- >The foals are huddled together on the ground
- >Their mother has climbed up the pile
- >She starts shoving bricks onto her foals
- >You hear their crying and the sickening crunch that stops it
- >The dam hops off the pile and runs off like always
- >She has no idea what she did
- >You get your tape measurer and go back inside
- >A few minutes later the dam returns
- >She pushes away the bricks and finds her broken foals
- >"Wake up, babehs, Mommehs hewe"
- >They don't move
- >She tries hugging one, nothing
- >"Pwease, babehs. Why no wake up? It miwk time."
- >After a while, she gets the hint and cries throughout the night
- >You find her the next morning, still hugging her foals
- >You place the fluffies in the pit and cremate, dam included
- >She refused to let them go
