Now it is Friday once more, yet you only see it as the day of reckoning. >Because today is the day that you had scheduled for you to debrief the Divine Council about your findings at Siren's keep. >As well as the day that you inform your gracious host about your decision to help their sworn enemy. "Couldn't I have just sent them a smoke letter, would probably be easier then traveling all the way here" >"Well, there is nothing stopping you now." replied Sombra the Mist, currently bound in my combat staff. "Except for my honor and loyalty," >"Then stop whining for gods sake!" >After finishing your morning preparations in the bathroom you walk toward the room's dresser and grab your holster and staff. "Shouldn't you be more caring about what will happen at this meeting? It will decide if you will even get your wish or not." >That sure got him to shut up. Finishing the leather buckler on the shoulder, you place the staff in the holster and survey the guest room. >From your vantage point at the door you view the room as a whole. >In front is the guest bed, easily a California king in size, adorned with sapphire silk'd sheets and pillows with matching drapes connecting the bed pillars together in stylish functionality. >To your left is the entrances to the bathroom and what you were told is the linen closet. Both with sky sapphire door frames holding heavy oak-wood doors. >To the left is a painting of the Crystal Empire in the Summer time. A golden field of Frostwheat, native to the landscape, surrounding the shining empire that was the focus of the painting. Somewhat captivating if you must say. >"Well if you are done being mesmerized by the portrait, we should hurry to the meeting you are late for." >Please you aren't late. >Yet checking your bronze pocket-watch tells another story. >... >Guess you haven't loss the wonderful gift of procrastination.   "Move,Bitch! Get out the way!" >Your voice booms as you vault over maid after servant, dashing toward the castle War Room. >The shouts of surprise and anger toward your behavior never meets your ears. >"...why are you running there?"Sombra asks "What *pant* do you mean?" >"You have been to the War room before haven't you?" "Yes," >"Well, why don't you just teleport there?" >You go from your desperate sprint to a half run, finally sliding into a casual walk and stop. "...Heh, I guess I could have done that." >Sombra just sighs at your lack of common sense as you prepare to transport. >"Anon, where have you been?!" "Whoah, Twilight?" >The purple alicorn had just teleported right in front of you shocking you out of your spell. "Sorry about my lateness, I was about to teleport over there" >"Sure, lets go!" "Wait Twilight I said I was-" >And now you are in the War Room, already sitting in your chair directly across the round, onyx glass table from Twilight. >You sigh to yourself knowing that the girl just never learns about boundaries. >Or the weird feeling of someone else's aura just yanking you through spacial points without warning. >Clearing your mind, you stand up and address the room. "Forgive my lateness, Divine Council, I have been going over the topic for this meeting without attention to time." >Princess Celestia nods toward you and speaks >"Very well, I know you not to simply slack off on your duties. Are we all ready to begin the meeting?"   >Highmage Blackstone and Princess Luna, seated on my left and right respectively, as well as Princess Cadence and Twilight all nod in agreement. >Glancing at Cadence, you notice that her eyes hold a concerned yet determined glare as she sits in her throne on Twilight's right. >"Then, I shall hand over the spot to you, Anonymous the Shadow." >You nod at Princess Celestia and sit into your throne, starting your report. "Last Friday, Prince Shining Armor and I went to investigate Siren's Keep in response to the reports of gothic magical radiation emanating from the center most part of the structure." "Upon entrance of the main throne room of the Keep, we both became aware of the cause of the magical disturbance." >"And what, Anonymous, was this disturbance that not only injured my husband so greatly but also warranted you to be so busy with it that you couldn't even visit your friend" yells Princess Cadance. >This of course catches Twilight's attention. >"Wait, Shining's in the Hospital? Why didn't anyone tell me?" >I guess she hasn't visited him yet, arriving today with the others and all. >"I had a message sent to Spike the next day, Twilight. I would have followed up but I was busy tending to Shining's recovery" Princess Cadance says before glaring at you."So please, tell me what was oh so important that it required your full attention for a whole week?!" >And as the whole room looks toward you, the realization that your plan of easing them into the topic has failed. >So should you just say it out loud? Or show it? >...why not both?   "Fine. You want to rush this meeting along? Fine" >"Calm yourself man, the tension is already high." Blackstone warned. Sure enough, both Twilight and Cadance are glaring at you in mistrust. >You nod at him as you get out of your seat and make your way to the War room door. "Okay, I will be blunt. What we encountered was a Homeward bound spectre with corrupted gothic magic. But it was not hostile." >Cadence's eyes widen slightly but quickly go back in a glare."So how did Shining get injured?" >You then give a glare not filled with anger but annoyance. "Because of his own ineptitude!" >"How dare you! How could you say such a thing as his friend-" "It is because I am his friend that I should talk to him as such! During the mission while conversing with the spectre, Armor had made hate filled comments toward him. The last one snapping the spectre's fragile state, turning him aggressive." >And the wife goes quiet. Twilight seems shocked at this and pipes in. >"But, Shining would never do something like that! At least, not without reason." "Well, he happened to have some bad history with the spectre." >"Sir Anonymous, you have yet to mention a name for the spectre." commented Princess Luna.   >Damn it Luna you were leading up to that. "Well, I feel it better to show you the spectre instead. But I need your word that no one will react rashly." >After a few minutes of quiet conversing the room all nodded simultaneously. >Well, here goes nothing. >Grabbing the staff with your right hand from its holster, you slam it down in front of you and cast the release. "Gaar sil, spaan!">You release Sombra from his binding and he forms into his equine figure from a pillar of mist. But a thin layer of shielding shines on his coat. >Thank go you thought about that shield because his figure was then launched behind you by a force hex from Cadance. >"Sombra the Tyrant! Ah so I see that he has clouded your mind with his dark magic. Don't worry, Anon, we should be able to finish him between four Alicorns" >But before you or Sombra could explain the situation Princess Celestia intervened. >Casting a magical dampen spell on Princess Cadence, she then addresses her. >"Princess Cadance, what did he just ask of you? He clearly has not been influenced by magic since he released him verbally." >One of the first instances you will actually use the term "Thank Celestia". >But you can already see from here that from here on out will be difficult in the meeting of the Divine Council.
