burnt mess
  432. >Yup, reality
  433.
  434. -Parent-Teacher Conference-
  435. >You're too big to enter the school house, Cheerilee has to come outside to meet you
  436. >”Hello Anon” she says exiting the building
  437. >School had already let out and you let Alexandria go play with her friends until night fall so that you could deal with this meeting with Cheerilee alone
  438. >While she burnt your bacon, all of it,but it was out of good intentions....memo to self: teach her to cook meats
  439. >”Lets go for a walk” Cheerilee said
  440. >In about 10 minutes we were at the outer edge of Ponyville, secluded enough to talk openly without strangers dropping in
  441. >”Well she is doing okay in everything, but being the your daughter....you can see where the others give her a hard time...” Cheerilee trailed off
  442. “Anything we can do about it?” you sincerely ask
  443. >”Look, not to be mean, but the moment that she was under your custody, you gave her peers unlimited ammo to taunt her... but her attitude changed from that of passive agreement to aggressive arguing” Cheerilee said bluntly “And its something she is going to have to deal with for the rest of her life”
  444. “So you're saying that I have tainted her ability to socialize with her peers?” you question
  445. >”Well no, she has friends, but when have her friends ever come to your house?” Cheerilee replies
  446. “...Never” you answer. “Do you have any suggestions on how we can deal with this?”
  447. >”Well to start, your stunt with Pelt did not help, you scared the entire town, now instead of a carnivore coming to eat them during the day, your a warrior who will kill them all in their sleep..” she trailed off
  448. “I'm sorry...but I don't take threats to my life lightly” you said lowering your voice
  449. >”Well if you want to build some goodwill from the community, try not to “make an example” out of anyone else” she said with a slight aggressive tone to her voice....this wasn’t about Alexandria anymore, she was critiquing how I dealt with Pelt.
  450. >”Other then that Anon, Alexandria is doing well enough, just check to make sure she does all her homework and she will be just fine” finishes Cheerilee
  451. “Thank you ma'am” you say breaking away from her headed home
  452. >”So what did she say” Alexandria asked inquisitively
  453. “You're doing okay, but she and everyone else there was a bit  peeved about how I dealt with Pelt” you say fixing her supper
  454. >”When did this become about you?” she said teasing on
  455. Laughing, you put her plate down and started to eat you're own supper. “That reminds me, this weekend, since you want to try cooking meat so much, I'm gonna teach you”
  456. >”Bu-” she was interrupted
  457. “No Butts, you burn my bacon, your punishment is to learn how too cook it proper, I have few rules Alexandria and one of them is never ever waste good bacon” you chuckled as you continued eating.

  459. Microchapter 3: Prank Joke [BAA003]
  460.
  461. >Get up, its a Sunday
  462. >Weird...Alexandria gets up earlier then me.... something is a miss
  463. >Get Dressed
  464. >Check her room...door is open, heart skips a beat, is she gone again, did someone take her?
  465. "ALEXANDRIA!!??" you cry
  466. >"In the kitchen" you hear downstairs
  467. >Feeling of relief
  468. >Walk down, sees door to kitchen is ajar
  469. >Think nothing of it
  470. "Are you trying to make breakf-" I said midway as I enter the kitchen, being interpreted by a bucket of water splashing my head
  471. >Alexandria is on table, laughing her ass off
  472. >Target located
  473. "OH IM GONNA GET YOU" you cry as you run at her
  474. >She runs off the table, running away
  475. >She runs outside
  476. >You barly catch up with her
  477. "I AM GONNA PUNISH YOU SO BADLY" you say as you grab her
  478. >She gives a flash of fear, thinking that she went too far this time
  479. >Picking her up by her scruff, she looks you in the eyes
  480. >Raising your other hand you prepare to do you worst
  481. >She winces
  482. >Then starts laughing
  483. >You start tickling her belly
  484. >she kicks and bucks about laughing as you tickle her, soaking wet from the bucket
  485. >Screaming with laughter, a moment of sheer fear turns into a bonding moment
  486. >Walking back in, carrying her, you ask
  487. "Don't do that again...please?"
  488. >"Okay" she said settling down
  489. >"So whats for breakfast?" she asks

  491. Chapter 3: The Hunt [AAA003]
  492. >Hear pounding at the door
  493. >its fucking 2 am in the morning, they can come back la-
  494. >Pounding at the door gets louder
  495. >FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
  496. >Gets robe on
  497. >Walks past Alexandria's room, shes up
  498. >”Dad whats going on” she asks sleeplessly
  499. “Stay in your room until I say its okay to come out” you mumble
  500. >Ignoring you she trails you, looking around corners to make sure your not checking to see if she followed you
  501. >Too tired to check anyways
  502. >Open Door
  503. >It's....Berry Punch?
  504. >”OH LOOK! ITS THE FUCKING -hic- APE COME OUT TO FINALY GREET ME” an inebriated Berry Punch states
  505. ”Berry, do you even know what ti-” your interrupted
  506. >”OH I know what time it is Anon, its time for you to get the fuckouta town no one wants you here you stupid monkey! You think you -hic- can raise a pony proper...and...and...and” she was taking a moment to think...then she vomited
  507. >”You know your an embarrassment to monkeys? Can't you go back to the Everfree Forest where yo b-” she fell over
  508. >Half tempted to leave her in her own puddle of vomit, you carefully pick her up and bring her to the living room
  509. >Cleaning her unconscious body of the vomit, you see Alexandria spying on you from behind the stairwell
  510. “Alexandria, sense your up and already seen this, go get a towel, Berry here is going to be out guest for tonight” you order her
  511. >Taking a few moment to get a towel, she comes back
  512. >”Why? I heard what she said to you, why not just leave her outside?” she asks
  513. “Simple, if they find a dead pony on my property and I show no attempt to prevent that, they will get on my ass about it” you say grabbing a bucket of water and a empty bucket from the kitchen
  514. “That and she is not in control of what she says right now” you mutter off,  placing the empty bucket under her head so she can vomit without making a mess
  515. ….
  516. >Its 11am
  517. >You have been up since Berry woke you and Alexandria up last night
  518. >You're cooking a late breakfast when you hear the moaning of some one waking up in the living room
  519. >Berry Punch walks into the kitchen
  520. >”How the hell did I get out here?” she asks
  521. ”I don't know” you reply, as you move the bacon from the frying pan and onto your plate
  522. >Alexandria had been a real help, she stayed up until 4am helping you clean and getting Berry settled in for the night
  523. >”Ugh whats that fucking smell” Berry bitched
  524. “The smell of cooked Hog flesh” you flatly reply sitting down
  525. >Then, as if her hangover suddenly cleared, she realized where she was
  526. >The Fucking Human's den
  527. >”Oh um....did uh...did I?” she was trying to find a way to ask a question without enraging a unpredictable beast in her mind
  528. “You came to my house this morning, told me that I am a fucking uncivilized monkey, proceeded to vomit, a lot, and fall unconscious while my daughter watched on” you lowered your voice to a growl
  529. >”Oh...ugh...well...Imma just show my...self out yess...” she said backing up slowly
  530. “Hang on.” You stopped her right before she was about to open the door to leave. Getting on her level you looked her straight in her bloodshot eyes, “Don't you ever fucking come around here again drunk, now I have to explain that shit to my daughter, I get to explain why normally decent folks who keep their mouths shut become full fucking retards when they sip a little hard cider”
  531. >”Y...yes sir” she tried to back up but only hit the door.
  532. “Get the fuck off my property” you hissed as she turned around and galloped the fuck out of there
  533. >”I want to watch you hunt” Alexandria surprised you
  534. “What?” you asked flatly, making her a late lunch
  535. >”You say that your people weren't like heards, that you gathered and hunted, I want to watch you hunt” she said
  536. “...You sure? I mean 19/20ths of the time its ether getting someplace, waiting, or staying at a campsite for the night. It's more a ritual then it is 'fun'.” you try to dissuade  her
  537. >”What do you mean it's not fun?” she asks
  538. “I don't go into the woods and chase after my food, I literally put some bait out, get high up a tree and wait” you say. “Its not action packed, and I doubt you are going to like the part when I finally do take aim to kill something, watching something die is never pleasant, you try to make it as quick and painless for the prey as possible”
  539. >”Well I still want to come” you persists on
  540. “...okay...but you need to give me a month to prepare, I have to go see the Mayor to find out where I can hunt in the forest, and seeing as I pissed off a lot of ponies with the Pelt fight, I will probably get denied permission” you say, giving up trying to convince her to just stay here
  541.
  542. -2 months later-
  543. >You were lucky, Everfree forest always had a wild hog population problem, otherwise they would have denied your request to hunt outright.
  544. >For the trip you set a special harness on your shoulder so that Alexandria could ride on it without falling off and could fasten herself to you so that when you climbed a tree for the long wait
  545. >But before you go, you needed to take care of one small thing, one tiny little thing
  546. >Alexandria's scent
  547. >”Why do I have to use this stuff and not you?” she asks
  548. “Because the animals in the forest don't recognize my scent, I’m not from here, you on the other hand, we need to obscure your scent enough” you say scrubbing her back with some....stuff that you got from Zacora for this
  549. >Another pony who can talk to you without looking like it's about to shit itself
  550. >I wonder why-
  551. >Realize she has probably seen stranger shit then me
  552. >Memo to self: Thank Zacora
  553. >Whatever it was it honesty you won't know if it will work until you get out there
  554. >”Well whatever happens, this trip is gonna be great!” Alexandria says shaking the suds and water off
  555. >”This is soo booooring” Alexandria moaned
  556. “Shhh” you said
  557. >She squirms in shoulder saddle
  558. >She is obviously not amused
  559. >”But its been hours” she whispered
  560. “I told you, majority of the time its waiting” you hiss
  561. >an hour passes
  562. >then two
  563. >three...
  564. >Nothing
  565. >Head back to a small campsite you established
  566. >She's finally glad to be free from ridding your shoulder harness
  567. >”This is stupid” she says running around letting out all that pent up energy
  568. “I told you about hunting sweetie, I told you Alexandria” you reply
  569. >”Is this what you do EVERY time you hunt?” she groans
  570. “I told you sweetie I told you about hunting!!!” you let out with a slight agitation
  571. “Now comeon, lets get some food and get ready for bed” you say getting out her dinner for the night
  572.
  573. >http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPhVhQZUCpM
  574. >Back in the same tree you were just hours before
  575. >waiting
  576. >waiting....
  577. >waiting...
  578. >You think you see some movement
  579. >You get your bow at the ready and tap Alexandria to let her know she needs to be quiet
  580. >Wait for it....wait for it...fuck
  581. >It's deer
  582. >If it were earth, you would not think a second thought about killing them
  583. >But here, the deer look like pre-evolved ponies
  584. >Fuuuu and they are eating the bait
  585. >Lowering the bow, you hear Alexandria let out a small sigh
  586. >Can't tell if its because she is pissed at no hunting action or satisfied knowing I wasn’t going to kill something that looked similar to a pony
  587. >Waiting, you think it's about time to call this trip quits
  588. >Then you hear it, the sound of brush moving
  589. >Then you see a few hogs charge the deer
  590. >The deer, being skittish, run off without a fight
  591. >The hogs dominate the bait
  592. >And a nice lean one was among them
  593. >Taking aim, you try for a head shot....but this shoulder saddle makes aiming feel...weird
  594. >You let loose....and you hit it, but don't get the head shot
  595. >The hog lets out a yelp as it and it's brother run off, leaving a nice trail of blood to follow
  596. >Slowly getting down from the tree, you slowly start to follow the trail
  597. >A little while later, you find it without it's kin stumbling about
  598. >You take aim again
  599. >You hear a squee from Alexandria as you fire again, taking it down
  600. >It's convulsing and screaming
  601. >You prepare another arrow, your not gonna risk getting mauled with your daughter on your back
  602. >You can hear your daughter trying not to watch
  603. ”It's not pretty or action packed is it?” you ask her
  604. >”...no” she whimpers
  605. >Firing, you finish off the hog
  606.
