Title: Marker Hunt Author: CropTool Pastebin link: http://pastebin.com/tDVGjwha First Edit: Sunday 7th of October 2012 03:34:39 PM CDT Last Edit: Sunday 7th of October 2012 03:34:39 PM CDT >You've been in Ponyville for about a year now >You've met all the nice ponies, from the mane six to backgrounders to new ones that never made it on the show >There's one pony you've never found, but you never really expected to see one of the general's OCs for real anyway  >That's what you thought, anyway >You started to wonder after you caught a glimpse of a purple braid on a pink pony while you were at the market >You figure it's impossible, but the next week you swear you saw a pink unicorn wearing a light blue cape >It has to be the marker, and you have to find her   >None of your friends have any idea what you're talking about >They all swear they've never seen a pony that matches her description >Which is why it's such a surprise when you trip over her in an alley >That cape she wears is quite good for hiding under, you didn't even see her until she jumped up, stuttered out something about how sorry she was >She teleported away before you could say anything >That's when you decided it was time to step it up   >Rarity was happy to make you a light blue blanket of your own, but the special order you placed would take a bit longer to fulfill >You used that time to hide around town, observing ponies, looking for your target >You've figured out her schedule, and found the perfect place to ambush her >Giftwrapped package in hand, you hide under your blanket and wait for the time to strike >You only have to wait a few minutes before you hear the clip-clop of marshmallow hooves approaching you >A quick peek from under the corner reveals Marker Pony in all her pink glory   >She's just like you imagined, though her cutie mark is just a pink rainbow with a heart >Throwing off the blanket, you run up to the surprised mare and hand her the box >Slowly, she unwraps it with her magic >A tear forms in her eye as she pulls out and inspects the silver, gem-studded tiara >"Th… Thanks" she says as she disappears   >A few days later, you get a letter in the mail Dear Anonymous,         Thank you for the tiara, it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I wish I could say more, and I wish I could spend time with you, but the general is over and I can't relive that part of my life any more. As you must know, I've seen some shit and it's changed who I am. I will always treasure our time together, but I'm afraid I must leave.
