>You’ve been teaching your fluffy pony basic arithmetic.
>It’s a long, slow, process, but with careful reinforcement through hugs and spaghetti, you’ve managed to get some of it to stick.
>Fluffy pony loves math, and practices with her crayons every day while you’re at work.
>Eventually, she masters addition and subtraction, and you move on to multiplication and division.
>It’s even harder than before, and extremely repetitive, but through some sort of educational miracle, she starts to wrap her fluffy head around it.
>One day, you get home from work, but something’s wrong.
>Fluffy pony is nowhere to be seen. Normally she’d run up to you for hugs.
>You find her in her playroom.
>It’s like something out of a nightmare.
>The right side of her body is standing upright, but the left half is floating sideways in the air about 10 feet up.
>Somehow, she’s still alive.
>Both halves are more or less facing you, but her eyes are fixed on something far in the distance.
>”Fluffy?” you call out to her, but she doesn’t seem to hear.
>You look around the room to try and figure out what’s going on.
>There are sheets of paper everywhere with math problems scribbled on them in crayon.
>The one closest to her has “6÷0=” written on it.
>As you realize what’s happened, there’s a sound like a cross between thunder and an ambulance siren as a glowing black rift appears between the two halves of fluffy pony.
>”Fluffy!” you call out.
>”Fwuffy see fowevah” she says softly, as the rift encompasses her body.
>There’s a flash of light, and when you open your eyes, fluffy pony and the rift are nowhere to be seen.
>Time for a new fluffy pony.