  607. >Later that night, you dragged the hog back and field dressed it
  608. >Alexandria did not watch
  609. >While it's blood drained you went back to camp
  610. >Alexandria looks visibly upset
  611. “Whats wrong?” you ask.
  612. >”I thought that hunting would be like how you killed those Manitcore, but this....this seems cruel” she says meekly
  613. “It is and don't you forget it” you reply to her
  614. >”How can you do it then? How can you do it just to keep a supply of pork and bacon in the fridge?”she asks
  615. “Hunting is a tradition where I come from. Some of our cultures just go out, kill, and use the bodies as trophys, others use the entire animal, it's meat, bones, tendons, organs, everything. But my culture, while there are trophys for killing exceptional specimens, we primarily just hunt because it IS our tradition. Where I come from, it is a deathworld compared to yours. Even the planet itself is out to kill us. On that world, you ether pray on others or you die for the most part. Even our herbivores pray on plants and have been known to kill entire species of plants. We even have plants that pray on mammals.” you explain . “They die so that we may live. In some cultures they give thanks to that, and in this case, I am silently thankful.” you elaborate. “Are you going to be okay?” you ask
  616. >”Yeah... I just...you know... I did not expect that” she was moving, acting like she felt better
  617. “I never attempted to hide that aspect of myself Alexandria, but I knew that it would be  upsetting to a society of herbivores if I openly did this. That’s why I never brought you, not because I did not feel you could handle it, but because I felt that there was no reason to expose you to this.” you say solemnly “Are you upset with me?”
  618. >”No....actually I'm a bit sleepy” she smiled
  619. “Well then, lets get ready for bed” you smiled back
  620. -----
  621. Chapter 4: This is Whineing [AAA004]
  622. >”Dad what are you working on?” Alexandria watches you in your workshop
  623. “A Compound bow” you reply, focusing entirely on the pulley mechanism
  624. >”Whats wrong with your old bow?” Alexandria asks....she wants attention but you don't mind answering her
  625. “Remember that Hog that took me three shots to kill?” I reminded her
  626. >”Yeah, but why make a new bow just for that?” she pushes on
  627. “A Compound bow allows me to put a lot more force into my arrows then a recursive bow” you explain. “More force means more accuracy and more killing potential” you elaborate, but the truth is that you were concerned. Just a week ago some ponies from the local defense guard came by to talk to you
  628. -
  629. >”So you have no clue as to the movements of the canines in the region?” asks a well dressed official. These two ponies came by to asses Diamond Dogs movements in the area, checking up on the local out of control element.
  630. “No sir, you know the Dogs don't go into the Everfree Forest, and that’s primarily where I make my rounds” you flatly say.
  631. >”You know...you have more in common with them then you do us....bipedal....arms....hands...flesh...eating” the other official eyed me.
  632. “Sir, if you are insinuating that I am actively assisting or in league with raiders, you are sorely mistaken” you defend yourself, but you know that the more resistance you offer, the more that they would try to screw with you
  633. >”That pony....why would something like you....want to raise a pretty little filly like her?” asked the first dressed official “I think you're plumping her up...because we all know you can't control your desire...to consume others” Two Unicorns had stopped by to assess the Diamond Dog threat in the region....or at least thats their story
  634. >You remain still, trying to not give off any body language that screams 'IM GOING TO KILL YOU TO DEATH' though you sorely want to....but these are officials of the local legitimate government...if you make an example or kill them... they will rain hell on Alexandria and you
  635. “Sir, I don't know what to tell you, I don't eat pony's...more mules...or donkeys, and given my status as a semi-sentient creature in your government, I have to report each and every kill I make within the guidelines of you law” you try to refute
  636. >Looking at each other, the knew what they were going to do next, “Remember Pelt? The Great White Unicorn? Did you know that he is a cripple now? Unicorn society doesn’t take those who can't use magic....hes no better then a Earth Pony now”
  637. “Whats wrong with Earth Ponies? They make a decent living” you try to retort
  638. >”But they don't now don't they? You know he won't press charges.... mostly because he thinks your going to come kill him if he does” chucked the second official.
  639. >As they let themselves out, the first one turned and said “We're watching Anon, don't think we aren't because we are, and we will not tolerate another Pelt incident.” slamming the door on the way out
  640. -
  641. >“Dad?” Alexandria asks while waving her hoof in front of you
  642. You had zoned out remembering why you were upgrading everything you could. You had plans to put a small hidden armory in your house and a secret basement where Alexandria could go in case things went south You planned to make the little house you and Alexandria lived in a tiny fort. You needed more bomb supplies, needed to make a large excess of arrows that can deal with the force of the bow you were making....
  643. >”Dad, whats wrong?” she asks, she seems sad and worried.
  644. “Everything is going to be just fine, come here” you said putting your tools down and waving her over for a hug
  645. >You catch her as she leaps to you, hugging her carefully
  646. >It's midday and your working on the hidden basement.... secret entrance you planned for it was just underneath the fire place...you had to use stone because you could not risk using wood and cutting the stone was a bitch
  647. >As you make careful measurements, you hear a knocking on the door
  648. “ALEXANDRIA, CAN YOU ANSWER IT PLEASE?” you cry, given the time you assumed that it was ether Derpy or a goat trying to sell Iron Will's program
  649. >”IT”S CHEERILEE!” cried Alexandria
  650. >Cheerilee? Here? At this time? Something must be wrong
  651. >Dropping what you are doing, you head to the front door
  652. >”Anon!” greeted Cheerilee
  653. “Ma'am, something I can help you with? Alexandria give us some space please.” you smile at Alexandria. She scampers off to go play with her dolls.
  654. >”Actually Anon, I'd like to discuss this with you...outside of Alexandria's ear” she looks worried
  655. “Fine, I need to get some tools in my shed” you lead
  656. >A few moments pass before she begins to speak
  657. >”The city council is voting this week to install a warning sirens thought Ponyville” says Cheerilee dropping the friendly act she put on for Alexandria
  658. “Is that bad?” you ask
  659. >”They are installing it because of the Pelt incident....they want to be able to warn the populous if you get out of control” she says
  660. “And you're here....why?” you inquire
  661. >”Because I see how well you do with Alexandria, I admit.... I was afraid of you...I still am...but after watching you two interact...” she drifts off
  662. “I guess you're here to give me fair warning?”
  663. >”Yes, I really would hate to see you two separated because of both how you deal with threats and how we deal with.... Omnivores....you know when Alexandria made me look in your eyes....you have that spark of empathy don't you?”
  664. “I don't understand what you mean”
  665. >”You have predatory instincts.... but you always keep them under wraps....why?”
  666. “...In my society, those who can't control such urges are usually locked up. Even where I come from, a lot of self control is required to interact with others.”
  667. >”That's not just it isn’t it? You care for her, I don't understand how a predator can care for anything other then itself, but you're different...that or your species is different.”
  668. “You're point?”
  669. >”My point is...I'm sorry for not giving you the benefit of the doubt.... I have to be tolerant of a lot of kids each year, but I guess it harder to see the good in something that doesn’t have your form...”
  670. “You don't have to apologize... I can understand where the idea that I have no control and will eat everyone comes from...I just wish my inactions over time would have proved that I am not a threat.”
  671. >Stopping at the shed, you enter to get a hammer more for breaking stone and head back to the house
  672. >”Look, I want to help you...so keep down for a while and don't do anything.... that would be misconstrued as an attack....okay?” Cheerilee requests
  673. “It's not a problem, Alexandria is becoming old enough to go out to town on her own to get supplies, so unless the local shop keeps give her problems, I won't be going into Ponyville too much more the next few months” you reply
  674. >”Really? You're going to seclude yourself?”
  675. “Best strategy till shes old enough, then I'll prolly leave her the house and hit the road trying to find a way home”
  676. >”Why, I thought you cared for her a lot?”
  677. “I do, but my presence is only an obstruction for her in the long run...in addition, I don't want to stay someplace that doesn’t want me. I'm used to seclusion it's only because even amongst my own people, I tended to be overbearing and  unusually brutish. I seek isolation because it's better then being told you don't fit the mold constantly.” you explain
  678. >”Oh...thats...a shame” Cheerilee realized that you weren't just a pariah amongst ponies, but humans as well.
  679. >”Well, I'll see you later Anon” smiled Cheerilee
  680. “Later Ma'am” you reply
  681. -
  682. >”Am I in trouble?” Alexandria asked as you made your way into the house
  683. “No, nothing of the sort” you reply, setting your tools on the table and taking a seat
  684. >”....something is wrong isn’t it?” she said
  685. >Thinking hard...you decide to tell her the truth, she's strong enough
  686. “There is a good chance that I will be forced to leave here soon” you said staring at the tools. “Ponyville is preparing for, from their perspective, a inevitable attack on them by me. I am pretty sure that with in a few months, ether I will be asked to leave by the local authorities or a mob will come and try to kill me before I become too much a threat.” you say, barely holding back the tears. You Never intended for this, not for her. “Listen to me, I'm going to see about arranging for you to stay with Miss Cheerilee in case this does happen. It's not because I don't want you, if it was in your best interest I would take you with me, but living with me as a vagabond is not a life I want for you.”
  687. >”So this is how I work the secret door?” Alexandria said pushing in a stone with her hoof, forcing the fireplace to rotate around and review a small staircase.
  688. “So far so good, now show me how to lock it from the inside.” you said walking with her down into the hidden basement. The basement was bare, you had just finished it and planned to put supplies for hiding long term in there.
  689. >Alexandria kicked a lever which you could hear the rotating of the fireplace sealing off this room from the rest of the house
  690. “It's important while you are down here to not make any unnecessary noise. Once that lever is in it's current position, the stone that you pushed to get in won't work to reopen it, so never EVER come down here unless I tell you too.” you try to impress on her the importance of following this, you did not want to have to excavate your own house just to get to her. “Now let me tell you, I am thinking of one last fail safe, a tunnel that leads into the Everfree Forest... it's going to be long but it would allow us a way to escape quickly in case whoever attacks finds this room”
  691. >”Isn’t this a bit...much?” Alexandria asked
  692. “I admit...I am a paranoid person Alexandria. But if we prepare for the worst, and hope for the best, vary few things will ever catch us off guard” you smile at her, releasing the lever and going back upstairs
  693. “I fucking hate gardening” you mumble as you pull some carrots out from the little piece of land you put aside for vegetables. You were trying to minimize the need to go into town to get food by growing your own here. To be frank, it was the only reason. Otherwise you would just go into town and buy everything. Standing up to wipe the sweat off your brow, you see movement in the distance...
  694. >It's too early for Alexandria to be back from school....and Derpy always drops by after Alexandria returns home.....a threat? Better not take the chance. Rushing into the house, you grab your compound bow and quiver and moved upstairs to see if you could get a better look out the window....
