  1. Chapter 15
  2.
  3. >You wake up in Canterlot Castle.
  4. >You're in a bedroom.
  5. >It's very luxurious.
  6. >You see a guard enter through the door.
  7. >"The princess will see you now."
  8. >Fuck, no good morning?
  9. >Not even a hello?
  10. >You get up and follow him.
  11. >You're so used to the library.
  12. >You've lived there for two years now.
  13. >Being in the castle is daunting.
  14. >It's so big.
  15. >You could get lost. Very easily.
  16. >The guard takes you to the throne room.
  17. >Princess Celestia looks up at you.
  18. >"Good morning Anonymous. I apologize for not being able to see you last night. My sister and I were attending to rather urgent matters."
  19. "It's quite alright."
  20. >You yawn.
  21. >"Twilight wrote that you had a request?"
  22. >You blink.
  23. >Yeah.
  24. >That's right.
  25. "I need a place to stay."
  26. >"I... do not understand. Aren't you staying in the library with Twilight?
  27. "Yeah."
  28. >"... Is the library not suitable to your needs?"
  29. >You shake your head.
  30. >"The library is fine... it's just that I think it's time for a change of pace."
  31. >The princess stands up.
  32. >"I see."
  33. "It's been two years Princess. I just don't feel right having Twilight take care of me. I love her to death, but I'm... 18 years old. On Earth, I'd be considered an adult."
  34. >She looks at you.
  35. >"You wish to live by yourself?"
  36. "If... that's not too much trouble?"
  37. >"I understand. I'll have a suitable home built for you in Ponyville."
  38. >You stare at her.
  39. >She's just going to give you a house?
  40. >That's not what you had in mind.
  41. >She looks at you expectantly.
  42. >"You don't want a house?"
  43. "No. Well, yes. Sort of. I-..."
  44. >You've accepted the fact that you're probably not going to go home.
  45. >You take a deep breath.
  46. >"I'd like to request a home. A place that I can call my own. And I'm prepared to pay you back for it, whatever the cost."
  47. >"Then I will have a place built for you by tomorrow."
  48. "I don't want you to just hand me a house!"
  49. >"Anonymous, you've been brought to a world that is not your own. It's my duty to provide for you while we search for a way back."
  50.
  51. >You groan.
  52. "If you're just going to give me a place to live, I might as well live here!"
  53. >You yell.
  54. >Your voice echoes off the walls of the chamber.
  55. >Celestia raises an eyebrow.
  56. >"You wish to live in the castle?"
  57. >She's not being serious, is she?
  58. >"That can be arranged."
  59. >You facepalm.
  60. >Why is she so desperate to satisfy you?
  61. >So what if you were the only human in Equestria, that doesn't mean you had to be given a royal pampering.
  62. >You blink.
  63. >Suddenly it clicks.
  64. "You don't know how to send me home, do you?"
  65. >Celestia looks at you carefully and slowly nods.
  66. >She says nothing.
  67. "You don't have to do this for me."
  68. >"I only wish for you to be properly cared for Anonymous. That is all I can do."
  69. >You sigh.
  70. >You admit defeat.
  71. >You guess you'll just have to pay her back in your way.
  72. >"Can you at least make the house more... my size?"
  73. >She nods.
  74.
  75. >Celestia looks out the window.
  76. >You can see it in her actions.
  77. >The way that she's talking to you.
  78. >The way that she looks at you.
  79. >She feels guilty that she can't find you a way back.
  80. "Princess? Please, just keep looking, okay?"
  81. >She looks at you and nods.
  82. >"Is there anything else you need?"
  83. >You shake your head.
  84. >"Alright. I'll have a ride prepared for you back to Ponyville."
  85. >You walk out of the throne room.
  86. >Damn.
  87. >Well, you have a house now.
  88. >Fuck...
  89. >You don't really like being given gifts.
  90. >You usually just grin and bear it for small simple gifts.
