- Chapter 15
- >You wake up in Canterlot Castle.
- >You're in a bedroom.
- >It's very luxurious.
- >You see a guard enter through the door.
- >"The princess will see you now."
- >Fuck, no good morning?
- >Not even a hello?
- >You get up and follow him.
- >You're so used to the library.
- >You've lived there for two years now.
- >Being in the castle is daunting.
- >It's so big.
- >You could get lost. Very easily.
- >The guard takes you to the throne room.
- >Princess Celestia looks up at you.
- >"Good morning Anonymous. I apologize for not being able to see you last night. My sister and I were attending to rather urgent matters."
- "It's quite alright."
- >You yawn.
- >"Twilight wrote that you had a request?"
- >You blink.
- >Yeah.
- >That's right.
- "I need a place to stay."
- >"I... do not understand. Aren't you staying in the library with Twilight?
- "Yeah."
- >"... Is the library not suitable to your needs?"
- >You shake your head.
- >"The library is fine... it's just that I think it's time for a change of pace."
- >The princess stands up.
- >"I see."
- "It's been two years Princess. I just don't feel right having Twilight take care of me. I love her to death, but I'm... 18 years old. On Earth, I'd be considered an adult."
- >She looks at you.
- >"You wish to live by yourself?"
- "If... that's not too much trouble?"
- >"I understand. I'll have a suitable home built for you in Ponyville."
- >You stare at her.
- >She's just going to give you a house?
- >That's not what you had in mind.
- >She looks at you expectantly.
- >"You don't want a house?"
- "No. Well, yes. Sort of. I-..."
- >You've accepted the fact that you're probably not going to go home.
- >You take a deep breath.
- >"I'd like to request a home. A place that I can call my own. And I'm prepared to pay you back for it, whatever the cost."
- >"Then I will have a place built for you by tomorrow."
- "I don't want you to just hand me a house!"
- >"Anonymous, you've been brought to a world that is not your own. It's my duty to provide for you while we search for a way back."
- >You groan.
- "If you're just going to give me a place to live, I might as well live here!"
- >You yell.
- >Your voice echoes off the walls of the chamber.
- >Celestia raises an eyebrow.
- >"You wish to live in the castle?"
- >She's not being serious, is she?
- >"That can be arranged."
- >You facepalm.
- >Why is she so desperate to satisfy you?
- >So what if you were the only human in Equestria, that doesn't mean you had to be given a royal pampering.
- >You blink.
- >Suddenly it clicks.
- "You don't know how to send me home, do you?"
- >Celestia looks at you carefully and slowly nods.
- >She says nothing.
- "You don't have to do this for me."
- >"I only wish for you to be properly cared for Anonymous. That is all I can do."
- >You sigh.
- >You admit defeat.
- >You guess you'll just have to pay her back in your way.
- >"Can you at least make the house more... my size?"
- >She nods.
- >Celestia looks out the window.
- >You can see it in her actions.
- >The way that she's talking to you.
- >The way that she looks at you.
- >She feels guilty that she can't find you a way back.
- "Princess? Please, just keep looking, okay?"
- >She looks at you and nods.
- >"Is there anything else you need?"
- >You shake your head.
- >"Alright. I'll have a ride prepared for you back to Ponyville."
- >You walk out of the throne room.
- >Damn.
- >Well, you have a house now.
- >Fuck...
- >You don't really like being given gifts.
- >You usually just grin and bear it for small simple gifts.
- >But a house?
- >How much does a house even cost in bits?
- >You sigh.
- >You're going to need to find a job soon.
- >A job, huh?
- >You've never been trained in any particular job.
- >You've only done small things like chores around the house.
- >Never a full job.
- >You were going to go to college.
- >Too late for that now.
- >You step out the main doors of the castle.
- >You spot the chariot.
- >Two winged stallions nod at you.
- "Ponyville please."
- >You lean against the side and stare into the landscape below.
- >Damn.
- >You're really high up.
- >And traveling fast.
- >You wonder if the pegasi would be quick enough to catch you if you jumped off.
- >You spot a low hanging cloud.
- >The pegasi take you right through it.
- >Great.
- >You start wringing out your hair.
- >Thankfully, the sun was shining.
- >You let your body soak in the rays and let yourself dry.
- >You spot a flock of birds near a river taking off.
- >For some inexplicable reason, you get the feeling that one of them will hit you in the head.
- >You duck down into your seat.
- >Sure enough, birds are flying by your head.
- >They pass by quickly.
- >Hold on.
- >You hear a squawk behind you and duck down.
- >A small young bird passes, flapping it's wings frantically, trying to catch up with the rest of them.
- >A few of it's tail feathers look ruffled and out of shape.
- >Must have injured itself.
- >You admire its enthusiasm and cheer inwardly for it.
- >For what it's worth, Equestria sure was beautiful.
- >You see a few clouds in the distance being pushed aside by a pony in the sky.
- >Equestria is beautiful and magical.
- >You give a sigh.
- >You feel something lodge itself in the back of your throat.
- >You start choking.
- >You cough.
- >You think you just swallowed a fly.
- >Yeah.
- >Yep, that's gross.
- >You feel a tickle in the back of your throat and cough a few more times.
- >Ignore it.
- >Just don't think about it.
- >That there's a buzzing little bug inside your stomach right now.
- >Okay, yeah, that's not working.
- >You stare out at the scenery to divert your attention.
- >Ponyville starts coming into view.
- >As the chariot starts to descend, you hear a high pitched whine.
- >It's coming from your stomach.
- >You look at yourself in shock.
- >It's not a whine.
- >It's a high pitched scream.
- >Is that the fly?
- >You feel your belly lurch forward.
- >Ow.
- >What the fuck?
- >Something is sliding and kicking in your stomach.
- >Your belly starts expanding.
- >What's going on?
- >Is someone using magic on you?
- >You feel your body stretch, to the point where it feels like you're being ripped in half from the bottom up.
- >Something slimy is working its way out of you.
- >You scream in pain as a snake head splits through your jeans.
- >You're giving birth to a monster.
- >The snake constricts your legs together.
- >You lose your balance and fall backwards.
- >Out of the chariot
- >You flail in freefall and scream.
- >You notice the chariot keeps traveling along its steady decline.
- >The pegasi aren't coming to get you.
- >They haven't even noticed you.
- >The sky turns dark.
- >You tremble.
- >As the ground gets closer, you feel another bulge move around in your body.
- >A second snake head spawns from you.
- >It slides up your chest.
- >You stare into its eyes and see a pair of red, ghostly eyes, stare back.
- >Your back shatters against the surface of water.
- >Water?
- >What?
- >You gasp for air, trying to breathe.
- >The snake bites your neck.
- >You feel its venom coursing through your body.
- >Draining you of life.
- >The world slowly goes black.
