>You wake up the next morning when the sun shines in your eyes through the window.

>You rub your eyes and grumble, intending to roll over when you notice the blue pegasus sleeping next to you.

>All of last night's memories come back and you smile, running a hand over Dash's toned, muscular belly.

>She just snorts in her sleep and rolls over.

>Adorable.

>You take the time to check her wing while she sleeps, glad that you didn't accidentaly hurt it.

>You should have thought of that last night.

>Idiot.

>Reassured that your stupidity didn't hurt your friend, you get up and head downstairs for a glass of chocolate milk, and some Khorne Flakes.

>You're on your third bowl when the knock at the door comes.

>Oh yeah, you fucked up the good thing you had going with Fluttershy yesterday.

>Sigh.

>Might as well get up and see what it is this time.

>Open the door to chew her out.

>"Hay yeah, you didn't think you could get away with just doing me once, did you? I've been waiting for it ever since you got here, and now that i've got you, you aren't just gonna ditch me!"

>You think back on some of the stuff you did to Rainbow Dash when you here still human.

So, you asking me for wing and back massages, belly rubs, scratching behind your ears, those were all...

>"They were all me trying to get laid, I like you Anon, a lot, you're different than everypony else, and you're pretty cool."

>You ponder for a few seconds.

>It wouldn't be that bad, going out with her, you already spend time with her more than anyone else.

>She knows you better than anyone, except maybe Twilight, who used a memory recall spell on you when you got here.

>You grin at her and aquisce to her will.

I don't know how I could have missed the signs of you coming onto me.

>She knocks a hoof on the side of your head.

>"That's cause you're a big dumb goof."

>You glare.

>"But you're my big dumb goof."

>She smiles and hugs you.

>Today is going to be a pretty good day.

>Around lunchtime, you find yourself with a craving for some meat, and so you prepare yourself some salmon.

>After scarfing it down, you're still hungry, and start to think about how you could sink your teeth into some actual red meat.

>You obviously can't go slaughtering any cows or ponies and such, since it would land you in some deep shit.

>But perhaps the everfree forest...

>You could probaby get away with hunting down animals in there, and eat your fill.

>Glancing over at Rainbow Dash napping on the couch, you decide to leave her a note telling her you have errands to run.

>No sooner than you're done, you set off flying for the forest, eager to finally eat your fill of something other than vegetables and fruit.

>You are now Rainbow Dash.

>You wake up from your nap to a quiet house.

>Stretching yourself, you yawn hugely and trot over to the table, reading the note lying there.

-Dash, I have some errands to run in the Everfree forest, I'll be back later, make yourself at home. Don't exert yourself and don't do anything to injure your wing.

>You smile, Anon really is a pretty good guy.

>A knock at the door interrupts your thoughts, and you open it to see Twilight.

Hi Twilight, you here to see Anon?

>"I was actually, what are you doing here?"

>Twilight narrows her eyes at you inquisitively, you just shrug.

I hit a tree yesterday and hurt my wing, Anon's place was the closest, so I came here, and he.. Offered to let me stay untill i'm better.

>Twilight is still giving you that odd look, but after a few seconds she just smiles and nods.

>"That's nice of him, anyway, is he here?"

No, he left a note saying he had errands to run, he'll be back later.

>"Oh, okay then, I guess i'll come back later."

>She looks kind of disappointed, but as she turns to leave she looks back at you.

>"I have the new Daring Do book at the library, if you want something to read while you're stuck here."

>You grin in a manner thy would make Pinkie jealous as you hop down the stairs to the front porch and head towards the library.

Well, let's go then!

>You are once again Anon.

>You managed to hunt down several smaller animals, but right now you are in deep shit.

>You ran across a manticore, and it seems pretty fucking pissed.

>Its claws are extended, poison glistens from its tail, and its face is set in a mask of snarls and rage.

>You've been trying to fight it, but it's no easy feat while avoiding the tail.

>You might be resistant to poison, but spike warned you that manticore venom is one of the few things that CAN harm a dragon.

>After several clashes, both you and the manticore are starting to show signs of exhaustion.

>Some of your scales have been ripped off, but the manticore us bleeding from some bites you've inflicted.

>A blow you landed to its spine seems to have taken a toll, as its tail is twitching erratically and it seems be having trouble moving it's legs.

>You move in for the kill and bite down hard on its throat.

>Warm blood gushes into your mouth and you snap it's neck.

>Something, some last act of savage defiance, causes it's tail to dart forward and stab your neck.

>A burning sensation begins to course through you and you panic.

>You probably don't have time to make it back to Ponyville, but there is someone in the forest that can help you.

>You start to make your way to Zecora's hut, darkness beginning to claim your peripheral vision and paralysis attacking your limbs.

>Your wings give up on you and you fall to the ground, clawing at the ground, trying to move forward.

>As your vision fades you let out a roar, in hopes that someone might hear.

>As unconsciousmess claims you for its own, you think you hear a familiar voice rhyming:

>"Oh dear, is this a dragon I see? Wounded fighting a manticore... Maybe?"

>You wake up an undetermined amount of time later, although the only indication of such is that you can move your head a little.

>Pain wracks your body and you groan weakly.

>You are unable to move, blind, but despite that, you are alive.

>"Awake you are, my draconic friend, I am glad to see your life did not end."

"Z-zecora?" You manage to croak out. "H-how am I alive?"

>"The manticore's blood I believe you did drink. This shall allow you to heal, I do think."

>You hear Zecora walking around around her hut, and soon enough she pours a foul tasting brew down your throat, which you painfully manage to swallow.

Will I be able to move again?

>Speaking is already easier, as nasty as it was, that potion gave you some much needed hydration for your parched throat.

>"It will probably be a long, painful process, but in the end I belive that the short answer is yes."

>Her musical tone and rhyming speech are dropped for her next statement, although she retains her accent.

>"You will need to rest much while you recover Anon, it will take quite some time before you are well."

>You grunt in response, at least you'll make a full recovery.

Do any of my friends know? And why did you stop rhyming all of a sudden? I thought it was how you talked.

>Zecora clops a hoof on the ground and takes on a sheepish tone.

>"I do not have to rhyme, but all in ponyville think I am some mysterious witch doctor. I am simply... Upholding an image."

>You snort in amusement.

>"Your friends all know where you are, as I informed them several days ago of what happened."

>Several days? Damn, you've been out for quite a while.

>"I will inform Twilight Sparkle that you are awake, so that she may take you back home to recover."

>You thank Zecora for saving your life, and drift off to sleep.

>'Today' wasn't such a good day after all.
