  1. >You move to get up, the sting in your back making it a chore.
  2. >You feel like shit, like everything you had was taken from you, leaving only a morsel of your life left.
  3. >When you find Chrysalis you’ll make her-
  4. >You fall back down, your arms buckling beneath you.
  5. >You won’t do anything in this state.
  6.
  7. >The soft buzzing of wings dampens your spirits as two changelings land beside you.
  8. >Their heavy breathing leads you to believe they aren’t in the best shape either.
  9. >Even still, you’re in no shape to take either of them on.
  10. >They walk over to you, each step bringing you closer to your fate.
  11. >They stop inches from you, snapping and speaking in their native tongue.
  12. >One brings their head down to yours and bears its teeth.
  13. >Well fuck you too world.
  14.
  15. >The second fires a blast at your aggressor.
  16. >He falls over, a hole now where his chest used to be.
  17. >You crawl away, the changeling with you every step of the way.
  18. >You grab your blood stone before he can kick it away, hiding it under your chest.
  19. >He kicks you onto your back, grinning malevolently.
  20. >His form cracks and fizzles as he takes a more suiting image.
  21. >One of your father.
  22.
  23. >”Weak, just as I knew you were.”
  24. >He kicks you again, using both physical and psychological torment.
  25. >”You never were a son of mine. Nothing more than a mistake.”
  26. >He strikes against your skull, forcing you back on your stomach.
  27. >”How does it feel to be a disappointment?”
  28. >He presses his knee into your spine, leaning his head next to yours.
  29. >”Well?”
  30.
  31. “Feels good.”
  32. >He slams your head against the floor, though you block it with your arm.
  33. “What’s the matter? Can’t finish a wounded opponent?”
  34. >Your words do well to anger him, making his attempts sloppy but strong.
  35. >He places his fingers in your wound, extending and twisting against your fleshy walls.
  36. >”You’re swine! Nothing more!”
  37. “Swine huh?” you mutter, the pain making speech difficult, “Better than trash.”
  38.
  39. >He raises his hands to hit you again, giving you the time you need.
  40. >As he brings down his fists you forcefully roll to the side out from under his knee.
  41. >He strikes the floor, the cracking of bones music to your ears.
  42. >He howls in pain, cursing and muttering profanities at his carelessness.
  43. >”Come back here you coward!”
  44. >Her morphs again, reverting back to his regular form.
  45. >Apparently he already forgot about his injury.
  46.
  47. >He instantly falls onto his knees, his hooves shattered from his previous injury.
  48. >The changeling nurses his hooves, completely ignoring you and allowing you to go on the offensive.
  49. >You work onto your knees and lean back, withdrawing the blood stone.
  50. “Sorry about this old fella.”
  51. >You smash the stone against the floor the sound ringing through the ravine.
  52. >The stone stays whole, but in turn catches the changeling’s attention.
  53. >He clicks violently. Even if you don’t know what he said, you know he’s pissed.
  54.
  55. >You bring the stone down again and again in an effort to destroy it.
  56. >The changeling scooting closer and closer, a waiting game for him.
  57. >After another smash the stone seems to crack, a red mist seeping out of it.
  58. >The cloud flows around your hand, penetrating your skin with a slight sting.
  59. >It works its way up your arm, its essence invigorating all it embodies.
  60. >Strength returns to you, if only slightly.
  61. >Enough to give you a fighting chance.
  62.
  63. >You pound away, more and more of the mist spilling out.
  64. >His horn glows green as he finally reaches you, hand high for the final blow.
  65. >The stone completely shatters as you bring it down, the flood of red bathing you in its glory.
  66. >He rests his horn on your head, seconds from his devastating finisher.
  67. >With renewed strength you thrust your fist upwards, hitting him in the jaw and casting his head to the ceiling.
  68. >The orb flies out of his horn, travelling outwards away from you.
  69. “Now who’s the swine?”
  70.
  71. >You stand up and wrap your arm around his neck, pinning him in your armpit.
  72. >He bucks with his back legs, but only manages to hit air.
  73. >You pull upwards and keep his head low, snapping his spine.
  74. >He falls from your grasp completely paralyzed from the neck down.
  75. “Next time, just kill me outright.”
  76. >You walk away with some of your strength restored, but still not at 100%.
  77. >The defeated creature clicks a few times as your back is turned to it.
  78. >He should have taken your advice.
  79.
  80. >In a final act of defiance the changeling charges up another blast, the green glow giving him away.
  81. >You draw your sword and turn to make short work of him.
