Luminescence's Story - Chapter 1

I rolled over on my side, and stretched out. The moon was already high in the sky when I finally got out of bed. Well, at least, what you could call  a bed. My 'bed' were two posts in the ground, with a third post lying horizontally across the top. I slept upside-down, holding onto the eop post with my hind legs. I would wrap my wings around myself to use as my blanket. I looked around my little room, dazed at first. I trotted into my restroom, and splashed my face in water.  That got the sleep out of my eyes.
