Shining Darkness 3 (Revived) (Updated 03/01)

 CHAPTER 3

 

We join in on Prince Noctis and Princess Luna enjoying the day together in the Canterlot Gardens like usual. It is a snowy day in Canterlot.

 

Luna: Ah the snow here in Canterlot is just magnificent dont you think?

 

Noctis: Oh I love it Luna. But nowhere near as much as I love you.

 

Luna: Always the flatterer. Haha, you always did have a knack for that Noctis.

 

Noctis:Youve got that right Luna. But of course why shouldnt I flatter the one I love the most?

 

>The two continue their playful conversation

 

Noctis:Hey Luna, ever have a snowball fight?

 

Luna: A snowball fight? Why I participated in them all the time when I was a foal but mind you that was thousands of years ago.

 

Noctis: Well, Im sure youve still got it in you. Want to fight?

 

>Luna throws a snowball playfully in Noctis face

 

Noctis: Oh so thats how you want to play eh?

 

>Luna throws another snowball at his face

 

Noctis: You do realize my dear that this means war.

 

>The two begin to have a snowball fight in the Cantelot Gardens while some commoners watch for their entertainment

 

>Celestia soon sees the war being fought between Noctis and Luna with the weapon of snowballs

 

Celestia: Oh how cute. I knew these two were a perfect match for each other since the very beginning

 

>Celestia goes to talk to Noctis when she accidentally steps into the line of their fire and Is pelted by snowballs

 

Celestia: Come on you two! I know youre having fun but I want to talk to you about something!

 

>The two do not hear Celestia and continue their snowball battle

 

>When the two realize her presence, they pester her with snowballs playfully

 

Celestia:I see, to get you to stop, there has to be a winner to this battle. Let the battle begin!

 

>Celestia begins to fire snowballs back at both Luna and Noctis

 

>A three way snow battle ensues and the Citizens begin to cheer for their favorite in this competition

 

Noctis: If you think Im gonna go down without a fight, youre sadly mistaken Celestia

 

Celestia:Then a fight we shall have!

 

Luna: To get to him, youll have to go through me, Sister!

 

Celestia: So be it!

 

>The snowball fight continues until finally all three decide to have a truce

 

Noctis: Well that was hectic and time consuming.

 

>*Snap*

 

Noctis: Oh my fucking god.

 

Discord: Did someone say hectic? I do still need my daily dose of chaos after all.

 

>Noctis sighs

 

Noctis:" Discord, do you really have to be here now?"

 

Discord:" Why hello there Anon, good to see you!"

 

Noctis:" It's Noctis now."

 

Discord:" Noctis eh? What was Anon too stupid of a name for you because it was given to you by other stupid humans?"

 

Noctis:" Discord, do we have to go through this every single time? Is this what you live for? Pissing me off?"

 

Discord:" Do you remember my name? It's Discord, pleasure to meet you. For your information Discord means disharmony, so spread chaos and disharmony is what I do!"

 

Noctis:" God you're a complete faggot."

 

Discord:" Oh lighten up, I'm just here to have some fun! I noticed you were in the middle of a snowball fight and since I didn't get to welcome you back home during your celebration, I decided this would be the next best thing, after all, tonight's Christmas Eve and I assume you and Luna will be busy as bees. Besides do you have to be so serious? It is the holiday season after all. Come on I thought we were pals! Best Buds! Close Acquaintances!"

 

Noctis:" I guess you're right Discord, I do get mad a bit too easily."

 

Discord:" I'm glad you see things my way for a change! It's truly a-"

 

>Discord is interrupted with a snowball pelted at his face by Noctis

 

Discord:" A sneaky move, I like it."

 

>He is then again pelted with snowballs

 

Discord:" Well then Noctis, I see you want to do things the hard way, so be it. Let us fight!"

 

>With a snap of a finger Discord creates a miniature squad of Abominable Snowmen to fight against Noctis

 

Luna:" Noctis watch out! The snowmen will get you!"