  695. >”Its...Cheerilee? And a bunch of other young ponies, Alexandria leading the way...what the fuc...
  696. >Putting the bow down, you head downstairs to meet them
  697. >”Anon!...its “ Cheerilee as out of breath, so was what seemed to be her entire class
  698. >Then it came the questions from the adolescent ponies, is he gonna eat us, we should not have com here, we were better off back the school ect...
  699. “Breath, take a few seconds” you said to Cheerilee
  700. >”Diamond Dogs....raiding....Ponyville” she said coughing
  701. “Okay come inside, Ill get you some water” you said beckoning the herd inside
  702. >”They came, we heard the howling...so I got the class out the back side of the school....but I thought it was just a few..7 or 10.....but Anon...there’s at least 50” Cheerilee said calming down.
  703. >”I realized that they were going to occupy the town...I thought that this would be a safe place...its far enough away from town that they wouldn’t think of holding it..so I brought them here” she said
  704. “Well you are all welcome to stay until the crisis is over” I said reassuring her, but she looked up
  705. >”You have to stop them!” she said, with a look of desperation in her eyes
  706. “Whoa whoa whoa. Me?” you say assuming she is kidding...but she wouldn’t would she... out of breath, 15 child ponies to watch over...she was serious
  707. >”Please....they over ran us before we could mobilize our defense force” she pleaded.
  708. “Why? Not to point out the obvious but why should I, and thats ignoring the fact that your asking one human to go against a raiding group of 50ish armed individuals!” you answer
  709. >”I saw you at the Pelt fight.... Alexandria told me how you fought off three Manticore to protect her...and Ponyville has nothing to stand in between those Dogs and the innocents” she retorted “Please...they need you...”
  710. >Thinking hard, you really did not have any love for that town... you just wanted to let the storm blow over...
  711. >”You may not think your a wanted part of this community, but think of you daughter.... you have fought to keep her around other ponies since she first started school.... if they kill...think of you're daughter” she staring me in the eyes...
  712. >You took a few moments but you already knew your answer...you just needed to make sure you could not find a good reason to ignore Ponyville's request for assistance
  713. “Follow me, Alexandria make sure your Peers don't get themselves hurt or break something” you say escorting Cheerilee upstairs
  714. >Pulling out a map you began to expunge to Cheerilee what to do if the Dogs did come to raid your home. Making her promise not to tell anyone about your contingency plan to get her and you out of the house in case a raid or something worse, you begin to point out the more intimate details of the plan.
  715. “I have enough food stored in the basement for Alexandria and I to last a week, however it will barley last you and your students a day. If whoever is raiding the house figures out the fireplace is the entrance to the basement, Alexandria knows how access the tunnel that leads into the Everfree forest, when you and all your students reach the end, you have the option to collapse the tunnel. Make sure EVERYONE is out of the tunnel before you do so. Now I know the Everfree forest is not a place to bring a bunch of young ponies, but it's better then lett-” Cheerilee interrupted you
  716. >”You're afraid of us aren't you? You would not have gone though all this work for no reason.... you're just as afraid of us as we are afraid of you...” Cheerilee said connecting the dots “You really do love Alexandria don't you?”
  717. “Yes....more then I have been able to love anything before, she is my daughter, and if I did not take the proper procedure to protect her, if anything ever happened to her... I don't know how I would live with myself...” you reply. The silence was deafening between Cheerilee and you... “Listen... I need to gear up.... and that means I need to change my cloths....you have students to watch over... so can you give me some privacy?” you request
  718. >”...Oh yes...sure” she said letting what she just learned sink in. Leaving, you closed the door as you opened closet and pulled on the light fixture twice, revealing you tiny armory....
  719. >Preparing to leave, you adjust the spear on you back one more time to make sure it won't get in the way of you trying to grab a arrow. Ponyville, even at full run, was 15 minutes away and you had no idea where the perimeter  of the Dogs started. Walking out your room, you could heat the chatting of children downstairs, you needed to do only two things before you left.
  720. >Once downstairs you wave Alexandria to follow you outside
  721. >Once outside, you get on her level and begin to tell her what might be your final words to her
  722. “Listen.... I'm going to go try and save Ponyville...but it's doubtful that I will succeed. I want you to know that Cheerilee will take care of you in case anything happens to me....but I need you to know this... I love you, I love you vary much Alexandria” you say picking her up to hug her.
  723. >”Dad...what do you mean you don't think you wills succeed?” she says in a worried tone.
  724. “I won't lie to you, if things go south, I will be dead.” you say still holding her.
  725. >You could hear a soft yelp as she realized that you intended to fight a battle that you might not win
  726. “Go get Cheerilee...there is one last thing I need to talk to her about before I go.” you say putting her down.... she looked horrified that you intended to do this. “Please don't make me ask again” you patted her on the head “You're strong, you will make it without me if thats how the dice rolls” you smile at her.
  727. >Slowly walking back in, its a few moments later Cheerilee comes out
  728. >”What did you tell your daughter” she asks “Shes crying”
  729. “I told her the truth, that there is a vary real chance I could die...” Cheerilee intrupted
  730. >”WHY WOULD YOU TELL THAT TO HER? WHAT WE-” she exclaimed, but was intrupted by you
  731. “BECAUSE SHE DESERVES TO KNOW THE TRUTH! BECAUSE SHE IS STRONG ENOUGH!! DEATH HAPPENS CHEERILEE, AND TO SHY AWAY FROM IT IS ONLY ANOTHER WAY WE LIE TO OURSELVES!” you yell
  732. >Then silence between the two of you
  733. “If I do die...please take care of her for me....give her the house when she is old enough” you awkwardly request.
  734. >”Yeah...yeah no...no problem” she says, still soaking in the microargument you two just had. “Do you really think you will die?” she mumbles out
  735. “I can't promise that I'll be back in one piece” you reply
  736. >Starting your walk, you head to Ponyville only for Cheerilee to run up to you
  737. >”Listen...its not much....but about a year ago, one of the local unicorns, Rarity, was able to neutralize some Diamond Dogs by 'whining'” she said
  738. “Whining?” you curiously reply
  739. >”Yeah apparently she can take her voice to such a pitch that it leaves the Diamond Dogs defenseless...I'm not sure it will help” she says
  740. “That emergency siren system that you came by last month to tell me about.... is there a mic hook up?” you ask
  741. >”I think so...are you thinking of using the system to broadcast her voice across the entire town?” inquired Cheerilee
  742. ”It might be our best option” you state. “Thanks ma'am... I might be able to do something about this after all”
  743. >”Anon...its just Cheerile...just call me Cheerilee” she said looking up at you
  744. “Alright....Cheerilee...thank you” you say and begun you run to ponyville.
  745. >Taking cover, your first objective was to get to find a Rarity, you knew where she lived, she made a living being a fashion designer in a town that was full of farmers. She made enough dough to live in a luxurious house... guessing that she will be there for this, protecting her cloths, you needed to figure out the quickest, and most discrete ways to get to her house.
  746. >The worst part of Diamond Dogs: they can hear...everything, you had to take two down when they heard you taking cover behind a house...It was easy at least, the bow did half the work and you simply impaled the other with your spear.
  747. >Coming to Rarity's house finally...the front door was barred and all the windows on the bottom floor had furniture blocking them... you gonna have to climb
  748. >It's not a bad climb... just a story and a sharp  turn toward the roof. You got toward the second story windows.... not barricaded...good
  749. >Using your armored gauntlet, you started to smash the window to get in
  750. >Then you heard the screaming
  751. >And fuck was it annoying
  752. >But you kept at it, hitting the window over and over until it broke
  753. >Jumping in, you saw a chest fly at you
  754. >Backing up to dodge, you instinctively grasped the side, hanging out the window as the chest flew out
  755. “STOP! I'M HERE TO HELP” you cry
  756. >”THAT I VARY MUCH DOUBT! YOU'RE HERE FOR MY HORN!! WELL YOU'RE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT WITHOUT A FIGHT!!” cried Rarity
  757. >Only in this late hour do you realize that dehorning Pelt was not the best idea to assert that you should not be fucked with to ponies
  758. “LISTEN!! I NEED YOUR HELP! IF I CAN GET YOU TO THE WARNING SIRE-” you said before you could feel yourself levitating...shit. “Look, I know you are scared” you say trying to calm Rarity down. “But your voice is the key to stopping this raid”
  759. >You can see the fear and anger in her eyes
  760. “Look... if I really wanted your horn, I would have tried to take it a looong time ago....” you  said trying to calm her down. “Right now I am at your mercy, all I need to do is to get you to the Mayor's office so that you can do whatever you did the first time to stop these raiders on the emergency siren”
  761. >Thinking for a second... Rarity finally puts you down. “If you try anything funny” she said while glowing her horn
  762. >Raising your hands defensively, you reply,
  763. “Once I get you to the Mayor's office, and once you do what you need to do, you will never see me again” you try to assure her.
  764. >Then you hear it
  765. >The sound of a Pegasus at high speed? If the royal Pegesi guard is here then you're job is already over and you can head home
  766. >”It's Rainbow Dash!” cried Rarity “I think shes gonna try to use a Sonic Rainboom to send the Dog's packing!”
  767. “Sonic what?” you inquired
  768. >”Its when she goes fast enough she can generate a wave of color and sound tha-” you stop her in midsentince
  769. “What about the epicenter?? Does it come out okay?”
  770. >”Well...I think...it...leaves a crater” she says suddenly realizing the predicament
  771. >You heard it...the sound was chilling
  772. >There was no screaming
  773. >There was no time
  774. Realizing that the windows would shatter throwing shrapnel everywhere, you move to cover her right before all you saw was a rainbow of colors
  775. >When you came too, all you could feel was a sharp pain in your right side
  776. >Trying to get up, you finaly got your vision back
  777. >You right arm was full of broken glass, along with the right side of your body
  778. >You try to move your right arm to asses the damage
  779. >Its moving...but it's shaking...shaking too bad to be useful for ether using your bow or your spear in your prime hand....
  780. >Then it hit you...the pain
  781. “AGHHHHHHHHHHHHH” you cried out.
  782. >Rarity was mostly untouched, moved to try and bandage your wounds with what clothing she had lying around
  783. “YOU FUCKING PONIES, YOU NEVER THINK ABOUT THE CONSOQUENCES OF YOUR ACTIONS!! YOU JUST DO THINGS!!! YOU NEVER THINK ABOUT THE COLLATERAL DAMAGE FROM YOUR ACTIONS YOU NEVER EVER DOO AGHHHHHHHHHHHHH” you screamed, the pain removing the trained barrier between your mind and your mouth
  784. >Taking a few moments to gather your self, you try to get up...Rarity had remained silent the entire time
  785. >After bandaging your arm, and trying to stop the bleeding in other places, Rarity had finished....she didn’t look scared....she looked ashamed....its probably because of the outburst you had...
  786. “Are you hurt?” you say trying to control the pain
  787. >”No....I..I'm sorry” she said trying to calm you down.
  788. “No time for apologies, we need to move” you say, heading down stairs with your spear in your good hand.
  789. >You start to move the furniture out of the way, you could not climb anymore, not with the meatstub of a right arm you have now.
