  1. >Rise and shine, Anon
  2. >Come on, get up
  3. >No use moping about
  4. >You'll win her over one day
  5. >Curse your inner nice guy
  6. >He let you into the zone
  7. >The friendzone, that is
  8.
  9. >It had been a week since that... 'incident' occurred
  10. >It was then that you were let into the zone
  11. >Now there's no way out
  12. >You would't dare to say it to her face, that you wanted that hot flank
  13. >But then again... you wanted that hot flank
  14. >Cursing your inner turmoil, you finish up on the newspaper you weren't reading
  15. >Placing it down on the kitchen table, you reflect upon your life
  16. >How did things get this depressing?
  17. >The dorm is surprisingly quiet today
  18. >Strolling over to your room, you find yourself lost in thought
  19. >Spitfire was out doing some extra credit stuff
  20. >You hope that 'extra credit' didn't have her bending over...
  21. >Guess where your thoughts take you
  22. >God damn boner
  23. >Opening your journal, you sit down at your study table, hoping to take your mind off something else
  24.
  25. >Day 1 in Heaven
  26. >Met some talking horses (actually they're ponies) (seriously don't fuck it up)
  27. >They all had wings but didn't have haloes?
  28. >I didn't get one either
  29. >This is strange
  30. >Everyone (-thing?) (-pony?) was speaking in English
  31. >Which is pretty weird, since the last time I checked, ponies didn't have vocal chords
  32. >Maybe human heaven also combines with pony heaven?
  33. >Back to the journal
  34. >Later in the day, I met a big white pony
  35. >Said it's name was 'Celestia'
  36. >I realise all of them have tattoos on their flanks
  37. >Hers was, as her name suggests, a sun
  38. >Maybe it's a form of tribal ritual or a cultural phenomenon like how we have?
  39. >I'll research more into it later
  40. >Today was a weird day
  41. >P.S Remember to thank a 'Ms.Sparkle' for this book
  42.
  43. > You turn the pages over, to reveal more journal entries
  44.
  45. >Day 8
  46. >Realise writing 'in Heaven' after the days was stupid
  47. >Did more research into this, 'Cutie Mark' thing
  48. >Apparently these ponies get a mark that coincides with their destinies, or something
  49. >The more important thing was, I'm in school now
  50. >I literally died and went to school
  51. >It was an academy that will 'teach you how to live like the rest of us'
  52. >That was a quote from Sunbutt
  53. >No fucking way I'll justify myself going back to school
  54. >As if I didn't suffer enough of that down on earth
  55. >Now I'm doing heaven school with these heaven ponies
  56. >Today was frustrating
  57.
  58. >Flipping more pages of your journal, you pick at random an entry
  59.
  60. >Day 72 in Equestria
  61. >Wow
  62. >It took 72 days for one of these idiots to tell you that this isn't heaven
  63. >It's 'Equestria' or some shit
  64. >Equestria, like the horse, Equine?
  65. >History lesson was a hoot, with all my objections and such
  66. >They never heard of Neil Armstrong! Apparently sending a man to the moon for a few days couldn't compare to an princess being sent there for a thousand years
  67. >And by 'sent', I meant 'banished'
  68. >Yeah, fucking banished
  69. >Moon isn't a goal that we can reach, oh not in this world
  70. >It's a fucking prison in here
  71. >But it sure answers some questions though
  72. >Like, "Where the fuck is my halo?"
  73. >Sigh
  74. >I literally wrote 'sigh' to tell myself how fucked up this is
  75. >Whatever, today was a bitch of a day
  76.
  77. >Skipping a chunk of the pages of the journal, you end up in the more... sensitive part of your entries
  78. >The meatballs to the spaghetti, if you will
  79.
  80. >Day 157
  81. >I don't know what to think anymore
  82. >In all the time I've spent in this world, I've never thought of being in love
  83. >Like, actual love
  84. >Love with a talking multi-coloured pony, kind of love
  85. >But when she walked into my dorm...
  86. >The ponies might call it Equestria
  87. >But on this day, I realise it was heaven all this time
  88. >Because only heaven has angels like her
  89. >Whenever I see her
  90. >I'm at peace
  91. >I just want to snuggle with her
  92. >Embrace her
  93. >Sex can come later
  94. >I can wait
  95. >As long as she's mine and I'm hers
  96. >The world can crumble around us for all I care
  97. >Today was beautiful
  98.