 

>Luna then jumps and blocks a punch from one of the snowmen to protect Anon who was pre occupied with Celestia

 

>The truce between Luna, Celestia, and Nocits is officially broken

 

>The snowball war between Discord, Noctis, Luna, and Celestia rages on for another hour

 

>Discord normally had the unfair advantage, using his manipulative powers to create any kind of chaotic snow weapon he could

 

>Discord also had used his powers of chaos to create excellent distractions, leaving his victim wide open for his attack

 

>Noctis also had some tricks up his sleeve to counter those of Discord's

 

>He would normally dive into the snow and come up from behind Discord to scare him and steal his weapon

 

>The snowball war had been complete calamity and was always intense

 

>After the hour of non stop snowball fighting, Celestia proposes a truce

 

Celestia:" Noctis! Luna! Discord! This has gone on long enough! Although I admit it was extremely fun, we still have things to do! Tonight is Christmas eve and we have to make sure everything is in order."

 

Discord:" Alright, I raise the white flag. It's been long enough and I don't want to get myself worn out after all. That reminds me, I'm here to give Noctis and Luna a present. That was actually the main reason why I had come but then the talks about hectic snowball fights just got me so tempted."

 

Noctis:" A present for Luna and I? What could you have possibly gotten to give us? Besides I bet it's some lame jack in the box prank. You're starting to get a tad predictable Discord, you gotta step your game up."

 

Discord:" This present is of the utmost sincerity Noctis. I can be serious when I want to you know. It's just that a majority of the time I choose not to be because why be serious and be all grumpy when you could be care free and do as you please?"

 

Luna:" Well then Discord, I must apologize as I did not think to give you a gift, for I thought you would more likely than not crash the Christmas celebration."

 

Discord:" Christmas is bigger than I am, no matter how big I may make myself appear! I would not dare trespass on the sanctity of the Celebration. As much as it could be fun to ruin it, I still have a personal gain in just leaving it untouched. I don't blame you for not giving me a present, I haven't done much to deserve one really. I mean sure I did help you that one night of your wedding be free from Nightmare Moon, but Noctis over there did most of the work. I hope you enjoy your gifts, I'll be on my way."

 

>In the present box lies two canes, much like the one he had given Twilight, but under neath that was the true present

 

>Discord had given them a book on time travelling and many pictures of them being together

 

>He even had written a note saying he is truly sorry for all the trouble he causes Noctis in the name of his own entertainment

 

>Touched, Noctis takes action

 

Noctis:" Now wait Discord, before you go, I want to give you something. This present really shows that you're not that bad of a person on the inside."

 

>Noctis turns to face Luna

 

Noctis:" Luna, I think I know just what to give him. "

 

Luna:" What could we possibly give Discord?"

 

Noctis:" His freedom. That would mean a lot to him, I can tell. Even though Discord has been an asshole to me, I think he deserves it. He has truly learned what friendship is. This Discord, compared to the one you told me about, is a reformed Discord, Luna."

 

Luna:" You know I never doubt your judgement Noctis, but are you sure?"

 

Noctis:" I am willing to swear on my life Luna."

 

Luna:" Then let's do it."

 

Celestia:" Are you sure Noctis? Discord was Luna and I's most difficult villain to defeat. I don't want that happening again."

 

Noctis:" He's changed Celestia, and if by the off chance he isn't, then we can banish him to a place where he can spread as much chaos as he wishes, in loneliness."

 

>Discord is still standing at the opposite end of the snow filled courtyard

 

Discord:" Is there really something you would like to give me? Or is this just a prank for the little cane thing?"

 

Noctis:" Discord, since we first met, I have always been annoyed by you, but in a good way. Except the very first time when you really had pissed me off. But Discord, what I am about to give you does not come in a physical form, but I know you'll enjoy it just the same."

 

Discord:" Oh what could it be? A sentiment of love or friendship? Please, I don't need any cheesy moments, I'll just go back to my Home Prison and I'll just sit there until you want or need me again."

 

Noctis:" You see, that's the thing Discord, the gift I'm giving you, is your freedom. You are no longer bound by our will. You are free to be your own person, so long as you don't intentionally harm innocent ponies."

 

Discord:" Free? As in free willed? As in, I don't have to be a slave to the royal family anymore Free? Is this a dream? Is this reality? Is this just a sick and twisted fantasy ?"

 

Noctis:" No, it's reality Discord. You don't have to cater to our demands, you're free"

 

Discord:" What made you think you can trust me?"

