>Day 3 in Equestria
>You are Applejack
>You wake up and rise groggily from your bed
>Begin the same routine you go through every morning
>You knock on Applebloom's door to wake her up
>The door slowly swings open when your hoof hits it
>Huh, usually Applebloom keeps the door closed
>Before you can investigate, you hear the front door creak open then close again
"Big Mac must be gettin' an early start." you say to yourself
>As you enter Applebloom's room, you notice the bed is empty
>Your half-awake mind works on processing the situation
>Processing...
"APPLEBLOOM!"
>There it is
>You rush downstairs and outside
>You barely catch the sight of your sister trotting down the path to her clubhouse
>You rush back inside and wake Big Mac
 
>You are Subject Delta
>You sit in the tiny clubhouse, awaiting the return of your Little Sister
>You wonder how you've stayed alive in this world without Eleanor
>You need to get back to her. Who knows how long you'll last without her?
>As you stare out the window, lost in thought, you see Applebloom trotting down the dirt path toward you
>Damn she's early, the sun is barely peaking over the horizon
>You hear the telltale sound of hooves on wood as she reaches the stairs
>You rise and open the door
>The first thing you notice is Applebloom, smiling at you as she climbs the steps
>The second thing you notice is the larger red pony galloping down the path towards you
>Adrenaline courses through you as you leap to the bottom of the stairs and pull Applebloom behind you
>The larger pony grinds to a halt only 20 yards away from you, and stares at you
>Applebloom steps beside you
"Anon, why'd you- Big Mac?"
>She looks at Big Mac, then back to you
>You both stare at each other with an intensity that would kill a lesser man
>You were both driven by the need to protect your family
>He scrapes a hoof against the ground, preparing for a charge
>You had to admit, this guy had to have some pretty massive balls
>You were a 7 foot tall armored juggernaut with an industrial drill for an arm, yet he was ready to fight you for the safety of his family
>A tumbleweed rolls between the two of you
>The tension in the air is palpable
>The only sound is that of leaves being rustled by a slight breeze
>You decide this has gone on long enough
>A gust of wind causes the clubhouse door to close
>The slam of the door is like a starting gun
>Big Mac charges forward, head lowered
>You run at him starting up your drill
>You both meet in the middle
>You grab him by the neck and lift him, ready to impale him with your drill
>He rears back his legs, preparing to kick you in the gut
"STAHP IT! BOTH OF YOU!"
>You and Big Mac freeze in place and look at Applebloom
>Your drill stops and he lowers his legs
"Ah don't wanna see y'all fight." she says
>She seems to be on the verge of tears
>You and Big Mac turn to each other
>Neither of you wants to see Applebloom cry
>You lower Big Mac and set him back on the ground
>Applebloom wipes her eye and turns to her brother
"Big Mac, please don't hurt Anon, he's my friend" she says with a pleading tone
>Big Mac sighs and looks up at you
>"Ah don't know what ya are, and Ah don't trust ya. But my sister does, so Ah won't hurt ya."
>Applebloom tells Big Mac how you met, and what she knows about you
>She finishes talking and Big Mac looks back to you
>"Whatever ya are, the Princess'll wanna know about ya."
>"And if Applebloom trusts ya, then Ah do too." he holds out his hoof
>You take his hoof in your hand and shake it
>As you release his hoof, you glance behind him and notice another pony at the entrance to the clearing
>This one has an orange coat and a cowboy hat
>The pony is staring at you with wide eyes a dropped jaw
>Oh shit, how long has she been there?
>Big Mac turns his head and looks behind him
>"Uh-oh." is all he says
>The orange pony shakes herself from her daze and slowly trots over to the three of you
>"Ya lifted Big Mac like he was nothin'. What in Celestia's name are ya?" she asks
>Applebloom speaks up
"Applejack, this is Anon, he's mah new friend. Ah was gonna ask Fluttershy what he was, but she got scared."
>Applejack circles you, inspecting your diving suit
>"Ah can see why." she states
>You feel like some kind of science experiment
>"Well if he's gonna be stayin' on the farm, he's gonna have to work."
>Her inspecting is starting to annoy you
>You rev your drill and AJ jump
>"Yeah, we can find a use fer that too." she says, scratching her head
>That's not quite what you meant, but ok
>The Apple family leads you to a barn near their house
>Applebloom speaks up
"Ya can stay here, Anon! It's closer to the house, so now we can play more!"
>She hops around smiling
>You hope this is only temporary
>This world was completely different from the world you knew, the world you were made for
>You had to get back to Eleanor
>You had to get back to Rapture