  99. >The next 13 pages all say basically the same thing, with pictures of Spitfire clipped on, scribbles of love poems, and doodles of you and her hugging, flying through the air together, and...
  100. >"Hey anon!"
  101. >Gasping, you turn around to see Spitfire at the doorway
  102. >The sudden shock causes the slamming of the book close, creating a satisfying 'thump' sound
  103. >Holding back a snicker, she speaks
  104. >"I- Is that what I think it is?"
  105. "No, it isn't!"
  106. >That was too quick of a reply
  107. >"It is, isn't it? You have a diary!"
  108. >Her laughter brings you back to 'that day'
  109. "One, it's called a journal, and two, sh- shut up"
  110. >"I can't believe you would keep something as girly as that! Let me guess, every page begins with 'Dear Diary'?"
  111. "It begins with Day, then Number, actually...", you mutter
  112. >"What was that?"
  113. >She takes a step towards you
  114. >Oh shit
  115. >Grabbing the book, you clutch it upon your chest like a vice
  116. >As far as your concerned, that book is your heart, and you ain't gonna let anybody know, least of all her
  117. >Bolting the hell out of there, you push past Spitfire
  118. >She stands there dazed at your actions, but then grins as you sprint further and further
  119. >The chase has begun
  120.
  121. >Running as fast as your legs can carry you, you run wherever you can
  122. >Anywhere away from...
  123. >"Oh anon~"
  124. "Shit!"
  125. >Deftly sidestepping over to the side, you barely dodge Spitfire's dive
  126. >Years of watching the superbowl has trained you for this day
  127. >Oh, and all that Track and Field you had to do the day after...
  128. >Dammit, you can't think of those things!
  129. >Emptying your thought improve your speed, and doing so allows you a brief burst of speed
  130. >Followed by a feeling of weightlessness
  131. >"Anon!"
  132. "Stop following me!"
  133. >"No seriously Anon! Whatever you do, don't look down!"
  134. "Yeah, like I'm gonna fall for that ruse!"
  135. >Instinctively looking down at her words, you realise you are standing on air
  136. >Not cloud air, real transparent air
  137. >You know, the one that can't support any weight
  138. "Fucking Wile E. Coyote principle"
  139. >A whooshing sound can be heard, followed by a whistle
  140.
  141. >The rushing sound of air surges past your ears as you plummet straight down to earth
  142. >Wait a minute...
  143. >Earth!?
  144. >So you weren't in Equestria, or Heaven, Cloudsdale or any other bullshit
  145. >You were just on the clouds above Earth!
  146. >Yeah that didn't sound too sane, did it?
  147. >Sanity or not, you only have seconds to live now
  148. >Wow, you are falling really slowly...
  149. >You close your eyes, and listen to your demise
  150. >Suddenly, the feeling of falling stops
  151. >Opening just one eye nervously, you are greeted with an orange sparkle
  152. "Spitfire?"
  153. >"You know anon, sometimes I think you're falling for me"
  154. >Spitfire is there cradling your body in her arms, like a baby
  155. >A normal pegasi would struggle to carry 50 kilos, let alone you
  156. >She makes it seem effortless
  157. "Heh, yeah. How crazy would that be, right? Heh heh..."
  158. >"Come on, let's get you back to the dorm"
  159. >You let out a massive sigh of relief
  160. >Falling 300 metres without a parachute knocks the wind out of anybody
  161. >But not her
  162. >Not your guardian angel
  163. >"Before we leave however...
  164. >She flips you upside down, and dangles you by your legs
  165. "Spitfire! What the hell!?"
  166. >"I want you to read you diary out to me"
  167. >Gazing up at her eyes, you see her smiling the biggest shit-eating grin down at you
  168. >You know what? Maybe this will turn out well
  169. >Maybe she'll see how much you love her
  170. >Maybe then you'll be together
  171. >Being in her arms now, it makes you feel...
  172. >Loved
  173. >A vice-like feeling grips your chest
  174. >It's your heart
  175. >What you realise then wasn't the feeling of being loved
  176. >It was that feel
  177. >That feel when Spitfire doesn't love you back
  178.