 

Noctis:" Because I can tell you have truly changed Discord. I have heard many tales about you in times since before I was here. I also heard what happened the night of the Gala. You refused to join Nightmare Moon in her quest to take over Equestria when she took over my Dear Luna."

 

Luna:" Discord, you have helped us in many times of need. It merely is the least we can do to repay you. You have done far more than we originally planned. It seems we always feared you being out of control. We feared what your chaos and disharmony can do to our established kingdom of Equestria."

 

>Tears begin to drip down Discord's face

 

Discord:" You truly do not know how much this means to me. I am glad you trust me at last to be the good person I am. Merry Christmas to you all, see you next time."

 

>Discord then snaps away with tears on his face, waving goodbye

 

Noctis:" You know, I guess I really have a soft spot for him. When he and I first met we definitely got off on the wrong foot. He was just so irritating and annoying and all the shit he said to me about humans just made me furious. But he's really grown on me, and he's helped us out more than he needed to. He even helped with the decorations for our wedding. I hope I see him sometime again."

 

Luna:" When I had first met Discord, he was an evil tyrant who had spread chaos and disharmony throughout Equestria. Things were all out of whack. Celestia and I finally defeated him one day. Never did I think that he would befriend me over a thousand years afterwards. He is still more than capable of mass hysteria, but I believe since he has accepted friendship into his heart, he won't be doing anyone harm. I'm glad we gave Discord his freedom, he always was more of a free spirit."

 

Celestia:" I remember those times to sister. Discord definitely has earned this."

 

Noctis:" Well I think we should get inside the throne room before the snow gets heavier and covers us all. Besides discussing these kinds of things should be done in privacy. Come on, let's go."

 

>The three walk inside the castle after their huge snowball war and their gift to Discord

 

>They find the throne room completely decorated in holiday festivities and also has statues of Noctis, Luna, and Celestia in the space inbetween the windows.

 

>They hear one final snap and the lights that decorate the Christmas Trees and the statues all light up in unison

 

Noctis:" Discord... you lovable prick. You had to have done this. If you're anywhere around, I just want to say thanks for this, you really went further than you needed to. Thanks for your amazing Christmas gifts, they are truly appreciated."

 

Luna:" This is magnificent! I am surprised he pulled this off so quickly. I guess this truly does show that Discord is a good person at heart, even though his love for chaos is big. He's more light hearted with his chaos, he no longer uses it for evil. Thank you Discord for everything, wherever you are, I'm sure you're listening.

 

Celestia:" This work is astonishing indeed. Well that certainly does help us out, as one of the things I needed to talk to you two about were the decorations, but seeing as Discord decided to do it himself, I can say that's taken off the list."

 

Noctis:" Then what else do we need to talk about Celestia?"

 

Celestia:" Well I was going to request that tonight that the stars can form into constellations of Christmas trees."

 

Luna:" Tis an easy thing to do Sister, anything else?"

 

Celestia:" Well I am going to need your help sorting out all the Royal presents people bring us, it is a bit ridiculous."

 

Luna:" You mean your presents? I get abysmal gifts from 1 or 2 citizens and a gift from you and that's normally all."

 

Celestia:" I know most people never really gave gifts to you, but that was because they feared you and thought you had no time for things like gifts and the holidays, trust me. This year will be different Luna, you and Noctis have won over their hearts and I mean just a couple of weeks ago we celebrated your return! So many people were happy to see you again! I'm sure you'll get tons of gifts, as will you Noctis, but you both will still get a gift from me."

 

Noctis:" So all we need to do is sort our presents? That isn't too tough."

 

Celestia:" And lastly, would you please spend the day with me here? Luna would normally need her sleep at this time but I see her body clock has adjusted to your new life style. Would you please be in the throne room with me and spend time with me? Of course we will have to do the Christmas celebration first, but I don't think you'd mind."

 

Noctis:" A Christmas celebration? Sounds like fun honestly."

 

Luna:" I'd love to be a part of it Sister! T'would be an amazing time."

 

Celestia:" I'm so glad you both want to be a part of this, it really means a lot to me. I'm really happy to see how far we've come as a family. Every moment I spend with the two ponies I care about the most, I treasure."

 

Luna:" Noctis and I are the ponies you care for the most? Honestly, I thought you still partially believed that I was part evil and were afraid of me."

