  1. 2. AiE: Journey for the Wishing Stone -Anon the great-
  2.
  3. >You are Anonymous, human extraordinaire.
  4. >After circumstances beyond your control, you've found yourself stranded in a bazaar world of brightly colored talking ponies.
  5. >One minute you're taking a late night walk through your favorite park.
  6. >The next thing you know, your waking up in a cramped dudgeon cell.
  7. >After what seems like hours of yelling, someone finally response.
  8. >Well, not so much someone as... some pony?
  9. >A weird looking white horse with a dark and light blue mane shows up.
  10. >Is that a horn?
  11. >I've got to remember to lay off the junk food before bed.
  12. >The unicorn...Your brain almost hurts to even consider the fact you're seeing, much less talking with a unicorn.
  13. >He tells you to keep the noise down.
  14. >This being a dream, you decide to have some fun with him.
  15. A:"Why don't you make me!"
  16. >The pony smirks.
  17. SA:"Well, if you insist."
  18. >Just then a beam of light comes from his horn.
  19. >It's a direct hit to your center.
  20. >Your engulfed by a strange glowing light.
  21. >...then nothing.
  22. A:"...was something suppose to happen?"
  23. >The unicorn's face is overcome with shock.
  24. >He quickly rushes out of sight.
  25. >Once again you're all alone.
  26. >Sometime later, the unicorn returns.
  27. >This time, however, he is not alone.
  28. >He brings another unicorn, this one also white but is much larger.
  29. >This one also has wings.
  30. >Still confirmed for crazy.
  31. >This one appears to be more feminine, with a translucent multi colored mane.
  32. >It's almost... hypnotic.
  33. C:"Who are you, strange one?"
  34. >Her voice is kind, somewhat soothing.
  35. A:"I'm Anonymous. Where am I?"
  36. C:"Anonymous, what a funny name."
  37. >She says in a cheerful tone.
  38. >You are less than amused.
  39. C:"This is Canterlot dungeon. You are currently our 'guest'.
  40. A:"You've got a pretty messed up sense of humor for a talking horse."
  41. >Your comment didn't sit well with the male unicorn.
  42. SA:"You watch your mouth when referring to the princess!"
  43. A:"Princess?"
  44. >The winged unicorn nods.
  45. C:"I am princess Celestia, ruler of all of Equestria. You've already met Shinning Armor."
  46. A:"Heh, and you said I had the funny name."
  47. >Shinning Armor's eyes narrow.
  48. >Celestia only laughs.
  49. C:"My Anonymous, you have quite the rebellious spirit. If I may ask, where do you come from?"
  50. A:"Um, Earth I guess. I don't suppose you've heard of it?"
  51. >Celestia shakes her head.
  52. C:"I can't say that I have. How did you get here from this 'Earth'?"
  53. >Anon lets out a tired sigh.
  54. A:"I was hoping you could tell me."
  55. >There is a brief silence.
  56. A:"Princess Celestia?"
  57. C:"Yes, Anonymous?"
  58. A:"This... isn't a dream is it?"
  59. C:"...No, Anonymous. I don't believe so."
  60. >You slump down, sitting on you tiny horse bed.
  61. A:"I was afraid you'd say that."
  62.
  63. >A few weeks have passed.
  64. >Your still in your little pony dungeon.
  65. >Not much to do but sit around and catch up on your sleep.
  66. >The highlight of your day is eating and giving Shinning Armor the business.
  67. >Boy, does he hate you.
  68. >This amuses you to no end.
  69. >Occasionally princess Sunbutt, as you affectionately named her, would stop in for her usual Q&A session.
  70. >She would ask you about this and that.
  71. >Where you lived, what life was like back home, your friends and family.
  72. >You tell her pretty much what you think she wants to hear, as well as regaling her on some of your favorite movies.
  73. >She would occasionally attempt a magic spell or two.
  74. >Apparently magic really exist in this world.
  75. >Not only that, but you have some sort of immunity to it.
  76. >Same routine day in, day out.
  77. >The one day, the door to your cell opens.
  78. >Shinning armor is waiting for you and asks you to follow him.
  79. >He escorts you, along with four armored ponies with spears, through the castle.
  80. >This place is HUGE!
  81. >Definitely bigger than than your cozy little pony prison.
  82. >They lead you to the throne room.
  83. >Perch on top of a large golden throne was Celestia.
  84. >She proposes that I could leave the dungeons and stay in that palace in exchange for leaving Shinning Armor and the royal guards in peace.
  85. >You give a smug glance at Shinning.
  86. >He avoids you gaze.
  87. >Looks like you've finally worn him down.
  88. >You agree to the princess's terms.
  89. >You're still forbidden to leave the castle grounds, but at least you have plenty of room to stretch you legs.
  90. >She has even given you access to the royal archives.
  91. >It's not the internet, but beggars can't be chooser.
  92. >And so life goes on.
  93. >Months have passed as you now reside in a pretty swanky guest room.
  94. >Your meals are brought to you three times a day.
  95. >You spend your days either in the royal garden, lounging under this massive oak tree, or cooped up in the archives learning about this alien world.
  96. >Celestia still looks forward to your 'stories' of your home world.
  97. >Someday you plan of telling her the ending to Empire Strikes Back.
  98. >All and all, not such a bad life.
  99. >Even still, you find yourself waking in a cold sweat in the middle of the night.
  100. >No matter how good your life is here, you can't help but miss your old life.
  101. >It's still hard to believe that you'd never seen your loved ones again.
  102. >Everything you cared about is gone, like they never existed.
  103. >The thought depresses you, but there's no point of dwelling on it.
  104. >One night, as you walk the halls of the palace un able to sleep.
  105. >You find yourself being drawn to the archives.
  106. >You begin collecting books to read, stacking them in your arms.
  107. >Your then notice a book high up on the shelf.
  108. >You place the books you've collected on a nearby table and begin to climb.
  109. >The librarian was a pegasus, so there were no ladders for you to use.
  110. >You've almost reach the top when you feel the bookshelf begin to wobble.
  111. >You quickly jump down and take cover just in time for the self to fall over.
  112. >The shelves beside it begin to topple over like dominos, creating a huge mess of books.
  113. >That pegasus isn't going to be happy with you once she sees this mess you've made.
  114. >It was then you notice something.
  115. >Behind the shelf you knocked over was some sort of compartment.
  116. >inside was a golden horseshoe attach to the wall.
  117. >You reach out to it and touch it.
  118. >You hear some kind of mechanical noise, like the turning of gears as the compartment opens.
  119. >Within sits a dusty old book, much older than the books and scrolls you've been reading.
  120. >You feel a chill in the air as you pick up the book and begin to read.
  121. >The first thing you notice is that it isn't written in pony language.
  122. >It looked older and more complex, almost like hieroglyphics.
  123. >Stranger still is that you understand what it says.
  124. >You begin to speed read through the book when you are suddenly interrupted by a familiar annoyed voice.
  125. SA:"What in Equestria have you done!"
  126. >Shinning Armor is standing at the entrance of the archives with half of the royal guard.
  127. SA:"When the princess hears about this, she'll send you back to the dungeons so fast-"
  128. A:"Yeah great, put a move on it will ya.
  129. >You respond while still reading through your latest discovery.
  130. A:"While your at it, you might want to inform her on what i just found."
  131. SA:"Oh really, and what's that?"
  132. >You hold open you book, showing Shinning a passage that has caught your interest.
  133. >On the page is an illustration of a magical relic.
  134. >You grin as you reveal to the captain of the royal guard of your discovery.
  135. A:"My ticket home."
