1. >Day Trains in Equestria
2. >You are Anon
3. >You wake up and commence the designated morning protocol
4. >You shit and shower, but you could never bring yourself to shave
5. >You love your beard too goddamn much
6. >You eat a bowl of off brand Generic-O's and wait for the daily fetish guess
7. >It never comes
8. "She's planning something..." you grumble to yourself in your gruff voice
9. "I just know it."
10. >You leave your house and start your trek to work
11. >You walk through town, waving to the various ponies that you pass
12. >Fluttershy is still nowhere to be seen
13. >You arrive at the train station and wave at the ticket vendor, a young stallion fresh out of college
14. "How's it goin' Yes Man?" you greet him
15. >"Well hey Anon, I'm doing just fine!" he waves excitedly
16. >Of all the ponies you'd met, he was the cheeriest
17. >No matter the situation, he was always smiling and happy
18. >Hell, even his cutie mark was a happy face
pic related
19. >Sometimes, you wonder if you're his only friend
20. >Nobody else could stand being alone with him for more than 5 minutes
21. >"I do have a bit of bad news though." he says "The west rails are down, something about having to be rebuilt. But that just means less passengers and an easier day! Isn't that great?"
22. >Every time he has bad news, you swear his smile almost falters
23. >You nod and smile at him
24. "I'll see ya later Man, the passengers are waiting." you tell him as you walk away
25. >"Alright Anon, you have a great day conducting the train!" he tells you
26. >You think you see his smile droop a little, but you think nothing of it as you enter the conductor's cabin of the train
27. >You don your blue and white striped cap, and blow the train's whistle to signal departure
28. >The last few ponies scramble on board and you depart from the station towards Canterlot
29. >You sit in relative silence for the first 30 minutes of the trip, but a knock on the door interrupts your thoughts of Rarity's hot, marshmallow ass
30. >You turn to see the door open and a steward stands there
31. >"Mr. Anon, I've got a passenger who said she wanted to see how the train works, can she come in?" he asks you
32. >You smile, you loved it when you got to talk with a curious colt or filly
33. "Of course, bring her in." you tell him as you stand and brush some coal dust off your shirt
34. >He waves in a pony and your smile instantly disappears
35. "Fucking Fluttershy" you grumble
36. >She smile at you and trots in
37. >The rest of the trip is filled with fetish guessing and attempts at raping you
38. >After suffering through two trips with the yellow rapist, you arrive back at the Ponyville train station
39. >You step off of the train and let out a sigh of relief
40. >No more Fluttershy at least until tomorrow
41. >Yes Man waves at you and you approach the ticket booth
42. "How's it goin' Yes Man?" you ask with a smile
43. >"Well Anon, I actually had a not so great day." he tells you
44. "What? Aww come on, you always have good days!" you playfully punch his arm
45. >"Anon..." he says
46. >"Do you know what it's like to be constantly cheery? To have no friends, because everypony thinks you're annoying?"
47. >Your smile fades as he talks
48. >"Do you know what it's like to smile, even when you want to cry? This cutie mark isn't a blessing. It's a Celestia-damned curse." he's the first pony that you've heard use profanity
49. >His smile starts to fade and a tear runs down his cheek
50. >He lowers his head and starts to sob silently
51. >You run a hand through your hair and sigh
52. "Well shit Yes Man, I had no idea." you tell him
53. >You chuckle
54. "And to think that I was gonna come and complain to you. I thought I had it bad." you say
55. >You place a hand on his withers
56. "Come on man, you may not have a lot of friends, but at least you got me, right?" you try to sound reassuring
57. >He sniffles a little and looks up to you, his smile completely gone and his eyes stained with tears
58. >"Y-Yeah, I g-guess so..." he says between sniffs
59. >Oh god, you hate to see a friend cry
60. >You kneel down as you pull a rag from one of your pockets and you wipe the tears from his eyes
61. >He was like a child, you couldn't stand to see him cry
62. >"Anon, why is it that you're so nice to me? Most other ponies just take advantage of my friendliness and push me around." he's stopped crying
63. >You sigh and put the rag back in your pocket
64. "Yes Man if there's one thing I've learned in my life, it's that sometimes all you need is a friend." you explain
65. "Now come on, let's get you home." you tell him as you stand
66. >After a silent walk through town, you arrive at Yes Man's house
67. >He looks up to you and smiles
68. >"Anon..."
69. "What is it buddy?"
70. >He sniffs a little
71. >"...thanks for being my friend." he says
72. >He walks inside his house and you turn to walk away
73. >You walk back across town to your house, the cool night air sending a chill up your spine
74. >You arrive at home and you chuckle
75. >Fluttershy is asleep on your porch, she must've been waiting all evening for you to return
76. >You smile as you unlock your door and pick her up
77. >You carry her inside and place her gently on your bed, careful not to wake her up
78. >You shed your coal coated clothes, save for your boxers, an slide into the bed next to her
79. >You drape your arm over her and she lets out a content sigh
80. >"Goodnight Anon." she whispers
81. "Goodnight Fluttershy." you mumble
82. >You spent the rest of the night
83. >Cuddling Fluttershy
84.
85. Good End
