Woud noisie scawe fwuffy! Fwuffy no wike.” They whimper hiding in their mother’s fluff. >”Smawty safe herd we got to safe pwace!” You point to the building. >Your herd ambles toward the building as fast as they can stumbling and tripping. >You find a small hollow at the bottom of a wall. >We hide in hewe during wa wa time! We safe!” >The herd gives a loud cheer. >”Mumma and babbeh fiwst!” >The females and their foals come up. >”Fank yoo smawty!” One of the foals says hugging your leg before entering the hole. >The mothers help them through. >A few get stuck requiring a helpful push from their smarty. >The wind picks up more and some storm spray can be felt. >”Evewy fwuffy go in, we safe fwom wa wa!” >The other members of your herd start to crawl through the hole. >After the final fluffy goes through you check around. >It is almost completely dark and heavy rain drops are falling. >You feel a tinge of pride that you got your herd to safety. >You know you are a good smarty friend. >You crawl through the hole yourself just as the storm starts to hit. >As you get in you are greated by darkness, you can’t see anything. >You hear chomping, “Fwens fin nummies? Yay! Smawty hungy!” >There is no answer. >You stumble around, “Why fwens no talk? Tummy hewtie, wan nummies too.” >You can still hear the smacks of lips and the sound of chewing. >Finally lightning strikes lighting up the area. >You only get a glimpse of the dogs eating your herd. >You have led your herd into a dog shelter. >”Nuu… NUUU! Munstas hewt fwens!” >You start to back up, “Meanie munstas! Why hewt fwuffy?” >It goes dark again. >”Smawty scawed…” you start crying. >”Smawty wan out, no wike hewe. Wan herd back…” >You are trying to find your way back to the hole when lightning strikes again. >You stand frozen at the three dogs in front of you, the hole behind them. >It goes dark one last time.
