Normally when a changeling is able to decide for themselves what their name should be it's the first thing that comes out of their mouth/what they see/their favorite type of pony/how they breathe/how they say a certain thing.     2.Class==================================================================================================== Changelings are not all the same. Well maybe 98% of them, but for the other 2% you can amplify your changeling-ness by taking -one- of these class bonuses (1 class per changeling)  Drone - Workers of the hive, these bugs are the go-to for general upkeep of the hive.   >Hard - You gain 1 extra hit of damage, along with 1 extra wound   >Lucky - passive; allows crit successes on rolls of 14+   >Quick-hoofed - [in combat] first move is automatic; [out of combat] able to learn exotic things at MIN5  Feeder - These bugs are tasked with keeping the overall health and morale of the hive.   >Mend - heal wounds/cure poison, etc. (2 hits/1 wound)   >Thorough - passive; +2 to feeding; can crit when in the presence of a Drone who has Lucky   >Feed - [in combat] enables crit success when healing, [out of combat] distribute absorbed love if others need it  Slinker - Sneaky little bastards who go out and scout potential food and dangers for the hive.   >Camouflage - blend into the background, can move about without being seen unless attacking/feeding/revealing self; passive -> can't be seen when helpless   >Feelers - passive; MIN5 when doing spot checks/collecting info in local language   >Slick Move - [in combat] recharge 2; can remove helplessness, [out of combat] can break in/out of places     3.Skills=================================================================================================== All changelings get 5 skillpoints regardless of how much Dsty hates the thought         Racial Morph - Automatic; recharge 1; assume the appearance of any pony you've come into contact with         1 Point Mimic Voice - MIN5 when you copy the sounds coming out of the mouths of other sentient creatures Absorb Love - Spell; requires LOVE*; yank love from anypony who has any for you Candy Ass - Instantly become enticing to any and all ponies within the vicinity         2 Points Sponge Love - Passive; requires LOVE*; constantly feed off the love of the vicinity you're in Force Love - Spell; recharge 1; push affections of a pony you have eye contact with, LOVE is created this way         3 Points Dominate - Spell; recharge 3; requires LOVE*; Uses all LOVE you have to take a sentient NPC stricken with LOVE as a pet. Morphing in the presence of your pet breaks the spell; must recast said spell at the start of each new session. (at the start of each session, must recast on pet to maintain control. +1 when casting after 2nd session of control)   *Requires LOVE (weak after 1-2 days w/o Love; excess amounts and changelings might not need sleep) >absorbing LOVE?  your horn glows green and you pull all or some affection the pony harbored for you. getting all means you will be sustained for 2 days, but the target will come to their senses and might see you for the changeling you are. getting some will hold you for half a day, or a day at most; and the target is slightly less affected by the repercussions. Watch out if doing so in public, you might get some suspicious glances or questions afterwards     4.Gender=================================================================================================== Something that you must take into account when you decide to morph. This can be a preferred gender you've seen/know that works, a randomly made gender you think a few weird ponies would want to try out, or you can go genderless because fuck the system.     5.Personality============================================================================================== From a general overview, all changelings are equal. But when you look harder, you see that some take just a bit longer to do something, some like it when their tails are brushed at night, some like to breathe hard and fast. These little quirks define how you behave in the presence of others, what they're good at, what they like, if they'll ever learn to praise the sun. What makes YOUR changeling tick?     6.RULES TO ACKNOWLEDGE================================================================================== 6.1.Rules of the Bug 6.2.Rolling 6.3.Special Classes [IN PROCESS]     6.1.Rules of the Bug  -No crit successes  -Weak at   +fighting (you must rely on strength in numbers)   +flying (membrane wings n' all)   +magicking (not so sure on this, you can use it to change appearances but actual magic like unicorns will cause some strain)  -down after 3 hits: ded after 3 hits while down (you're bugs not pones)  -[+1 to rolls when in a group of 2-5]  -[+2 to rolls when in a group of 6+]   6.2.Rolling Dice used: 1d15 1 critical failure 2-7 fail roll 8 something happened, but exactly what is left to the gods 9-15 successful roll *when indicated: 14-15 will count as crit success; however 1-2 will count as crit fail   6.3.Special Classes - These will be accessed/explained later in the game.
