- Chapter 10
- >Wait.
- >Mara's threatening to kill you?
- >He wouldn't dare, would he?
- >Hurt you, maybe.
- >Like right now.
- >But not kill.
- >Twilight and Luna are on edge.
- >Horns glowing.
- >Celestia isn't pleased.
- >"Twilight, take Luna away. Now."
- >"Sister, you can't-"
- >"Now."
- >After a moment, you hear footsteps walking away.
- >Celestia reluctantly sits within arms reach.
- "P-princess, he's n-not go-going-"
- >Mara slams into you, hard.
- >You scream.
- >"Anonymous..."
- >Celestia doesn't make any moves.
- >"Anonymous, I'm sorry, but I can't risk hurting you."
- "He-he's bluffing!"
- >You take a deep breath.
- >You lean into his blade to prove a point.
- "I've ne-nearly killed myself se-several times, and Mara has s-stopped me. He wants me al-live. His threats aren't worth shit, h-he's bluffi-."
- >You feel the sharp edge nick your skin and jerk away.
- >Shit, that hurt.
- >A drop of blood starts rolling down your neck.
- >"Sorry Anny, you were saying?"
- >"Enough!"
- >Celestia yells.
- >"I am not making any movements. Do not harm her further."
- >"Good girl."
- >Mara chuckles to himself.
- >You shoot the smug incubus a hate filled look.
- "I've had enough of this..."
- >"Hm?"
- >You close your eyes.
- >Your fate belongs to you, not him.
- >You lunge forward into his claw, bracing for the end.
- >"Anonymous no!"
- >You wince as it scrapes the side of your neck.
- >It's a small cut.
- >What?
- >What happened?
- >You should have slit your throat with that.
- >Mara pulled his claw out of the way last second.
- >"Shit, seriously? How many times do I have to say it? I can read your mind, damn it!"
- >You feel some blood trickling down your neck.
- >You shudder.
- >And start crying.
- >"Princess, be a dear and patch this up."
- >Celestia is right next to you, hoof against your forehead.
- >"Anonymous, please... be patient."
- >You feel warmth radiate around your body.
- >The cut sears in pain for just a moment.
- >"Thank you. Now sit your cute sunny butt over by the wall there."
- >Celestia slowly backs away to the wall, as ordered.
- >A stream of tears finds their way down your face.
- "Princess, why are y-you-... just l-let me die! I can't d-do this..."
- >"Anon, I'm here to help you. Trust me. You can't give up hope just yet."
- >Trust her?
- >Two years ago, you trusted that she'd find out how you arrived here.
- >That she'd send you back home.
- >That you'd return to your life, and live happily ever after.
- >You don't know how much trust you can place in her.
- >Or if you can trust her any longer.
- >"Anon doesn't seem to have much faith left in you Princess."
- >Fucking Mara.
- >You sob and lay there, taking all he's giving you.
- >Mara gives one final bang.
- >It sends you haywire.
- >Caught between a mix of pain, fear, and ecstasy.
- >As he slowly pulls his rod out of you, you breathe a sigh.
- >You aren't relieved.
- >More scared than relieved.
- >You move away from him and slide off the table.
- >Your legs give out underneath you, making you fall with a loud thump.
- >You groan.
- >Celestia immediately rushes to your aid, lifting you up into the air with her magic.
- >She cradles you in the crook of her wings.
- >"It's alright Anonymous. It's over now."
- >She nuzzles you softly.
- >You say nothing.
- >"It's far from over. She knows it."
- >Mara smirks.
- >"No, this ends now. Today. Spirit, you are no longer welcome here."
- >"What are you going to do? Attack me? Kill me? I'm already dead!"
- >His body winks away.
- >You feel Celestia's body grow warm.
- >"No... I'm not going to attack you. But as long as Anon is in my company, you will not touch her."
- >Mara chuckles.
- >Even though he's ghostly, unseen, you can feel his presence inching towards you.
- >You were right.
- >You feel something slide up your back.
- >The sun princess whips around, striking Mara's gaseous form with her horn.
- >Mara screams.
- >You watch as his smoke swirls violently.
- >His body turns opaque.
- >What's happening?
- >Before long, you see a small colt beside you.
- >He looks down at himself in disbelief.
- >"What did you do?"
- >He hisses and leaps at you.
- >Celestia growls, swatting him back down with her wing.
- >"Binding. Spell."
- >You blink.
- >Mara?
- >He slowly picks himself up.
- >His body is weak.
- >You can't believe it.
- >This nightmare.
- >It's finally over.
- >You're speechless.
- >Or rather, your voice isn't working properly.
- >You wrap your arms around Celestia's neck, giving her the biggest, grandest, most forceful hug you can possibly muster.
- >She lifts you and places you in her arms.
- >You bury your face into her shoulder.
- >"I told you that you could trust me."
- >She says softly.
- >You shed tears.
- >You would cry buckets if you could.
- >Celestia turns towards the little colt on the ground.
- >"You little bitch. What'd you do to me?"
- >"As I said before, a binding spell."
- >Mara goes silent.
- >"It's only temporary, but it traps your spiritual essence to a living form. Binds it to that living thing. You are very lucky."
- >"Lucky? LUCKY?"
- >He roars.
- >"I'm a fucking colt! How am I lucky?"
- >"Due to whatever magic Chrysalis gave you, you have the power to transform body. That is why you are a colt. Had you not been given that magic, you'd be bound to something else. I would be much happier seeing you bound to a blade of grass, but this will have to do for now."
- >You turn and look at the colt.
- >He looks pitiful.
- >You look up at Celestia.
- "Now? Temporary?"
- >Doubt fills your mind.
- >Celestia nods.
- >"This spell is very advanced. I'm afraid only I and my sister are of a high enough level to be able to use it."
- >Your spirit is crushed.
- >"I'm sorry it can't be permanent. But there's nothing stopping myself or my sister from recasting the spell..."
- >Your fears calm down slightly.
- >It's not ideal, but you're safe.
- >Celestia gently pats your back.
- >"Which means, spirit, that this is over. You are no longer permitted to be in this land. I hereby banish you from Ponyville, Canterlot, the Crystal Empire, Manehattan, and all the locations of Equestria."