  82. >As you approach, you realize he’s not holding back, using every ounce of his energy to defeat you.
  83. >It’s not a projectile he’s charging, it’s a bomb.
  84. >You turn and sprint as fast as your feet can carry you dropping your sword in the mess.
  85. >The light intensifies, a shockwave bellowing from his location as the bomb detonates.
  86.
  87. >The blast accelerates faster than you do, catching up quickly.
  88. >You take cover behind some rocks in a last ditch effort to escape the explosion.
  89. >Flame engulfs you in your final moments, green the last thing you see.
  90. >Or so you thought.
  91. >You open your eyes seconds later, greeted by the looming darkness.
  92. >The familiar stone walls do not invoke fear, merely curiosity.
  93. >”Don’t think you’d get off that easily.”
  94.
  95. >You back away from Chrysalis as she walks towards you.
  96. >”I thought I had left you for dead, I see I was wrong.”
  97. “You won’t get a chance to try again.”
  98. >She laughs, “We’ll see about that.”
  99. >”No we won’t.”
  100. >Twilight steps out from the shadows, slightly bruised and worn.
  101. >”I won’t give you that chance.”
  102.
  103. “Twilight stay back. She wants you to attack her again.”
  104. >”Then she’ll get it.”
  105. >Twilight lunges at Chrysalis who merely smiles and disappears in her murky flame.
  106. >”You might have stood against me evenly before, but now that I have taken Anon’s love, you stand no chance.”
  107. >Her voice circles you teasingly, tearing down your will.
  108. “Your overconfidence is your weakness.”
  109. >”Your faith in your friends is yours.”
  110.
  111. >”We’ll stand strong, you won’t overtake us.”
  112. >”Then I might have to split you apart.”
  113. “What are you-“
  114. >Spirals of green flame overtake Twilight, closing in on her.
  115. “Twilight!”
  116. >You reach towards her, the flames forcing you to back off.
  117. >”Don’t fall for her tricks. I’ll be back!”
  118. >A portal appears beneath her, sucking her into the earth and away from view.
  119.
  120. >You’re left alone once more, though you can’t help but feel watched.
  121. >”Alone at last. Oh Anon, how I missed you.”
  122. >You stick to your stance, knowing she could strike at any moment.
  123. >”That isn’t very nice of you, here let’s just change that demeanor of yours.”
  124. >A green bullet tears through the air striking you in the elbow.
  125. >It seeps right through your armor, sending shivers up your arm.
  126. >You begin to lose feeling in your arm, not control just feeling.
  127. >”Isn’t that relaxing, let it flow into you.”
  128.
  129. >Another strikes your thigh and neck the chilling calm seeping into you.
  130. >It feels so right… You just want to lie down and…
  131. “No!” you scream resisting the temptation, “You won’t will me down.”
  132. >”Disappointing, but a bit premature. We’ll see if you can live up to that statement.”
  133. >Silence follows with her seeming departure.
  134. “Chrysalis?”
  135. >No response, just silence.
  136.
  137. >”Anon?” Twilight’s voice calls from down the hall.
  138. >”I’m coming Anon.”
  139. >You wait for ‘Twilight’, sticking to your stance.
  140. >She enters the chamber, giving you a look of curiosity and relief.
  141. >”I thought I’d lost you.”
  142. “I’m sure you did.”
  143.
  144. >She steps closer, only for you to step back.
  145. >”Anon it’s me, Twilight. I said I’d be back.”
  146. “You also said not to fall for her tricks, and I plan on doing that.”
  147. >”You don’t trust me…”
  148. “I can’t trust you, you should understand that.”
  149. >She nods her head, “I do. I could be Chrysalis in disguise. You wouldn’t be able to know.”
  150.
  151. >You stare at each other awkwardly, each unsure on how to act.
  152. “Where’d you end up?”
  153. >”After I was teleported, just down the hall strangely enough. Seems like a waste of magic to me.”
  154. “Yeah, Chrysalis would be pretty stupid to do that.”
  155. >”Indeed she would.”
  156. >You ponder her answer, not swaying your opinion either way.
  157. >You hoped this would be easier.
  158.
  159. >”How’re you here?” she asks, “I thought she drained you of your strength.”
  160. “Blood Stone. Use it for light, destroy it for life. Basics of course.”
  161. >”I’m sure it’s much more complex. I’d like to have studied it.”
  162. “It’s magic, doesn’t have to explain shit.”
  163. >She laughs, “Sounds like Pinkie alright.”
