- >Dreams in Equestria
- >You are Anon
- >You do not awaken, for you are still asleep
- >Without the internet, there isn't a lot to do in this technicolor world
- >So you sleep to pass the time
- >Sure you had magic, but that wasn't very exciting during the day
- >Back to the story
- >You sit alone in a white room, only a table and two chairs to furnish it
- >The edges of your vision are slightly blurred, but you've gotten used to it
- >The dream world is well known to you
- >You sit patiently, checking your watch and waiting for the inevitable
- >You smile as a dark blue portal opens on the wall across from you
- >Out steps just the pony you'd been waiting for
- "Welcome Luna, Princess of the Night." you greet the alicorn as she materializes
- >You make a sweeping motion over the table
- "Please, sit."
- >The chair across from you is now a chaise lounge, much like the one in Rarity's shop
- >The Princess remains standing
- "Or stand, either way works." you say
- >"Anonymous the human, we have been meaning to visit your dreams for many nights, but we were denied entry by a power greater than ours." Luna tells you
- >You nod and stand
- "Yes, I allowed you to visit tonight so I could meet you personally."
- >You turn away from her and a door knob appears on the wall behind you
- "Please, walk with me."
- >You pull the door knob and the walls peel away to reveal rolling hills and wide open fields
- >You step down from the tiled floor and into the grass
- >Luna trots beside you
- "You see Luna, I heard about how you monitor the dreams of Equestria's citizens, and I thought that we might get along."
- >Luna raises an eyebrow quizzically, yet remains silent
- >You take the silence as a sign to continue
- "I read up on your powers, and it turns out that I did something quite similar back on Earth, my home."
- >You snap your fingers and the air shimmers in front of you
- "Perhaps showing is better than telling."
- >You step through the wavering air and you now float above your sleeping form
- >Luna appears next to you and you speak again
- "Back on Earth, I discovered the secret to leave one's dream and travel to another. My physical body remains here, but my conscious is projected outward into the world."
- >You float toward your window with Luna in tow
- >You leave your house and enter the open world, looking up to the stars above
- "I have to admit, the nights here are beautiful. Truly the work of a goddess."
- >You look to your side to see Luna slightly blushing
- >Are all mares this easy to woo?
- >"This is all well and good Anonymous, but how are you able to stop us from entering mind?" she asks
- "All in due time, my dear Princess."
- >You snap your fingers and you both are back in the white room where you started
- >You sit in the chair and motion to the lounge across from you
- >As Luna sits, you talk once more
- "Now the reason I brought you here, was so that we could talk in private."
- >You reach inside your suit pocket and pull out a photograph
- "This mare has presented a...problem."
- >Luna finally speaks
- >"The Element of Kindness? Don't be absurd, Anonymous."
- >You look her in the eyes with the most deadpan expression you can muster
- "You have no idea."