  790. >”Let me” said rarity, levitating the furniture out of the way and opening the front door
  791. >You saw no Diamond Dogs, ether they were taking cover in case of another Rainboom or they were dealing with the effects of a sonic boom at close range on their ears
  792. “Listen...if we get attacked....the only way we will make it through this is together.... when we are engaged, I need you to do what you did the last time you dealt with the dogs...please” you quietly ordered.
  793. >Nodding in understanding, Rarity follows closely behind you. She knew that the great beast of Ponyville was in no mood to argue and given that he just used his own body to protect hers, she had no place to bitch
  794. >Moving slowly, avoiding patrols and hiding, Rarity and you finally make it to the Mayor's office....with 5 Dogs trying to get in.
  795. “Okay...here is the plan....your going to do your thing the moment they notice me...if I am lucky, I can take one or two out before they have enough time to effectively counter me, you're gonna have to start whatever you did the last time this happened then...okay?” you say weakly, even with the bandaging, you were losing a lot of blood...
  796. >”Okay” she said, she had a look of worry on her face, as if she wasn’t sure this would work...
  797. >Carefully moving toward them when they were all focused on getting into the office, you impaled one of them...and thats all you got when the the one next to it thrashed you in your bad arm... you fell...but as you fell...you heard it....oh god....its annoying
  798. >Rarity started her 'whining' routine and the dogs fell to the ground, covering their ears
  799. >Quickly getting back up, and stumbling a few times, you grabbed your spear and what was to be a battle turned into a slaughter
  800. >Afterwards...Rarity looked disgusted, you were not sure if she was disgusted at you or the dogs but you really just wanted to get this over with
  801. “I apologize again Rairty...can you get this door open?” you ask, hoping that she can open it without you having to exert force
  802. >”Its not a problem” she said, ripping the barricaded door off it's hinges. There was a whole mess of ponies in there, hiding...thinking that the Diamond Dogs had gotten in, and their second worst fear was walking right though that door
  803. >As they whispered to themselves, it took a lot of energy to scream what you wanted to scream next
  804. “WE NEED TO GET RARITY HERE TO THE MIC FOR THE EMERGENCY SIREN....HER VOICE WILL BE ENOUGH TO STOP THIS INVASION” you say, falling to one of your knees....you were gonna give out soon, you were sure of it.
  805. >”Comeon!!” cried Rarity, as the Ponies inside started moving finally...
  806. >Within minutes her voice was being broadcast across the entire town
  807. >The Diamond Dogs ran...and those who could not were captured with ease
  808. >You were conscious the entire time, but thankfully they other ponies were just ignoring you in lieu of the fact that they finally had their town back. While everyone was busy seeing if everyone was okay, you slowly started to make it back home... you thought that the bleeding must have stopped if you hadn’t gotten any more drowsy  and counted yourself lucky. You get to see Alexandria another day
  809. >”Stop squirming!” Cheerilee said as she, picking up the tweezers that just fell from her mouth to remove the shrapnel embedded  your arm.
  810. >The process of removing the shrapnel was arduous, but was pleasantly surprised that Earth Ponys were quite dexterous with their mouths.  Where you had to personally sew the deeper cuts, the rest was just a matter of stopping the bleeding until a clot could form.
  811. >Alexandria was there helping too, she dabbed a cloth into a bowel of Everclear to help disinfect the wounds.
  812. >”And...thats....it” she said taking out the last piece of shrapnel from your arm while you begun to sew it up
  813. “Thank you Cheerilee for helping me deal with these wounds” you said, finishing stitching yourself back together. “More scars for the scrapbook” you laughed, though only Alexandria was amused. Her schoolmates were back at home and Ponyville was undergoing reconstruction. Apparently the one pony who could have stopped all this, Twilight Sparkle, was in Canterlot doing some research for her studies.
  814. >”Is there anything else you need help with” Cheerilee asked
  815. >Getting up you think for a second
  816. “If you want, you can stay and have dinner with Alexandria and I, but Im going to warn you, Im cooking meat.” you offer
  817. >Thinking for a second, she accepts
  818. >After dinner, you tuck Alexandria in and prepare to escort Cheerilee out back to Ponyville
  819. >”Thank you” she said as we walked
  820. “Its no problem” you replied
  821. >“You should know.... not many other ponies took notice of what you did, except for Rarity...” Cheerilee solemnly commented
  822. ”It's to be expected” you say as you approached the Town limits
  823. >”Listen Anon...if there's anything you need...just let me know” she said turning around. She seemed happy, but guilty that I got cut up like this
  824. “Look, if you really want to do something, come out some time and keep Alexandria and I company...we don't get many guests and Alexandria needs a mother figure, and thats not a position I can fill” you state
  825. >”Well it seems as if you got the father figure thing down” laughed Cheerilee as she and you parted ways.
  826.
  827. -----
  828. Microchapter 4: In which Alexandria tells Anon to mind his own buisness [AAA004]
  829. Yeah, in fact this microchapter should explain why she has slightly unkempt hair
  830. >Its time to get Alexandria ready for school
  831. >Getting Breakfast ready, she finishes her bath and comes down stairs
  832. >Sees her hair slightly unkempt
  833. "Why don't you use the expensive hair stuff I shell out alot of bits for? I buy them so that you can go to school looking decent."
  834. >"Because fuck you?" she earnestly responds
  835. >Stop the Presses
  836. >Mental stenographer, please read back what she just said to me word for word
  837. >Imagine short old lady pulling the paper out of a Stenotyper
  838. >"Because, Fuck, You" your imaginary Stenographer said
  839. "In what context did she say to go fuck yourself?"
  840. >"In that you need to mind your own business" your imaginary Stenographer replied
  841. "That will be all" you finish talking to your imaginary Stenographer
  842. >return to reality
  843. "Where did you learn that language?" you say slightly peeved
  844. >"From you" she starts eating her apple
  845. "Me?" you inquire
  846. >"Remember? 'I found a single fuck, it's my gift to you'?" she reminds you
  847. >But thats not the context that she used it in...did she?.... yeah
  848. >"That and Miss. Cheerilee said it a few days ago to some serious looking ponies"
  849. "What do you mean?"
  850. >"They said that they were hear to asses the defense situation of Ponyville, and then all I heard was yelling and then she said 'Fuck you and the Earth Ponies you rode in on'" the finishes her apple
  851. "Wait....they rode earth ponies?" now you were getting utterly confused
  852. >"No, they came in a taxi being pulled by one" she says as you put her saddle bag on her with her books
  853. "Do me a favor, I don't mind it too much if you use it here in the house, but when you're in public....don't....its gonna bring us more trouble then it's worth" you say chuckleing. "That and try not to use it with me as its context"
  854. >"Why?" she inquired
  855. "I'll tell when you get home, but right now your gonna be late for school" you smiled seeing her out the door

  857. Microchapter 5: Between a rock and a soft place [BAA005]
  858. >Its been a few days since the raid on ponyville
  859. >Your still have pain in your right arm
  860. >Not so bad that you cant use it, but you would rather not
  861. >Alexandria is outside playing in a large barrel of water that proxies as a swimming pool for her size
  862. >Decide you need a nap
  863. >Lay down on couch and start to drift
  864. >Suddenly you feel wet on your chest
  865. >Wake up... its Alexandria laying...still wet from swimming
  866. >Shes curled up, trying to nap on you
  867. >realize left arm is trapped
  868. >Think for a moment
  869. >Softy pet her with your right hand
  870. >Both of you fall asleep on the couch for a midday nap

  872. Chapter 6: Dinner [AAA006]
  873.
  874. >knock on the door
  875. >you wake up a little, then fall back to sleep
  876. >Harder knock
  877. >Who the fuck is knocking on a Friday ni-
  878. >Oh...yeah I know who it is
  879. >Get robe on
  880. >Alexandria is already up
  881. “Go ahead and go back to bed, I got this” you say
  882. >Alexandria looks wore out, and not arguing with you, heads back to her room
  883. >Open Door
  884. >Ohboyhowunexpectedit'sBerryPunch
  885. >”Oh, good morning you fucking monkey, finish pasting your own fac -hic- face with shit? Thats good because Im here to deliver you a message fro...from” she trails off
  886. >”I'm here to...to..” she trails off again
  887. >”I'm not afraid of you monkey, you....you have the town pissing in public...but not me...nooo I bet you caused that rai-rai- raid....because you wanted us to think that you're a good gu..y” she was become more and more incoherent
  888. >Then right on que, the vomit
  889. >FUCK its on my robe
  890. >”I see you a...and Cheerilee....you sick fuck..” she falls over, you catch her before she hits her own puddle of vomit...
  891. “Man the shit I put up with” you say carrying Berry Punch in for the night
  892. >”GOD WHAT IS THAT HORRIBLE SMELL” you hear Berry cry out right after sunrise
  893. “Its flesh being cooked in it's own juices” you yell out
  894. >Alexandria was already eating breakfast when Berry Punch showed herself in the kitchen
  895. >”Um...Mr. Anon....I'm um...sorry I” she stammers
  896. “Just leave” you say
  897. >”Yeah...I'll..I'll just leave” she says trying to close the door as quietly as possible
  898. >”Why don't you do anything about her?” Alexandria asks eating lettuce
  899. “Well if I hurt her, its gonna come back on us, and if I report her, they are just going to ignore me, so all we can do is make sure she has a safe place to sleep for the night” you sat down with your breakfast
  900. >”But she comes just to tell you off” she says playing with her dandelion
  901. “Yes but she is drunk, she needs our pity, not our wrath” you say after you get your first real bite of food. “I want to hurt her, especially the night that she said that stuff in front of you, but here is the thing, control is important.  Control and timing, if we bide out time, maybe she will stop pulling that shit, or will do that shit to a pony of importance, then she will get whats coming to her.”
  902.
  903. ….
  904.
  905. >About noon
  906. >working on plumbing in the house, leak in the upstairs bathroom
  907. >Knock on the door
  908. >”ALEXANDRIA, CAN YOU GET IT?” you cry while your in the middle of fixing a leak
  909. >”ITS RARITY!!” Alexandria cried out
  910. >”TELL HER ILL BE DOWN IN A MOMENT” you yelled
  911. >Shit Ill need to clean up, given her reputation, its best that I make myself more presentable
  912. >”You left this at my home 2 weeks ago and you never came back for it” said Rarity presenting my compound bow back to me
  913. “Thanks...I was gonna get it when I could get back into town, but fixing the house and recovering kept me here” you have a look at the bow....Rarity...made some aesthetic adjustments....fuck
  914. >”Well I just know how much you um...” Rarity looks around and sees Redneck....Redneck Everywhere “how much you like brown!”
  915. >The rustic lifestyle was not a personal choice
  916. >You preferred Neo-classical honestly, but you work with what you're given
  917. >”Listen, if you need any tailoring, come see me, I'm..sure I can tailor something to your..design..” Rarity says awkwardly showing herself out the door
  918. >As she left Alexandria cocked her heard and asked “What just happened?”
