- >Soon after waking up, Twilight shows up to bring you back to P0nyville.
- >You're skeptical about her ability to get a temporarily blind, quadraplegic dragon from point A, to point B.
- >But then, with the help of Applejack, Big Mac, and a cart, they manage to get you all the way to the library, where you will be staying while you recover.
- >Your friends all come visit you during the next few days, and you're happy to see...well, hear them.
- >One voice in particular is noteably missing from the group though.
- >After everyone leaves, you call Twilight over.
- Hey Twilight, where was Rainbow Dash?
- >You can almost hear her ears droop and she says in a sad tone:
- >"I'm sorry we haven't told you yet Anon, but Rainbow Dash's funeral was just two days ago..."
- >You are completely shocked at this revelation, your jaw dropping in disbelief.
- Dash is dead? What happened? How? Why?
- >"When you never came home from the forest that day, Dash and I set out to look for you. We spent several hours searching and still couldn't find where you were or what could have happened."
- >Twilight's voice starts to tremble slightly with her next words.
- >"We eventually came across the body of the manticore you killed, but we weren't the first to come across it..."
- >She sniffles and you can hear tears falling on the floor.
- >"There was another manticore eating what was left of the body, and it attacked us."
- >Twilight is openly sobbing now, and you feel your own tears stinging your unseeing eyes as she comes to the inevitable end of her story.
- >"I couldn't fight it, my magic didn't seem to work. We both panicked and it chased us, we weren't fast enough, and Dash.... Dash sacrificed herself so I could get away..."
- >Tears are streaming down your scaly face as everything sinks in.
- Dash, your Dash, is dead.
- >She died loyally protecting her friend, when she could have flown away and saved herself.
- >And it was your fault.
- >You feel your anger building up inside, amger stoked by loss, and the helplessness of your immobility.
- >A roar of despair escapes your throat and for the first time in days, you see something other than darkness.
- >You see red.
- >Your anger stokes the fires in your body to a white hot inferno, and you can almost FEEL the poison being burned away, as your mobility and sight are restored.
- >There is only one thing on your mind as you get up from the bed and set off for the Everfree forest:
- >Kill.
- >You are now Twilight Sparkle.
- >You just told your Anon about Dash.
- >Somehow his sadness and anger burned through the poison. You guess that it's magic.
- >Fucking magic.
- >He was supposed to be here for weeks while he got better.
- >Wiping the tears from your eyes you smile, because you know Anon will come back, how could he not? You're all he has in this world.
- >Even though he's friends with the others, you know he rarely ever does anything with them.
- >Well, except Fluttershy, but that mare's obsession with him is just creepy.
- >You shudder at the thought.
- >But you start to smile again as you realize that now, Anon is all yours, and you can make him love YOU.
- >Three days passed before Anon finally came back to P0nyville.
- >He looked haggard, exhausted, and his crimson scales were stained even deeper by the blood coating it.
- >You have never seen a more beautiful creature.
- >Now that all the anger has bled out of him, he just looks depressed.
- >Your heart breaks to see your love looking so despondent as he trudges ponderously towards his house, his heavy tail dragging in the dirt and leaving a furrow behind it.
- >You slowly trot up to him, walking beside him and trying to thing of something to say, when he speaks up.
- I killed them.
- >You look at him, but say nothing, hoping he'll elaborate.
- The manticores, I killed them. I ripped all of their tails out, and then killed them all.
- >Your eyes grow wide. "You killed ALL the manticores?"
- >He looks at you sullenly.
- There are probably still some in the forest, but the nests I came across will never be a problem again.
- >You look at him with renwed awe.
- >This creature that you love, capable of causing such carnage, with barely any damage to his person.
- >This is the reason you had to make Raibow disappear, and as you rub yourself against him comfortingly, you don't regret for a moment what you did.
- >You are now Rainbow Dash.
- >You have no idea where you are.
- >It's cold, dark l, and wet.
- >The last thing you remember before you woke up here is Twilight suggesting you both go look for Anon in the forest.
- >You have no idea how long you've been here, or how to get out of this cell.
- >Every so often, a unicorn shrouded in shadows and a cloak comes down the stairs, and using magic beats you to within an inch of your life, only to leave you some food and water before silently departing.
- >That p0ny is now one of the few things in life that you actually fear.
- >Another new fear is that you won't ever leave here alive, or see Anon again before you die.
- >Anon.
- >After months of hoping, and dreaming, he finally sees you the way you wanted him to see you.
- >You knew he had reservations about being with p0nies, and so you never openly mentioned a relationship with him, but you tried giving subtle hints.
- >And now, when he's realised your feelings for him, you end up here.
