Author: Cinco_Writesday Pastebin link: http://pastebin.com/J60YQdfD First Edit: Friday 13th of September 2013 10:19:08 AM CDT Last Edit: Friday 13th of September 2013 10:19:08 AM CDT >You calmly wake up, finding yourself with a leg around your back and a hoof stroking through your mane >The steady rise and fall of whatever is holding you almost puts you back to sleep, but once Orange starts talking you know it's too late for that >"Is Anny feeling any better?" >The question brings you back to that freak >And for a split second, you aren't in the arms... Legs... Whatever of Orange >You're back in that embrace with Cotton >Then the hoof goes back into your mane and repeats its course down >Relief washes over you as return to your new mother >"Not quite yet? Here, let mommy kiss it better." >She leans down and kisses you on the top of the head >It physically did nothing, the area didn't even hurt anymore >But just the thought was nice >You look up and smile at her >She returns the smile >Realizing where exactly you are on her, you quickly place your ear against her chest >That thumping is as great as it was the first time >You're more than content to just sit here like this forever >And Orange seems on board with that, for the time being at least >You aren't sure how long you sat there, mane being caressed, heart beating, until Orange's stomach grumbles >You look up at her and she looks down at you >"You hungry too, sweetie?" >While you don't feel too hungry, you're sure that you can go for something to ea- Oh right it's just milk >*What happened to that Whatchamacallit?* >She takes your lack of a response as a yes and stands up, placing you on her back as she heads into the kitchen >The usual process goes on, you're fed your bottle, she has a sandwich today, jokes are made at your expense as she cleans some missed milk up off of you >Then it's back to cuddling, which is always great >Though she does change it up a bit and pulls out an old photo album >Most of the pictures in it are black and white >She tells you who various relatives of hers are and you're pretty sure she says that three different ponies are Blue's dad >Or as she calls them "Pappy on daddy's side" >There's pictures of them mostly doing things with clouds, though there's a few of them helping out the non-flying ponies >And then there's a Griffon with one of your uncles and the two are great friends >You hope there won't be a test on this, because for every pony you sort of remember, there's at least twenty that you're sure you napped through >By the time she finishes going through your, evidently huge, family tree it's time for dinner >Bottle and soup, which she gives you a taste of and it's pretty good, a bit hot even after all of the warm milk you drink >Then it was time for bath time which went like it did the first time but you got to play with the rubber ducky again >And once you were all nice and clean, she decided to call it an early night and leave some soup in the pot for Blue when he got back >And the two of you went to sleep >While it was nice getting to spend time alone with Orange, you found yourself sort of missing Blue as you drifted to sleep that night