  919. “I think we just made a friend” you said, getting up to get back to work on the bathroom
  920. >Working on Bathroom still
  921. >Alexandria walks in while your lying on the floor trying to finish up
  922. >Suddenly she bucks you lightly in the liver
  923. “THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU” you say as she runs out giggling
  924. >Get up as fast as you can
  925. >Chases her outside
  926. >Shes getting fast, running longer
  927. >Shes growing up
  928. >Put that in the backburner of your mind, right now you need to make her pay for rustling your jimmies
  929. >She finally slows down
  930. >Catch her, pin her with one arm to your chest
  931. >Start to nuggie her
  932. >You let her escape the one arm hug that pins her
  933. >Now your run
  934. >Shes chasing after you
  935. >Realizing that she has no real way to catch you, you fend tripping over
  936. >Jumps on you and starts jumping up and down on you
  937. >”Am I interrupting something? “ you hear a familiar voice
  938. >Its Cheerilee, coming over like you asked her
  939. >”MISS CHEERILEE!” cries Alexandria as she jumps off you and circles around Cheerilee
  940. >”I GOT HIM! I GOT HIM!” Alexandria voices proudly while excitedly prancing around Cheerilee
  941. >Eating Dinner with Alexandria and Cheerilee
  942. >”I hope you don't mind me asking...but where did you come from?” Cheerilee asks
  943. >”I want to know too!” Alexandria says, realizing that this is relevant to her interests
  944. >Thinking for a moment, you realize that you haven't been able to talk about how you got here...to anyone
  945. >Guess that this is a good of time as any
  946. “There’s a bit of background so if you could bear with that, I'll tell you” you say finishing your mashed potatoes
  947. >While Cheerilee nodded, Alexandria was swinging her head wildly
  948. “In my world, I worked for a branch of my government where we investigated curiosities that current science, what you call magic, in our world can't explain or quantify. Its more substantial and analyzed then your magic. And as we observe reality on a smaller or smaller, or in another case, a larger larger scale, we can exploit it's properties to make objects that you might mistaken for magic.” you explain
  949.
  950. “In my universe, an experimental to investigate the structure of space itself went arwy and our planet occasional gets 'holes' in the vary fabric of the universe. These holes are not very well understood, but we can quarantine them off, because matter that interacts with these holes... is ether annihilated or it disappears from are ability to observe.” you continued
  951.
  952. “So, we have holes that we can't fix, and we have no way to scientifically define it except by measuring the dimensions it occupies. On the day I arrived, we were attempting to use spacial harmonics, analysis of the underlying structure of the universe, such that we use magnets to vibrate at a specific frequency at key positions around the hole to close it off. If it worked, we might not just be able to fix the other holes, but reinforce the structure of our universe so that these holes would not form. In essence, threading cloth so that nothing fall though it.” you elaborated
  953.
  954. “Well we began, and it went to hell. The hole, instead of collapsing or sealing, expanded at a rapid rate. As it expanded, I made the conscious choice to try and cease the expansion by cutting off the power to the magnetic harmonic devices. I...I made it...but my footing was unsure...but I” you started to shudder
  955.
  956. “I went forward. I cut the power, but lost my footing....and next thing I knew, I woke up in the desert.” you finished
  957.
  958. >“So you fell into a hole and arrived here?” Alexandria asked
  959. “Fell down the rabbit hole...by rights I should be dead” you mutter off
  960. >”Dead?” Cheerilee asked
  961. “When I made the choice to cut off the power, an intersection of two thought processes occurred. The first was my desire to be a hero. Ever since I was young, I would read and watch stories of heroes who risked their lives for the right thing.... and it seemed that the right cause empowered them, if not, they would be dead. I saw them...and to be a hero....a savior...would be the peak of my life....the other thought process was a bit less honorable..”you trailed off and went silent
  962. >”What were you thinking?” Cheerilee asked
  963. “I wanted to die” you whispered just above being audible
  964. >”You wanted to die?” Alexandria seemed a but unracked by that
  965. “I wanted to die.... I have felt guilty for years over issues with my own family...and I wanted to die for a vary long time...what some might see as a horrible accident, I saw as a way to die...a hero” you struggled to keep your voice from breaking apart
  966. “I wanted to die...and I came here instead...when I first woke up...I thought I was in hell... I hated the desert. But my survival instincts kicked in...I was willing to die a quick death, but not one where I died of dehydration...so I wandered until I found Appleoosa...and when I walked into the bar to get water....from my perspective... I had never seen a pony before... I freaked out and ran... it took me months to adjust to the facts. I was on a world that was not my own here the primary species not only spoke english, but was entering into an industrial revolution and had elements of magic...magic, as in affecting matter and energy without a outside catalyst. I spent what I think was two years trying to get home...and then one day I found you on the road Alexandria... and decided to settle down” you finished
  967. >Tuck in Alexandria
  968. “If you want to stay for the night, we have a guest bed room, might be better for the both of us, I don't know about you but Im too tired to escort you home” you offer Cheerilee
  969. >”Yeah its no problem...but I need to ask one thing” she presses on, “What happened to your family that made you want death?”
  970. >Take a few moments to think
  971. >Make sure door is closed in Alexandria's room
  972. “Come with me downstairs for a second...I don't want her to hear this...not yet” you lead on
  973. >Go downstairs, sit down
  974. >”What happened” she can see your visibly upset
  975. “In my culture, you always honor your father. Which means no matter how much of a saint or asshole he is, you always respect him” you elaborate
  976. “Well when I was growing up, my mom and dad separated. My dad would use me to hurt my mom...he would tell me to do things or tell her things that hurt her, and I did so because I was so eager to please him...I loved him....then when I was about 12, when I was over at his house, he told me to use a bb gun, something that accelerates a small metal pellet at high velocities, to shoot at the neighbor's cat...now the BB gun wouldn’t kill it...not at the distance that he told me to. But I refused because I honestly thought that giving a animal welts for no reason was inhuman...well he beat me...he made me suffer, not because my argument was right or wrong, but because I rebelled in his eyes but the thing I remember the most was not the pain but the shaking in fear....I shook in fear for the first time in my life.”
  977. >”Thats...thats horrible” she said
  978. “It doesn’t end there. A few years later my mom got me a dog...my first dog...and I loved him...but in the first month he was doing something he did not know he shouldn’t be doing...and instead of just telling him no or popping him in the butt.. I thrashed him about....I did not realise it but I was doing the same thing to my dog that my dad had done to me...but then it happened....he shook.....he shook in fear and I recognized it...in a few short years...I had become my dad....I tried to comfort my dog and tried to get him to stop...he eventually did...but I think to the day he died...he never forgave me for that....” you looked down at the floor
  979. “I was just as bad a human as he was...and I set out to try and prevent it. Where I once squashed insects for just being in the house, I took them and released them outside....where I once manhandled small animals, I became vary careful when handling them. I knew that at any moment I could break them... but if I did...I would be no better then my dad...then it happened... my dad made a move to get full custody of me.” you stopped for a moment to wipe the tears that developed around your eyes
  980. “I...I did not want to leave my mom...she had grown weaker over the years where my dad had grown more malicious...so I fought him, not with force but with law...and soon I did it. I beat my game in a legal game of wits. It took everything in my being but for the first time in my life I ..” you stood up as to proclaim victory
  981. “I BEAT MY OLD MAN, AT THE AGE OF 15 I OUT WITTED HIM, I...I beat him...I won...and then...he took out his trump card...he gave me a ultimatum... live with him...or abandon him...in essence, he gave me the choice to forfeit my victory or never play 'the game' with him again....he but our damaged relationship, which could be salvaged...on the chopping block.... JUST because I beat him...and I made my choice...if he was so willing to throw our relationship...there was nothing in it worth saving...I abandoned my father...and took care of my mom...after that I always saw myself as half my father....a carbon copy, only meant to perpetuate the rage that was inherent in our blood line...I hated myself for being my dad and losing my dad...I wanted to die because no matter what I can't escape him”you finally sat back down
  982. “Did I make the right choice Cheerilee...did I make the right choice?” you looked at her
  983. >”I..I don't know” she seemed taken back by the sudden divulging of  why you wanted to die
  984. >”But I do know this... no matter how you feel about yourself...you took in a child that was not your own...you feed her, housed her....you might think that your at least a part of you dad...but your choices make it clear” she said...
  985. >Silence
  986. >Nothing but silence after that...

  990. Chapter 7: The Sleepover [AAA007]
  991.
  992. >”I want a sleepover” Alexandria surprised you at breakfast
  993. “Honey, I don't think the other parents would appreciate the idea of a carnivore watching after their kids” you say diving into your cereal
  994. >“BUT I NEVER GET TO BRING OVER MY FRIENDS” Alexandria started to whine
  995. >You did not want to deny her bringing friends over to the house just because of your species, she NEEDS to socialize. But you need to protect yourselves from any fallout or backlash from anything even minor that might arise
  996. “Okay here is the deal, you find yourself a adult that is willing to co-chaperon this thing with me and you can have your friends come over” you propose. “But NOT Miss. Cheerilee, she has better things to do then to watch you balls of energy AFTER she finishes getting paid to watch after you balls of energy” you counter her open mouth.
  997. >You were not about to abuse Cheerilee's eagerness to come around just to satisfy the conditions of a sleepover
  998. >Alexandria just sits there thinking... she is getting smarter everyday, getting clever...  just as you were trying to instill in her
  999. >”Okay!” she says quickly eating her apple
  1000. >Clever little pony
1001. >No Parent would ever come over to your house
1002. >But you didn’t say parent now did you
1003. >You said Adult, and even defined that Cheerilee would be fair game if you didn’t otherwise address her directly
1004. >”Good Afternoon” you hear a slightly excited squee...from Twilight Sparkle entering the house with 4 other fillys Alexandria's age
1005. >Alexandria's class goes to the library once a week
1006. >and apparently had heard that Twilight Sparkle had a sleepover once and connected the two together
1007. >You already laid the ground rules, No playing with the secret basement, no entering Daddy's room
1008. “So you're Twilight Sparkle, personal envoy and student of your queen” you ask
1009. >”Yes, and you must be the local curiosity” she said looking at everything but my eyes... arms, legs, she was too busy getting a detailed look at me... probably to publish or keep around as a first hand account of the details of a human.
1010. “Thanks for taking a day off to help me watch over Alexandria's friends” you tell Twilight
  1011. >”OH it's no problem, I brought board games- a” she was blindsided...by a pillow
1012. >Alexandria and her friends were already at it
1013. >IF you remember correctly, the two earth ponies are Sugar Song and Honey Sprinkles, the unicorn was Jewel Waltz the Pegasus was Rain Runner
1014. >The living room was already a mess when you and Twilight Sparkle got there
1015. >You think you  inadvertently let a force of nature loose in my home...
1016. “....I'm gonna go start the popcorn” you sigh as the fillys help themselves to wrecking your house
1017. >”And then, they opened the Box....and it was the head...of the Candyman!” Rain Runner finished her horror story.
1018. >Amazing... you think that if you tried to calm them down yourself you would have only exasperated the issue, but after the initial high energy period, they calmed themselves down and started to order themselves just fine.
1019. >They had already done the makeover part when they moved onto the horror story portion of the night, finishing up with the pegasus' story.
1020. >You were casually writing down supplies you would need for the next hunt when Alexandria called you out
1021. >”Dad do you have any horror stories?” she asked
1022. “Naw” you tried to wave her off, this was her evening,  better let her be the one to have fun with it
1023. >She egged on anyways “Come on, I know you have to have a horror story somewhere”
1024. >You were about to fervently deny... that is until Twilight Sparkle spoke up
1025. >”You have to have some interesting stories, come on...share with us” she was enjoying this as much as the fillies
1026. “Well...since I've been out voted” you get up to light a candle and turn down the lights..
