Future plans for 234
Lone Survivor that can possible with therapy be reintergrated into the town
        Possible methods left up to the characters Really
Forced evoulution that cuases it to become a Queen and attempt to star a new hive under the town
        If super bad things happen
Guierrla FIghter by burrowing around as a miner bug pony to attack and needle the town or just escape never to be found again.
        Cant evolve due to lack of resources or something along those lines
 
In regards to food and such, food that is cooked and baked and made by somone has a tiny amount of love in it due to making sure its properly cooked, that is why the changeling was able to eat so much , the excess is sashed away for excesse energy or something. Direct love consumption from the ponies would result in stronger changelings allowing them to be super charged more or less.  
        Did this as I had to figure out a way that it wouldnt imediattly try to nom on you all right out of the gate and showcase that it tries to survive in any way it can
All of this is really vague and I am kinda leaving it open since I mostly relay on the IC interactions to determine what we do with our story, sorry I dont plan things out 30 steps in advance guys.
