- How many times can you cast a spell?
- Options; spell slots where you have a set amount of spell tries before becoming exhausted due to forgetting the spell matrix that is being held back requiring the last word to operate, set amount of energy that you are capable of using before reaching exhausted status, *flubbed rolls which result in you being unable to access said magic, other wise can spam spam spam, higher spell rank the higher the backlash effect...

- What is the upper Power level limit in which you can reach?
- Time, study, dedication to physical fortitude due to horn use/drawing upon own body of magic. AI The more time you have the more spells that can be learned and mastered, reworked tweaked and improved upon. Movement of celestial bodies, emotional changes, Death is final once that border has been reached unable to bring back the soul via magic, more mundane practices however can. Shamanism/necromancy however can deal with the soul and body but cannont unite the two into its proper form from before. Control over elements, different subsets of energy both negative and positive where highest teir of each would be cabable of inflicting seriouse wounds or healing them. Elemental powers would be able to be mixed and matched to create subtypes, spiritual magic would include asking for a favor/convincing spirits to assist or even lie to them for an effect to occur. Tornado, localized earth quake, small gout of magma, movement of trees, asking for aid of any nearby animals. Cannot create life without MAJOR complications occuring AI cannot create a new soul can only use old one or a spliced soulbits.
- Is it limited to just the one race?
- No, Unicorns would be more adept at the spell creation and having access to all the spells, Earth locked into primairly material/imaterial schools with secondaries into elements one of their choice, pegasi locked into elemental with secondaries in illusion pending how players rp it out, zebra locked into Immaterial[AKA spiritual stuff] as primairy and energy manipuatlion as a secondary, Bat ponies woud be locked into elements as well as material school [screeching etc etc]
- Are there schools of magic?
- Yes, Elements [Hephaestus/Zeus/Poisidon], Life[Hesti], Death[Hades], Illusion[Hermes/Morhpeous], Summoning[Artmeis], Material[Ceres/Ares], Immaterial[Hera], Energy Manipulation.[Athena/Apollo]
- Elements; movement and use of 4 elements, can be combined into new elemental types, Ice, Magma, Lightning, Steam, Dust, Sand, Metal, Wood, to name a few.
- Life; positive magic usually used to restore energy/heal can restore up to seriouse type wounds as highest tier, also the spell is temporary as it requires bed rest of the recipeiant once the effects of the spell have been in place for a set amount of time. Social interaction is also considered a positive passive type of magic as it allows for the group to assist in restoring the recpiant if the interaction is positive, also included in this school would be postive energy use which is used for noncombative purposes; Sheilds, barriers, santified ground etc are examples of this.
- Death; Negative magic used to accerlate the energy within others cuasing the magic to damage the receipiant can deal derious type wounds as highest teir, the effect is temporary as it can be mitagted by bedrest or the application of Life type magic, The inverse is also true. Social interactions that are negative in scope can hamper and cause the recepiants recovery, also in this school would be spirituality/necromancy in which the dealing of souls resides; Highest set of this is splicing souls to create a new soul highly unstable and unethical, placing and binding a soul to a body, must be a item in which others can hear so as to properly communicate, dolls, speakerphones, hologram crystal etc. Reviving a body with the owners true soul that had passed on would be the highest teir a necromancer/spiritualist can acheive, however sacrifice of hp would be necessary for every 10 minutes so as to allow the soul to remember its former life until devolution into lesser undead.
- Lichdom? Possible.
- Illusion; Magic detailing the senses, shrouding the world in mists so as to shape what others preceive, highest example of spell casting in this school would be illusions so real the mind makes it real via the body taking damage. example a illusion of a Ursa Minor that swipes at you making you feel as if you had been actually hit and half the amount of damage that would have regulary occured would take its toll. Minor cantrips would be color changing, illusion, colored lights, fireworks[image depiction] etc etc
- Summoning; Highest spell type for this would asking for aid of a npc depending on the characters type and the situation at hand, AI a fluttershy type would get an animal, a twilight type would get a magical creature via a portal that can take a few hits, Rarity type would get a intrpeid explorer that heard the distress of a lady etc etc. Minor deveriations of this would include bringing forth something from a hidden location provided its not warded against such a thing, Also inverted summoning can occur when you attempt to find something with a point me type spell, if possible would include something along the lines of celestia beings that could be summoned via item that could be located in ruins or somthing along those lines, spirit speakingn would be included under this with the highest teir of summoning for speaking with someone would be a Greater Spirit of a region say a mountain, smallest version would be summoning a minor spirit such as a small rock. If a bargain can be struck or if the summoner is quick witted enough can create effect that lays under that spirits domain. Aie convince the rock to go for a weak spot gaining a bonus to hit, or to find a way past this door tossing it over the small opening above them. etc etc
- Material; Physical world that does not fall under the domain of the previouse schools above, be it in body or in your weapon or what have you. Essentially the dragonball Z school in which you focus on increaseing your abilities for a price OR unlock different stances that grant a magical effect depending on your innate magic. Also has effects relating to plants, animals other things that have life either in assisting in their developement OR in being able to assit them through own abilities.
- Immaterial; Deals with things which have no substance upon the physical, large amount of spirituality type goes here, highest level of this type of magic school would be affecting the physical from behind the scenes, utlizes large amounts of leylines which can assist by making a random event occur [minor] or making a event intentional [high teir] Also includes utlitiy spells such as search types, magic detection and discovering qualities of enchanted items, can also be used for enchantment type spells.
- Energy Manipulation; Neutral version of energy manipulation primairly TK and its variouse subsets, sheild can be included here as can lances of magic arrows. Highest teir would be able to move one large size boulder, moving 10 medium sized rocks, 200 small pebbles for examples. Energy contructs.
- Are the casters limited to just one spell?
- No, possible to learn one spell that they can declare as their specilization that can be cast with a major bonus, as well as the ability to tweak that spell to their hearts content, howver can exchange the amount of time spent learning new spells into tweaking of specilized spell so as to change a part about specialized spell.
- Is Magic alive in the world?
- Yes in the sense that magic is in everything, leylines can react negativly or positivly pending upon a communities actions upon it, personal spells can lead to interesting prespectives as flubbed rolls or critical success could churn out a entirely new spell type under the same cluase/idea behind the emotional context of the spell. AKA Magic wants you to succeed just have to give it a chance to do so. Simlair to the force or something.

- Magic is apparehent everywhere, inside ourselves, inside each other and inside the land itself, Equestria is a magic heavy land and it reflects that via leylines and how the ambient magic levels affect the techonlogical progess of a province.