  164. >Yeah, Pinkie… You wonder how they’re doing…
  165.
  166. >”They’re safe Anon, they left before the cave collapsed.”
  167. “You know how I feel about you reading my mind.”
  168. >She shakes her head, “It doesn’t take magic to know what you were thinking.”
  169. >That sounds like the Twilight you know. Maybe she’s the real one after all.
  170. >”H-help me…”
  171. >The soft voice turns your attention away from her and towards the other end of the room.
  172. >A second Twilight enters, her wounds… it pains you to see.
  173.
  174. >”Anon…” *cough*
  175. >A dribble of blood rolls out of her mouth as she stumbles towards you.
  176. >Not to Twilight…
  177. >”Anon, wait it’s a trick!”
  178. >She’s not fooling you now. You rush over to her, catching her as she falls.
  179. >She can barely lift her hooves they’re so weak.
  180. >The changelings… No force in the world can protect from you…
  181.
  182. >”You *cough cough* came.”
  183. “I said I would.”
  184. >”Anon listen to me that’s not Twilight.”
  185. >She flinches as you touch her wounds, reeling back from the pain.
  186. >You feel her pain, every cut and scratch. You did this to her, just like Chrysalis said you would.
  187. >Her death is on your hands. Only you had that kind of power.
  188.
  189. >Tears form in her eyes as she hugs you, clinging onto you for dear life.
  190. >You stroke her blood-splattered mane reassuringly.
  191. “It’s going to be alright, I’m here now.”
  192. >”Tha- nk you.”
  193. >”I’m telling you Anon, that’s Chrysalis! She’s trying to trick you.”
  194. >You look back at her with scorn, still holding onto the wounded Twilight.
  195. >How could she be so naïve?
  196.
  197. >Your anger turns into a slight grin as you scratch Twilight behind the ear.
  198. “I know.”
  199. >Your hidden blade pierces the back of her skull, driving straight into her head.
  200. >Her eyes go wide as you twist it mercilessly.
  201. “Overconfidence is your weakness,” you say gripping onto her mane.
  202. >She bucks wildly with enough strength to knock you away.
  203. >Twilight helps you back up as Chrysalis’s form shifts uncontrollably.
  204.
  205. >Her blood shifts from blue to green to red seamlessly as she tries to focus on one form.
  206. >”Im- poss…”
  207. >She falls to the floor, her blood coating the cold stone.
  208. >She spasms, losing full control of her bodily functions.
  209. “Have a little faith Twilight. I’m not as dumb as I look.”
  210. >You watch as the light fades from her green luminescent eyes, leaving them barren and lifeless.
  211. “May you rot in the bowels of Tartarus for all eternity.”
  212.
  213. >Twilight latches onto you, and you hug her all the same.
  214. >You teased her with your mistrust. You made her think she’d lost you.
  215. >”If you ever do that again I’ll kill you.”
  216. >You tighten your hold, keeping her as close as possible.
  217. “Never…”
  218.
  219. >Your arm feels almost weightless without your gauntlet on, the extra weight something you grew used to.
  220. >You tug on your folds and peer outwards once more, looking over the crowd.
  221. >Luna sits on the balcony, everwatching for trouble, but you suspect she’s not just here on business.
  222. >The mane 6 stand across from you, healthy as can be now that they’re back to civilized life.
  223. >Flash stands beside you, being there for you through your ordeal.
  224.
  225. >You find your father in the crowd with a dozen bodyguards surrounding him.
  226. >He wasn’t willing to part ways with you after the war, but he accepted your wishes.
  227. >You nod to him, who firmly nods back, maybe even happy for you.
  228. >Who knows what goes on in that brain of his?
  229. >“I would guess many things.”
  230. >You laugh and turn to Celestia, standing above you.
  231. “Still the snoopy one I see.”
  232.
  233. >She smiles kindly, “He’s proud of you.”
  234. “Somehow I think that’s a stretch.”
  235. >”He doesn’t agree, but he is. You’re doing what you wish to do, not what he wills.”
  236. “I only hope this works out better than last time.”
  237. >”I’m sure it will.”
  238. >The chirping of birds signals the start, and you look down to the entrance.
  239. “Beautiful…”
  240.
  241. >She walks down the aisle, her head flushed with embarrassment.
  242. >You share her feelings, but stave off blushing, at least in front of your father.
  243. >The fillies perform their flower display, skipping happily down the aisle.
  244. >Shining Armor stands at her side, escorting her down to meet you.
  245. >He shakes your hand, “Treat her good you hear?”