- >You curl up into a ball on the small pile of hay that serves as a mattress in your cell, and begin to sob.
- >Sobs that only get worse when you hear the clop of hooves descendin the stairs at the other end of the dungeon.
- >You stop when you hear the dark unicorn outside your cell.
- >This isn't right, this isn't how it should be.
- >You resolve to stay strong, live through whatever is happening, and someday, someday you will get your revenge on your tormentor.
- >You WILL get out of here, and you WILL see Anon again.
- >You wipe the tears from your eyes and face your shrouded captor.
- >Pain wracks through your body as you are lifted by magic and thrown against the wall, but you only grunt and shrug it off.
- >There will be no more screams. No more tears.
- >You are Anon.
- >Ever since your anger left you, you've felt empty.
- >After telling Twilight what you did, you made your way back to your house, and just sat in the shower untill the water felt as cold as your soul did right now.
- >The only thought to cross your mind in those hours one of appreciation for Twilight having magically resized everything in your house for a dragon your size.
- >You wake up, having fallen asleep in the still running shower, and turn it off.
- >Heading downstairs, you forego a bowl and milk, simply sitting on your couch and eating your Khorne Flakes right out of the box.
- >A knock comes at the door.
- >It figures she would show up.
- >You let out an irritated snarl as you yank the door off it's hinges, only to freeze at what you see on the other side.
- >It's Fluttershy wearing leather with a whip.
- >"Is being my little w-wimpy bitch your fetish Anon?
- >You feel your anger boiling up again.
- Fluttershy... I swear... If you don't leave right now, and take this thing with you, I will make you watch as I kill and eat all of your animals before doing the same to you...
- >Fluttershy is dumbfounded by your statement, you've said some mean things to her, but never overtly threatened her.
- >You don't care anymore.
- >You slam the door back in place, leaving it propped against the frame as you listen to a crying Fluttershy somehow take away the statue.
- >The next few days are unremarkable, other than Twilight coming to spend time with you, and bring you some food.
- >She's really nice to you, and really seems to care about you.
- >You idly wonder where Fluttershy is one morning when Twilight shows up with some fish, and she informs you that the yellow pegasus hasn't been seen in several days, although her animals seem taken care of.
- >P0nies just assume she's busy.
- >You spend most of your time with Twilight now, and while she can't replace what's been lost, she provides your only solace from your pain.
- >You are now Fluttershy.
- >This is the third week of going out every day into the Everfree forest.
- >Mr. Bear is with you to keep you safe.
- >Ever since Anon yelled at you, you've been searching for Rainbow.
- >You're much to shy to share your misgivings about Twilight's rendition of Dash's 'death' with your friends, but for some reason you don't believe she's telling the truth.
- >You were hoping you could tell Anon that you thought your friend was alive, but you just don't want to get anyone's hopes up.
- >Anon was crushed when Twilight told him, and you decided that maybe it wasn't enough to just guess his fetish, you had to bring back his friend!
- >Maybe that would make him finally love you and see how good for each other you were!
- >You hope.
- >After searching untill nightfall, you reluctantly head back to the cottage, saddened by the fact that you can't find her.
- >Maybe Twilight was telling the truth, maybe she is dead...
- >NO! You have to stay positive! You'll find her somehow, you just have to look in the right place.
- >You can do this, and win Anon's love...
- >You are once again Twilight Sparkle (The author apologizes for the many pov changes in this chapter, but feels they are required for the sake of the readers knowing the while story.)
- >Your hooves clop against the floor as you pace.
- >You are giddy, in the weeks since Rainbow's 'death', Anon has attached himself to you like a drowning man to a log.
- >It won't be long now, you just KNOW he is falling in love with you.
- >Then he will be yours.
- >Forever.
- >With a happy smile at that thought, you put on your cloak, cast a shrouding spell around yourself, and descend the staircase to the old dungeon of the Sister's Palace in the Everfree.
- >Walking towards the cell containing Rainbow, you feel angry, the same as every time you think of how she almost stole what is yours.
- >You have to make her suffer, but you don't want her to die. Not yet.
- >You want her to see Anon taking you before she can die.
- >For the moment, you cotent yourself with causing as much pain as you can.
- >Looking over at the blue pegasus, you take in her appearance.
- >She's become emaciated from captivity, and constant beating have left her bruised amd bloody.
- >You havent broken any of her bones however, you aren't a good enough healer to fix that, and you don't want her to die of internal bleeding.
- >She stares back at you defiantly, as she has for the past several weeks.
- >You don't care if she doesn't scream, it's enough to see her suffer.
- >You smile as you lift her into the air with magic, throwing her against the wall, all the while picturing what you wanted to do once Anon was yours.....
