  1. >Gilda stirred in her sleep, awakened by a loud knocking on her door.
  2. >"Celestia be damned..." She muttered as she slowly got out of her bed.
  3. >'Bed' being the loosest term, a more accurate description would be a 'nest'.
  4. >"I'm coming, keep your damn feathers on."
  5. >She unlatched the dead-bolt and pull open the door.
  6. >The sight before her made her heart drop.
  7. >"D- Dash?"
  8. >Dash was here?
  9. >Ever since Dash told her to leave Ponyville, she hadn't seen her in years.
  10. >After she went home shortly after leaving the town, she was pretty angry.
  11. >She wasn't so angry at Dash, she was more angry at the ponies who made her immediately be branded a douchebag.
  12. >Gilda may not have been the NICEST of characters, but it had taken such a long time to get to the village and she wanted to spend the time solely with her best and only friend.
  13. >She wasn't counting on an annoying pink cunt pissing her off.
  14. >Then she got embarrassed at that fucking party and mistankingly thought Pinkie-Bitch did it.
  15. >It was another case of her anger getting the best of her.
  16. >After the anger subsided, she began to feel sadness.
  17. >She was sad she lost her friend because of her outburst, but then she started feeling hope.
  18. >Maybe Dash would come to talk to her and Gilda can explain her side of the story.
  19. >But as the days went on, the more her hope left her and it was replaced with loneliness.
  20. >But now, Dash is here? Maybe there is hope after all...
  21. >"D- Dash? Is it you?"
  22. >Gilda could not stop the dorky smile from spreading across her face while Dash only gave her a nervous and awkward grin.
  23. >"Yep."
  24. >Gilda jumped her, pulling her into the most affectionate hug she could possibly offer.
  25. >She had never acted this way before, always trying to keep her image up, but she knew she could open up to Dash after Dash had came back to give her another chance.
  26. >”Gilda, calm down!” Dash chuckled.
  27. >Immediately, Gilda realized what she was doing and released her grip and stood back up, whistling nervously.
  28. >”Uh… SO…. Dash, what brings you here?”
  29. >The dorky grin was still on her face, but she couldn’t shake it.
  30. >”Well-”
  31. >”Wait! Don’t tell me! You’re here to give me another chance, here to be my best friend again! Thank you!”
  32. >She pulled Dash into another hug.
  33. >The awkward smile on Dash’s face has now vanished and has been replaced with a frown.
  34. >”Well actually, I wanted to know if you could get some of those meat snacks you always were trying to convince me to try.”
  35. >Gilda froze, registering what Dash had just said.
  36. >”W- what?”
  37. >Gilda stood back, looking at her ‘friend’.
  38. >”Yeah see, there is this guy I like, his name is anon. He likes meat, and I thought you could make some! I’ll pay you, rest assured!”
  39. >This…
  40. >This can’t be true…
  41. >Dash didn’t come to apologize to Gilda… She came to ask her for something?
  42. >All the happiness and hope had left Gilda, leaving her… confused…
  43. >Gilda wasn’t sure what to feel.
  44. >She didn’t know if she should feel angry, sad, anything.
  45. >She didn’t feel anything.
  46. >Nothing.
  47. >In an almost hollow voice, Gilda broke the awkward silence. “Sure, D- Dash…”
  48. >Dash smiled. “Thanks G! I guess I’ll be back next week!”
  49. >Before Gilda could say ‘bye’ or even talk, Dash flew off…
  50. >Tears threatened to burst from Gilda’s eyes, but she stifled her feelings of sadness, choosing to embrace the cold hug of nothingness.
  51. >Wordlessly, she slowly walked into the kitchen to begin preparing the food.
  52. >Atleast Dash would be happy.
  53. >She could take comfort in knowing she helped Dash get this 'anon' guy, right?
  54. >Right?