1027. >But what should you do?...what about, ....but isn’t it a bit much? Naw, they can handle it.
1028. >You take the candle to your face such that it illuminates only parts of it and began
  1029. “HE IS COMING
1030. HE WHO WAITS BEHIND THE WALL
1031. HE WHO WAITS TO END IT ALL” you begin..
  1032. >Bad Idea
  1033. >BAD BAD BAD idea
1034. >Waltz was barricading the doors and windows with my furniture
1035. >Rain Runner kept hitting you in the head trying to find someplace to hide
1036. >And Twilight Sparkle... oh god, she was not freaking out at the story, she was freaking out at the sudden chaos my story stired off
1037. >The only pony who was calm was Alexandria
  1038. >she
  1039. >Was not amused
1040. >You guess that the concept of unbridled corruption that is Zalgo was foreign enough to scare them half to death
1041. >Memo to Self: If they cant handle Zalgo, don't introduce them to actual Lovecraftian literature.
1042. >“That was...an interesting evening” Twilight Sparkle said, she was going to escort Alexandria's friends back home, we made it to the morning but we spent a good hour or so on damage control
1043. >we made it to the morning, The girls went to be about midnight, but after that Twilight Sparkle kept trying to take measurements... oddity of nature indeed.
1044. “Thanks for helping out, come by anytime you need anything.” you say earnestly.
1045. >Closing the door, you see that Alexandria was still sleeping on the rollout sleeping bag you bought just for this occasion.
1046. >Carefuly picking her up so that she doesn’t wake up, you begin to go up the stairs to tuck her in her own bed so you can clean up without waking her
  1047. >She wakes up irregardless
1048. “Did you have fun?” you ask opening her bedroom door
  1049. >”Yeah...” she says tiredly
1050. >Tucking her in, you close her window blinds so that she can get some sleep in the dark
1051. >”Dad” she says before you leave, “Is Zalgo real?”
1052. “...No.” you say, realizing that explaining the concept of group think and hivemind mentality is a bit advanced for her age, but the idea of a being which is corruption in of itself.
1053. >Closing the door you begin the task of cleaning up the house
1054. >You finally got to bed at 9pm
1055. > You stayed up a good 40 hours just so she could have her slumber party
1056. >You need your god damn sleep
  1057. >Then you hear it
1058. >No no no not again
  1059. >knock
  1060. >Knock
  1061. >KNOCK
  1062. >IT BEGINS.IWILLKILLYOUBERRYPUNCH
  1063. >Walk downstairs
1064. >Alexandria doesn’t even bother to get up it's become so routine
  1065. >Look though peep hole
  1066. >Pinkish~Purple Pony
  1067. >Eyes twitch
  1068. >THISENDSTONIGHT.GIF
1069. >Ignoring everything you said to Alexandria about having pity on the intoxicated you open the door reading to scream at her
1070. “BERRY I OUGH-” you said stopping yourself
  1071. >Hang on
  1072. >Identifying Color scheme
  1073. >Identifying Mane Formation
  1074. >Identifying facial configuration
1075. > Color scheme: MATCHES CHERRILEE
1076. > Mane Formation: MATCHES CHEERILEE
1077. > Facial configuration: MATCHES CHEERILEE
1078. >CHANCES OF PONY BEING BERRY PUNCH: 00.01%
  1079. >CHANCES OF PONY BEING CHEERILEE: 99.99%
1080. >PLAN OF ACTION: PROCEDE WITH FRIENDLY COMRODERY
1081. “Cheerilee...its 1am....is something wrong?” you say sleepishly
  1082. >She looks up
1083. >You can smell the Hard Cider
1084. >And is that other smell cigarette smoke?
1085. >”I...I needed to talk to you....” she says letting herself in
1086. “Yeah..comeon in....do you need anything to dri-” you try to be as hospitable as possible, but she interrupted
1087. >”I NEED YOU TO LISTEN YOU...I DON'T EVEN -hic- KNOW WHAT YOU ARE” she says stumbling to the living room
1088. >She almost collapses trying to get on the couch, you catch her and help settle her in
1089. >”You...you” she says trying to gather her wits
1090. “Calm down, just relax” you say grabbing the vomit bucket Alexandria and you so named because of Berry Punch's frequent visits
1091. >”I...I don't know how to feel about you... your a omnivore...a predictor...you eat meat...but you... I see you and your daughter and rarely have I seen a....father and daughter that close...she isen't even your species and you..” she starts to cry
1092. “There there, let it out” you say rubbing her back.
1093. >”Other dads are too busy working or living their own life to do what you do with your daughter... how do you do it?” she asks in tears
1094. “Because I choose to.” you say trying to dry her face with a clean rag.
1095. >She was obviously in pain, can't leave her alone. Well at least you're fully awake now.
1096. >”When you said she needed a mother figure, I was touched that you thought I was good enough....you know why I teach kids?” she was crying harder then before, you took off your shirt to use as a dry rag for her to cry on
1097. >”I'm barren” she teeters off
1098. >Suddenly it all makes sense
  1099. >She teaches young fillys
1100. >She initially was having the balls to stand up to you after Alexandria made her see you as another sentient being, questioning your decisions
1101. >Warning you about the Emergency siren
1102. >She was trying to protect Alexandria as a mom would without getting too close
1103. >And it must hurt all the more because of what her cutie mark means
1104. “I...I don't know what to say” you quietly say
1105. >There was silence between the two of you... she was ashamed that she could not have children but why? Is there something in Pony culture against that? Or is it the continuous knowledge that she can never have a child bonded to her by birth and blood?
1106. “Listen... you're gonna stay with us for a few days okay? I'm gonna put you in the guest bedroom so you can sleep this off” you say carefully lifting Cheerilee
1107. >Carrying her upstairs, you stay with her until you were sure she would not vomit....
1108. >Closing the guest bedroom door, you enter your room and begin to sleep...
1109. >soft tapping on the door....
1110. >Look at clock...Jesus you only got back to be 10 minutes ago...Cheerilee's crying probably woke Alexandria up
1111. >Getting up, you open the door to see Cheerilee...out of bed
1112. “Something wrong? You need me to get something for you?” you ask her...you really just wanted to go back to sleep
1113. >”I...I have a request....I don't want to sleep alone tonight...not like the last few years” she says, looking down ashamed
1114. >Maybe it was the lack of sleep...or the understanding that for some, sleeping alone when they are adults is hard...
1115. “...Comeon” you say waving her over, getting into bed first
1116. >She gets in with you and you cover the both of you
1117. >Trying hard not to touch her.... you did not want to make this anymore akward then it was
1118. >Start to drift off to sleep when you hear her weakly crying again
1119. >You already know what you have to do
1120. >Carefully wrapping your arms around her, you pull her close to you...she stops crying immediately
1121. >Fully embracing her, you can feel her muscles relax, her breathing slow down
1122. >And finally, the both you get some much deserved sleep.

  1124. Chapter 8: Slowboot [AAA008]
  1125. >Wake up
  1126. >Still deprived of sleep
1127. >Holding something warm....whatever it is, it feels good
  1128. >Pull it closer
  1129. >Mindstartup.exe is running slow
1130. >You drift off back to sleep
  1131. >Suddenly sheets fly off
1132. >”Dad?” you hear a familiar voice say
1133. “What” you say trying to find more sheets somewhere on the bed
1134. >“W...why are you and her sharing the same bed” you thought you heard a concerned voice
1135. >Need to make an excuse so that whatever is asking me questions will leave me alone so I can sleep
1136. “It's family” you say “Now let me sleep”
1137. >Then you hear running....the sound of cocoanuts hitting hitting each other
1138. >Man you miss The Holy Grail
1139. >Need to tell Alexandria about that some time
  1140. >....Alexandria
  1141. >Alexandria....ALEXANDRIA
1142. >Welcome to your life please enter your credentials
  1143. >Username: Anon

  1145. >Welcome
  1146. >Fully awake now
1147. >Look at fully open door
1148. >Look at who your holding
  1149. >Cheerilee
1150. >Last night comes rushing back
1151. >You work carefully to get off the bed without waking her, however much she drank, she is gonna have one hell of a hang over
  1152. >This is a sneaking mission
1153. >Carefully try to move around her
  1154. >”Anon?” Cheerilee asks weakly
  1155. > F I S S I O N  M A I L E D
  1156. >Try Again?
  1157. >Y/N
  1158. >N
1159. “Hey are you feeling better” you ask, finally out of bed and getting your shirt on
1160. >”I feel like a cart ran over my head” Cheerilee says, “Not so loud, your voice is painful”
1161. “Yeah, I need to go talk to Alexandria....she found us like this” you calmly stated “And don't leave, we need to talk...” you go back to Cheerilee “Everything is going to be okay” you whispered
1162. >She did not move much or say anything
1163. >If you don't know anything about pony hangovers, but given how Berry Punch acts, you were sure Cheerilee was going no where
1164. >You made sure the blinds were as closed off from the sunlight as you started to search for Alexandria
1165. >You found her outside on a wooden stump
1166. “You angry?” you ask her
  1167. >”I..I don't know, should I be” she replied
1168. >She was processing all of this
1169. “Mind if I pick you up?” you ask
  1170. >She nods
1171. >Pick her up and sit down on the stump
  1172. >Some time passes
  1173. >She is upset
1174. >Give her the time she needs
1175. >”So that wasn’t Berry again last night...” she finally asks
  1176. “No” you said
  1177. >”It was Miss.Cheerilee” she said
  1178. “Yeah” you replied
  1179. >Silence again
  1180. >Silence for awhile
1181. “Im gonna make breakfast, do you want to stay outhere or come in?” you ask
1182. >”I want to stay out here” she said
1183. >As you get up you put her back down on the stump
1184. “Ill yell when it's ready” you said
  1185. >She said nothing
1186. “Promise me you won't run off, at least without telling me where you're going” you request
  1187. >”Yeah, I will” she said
1188. >as you walk you run a quick run though of what just happened
1189. >First, you were deprived of sleep for 40 hours
1190. >Two, Cheerilee comes to your house drunk
1191. >Three, tell her that you refuse to let her go home alone tonight and tell her she is staying with you in the guest bedroom tonight
1192. >four, Cheerilee asks to sleep with you because she doesn’t like sleeping alone
1193. >five, Sleep in the same bed as Cheerilee
1194. >six, finally get some sleep when Alexandria, doing her usual “Hey dad, I love you, but you stay asleep for way too fucking long” routine finds her teacher and dad in the same bed
1195. >seven, you try to do damage control, but how do you honesty do damage control for that anyways?
1196. >Cheerilee is up, and feeling the effects of the hang over had
  1197. >Alexandria is still outside
1198. >Your in the middle of making breakfast
1199. “So you smoke” you start conversing with Cheerilee
1200. >”Only when Im drunk” she starts to laugh but backs off because of the headache
1201. “Alexandria is pissed” you say
1202. >”I'd expect so” she says as you hand her a glass of water
1203. “She is handling better then I expected, normally she would completely ignore me, shes talking, just not wanting to interact” you say “But since she is outside right now, we need to talk about you.”
