  1. NOTE: This guide seems outdated, but is pretty much the same. The website is now: http://www.capcom-onlinegames.jp/pc/, and instead of DP we have CAP as currency. So everytime Daletto is mentioned, it is actually now called Capcom Online Games 「カプコンオンラインゲームズ（COG）」

  3. <=Step 1=> Download the game and the VPN Client!
  4. First of all you would need to download the game.

  23. <=Step 2=> Install the game and the VPN Client!
  24. It's just a normal installation procedure. Make sure you are installing the Daletto (ダレット, 2nd option) version by checking it, NOT the Hangame (ハンゲーム, 1st option) version by unchecking it. Just keep hitting next, install it, then click close after it is complete. Installing the VPN client should be quite simple as well. Place the .vpn file you downloaded somewhere safe for now.

  26. <=Step 3=> Registering a login account with Daletto!

  32. Enter your e-mail address and the re-type the security numbers below it. Click the orange confirm button. You will be sent to a page asking for an authentication key.

  34. Check your e-mail account. Daletto should have mailed you something with the title of "【ダレット】「認証キー」発行のお知らせ?" (check the spam folder as well if you cannot find it in your inbox). You should get a 6-digit authentication key written like this from that e-mail:

  38. Copy and paste that 6-digit key back to the registration page and hit the orange confirm button again.
  39. You will now be asked to enter your account information here:

  43. The part that you might have trouble with is making up a name in Kanji and Furigana (Hiragana). Translate your name, google, copy someone else's name, or make one up yourself! >_<;
  44. Here is an easy tool, but not might generate last names easily: http://www.kanjizone.com/
  45. Just copy and paste the kanji and hiragana (for furigana) fields.
  46. *EDIT: The new sign-up now asks for a Dalleto signature 「ご希望のダレットサイン」 (probably with daletto blog purposes), shown in this [url="http://forums.minegarde.com/topic/2493-issue-with-daletto-account-creation/"]problem[/url]. Just make one up that's not taken and check it with the button on the right.

  48. Once you are done, click the orange confirm button again and you should be set. If you do get some red text, you must have done something wrong inputting some stuff. Review, edit, and re-confirm it again =]

  50. <=Step 4=> Signing up for the MHFO Free Trial!

  52. Login from the dalleto website here: http://www.daletto.com/pc/ , Input your Log-in Name and Password then click the Orange Log-in Button （ログイン）
  53. You should be sent to a page similar to here:

  55. Click the button "Buy Stuff" (利用権を買う) as shown on the left side then click the Orange button next to the MHFO page as shown in that image above.
  56. You will be sent to the MHFO page where you can buy stuff for the game.
  57. Right now, we are just signing up for the free trial. Look for the Trial Course Button (トライアルコース) and click the Orange button to the right of it. Scroll below, click the Agree box, and click the Orange Confirm button. You should now be able to login to MHFO using your Daletto Log-in account! =]

  59. <=Step 5=> Setting up your VPN and settings to start the game!

  61. Open the VPN Client you have installed earlier. Open up the .vpn mobilefree.jp file that you have downloaded earlier as well (clicking and dragging it to the program should work, or else double click the .vpn file or right click the top box of PacketIX and click Import (P) and find the file)
  62. You should have the VPN client opened up like this:

  64. Right-click the connection and click the Connect (O) option. This should make you install a virtual Network Device for your computer and let it do so. Once done, the VPN should connect and you will see the little PacketIX Box on the toolbar light up like a X-Mas tree =]
  65. Yay, we now have a Japanese IP. :D
  66. If you want to restore your IP back as it were, just right-click the connection again and click Disconnect (I).

  68. You also NEED to change your clock settings to Japanese time zone (GMT + 9:00).

  70. Now, let us open the MHFO Launcher! Let GameGuard update the security settings.
  71. Launcher Options from top to bottom: Settings, PC System Check, Close, Character Select, Daletto Log-in (input), Password (input), Server (drop-down), Log-in Button.
  72. Input your Daletto log-in name and your password. Most of us are located in the 1st server, so pick the LAST option in the drop-down box for Server #1 ^^
  73. Now, click the Circular Log-in button. It will now search for updates. If you get any errors, try reconnecting VPN and re-check your time zone.

  75. You might get an error like this when you do update:

  77. If you do get that, I would re-log-in, wait till the green and yellow texts show up, disconnect the VPN (Right click it, press Disconnect (I)). I would then reconnect VPN again once the update is complete.
  78. Another solution is to turn off your firewall and/or anti-virus protection temporarily until you are fully updated. You don't need to do this every log-in once you are patched.

  111. *Important Note: Don't open the MHF launcher before opening you E2G EVPN!!! You do it afterwards. I'm using Win 7 64-bit.

  113. Step 1: Download E2G Pro: ftp://d3.easy2game.com/Easy2Game.Pro5.7.rar

  115. Step 2: UnRAR if somewhere, and open its folder and open E2GPRO.exe (create a desktop shortcut of it if you want for easier access)

  117. Step 3: Set the language to English! Right-click the E2G icon on your taskbar (by your Clock if you don't know where) This will make it easier for everyone, lol.

  120. Step 4: Click the In Server Drop Down Box and select Japan.

  122. The only public servers that you can connect so far are:
  123. -Japan 5551
  124. -Japan 5552

  126. Note: There used to be more and I think the lower the overload, the better. Try clicking Get Delay to retest the current Delayms Ping and Server overload %...with a 30 second wait in between
  127. For now, I'll choose Server 5553 by double-clicking it and choosing Yes. You should see the In and Out Server Saying Japan5553 or so.

  129. Step 5: Add mhf.exe as a Program Proxyed file. Do so by clicking Add, then finding your mhf.exe under the Program Files (x86) > CAPCOM > Monster Hunter Frontier Online folder and click open.

  132. Step 6: Set your settings. I normally would turn off "Accerate"(lol) Mode [optional I think], and click Settings, uncheck all except the last one, and type in ;80; like shown with this screenshot below. Press the Save button(not the x on the top right) afterwards to save the settings.

  134. Note: I think Step 6 is actually optional, but these are the "safe" settings that I found out about others using this program.

  136. Step 7: Log in using your E2G Account. Click Server Settings and enter your account name and your password and click Test. You should see a similar msg like this if all goes well. Now Click OK if it gives the Work Ok message (if it says Fail even with the correct info, it means that your E2G sub ran out). You will also see your account status on the bottom left corner of the E2G screen if it is indeed working correctly.

  139. You are now done! Now open you MHF launcher and try logging in. You will sometimes see the Internet Explorer message that the script stopped running, but just ignore it and say yes or no. Keep me posted for any other problems~ ^^