  246. “Always and forever.”
  247. >He stands behind Flash, taking his place among your fellows.
  248.
  249. >Twilight steps up beside you, smiling like a little school girl.
  250. “You ready?”
  251. >She nods happily, barely containing her excitement.
  252. >Celestia takes this as her cue, clearing her throat to gain everyp0nies attention.
  253. >”Mares and gentlecolts, we are gathered here today to witness the union of Twilight Sparkle and Prince Anon of Glaemar.”
  254. >Finally the moment that you’ve been waiting for is here. The most important decision of your life, and you wouldn’t change it for the world.
  255.
  256. >“Love is a special kind of magic, one that cannot simply be broken or torn. It is stronger than any armor, and will outlast the world itself.”
  257. >“These two find themselves under its spell, and even the test of war was unable to shake its hold.”
  258. >”The strength of their commitment is clear. The power of their love, undeniable.”
  259. >”Twilight Sparkle, do you take Prince Anon to be your husband, to care for and cherish, in sickness and in health?”
  260. >”I do.”
  261.
  262. >”And do you, Prince Anon, take Twilight Sparkle to be your wedded wife, to care for and cherish in sickness and in health?”
  263. “I do.”
  264. >”May we have the rings please?”
  265. >Spike raises them, Celestia placing them on you and Twilight.
  266. “I hereby pronounce you husband and wife.”
  267. >They cheer as you kiss Twilight, eyes cast away at Rainbow Dash’s sonic rainboom.
  268.
  269. >”I love you Anon.”
  270. >You hug her, tears running onto your back.
  271. “I love you too Twilight.”
  272. >And they lived happily ever after…
  273. >The End.
  274. ”Twilight! I finally finished it!”
  275.
  276. >She butts into your room, looking over your shoulder.
  277. >”So you did, well let’s have a look.”
  278. >She levitates the book away from you, reading it as you follow her.
  279. >The two of you lie down on the couch, snuggling up next to the fireplace.
  280. >”Anon dear…”
  281. “Yes?” you reply expectantly.
  282. >”Stick to your day job.”
  283. >You smile and rub her swollen belly.
  284. >Today was a good day.
  285.
  286. ---------------------------------- Leads to Anons in Equestria -------------------------------------
  287.
  288. >”Are you sure? We don’t have to if you don’t want.”
  289. “I’m sure Twilight. I’ve seen your home and you’ve always wanted to see mine. I promise this won’t be like my last surprise.”
  290. >”You know it won’t be good for… well…”
  291. >You give her a hug and help her onto the boat.
  292. “I promise, I’ll do whatever I can to protect the two of you.”
  293. >She smiles and leans into you, her legs having trouble standing for two.
  294. “All aboard!”
  295. >You find your room, a nice sized cabin at the stern of the ship.
  296. >She sits onto the bed, fatigued from her journey.
  297. “The journey is by far the best part.”
  298. >You find the small balcony just outside your cabin and watch as you sail away from Equestria.
  299. >”How does it look?”
  300. “Beautiful.”
  301.
  302. >You grip the railing as an ache forms in the center of your skull.
  303. “Is it just me or is everything really bright?”
  304. >You lean on the rails and grab your sword tight, the pain getting worse.
  305. >”Are you alright Anon?”
  306. >You try to respond but an agonizing rush catches your voice.
  307. >All you can manage is a groan.
  308. >”Anon! I’m coming.”
  309. >As you step forward you trip on the slippery floor, your vision fading into white.
  310. >You await the hard wooden boards, instead met by damp grass and dirt.
  311. “T-Twilight?”
  312. >You look around, the boat gone, instead you find yourself in what looks like the Everfree Forest.
  313. >Twilight, where is she?!
  314.
  315. >Voices come from nearby and you pick yourself up.
  316. >You track them down, five men on an open field.
  317. >They’re not Erredians, they’re not big enough, though the guy in the burnt shirt has the muscle.
  318. >You eavesdrop on their conversation, mainly just bickering.
  319. >They seem to be just about as confused as you are.
  320. >They’re in the same boat as you, you don’t know how you know, but you do.
  321. >These men look dangerous, but you don’t sense that they’d do you harm.
  322. >”Yeah, and it’s the same as every other guy here if I’m correct,” the big one barks.
  323. >”Except for me,” the guy in the jacket replies.
  324. >”Do what your brother said and shut up. I’m trying to figure this shit out.”
  325. >You step out from hiding.
  326. “That’s something I’d like to hear.”
