  1. >Day Good Times in Equestria
  2. >Be Anon
  3. >Wake up
  4. >Shit, shower, shave
  5. >Eat some salad
  6. >God you miss meat
  7. >Salad isn’t food
  8. >It’s what comes with the food
  9. >Although you must admit, you’re starting to get used to it
  10. >And with all the other benefits of this strange world, it seems pretty minor
  11. >You’ve been in Equestria for a few months now
  12. >This village had grown on you quickly
  13. >You glance out the window
  14. >Suns rising
  15. >Time you get going
  16. >You head out at a brisk pace, heading towards the Orchards
  17. >Fluttershy runs up to your side, matching your speed
  18. >”M-morning Anon!”
  19. Hey there, Fluttershy. What wakes you at this time of day?
  20. >Though of course, you know exactly why she’s here
  21. >”Oh, well, y-you know what they s-say! The early bird catches the w-worm!”
  22. >She eyes your pants hungrily
  23. >You stifle a smile, and glance at her with a stern look
  24. >She blushes and looks at the ground
  25. >After a moment, you laugh, and pat her on the head
  26. “I’m just messing with you, Fluttershy!”
  27. >She looks back up, and giggles
  28. >She’s still blushing
  29. So, what’s your guess for today? I hope it’s a good one
  30. >”W-well, I figure you work at S-sweet Apple Acres, right? So you must like f-fruit!”
  31. >You raise an eyebrow, but make no move to interrupt
  32. >”So do you like a-apple gags?”
  33. >As she says this, she pulls a big apple with some string crudely inserted through
  34. >It looks more like a necklace
  35. >You stop walking, laughing and patting her on the head again
  36. Hah! Fluttershy, I’m afraid you’re wrong once again!
  37. >Fluttershy’s eyes grow sad, and she looks down at the ground again
  38. Oh now don’t look so glum! There’s always tomorrow!
  39. >You kneel down and lift her head up
  40. Don’t go giving up! These little guesses of yours always make me laugh!
  41. >Fluttershy sniffs and nods, a smile tugging at her lips
  42. >You begin walking again, and after a moment, Fluttershy wanders off
  43. >She rarely stays after a guess
  44. >Oh sure, she’ll visit again by the time the day is over, but she keeps the guesses a daily thing
  45. >Sort of like a morning ritual
  46. >Weird ritual, but you’ve seen worse
  47. >Much worse
  48. >The sun has peeked over the hills as you reach Sweet Apple Acres
  49. >Applejack is standing outside the barn
  50. >She spots you, and jogs over to you as you approach
  51. >”What took you so long, Anon?! Big Mac has already started working!”
  52. Is that so? Well then I guess we better get to work!
  53. >You ruffle Applejacks head as you say this, smiling once again
  54. >”Touching yur bosses head without permission, huh? Should fire ye for that!”
  55. >She sounds stern, but she’s smiling as well
  56. >You ruffle pretty much every pony’s head
  57. >Even the guys
  58. >You’re tall, even for a human, so you kind of tower over all of them
  59. >It unnerved them at first, but they got used to it
  60. >These ponies adapted quickly
  61. >”Well then, let’s get ta work!”
  62. >Applejack trotted off, and you followed suit
  63. >You meet up with Big Mac, who had already filled a couple baskets of apples
  64. >He nods at you, and moves away from the tree
  65. >You nod back, placing your hand on the tree
  66. >You breathe in deeply, and strike the tree with your palm
  67. >Apples fall, and baskets begin to fill up
  68. >It baffles you to no end how they almost all fall into the right place, but you stopped asking after they just gave you a funny look
  69. >Apparently that just always happens
  70. >Big Mac picks up the two baskets he’d already filled, while AJ picks up the ones you just filled
  71. >For the rest of the work day, the two move the apples back to the barn, while you continue filling baskets
  72. >They’re good at moving things
  73. >You’re just as good, if not better, at knocking the apples out
  74. >It’s relaxing
  75. >Calms your mind
  76. >After a few hours, when the sun is high in the sky, you rub your hands together and stretch
  77. >You only work there part time, so you finish at noon
  78. >AJ comes up behind you, to pick up the last baskets
  79. >”Another good day, Anon! I swear, ye just blast through those trees!”
  80. >You smile at her, and start to walk back to the barn with her
  81. Hah, I’ve always been pretty good with stamina! Comes in handy
  82. >”Clearly! Are you sure you don’t want to begin full time? It would really speed things up”
  83. Afraid not, Applejack! I enjoy working for you; just enjoy my afternoons as well
  84. >”Bah! What’s more fun than apples? Nothing, that’s what”
  85. Hah! I’m not apple inclined as you Applejack. If you ever fall behind on work though, feel free to ask for some extra help. Not every afternoon is busy!
  86. >She smiles, though you feel as if she’s disappointed
  87. >Why must all these ponies be so adorable when they’re disappointed?
  88. Well AJ, I imagine you can take a small break to join me for some lunch? I bet you’re starving!
  89. >Applejack’s eyes brighten up
  90. >”Why it would be ma pleasure, Anon!”
