Running On Empty

Day 28

 

Potter's wheel arrived and I'm making good progress on the new Kiln, should be finished by the end of tonight. Would've been yesterday but I was helping out Cookie and Mary at the clinic. I don't regret it.

Drew up sketches for some sculpting tools and dropped them off at the forge to see if Strong Metal could make 'em.

 

My problem now is clay, as in lack of clay. I'll be planning to head for a little excursion along the river coast up north and mark down any deposits I come across, if any. Hopefully there'll be enough miners to help out.

Failing that I could just borrow a cart and pickaxe myself, and spend a day or two up there. Seems like a nice enough location. But appearances can be deceiving.

.....just realised I have next to no weapons after I turned in my guard armor and Spear.

Maybe I'll ask Strong to forge something alongside those tools.