1204. >Cheerilee looks up “Please don't tell me a school teacher shouldn’t drink or smoke...I heard that little chestnut of advice since I started”
1205. “Started drinking, or teaching?” you ask
1206. >”Both” she starts to laugh again, but it subsides quickly
  1207. >Moment of silence
1208. “While I'm not holding you here against your will, you are not going home, I can have Alexandria give your paymasters a message that your sick and need a few days off, I doubt that they would not have a substitute on hand” you say
  1209. >”They do...and about last night...I'm sorry” she said
1210. “Sorry for what?” you ask, trying to make her feel that her request was nothing to be ashamed over
1211. >”Yeah but asking to sleep in the same bed as you because I don't want to be alone? I'm an adult now...” she trails off
1212. “Im serious, if it makes you feel better...its been years since I ever slept someone else... I wouldn’t mind doing it again if it helps” you say, only to realize you really did enjoy your sleep with her last night.
1213. “Hang on, time to call in Alexandria” you tell Cheerilee, “You might want to cover your ears” you warn her before you yell
  1214. ….
  1215. >Breakfast was silent
  1216. >Alexandria kept eyeing Cheerilee
1217. >Cheerilee, who wasn’t much hungry at all, kept trying to avoid Alexandria's looks
1218. >You on the other hand, wanted this hostile silence to stop
1219. >Alexandria made the first move, she went on the offense immediately
1220. >”So what are you trying to do to my dad.” she said
1221. >Cheerilee is still dealing with her hang over, time to intervene already
1222. “Shes not trying to do anything sweetie” you say putting another apple on her plate
1223. >”Dad shes my teacher!” she counters
  1224. “So?” you responded
1225. >”So SHES MY FUCKING TEACHER” she exasperated
1226. >Cheerilee gave me a 'do you let her get away with language like that?' look
1227. “Teachers are ponies too” you refuted
1228. >”BUT SHE'S MY TEACHER!!” she suddenly stops eating and runs to her room
1229. “...This is gonna take some time” you say to Cheerilee
  1230. >”Yeah.” she says
  1231. >Its bed time
1232. >Alexandria is still pissed, but she is asleep
1233. >”You sure you don't mind” Cheerilee says
1234. “No, like I said...its been a long time since I shared a bed with anyone, and last night...it felt right” you said pulling Cheerilee closer
  1235. >it
1236. >it really did feel right
  1237. =
  1238.
  1239. Chapter 9: Lessons [AAA009]
  1240.
1241. >”So human's don't receive cutie marks?” Cheerilee asks as you cook breakfast
1242. “No, and to be frank, I'm thankful” you say as you start frying eggs
1243. >”Why would you be thankful for not finding the one talent that you're good at?” she asks
1244. “Simple, I see that in your society, one's cuties mark can severely limit what one can choose to become” you reply
1245. >”Well we aren't limited by what are cutie marks say about us, I've met other ponies who do work that  is not related to their cutie mark.”she says taking a swig of applejuice
1246. “True, but from what I have seen, the more difficult a profession, the less likely that a pony who dose not have a cutie mark in that area is seen as part of it's work force.” you counter flipping over your eggs. “Humans, in lieu of not getting a cutie mark, though ether sheer talent or tenacity, can become not only adept, but master anything, all it take is a huge chunk of time” you finish up as the toast finishes
1247. >”Well, it seems a bit cruel that a human child could live it's entire life without knowing what talent it's good at” Cheerilee pointed out
1248. “Well allow me to make a counter, in evolution, mammalian social paradigms have pretty fluid social mobility. By that I mean you can be born the runt of the litter, and while you might be the weakest amongst your siblings, you can still find yourself the alpha of the pack, even if the odds are stacked. Insects with an emphasis on hive mentality on the other hand, if you're a drone...you're a drone. You want to be a worker bee? Too bad, you're a drone, all you are good for is being a drone. To sum it up, an author who's name escaped me said it best; 'specialization is for the insects'” you retort
1249. >What you really wanted to say was the concept of a cutie mark can be just a detrimental to the pony as it can be enlightening, then use Cheerilee's mark as a focal point. But you knew that bringing that up in this manner can be misconstrued as being cruel. In fact it WAS being cruel, reminding someone that their job is to raise other children while not having the capacity to have children on her own. But you did not need to say a thing, every time she looked at her mark, it probably reminded her.
1250. >Alexandria had not gotten out of her room yet, which surprised you. This was the first time in months that you let you sleep in a weekend. And while its was probably because of Cheerilee, you had a plan to reinforce that you did love her.
1251. >She was old enough for you to begin challenging her to think and see in different ways, and you would start this morning.
1252. “Hey, I'm going to teach Alexandria something important if you want to come watch with me after breakfast.” you spoke up
1253. >”Hmm? Won't she get upset?” replied Cheerilee starting on a piece of toast already
1254. “Yeah, but it will throw her off balance, which is what she needs for this...challenge” you say putting the cooked egg on a plate
  1255.
1256. >”Why can't I have my apple!?” Alexandria whines as you lead her out to the tree stump that she sat on a few days ago
1257. “You ate your toast and eggs right? You said you weren’t hungry anymore” you did not want her to be hungry for this, but you needed an incentive
1258. >”Yeah but you just took my apple from the plate before I could get to it!” she remarked
1259. >One of the little nuances you liked about her was how she fought for something even if it the outcome came with vary little pay out. She was in the right, I put that apple on her plate, and she wants it back.
1260. >Cheerilee was behind us, lightly chuckling at Alexandria's tenacity at getting a apple back
1261. >Sitting on the stump, you began to tell her what was going to happen. Cheerilee sat some distance away, to watch without getting too close to get involved.
1262. “Okay, I will give you apple back to you. But you are gonna have to play a game for it.” you drop you smile and lower your tone
1263. >She cocked her head, you never spoke to her in this manner before.
1264. “The rules are simple, if you want this apple, you may do anything to try to get it, Buck me, threaten me, whatever. I won't hit you but I will push you away, and pin you if you give me the opportunity. You can use anything your brought with you, but the moment you leave the area between me and Cheerilee, you lose the game and the apple is mine.” you say coldly
  1265. >”But...I didn’t bring anything...” she said
1266. “Tough” you wanted to make the point to expect the unexpected, that's why you always wore loose clothing and carried smoke bombs and your knife.
1267. >She said nothing, she looked at you like you were joking
1268. >You looked at her back, trying to harden your face so that not one nuance of emotion left it
  1269. “Begin” you said
1270. >The first thing she did was try to make a mad grab for it, hoping that you wouldn’t expect that, you simply raised the hand with the apple in it to a height that was beyond the leap
1271. >She quickly got back on her hooves
1272. >Slowly pacing, she acted more like a cat waiting for something then a pony
1273. >Then she made an attempt to buck you in the knee
1274. >She telegraphed her attack, it was easy to block
1275. >She ran around you and tried to buck you in the rear
1276. >however, using your free hand, you rotated your sitting body such that where ever she ran, she was facing you
1277. >She was now getting frustrated
1278. >She made another attempt to buck you in the knee
1279. >Blocking it, she quickly turned around and made an attempt to bite you blocking hand
1280. >She succeeded in drawing blood, but you immediately showed her the inherent weakness in such a tactic
1281. >You pinned her to the grass with one hand and held the apple in the other
1282. >”Anon...this is getting cru-” you cut off Cheerilee who was only trying to protect Alexandria
  1283. “Shhh”
1284. >Alexandria struggled and then began to yell
  1285. >“NO FAIR! I CAN'T WIN!!” she screamed
1286. ”How can you say its not fair when you are only playing with 2/3 rds the supplies given to you!” you bellow
  1287. >”W...what I don’t have anything!” she countered
1288. “You have your body, and you brain, but all you succeeded in doing was making me bleed, it has not gotten you any closer to the apple” you say
1289. >You slowly unpin her and she gets right up almost in tears
1290. “Its not fair! I...I just want my apple” she starts to break up
1291. >Patting her with your free hand you ask her a simple question
1292. “Did you even think to ask me nicely for the apple when the game started?” you said, softening your voice
1293. >She immediately understood what I meant by not using all of her tools
1294. >She used her body and mind
1295. >But not her ability to communicate
  1296. >”I...I thought” she stuttered
1297. “You thought that because I restricted your perspective of what you could do.” you said carefully picking her up
1298. “Others will use this on you. They will give you choices A or B, when in fact you have a large number of choices. Learn this well, you are never as restricted as others tell you.” you said placing her on your lap
1299. >”C..Can I please have my apple?” she finally asked
1300. >Bringing the apple down to her level, you finally let her have it.
1301. >She only stared at the treasure she worked so hard to get
1302. >”But...how was I supposed to know that you would just give it to me if I asked nicely?” she said, while you tried to dry her tears
1303. “You should already know” you said
1304. >She shook her head as you picked her up and hugged her
1305. “Because no matter what I am, teacher, hunter, or human, above all I am your dad, I will always be receptive to your wants and needs. The bond that we share is beyond this game. Our relationship takes priority over even my life.  This lesson was not meant to show you how weak you are, but how empowered you really are my Alexandria” you said calmly stroking her mane.
1306. “No one can change that, not a game, not a lesson, not the government, not Cheerilee” you say quietly to her
1307. >She looked at you and started to cry again, not tears of failure but tears of affirmation.
1308. “You are, and you will always be my daughter, everything that is good in me started with you” you calmly pick her and the apple up, and with Cheerilee, head back inside the house.

  1311. Chapter 10: Cleansing [AAA010]
  1312.
1313. >”You up?” the voice next to you whispered
  1314. >Its a Saturday morning
1315. >Looking over you see the back of Cheerilee’s head
1316. >Cheerilee has been making a habit of coming over and staying with Alexandria and you on the weekends.
1317. >Not that she wasn't invited, she was wanted.
1318. >When she started sleeping in bed with you, Alexandria had to quit the habit of waking you in the morning, lest she wants to see Cheerilee
1319. >While your relationship with Alexandria had improved, she still treats Cheerilee with a level of erring respect, though occasionally she tries to go for the Cheerilee’s proverbial ego throat
1320. “Yeah, you okay?” you ask pulling Cheerilee closer
1321. >What had become weird had become a ritual between the two of you, while you still loved Alexandria, Cheerilee was the first pony you could call a ‘peer’, no, a friend that you could interact with, without the fear or aggression you got from the other ponies
1322. >”I want to know, whats the deal with us?” she asks
1323. “Well, what do you mean?” you reply
1324. >She turns around and looks at you in the eyes
1325. >”I mean, you know how I feel about you. The night I came here, I was trying figure out how I feel about you, and I was trying to see if you had similar feeling...” she trailed off
1326. “You would not be in this bed if I didn't care.” you said, moving some of her hair away from her face so you could see her eyes.
1327. >”Your avoiding the question” she says looking down as if expecting rejection
1328. >You are at a fork in the road, thinking for a few moments you decide that being with her would only make things worse for her in the long run
1329. >But at the last moment, against logic, you turn against the optimal choice
1330. “Stay with us” you said
1331. >She looks up, putting her hoof on your chest, you can tell she was seriously expecting rejection
  1332. >She starts to cry
1333. “Shhh shh...” you say pulling her close, stroking her hair
1334. >She whimpers as if a great burden had freed her and she was moving for the first time in eons
1335. “I...I..” she tries to form words, but the sheer emotion of the moment is too much for her to convey into language
1336. >Holding her close, the rest of the morning was spent speculating future plans and commenting your appreciation for each other
  1337. >5 AM
  1338. >Sheets come flying off
  1339. >FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
  1340. >Monday morning
  1341. >2 weeks later
1342. >Cheerilee is the most punctual sleeper you have met
1343. >If she want to go to sleep and wake up 37 minutes later
  1344. >She wakes up 37 minutes later
1345. >”Come on, you need to help me get ready...” she says
1346. >While you occasionally take the freelance job of solving unusual problems at the local farms, mostly optimizing land allocation for planting, but you could mosey on out there at 11 am if you wanted, ponies might hire you to do work, but they never bitch to the meat eater about what time it got out to their property to measure it
1347. >Cheerilee however, has to get ready to teach kids
  1348. >5 days a week
  1349. >starting at 7am in the morning
1350. >One of the things living with Cheerilee that you learned is, while you got a restroom setup for Alexandria set up for her to take care of her daily needs, Cheerilee insists on using you...