  91. >Before you can react, she drops her buckets on the spot, and trots down the road towards town
  92. >After a moment she turns around, a big grin on her face
  93. >”Well hurry up Anon!”
  94. >Scratch that earlier comment
  95. >These ponies are always adorable
  96.
  97. >After lunch with AJ, you wander around town, enjoying the sun on your neck
  98. >Your mind drifts off as you gaze at the clouds
  99. >You think you see Rainbow Dash flying up high, but she’s gone fairly quickly
  100. >Must be off to train some more
  101. >Only a matter of time now
  102. >”Anon! Darling, could you help me with something quickly?!”
  103. >There we go
  104. >You turn to see Rarity trot over
  105. What do you need Rarity?
  106. >”Oh well, I have a big shipment of cloth coming in, and I could use some strong arms to carry them into my shop and help me organize them!”
  107. So I’m just a pair of arms to you, am I?
  108. >She laughs, and swats you on the arm
  109. >”Oh come now Anon, you know what I mean! I assure you, you will be compensated for your efforts!”
  110. >You smile
  111. >You’re never sure how sincere Rarity is, but she certainly is charming
  112. Well then Rarity, I suppose we should get going then, shall we?
  113.
  114. >You and Rarity are standing in her shop, looking at her new cloth
  115. >God damn she ordered a lot at once
  116. >That took up a good four hours, three of which were purely organizing it
  117. >”Well Anon, this is just splendid! Here is your payment! Do with it what you will!”
  118. >She hands you a handful of bits
  119. >Or hoof-full
  120. >Pony terminology still gets the best of you at times
  121. >You look at them, and have to admit that’s a pretty good deal
  122. >If you didn’t enjoy doing odd jobs around the village so much, you’d probably look into a second part time job with her
  123. >You take the coins from her hoof, and thank her
  124. >You reach out and ruffle her hair, laughing as she gasps and runs to the nearest mirror
  125. >”Anon! What have I told you about mussing up my hair! It takes a long time to achieve such perfection!”
  126. Oh come on Rarity, you still look great. Also, it’s really more subconscious than anything else
  127. >”Well, tell your subconscious to get in line! There goes my next ten minutes!”
  128. Hah, I’ll make sure to pass along the message.
  129. >Rarity continues to fuss with her hair as you look outside the window
  130. >The sun is beginning to set
  131. >You walk over to Rarity, and pat her on the back
  132. >She jumps, and you smile at her
  133. Back patting for you instead then?
  134. >She smiles back, and this time you’re sure it’s genuine
  135. >”That will do Anon. Have a good night, and do be safe”
  136.
  137. >You’re making your way home when you hear rustling in the bushes behind you
  138. >You pause, wondering if you had misheard
  139. >After a moment, you continue walking, assuming your mind is playing tricks on you
  140. >You haven’t had to watch your back since you got to Ponyville
  141. >It’s been so relaxing
  142. >Your instincts must be on edge tonight for whatever reason
  143. >You begin to hum a tune, and soon you can see your home appear in the distance
  144. >Nothing special, but it brought a smile to your face regardless
  145. >After a moment, you feel a rush of wind as something pounces behind you
  146. >Before you can think, you spin around, your leg extending into a kick
  147. >You hear a squeak and a blur as whatever was behind you flies backwards
  148. >You pause
  149. >You know that squeak
  150. Fluttershy?
  151. >You hear a moan
  152. >Oh shit
  153. >You run over to her, and see Fluttershy is dazed and her nose is bleeding
  154. Fluttershy! Are you ok?!
  155. >You lift her up, and her eyes flutter open, staring at you
  156. >”A-are s-surprises your fetish, A-anon?”
  157. >With that, her eyes close
  158.
  159. >You’re in the hospital
  160. >You had carried Fluttershy to the hospital, being careful not to jog her too much
  161. >The doctor pony told you it was nothing serious, just a broken nose
  162. >Apparently she simply fainted from the shock
  163. >They told you that it was fine and that you could go home, but you stayed anyways
  164. >They looked at you suspiciously when you explained what had happened, but asked nothing more
  165. >You waited in the chair by her bed, figuring you should be there to say sorry when she woke up
  166. >After a few hours, you finally dozed off to sleep
  167.
  168. >Screams of terror fill the air, the sky as red as the ground below
  169. >All around, people are running as the horsemen charge through their town
  170. >Their weapons cut and smash as they kill everything that moves
  171. >The few defenders have been dispatched already, leaving only the women, children, elderly and sick
  172. >None are spared
  173. >Two men walk slowly into town, watching the carnage as it takes place
  174. >They do not ride horses
  175. >They do not see the need
  176. >You can only see their backs, but you know who they are
  177. >You know this place
  178. >You’ve been here before
  179. >Below the men’s feet, a mother cries over the body of her child
  180. >One of the men walks to her, cupping her face in his hands
  181. >She looks at him, the tears flowing freely down her face
  182. >With a twist, he breaks her neck
  183. >He stands, and turns around
  184. >The other man walks up behind him, and though his face is shadowed still, you can see his smile
  185. >He ruffles his partner's hair, and they carry on through the ruined village.
  186.