  91. >But a house?
  92. >How much does a house even cost in bits?
  93. >You sigh.
  94. >You're going to need to find a job soon.
  95. >A job, huh?
  96. >You've never been trained in any particular job.
  97. >You've only done small things like chores around the house.
  98. >Never a full job.
  99. >You were going to go to college.
  100. >Too late for that now.
  101. >You step out the main doors of the castle.
  102. >You spot the chariot.
  103. >Two winged stallions nod at you.
  104. "Ponyville please."
  105.
  106. >You lean against the side and stare into the landscape below.
  107. >Damn.
  108. >You're really high up.
  109. >And traveling fast.
  110. >You wonder if the pegasi would be quick enough to catch you if you jumped off.
  111. >You spot a low hanging cloud.
  112. >The pegasi take you right through it.
  113. >Great.
  114. >You start wringing out your hair.
  115. >Thankfully, the sun was shining.
  116. >You let your body soak in the rays and let yourself dry.
  117. >You spot a flock of birds near a river taking off.
  118. >For some inexplicable reason, you get the feeling that one of them will hit you in the head.
  119. >You duck down into your seat.
  120. >Sure enough, birds are flying by your head.
  121. >They pass by quickly.
  122. >Hold on.
  123. >You hear a squawk behind you and duck down.
  124. >A small young bird passes, flapping it's wings frantically, trying to catch up with the rest of them.
  125. >A few of it's tail feathers look ruffled and out of shape.
  126. >Must have injured itself.
  127. >You admire its enthusiasm and cheer inwardly for it.
  128. >For what it's worth, Equestria sure was beautiful.
  129. >You see a few clouds in the distance being pushed aside by a pony in the sky.
  130. >Equestria is beautiful and magical.
  131. >You give a sigh.
  132. >You feel something lodge itself in the back of your throat.
  133. >You start choking.
  134. >You cough.
  135. >You think you just swallowed a fly.
  136. >Yeah.
  137. >Yep, that's gross.
  138. >You feel a tickle in the back of your throat and cough a few more times.
  139. >Ignore it.
  140. >Just don't think about it.
  141. >That there's a buzzing little bug inside your stomach right now.
  142. >Okay, yeah, that's not working.
  143. >You stare out at the scenery to divert your attention.
  144. >Ponyville starts coming into view.
  145.
  146. >As the chariot starts to descend, you hear a high pitched whine.
  147. >It's coming from your stomach.
  148. >You look at yourself in shock.
  149. >It's not a whine.
  150. >It's a high pitched scream.
  151. >Is that the fly?
  152. >You feel your belly lurch forward.
  153. >Ow.
  154. >What the fuck?
  155. >Something is sliding and kicking in your stomach.
  156. >Your belly starts expanding.
  157. >What's going on?
  158. >Is someone using magic on you?
  159. >You feel your body stretch, to the point where it feels like you're being ripped in half from the bottom up.
  160. >Something slimy is working its way out of you.
  161. >You scream in pain as a snake head splits through your jeans.
  162. >You're giving birth to a monster.
  163. >The snake constricts your legs together.
  164. >You lose your balance and fall backwards.
  165. >Out of the chariot
  166.
  167. >You flail in freefall and scream.
  168. >You notice the chariot keeps traveling along its steady decline.
  169. >The pegasi aren't coming to get you.
  170. >They haven't even noticed you.
  171. >The sky turns dark.
  172. >You tremble.
  173. >As the ground gets closer, you feel another bulge move around in your body.
  174. >A second snake head spawns from you.
  175. >It slides up your chest.
  176. >You stare into its eyes and see a pair of red, ghostly eyes, stare back.
  177. >Your back shatters against the surface of water.
  178. >Water?
  179. >What?
  180. >You gasp for air, trying to breathe.
  181. >The snake bites your neck.
  182. >You feel its venom coursing through your body.
  183. >Draining you of life.
  184. >The world slowly goes black.