  1351. >For Communal bathing
1352. >Not that you just wanted to say no, a part of you really wanted to give this a shot
1353. >But at fucking 5am in the morning
1354. >And your body is mutilated
  1355. >Fuck
1356. >This however is your first time disrobing in front of another pony
1357. >You already explained that humans wear cloths not just for shelter but as a custom that show decency
1358. >But part of communal bathing requires that she help in cleaning you
  1359. >Culture clash
1360. >But you know that if things keep going the way, she is gonna see you in the nude sooner or later
1361. >You would have preferred later
  1362. >Much later
1363. >Entering into the bathroom, she already has the water running,
1364. >Closing the Door, you quickly strip
1365. >Looking over, she is shocked at what she sees
1366. >Ignoring the body is that of a alien, the alien is covered in scars, scars from glass shrapnel, a large ass scar on your left shoulder from the manticore bite, and a few other scars from bullet wounds from your previous life on earth
1367. >”So...that’s why you were hesitant to do this” she says glossing over that which is you
1368. “Yeah....I know its...” you trail off
1369. >You not sure how to feel
1370. >Your not sure how she feels
1371. >She looked shocked, and your can feel anxiety creeping up your intestines
1372. >Finally she motions you over, inviting you to join her
1373. >You start on her, scrubbing her back and the areas she can’t easily reach
1374. >Finishing, up at her chest, she starts on your back, using her hooves to clumsy hold the bar of soap, she starts to speak up
1375. >”Are all these...from previous fights?” she said, gulping
1376. “Is it hard to look at?” you reply worried that she finds your scars disgusting
  1377. >You really hated this
1378. >Your not used to exposing yourself to anyone
  1379. >Especially ponies
1380. >You took special care so that Alexandria would never see you without some sort of clothing covering your the majority of your body
1381. >Shes seen your arm and parts of your right abs, and early she had to help tend the wound on your left shoulder. But you always made sure to cover the rest up with blankets or comforters
1382. >You’re about to burst when Cheerilee replies
1383. >“No... I honesty just expected the right arm” she trailed off
1384. > When she came over the first time, you covered your left shoulder so that she wouldn't see the stitches
1385. >She only knows about the right arm...
1386. >”Turn around” she said, finishing your back
  1387. >Slowly you rotate yourself
1388. >Facing her, she takes a good look at your frontal section
1389. >She sees the chaotic crevices that each scar starts and ends with
1390. >She sees every patched piece of flesh, every sign of damage, she sees a abridged version of your history
1391. >Finally you turn your head away
  1392. >You can’t stand it
1393. >”Anon?” she says to you
1394. >You turn your head slightly when the unexpected happens
  1395. >She kisses you
1396. >The anxiety flushes away as a startled shock takes over
1397. >Finally pulling back, Cheerilee smiles
1398. >”Anon... I didn't mean to hurt you... its just that I didn't realize that you have been hurt so much” she said quietly. “Now come on, lets finish up your front side” she says picking up the soap carefully as to not taste
1399. it and begins working on cleaning your right arm first.
1400. >”DAD DO I HAVE TO WALK TO SCHOOL WITH HER?” Alexandria says angerly
1401. “Yes, Cheerilee and I don’t see any reason for you two not to travel together since your going to the same place” you said pouring Alexandria’s Cereal
1402. >Cheerilee was in your room packing graded papers and other supplies she would need for today
1403. >”Hmph” she says ignoring your cereal
1404. “If you want to try suffocating yourself while your at it, I’m afraid your brain will force you to pass out before it allows any permanently damage to you” you say still slightly unnerved about this morning’s bath and unexpected kiss
1405. >She was pondering on a way to get her way, but it was too late by the time Cheerilee finished her packing
1406. “Now come on, you don’t want to skip breakfast, that means your gonna have to wait until lunch if you do” you say helping Cheerilee with the last adjustments to the saddle she used to carry supplies
1407. >Figuring out that she wouldn't win this morning, Alexandria started eating her cereal, but with a serious face, trying to show us that she was not enjoying it one bit
  1408. >This of course was a lie
1409. >She was eating Gorilla Munch
1410. >Who the fuck hates Gorilla Munch?

  1413. Chapter 11: Whoring [AAA011]
  1414.
  1415. >Saturday Morning
1416. >You slowly wake up to feel Cheerilee sleeping on top of you
1417. >After the first communal bathing, you had been a bit more relaxed with your body around her
1418. >Shit you even took of your shirt to sleep now
1419. >You had worried since the night she started sleeping with you that her hooves would beat on you or something while she slept
  1420. >However so far, nothing.
1421. >But, now you wanted to get up, and Cheerilee is still sleeping on you
1422. >Looking at her, you try to figure out a way to get up without waking her
  1423. >Then it begins
  1424. >Morning wood
  1425. >Why boner..
  1426. “Because”
1427. >Realize that if she was on top of you while you slept, she slept through many a boner as the night rolled on
1428. >So either it didn’t wake her or she didn’t mind
1429. >Fuck it, go back to bed
  1430. >Start sleeping
1431. >”AGH!” screed Cheerile moments later, waking you up as you had tried to return to sleep
1432. >”I forgot the papers I needed to grade” she immediately jumped down from you and went for her saddle bag
1433. “Uhg....” you moan getting off of bed
1434. >”Help me get this on” she said quickly, she was borderline panicking
1435. >Getting up, you help her get her saddlebag on, and rushing out the bedroom door, you can hear her galloping downstairs and out the front door.
1436. >”Why do you even like her?” Alexandria questions you as you get out of your room, shaking her head
1437. >You had gone back to bed for 30 minutes but you could not fall asleep again
  1438. >She was already up
1439. “Are we really doing this?” you said walking down the stairs
1440. >Too early in the mo-
1441. “She's a whore” you hear Alexandria say
1442. >Cheerilee is thankfully not here for this
1443. >Cheerilee had taken weeks of insults and character attacks
1444. >It's time to put an end to this
1445. “Alexandria, if I were you, I would I would change what you just said” you spoke giving her a chance to back out
1446. >”NO! THE OTHER CHILDREN SAY THAT BEFORE SHE WAS A TEACHER, SHE WHORED HERSELF OUT” she yelled at the top of lung
1447. >You glared at her, but she just angry looked at you
1448. >Cheerilee did not deserve this kind of disrespect
1449. >And Alexandria had finally stepped over the line
1450. >”THEY SAID SHE DID BAD THINGS BEFORE SHE WAS A TEACHER, SHE DID THINGS LIKE KISSING AND -” you cut Alexandria off
1451. ”AM I A MEAT EATING PREDATOR?” you force your voice into a deep, rough pitch
1452. >She stopped and just stared at you
  1453. “WELL AM I?”
1454. >”No I mean, you... your my da-” you cut her off again
  1455.
1456. “I KILLED PLENTY OF DEER, HOGS, AND OTHER SHIT BEFORE I CAME HERE, IN THAT RESPECT, I KILLED HUNDREDS OF CREATURES. SO AM I A MURDERER?” you finished up
1457. >Shit you pushed it too far
  1458. >She started crying
1459. >Calming yourself down, you picked her up and sat down on the ground, learning your back against the wall
1460. “I'm sorry Alexandria, I...I got upset” you said trying to comfort her
1461. >She said nothing, she kept looking down as you stroked her mane
1462. “Look....The only reason I got angry was because you have been attacking her for weeks and you ignore everything she has done for us. She has really been trying to help us out...” you say
1463. >”What do you mean she's helping us” she said sniffing
1464. “Listen, she helps us get the groceries so that I don't have to go into Ponyville, She is going to teach youstuff only a mare can teach a filly, and she has been a great comfort to me” you said
  1465. >”But don't I comfort you?” she weakly speaks
1466. “Yes but Cheerilee and I have a understanding of each other. Her past is irrelevant, she is part of our family now Alexandria...” you really did not want to tell her that Cheerilee's presence has allowed you to...be emotionally intimate for the first time in years.
1467. >Alexandria stopped cry and started sniffing
1468. “You are my daughter, nothing will change that, but she and I have a different kind of relationship.” you say putting her down.
1469. “You okay?” you ask sincerely
1470. >She nods her head yes
1471. “Go take your bath, I'll have breakfast ready when you're done” you say
1472. >She walks upstairs, both reeling from the undeserved yelling and to let what you said sink in
1473. >When she was out of sight, your rubbed your face, you did not want to blow up but shit...
1474. >”Did you mean it” you hear a familiar voice
1475. >Cheerilee poked her head out
1476. >”I got back and heard you and Alexandria fighting...but did you mean what you said not caring what I did when I was young?” she said, her lips trembling
1477. “Yeah, I did. I meant it all, even the part when I said you were family” you looked at her
1478. >She ran at you, stopping only close enough to put her hooves on your shoulder and kissed you
1479. >Looking at you, she was searching to see if you would reciprocate
1480. >You dropped your issues with the fact that she was a pony
1481. >You could see that over hearing that had stirred something deep within her
  1482. >She needed this
  1483. >You needed this
1484. >You grabbed the back of her head and pulled her forward
1485. >Her legs gave out as you lips met
1486. >She stared up at you, you looked down
1487. >You both locked lips again, enjoying the sensation
  1488. >You heard tapping
  1489. >Looked up
  1490. >Alexandria is watching
1491. “Alexandria, this isn't what it loo-” you say before Cheerilee interrupts
1492. >”Its not what it seems” she says over you
  1493. >Alexandria just looks
1494. >She sighs and heads into the kitchen
1495. “Did um...she just let this go?” you whisper to Cheerilee
1496. >”Yeah...I think she's growing up” she replied
  1497. ….
  1498. >its night
1499. >Cheerilee and you are already in bed
1500. >”Yeah...I did something things in my youth that I’m not proud of” she says, laying her head on you
1501. “Look...if you don’t want to talk about it, its fine.” you say stroking her hair
1502. >”No..I want to talk about it...its..you need to realize...when I found out I could not have children, at the time it was a bit of a relief. I mean, pure freedom from the consequences of my actions. I had fun. But....as time rolled on...my friends had kids and I was just...kinda there” she said in a somber tone.
  1503. “Jealousy?” you asked
1504. >”Maybe...but I think that they were moving on, become more adult. And I was just stuck.” she moved around, adjusting herself
1505. >”I mean I really like kids, but I see it as a bit of a sadistic joke that I can’t have any” she finished closing her eyes
1506. >Seeing that she was done talking about it, you settled in for your nights rest as well
1507. >”Oh anon” Cheerilee says in a teasing tone
  1508. “Egh?” you mutter
1509. “Last night, Do you like jabbing me in the hip or you just dreaming of me?”
