The premise: The Surly Squirrel Squad, a rambunctious and chaotic group of nonsapient rebels, was discovered to be occupying a small clearing in the woods, and has even taken a Cannonite hostage!  It is your task to overcome zany encounters and rescue your captured brethren!
 
Characters introduced:
Dick Gumhoof; Private Eye.  a larger earth pony, dark blue coat with light brown hair.  A gruff, ace detective-like exterior hides a soft and caring exterior, particularly evident when he is with his younger brother.  Gumhoof has found a place in the Shanty section of town, and is infamous around those parts for solving arguably petty mysteries that are given to him, such as the disappearance/misplacement of trinkets as well as the occasional petty theft.  Taken hostage by the squirrels when he investigated the Goat Tower upon stumbling onto it one day.
 
Clue: Gumhoof's younger brother.  An underage b& sucked into this world unwittingly.  He is with his brother as often as possible, due to the fact he is all he has left of the old world.  Thanks to Gumhoof's patience and slight guilt in accidentally introducing Clue to the fandom, Clue labelled himself as Gumhoof's partner in crime, the stumbling sidekick.  A bravado of upbeat confidence hides his extreme anxiety and timidness in coming to this world.  Managed to abscond back to FC and now is intent on wrangling a group of people to rescue his brother.
