Day 23

Well, I finally got a job as an engineer. Yay!

 

I wrote a good page in this journal earlier, but I spilled ink all over it. It takes *forever* to write with my mouth, so I'll just do a quick summary on my thoughts and activities so far.

 

Suggested we build a water tower.

Designed/Built/Tested a one-person crossbow. (Auto-loading part occasionally doesn't work)

Began work on large, alcohol-powered flamethrower.

Realized flamethrowers require a metal tank.

The government here isn't very organized. I have to go to town hall and ask around for new projects.

I'm getting better at using my magic, but still have no idea how it works.
