Prompt: “Stay with me Anon, everything will be alright”
 
>You cough once more, giving the floor another few small droplets of blood, before you smile back up to the mare
>You had never though this is how things would turn out
>You smile is broken by yet another cough, more violent than the last
>Twilight, still sobbing over you body, whimpers "P-Please...A-Anon....S-Stay with....Stay with me..." is all she can get out before sobbing once more
>You look down at your body, the large gash along your stomach, nearly cutting your body in half
>You wish you could trust in the lies, but there's no way you're getting out of this alive
>Being immune to magic has it's pros and cons, this being one of them
>You smile to hear once more
"Twi...light....Don't be sad..."
>She sobs a few more times, before looking up to your face, tears flowing down her cheeks, dampening your already soaked suit
>"H-How could I not...A-Anon..." She nearly breaks down again, "I...I loved you...more than anything...more than Celestia....the elements....Ponyville....everything...combined..."
>You look back at her sad eyes, before trying to imitate an expression you would've had in better days
>Better days
>Oh how they came and left
>You'll never forget that night

>You walk into the ballroom, already filled with other ponies dancing
>You make your way through the crowd, trying to find her
>You shuffle through two couples, before you see her
>Her beauty stuns you
>Purple really is her color, in more ways than just her pallet
>Her hair is all done up, and she is scanning the ballroom as well
>Before her eyes come across you, and you both make eye contact, before she beams
>She rushes over to you without managing to ruin anything, until she stumbles as she approaches arms length
>You catch her before she can fall, and she blushes embarrassed, before looking back up to you
>You both get lost in each other's eyes, those magenta eyes always seemed to catch you in a trance
>You unfortunately break the silence with a couch
"You look absolutely marvelous, Dear”
>This in turn causes her blush again
>”T-Thank you, Anon...you look very handsome tonight”
>You slowly let her slide back onto her hooves as she finishes gathering her bearings
>You offer her your hand, taking a bow as you do
“May I ask for your hoof to dance tonight, Dear?”
>You feel her hoof rest in your palm before you look up to her
>”O-Of course, fine gentleco-man”
>You smile gently
>Rarity must’ve been drilling her with lessons before the gala, especially since she knew Twilight took you as her plus-one
>You gently pull her up onto her hind legs, before starting off with a simple waltz
>She’s still a bit short, but you’ll manage
>You both dance through the night, and she never leaves you, no matter how many stallions asked to dance in the few small breaks you two took
>By the end of the night, when you two had made your way to an upper balcony, you decided the time was right
>You got down on one knee, and pulled out the small box, opening up to reveal what you had bought after saving your bits for months
>It was more of a golden circlet, but worked as a necklace for ponies, within the middle of the circlet, was a perfect amethyst, crafted to perfect and able to give a perfect shine
>It was made so that it could be taken out of the circlet, and put onto a string that she could wear around her neck as well, for a more comfortable option
>As she saw it, and you asked the question, tears of joy welled up in her eyes
>She hopped up and down, before wrapping her hooves around your neck in a hug
>The answer was obviously a yes
>You two had gotten officially married soon after, and you both resided within the treebary, before it was destroyed, and you both relocated to the new crystal castle
>There you both lived your lives together in peace
>Spike was like a son to you, even if Twilight was not completely percieved as his mother
>You lived together, happy as could be
>Until recently, another threat had risen
>An ancient power had awakened, and was tearing the world apart
>It was the being the brought on nightmare moon after manifesting within Luna
>It was headed towards Ponyville, and planned on manifesting within Twilight, until it came across you
>It forced itself into your body, after learning spells didn’t affect you
>That must’ve changed whenever it manifested in you
>You convinced them to use the elements on you
>It cleansed your body of the being, and locked it away, possibly forever; after it took a full blow
>But it also broke your body, nearly snapping it in half
>And so that’s what led up to now
>The mare you love, your wife, sobbing in your chest as your feeling slowly goes numb by the minutes
 
>You slowly lift a hand, cupping her chin you gently lift, and look into those magenta eyes you love so much once more
“Twi….Please don’t….don’t be sad...don’t worry about anything….you’ve helped give me an amazing life...way...better than the one I had before….I came here”
>Her body shakes gently, tears still pouring
>Her eyes slightly bloodshot, but still perfect
>Her cheeks puffy and red from crying, but still that of an angel’s
“You are my everything….now….and forever….”
>She looks to you, giving you a gentle kiss, before she gently nuzzles her head into your chest, snuggling herself under your neck
>You vision slowly gets darker, but you use all the power you have to stroke her mane slowly
“I will always love you….Twi...light….”
>Your breathing slows, the light in your eyes slowly fading
“You….are….my….little...pony. . . .”
>Your vision continues fading, your hearing following suit, as Twilight lifts her head up, before gaining a frantic expression
>The last thing you can hear and see is Twilight shaking your body gently, the tears now coming out en masse, as she cries “Anon..? Anon.. Anon!”
>You close your eyes, and take your final breath, using all your remaining power to smile, before everything goes black and silent
>You lose all feeling, and slip away
>Forever