 

Celestia:" Of course you're the ponies I care about the most, you're my family, and family has to stick together. I never feared you sister, I feared for our people. I did what was in their best interest. I always loved you Luna, and I always will."

 

Luna:" Oh Sister, I love you."

 

>Luna begins to cry a little

 

Celestia:" Oh come here, give me a hug Luna."

 

>Luna then rushes over to hug Celestia

 

>The three continue their conversation until the celebration begins

 

Celestia:" Alright you two, we have a celebration to attend."

 

Noctis:" I guess we do, let's go then. After all this has to be a Merry Christmas doesn't it?"

 

Luna:" Come on, this is sure to be an excellent time. I mean when I'm spending it with the two ponies I care most about, any time is a good time."

 

Celestia:" I'm glad to know you feel the same way about me that I do for you. I love you Luna."

 

Noctis:" I also love you Luna, more than anything ever."

 

Luna:" I suppose this calls for a group hug doesn't it?"

 

Celestia:" I believe it does Sister."

 

>The three hug together in spirit of the Christmas season

 

Noctis:" Let's go to the Hall of Glass then, It's Christmas time."

 

>They go to the Hall of Glass to have their celebration

 

>Everyone they know is there and they all get gifts for each other

 

>Twilight Gives the three A book on family bonding

 

>Applejack gives them all a bunch of apple seeds for them to grow together

 

>Rainbow Dash preforms a Sonic Rainboom for them and gives them Daring Do books

 

>Fluttershy gives Noctis and Luna pets, Noctis gets a falcon and Luna gets an opossum and Fluttershy gets Celestia's pet Phoenix a toy

 

>Rarity gives them Christmas themed outfits

 

>Pinkie Pie gives them all party in a box gifts

 

Noctis:" I seriously can't thank you all enough for this, I wish I could give you better presents in return, but I can offer you all each your own star in the night sky, these gifts mean a lot to me."

 

Luna:" All of you have given us amazing gifts, these are more gifts than I have ever been given any Christmas. Thank you all so much, I love you all my wonderful friends!"

 

Celestia:" I have to say , these are the most thoughtful Christmas gifts I have received in a long time, thank you Twilight, for your gift on family bonding, I'm so happy you got me this, I'm sure you noticed how much I wished to be with Luna and befriend her better. Thank you all so much, this is the best Christmas ever."

 

Twilight:" Noctis, no need to give us any gifts back, you deserve these after all that you've been through since you came here. You didn't come asking for trouble, but it found you. I'm sure all you wanted was a peaceful life, but you went through so many hardships to get there. "

 

Noctis:" I can honestly say that I never expected any of this to happen. I still don't know what freak accident ended up sending me here, but I couldn't be happier. I spent a week here all by myself, staying in a house in Canterlot. I minded my business. Didn't really care for anyone because no one really wanted to know me, they just wanted to know what I was. No one cared about who I was, everyone just wanted to know what I was. I grew tired of the life style. But it was still a nice change from the war that was everywhere. But then Luna came into my life. She offered her friendship to me that one night, why I was so excited, I had a horrible dream about a gay bath house. Luna eventually managed to snap me out of it. "

 

Celestia:" Well it is great to have had you here Noctis, and it's even better to have you as a brother. I love you Noctis, I know we all can't replace your family and friends, but we're still here for you. We still love you just like they did. You mean a lot to us, believe it. We are your new family and friends, and although we may not be the same, we will always support you."

 

Noctis:" You know, I miss having family and friends who care about me. I haven't seen my old ones in what feels like forever. Things really fell apart after the war. I was drafted, and I ended up in the robot pilot division. I saw things that you couldn't imagine. Luna , the things my evil counterpart pulled off during our trial was only a mere taste of what war. You guys are the best family and friends ever, you were better than my old ones. You loved me more than they ever did. After my father died, there was nothing keeping my family together, and my friends abandoned me."

 

Noctis:" Even my girlfriend and her sister who had taken me as a part of their family deserted me once I was drafted into the war. After seeing many horrible acts of cruelty done by the weapons I possessed, I went AWOL. I abandoned my duties as a soldier and tried to get back to my old house, just to see it again, but as I got there, boom. Everything turned into ashes under the power of the bomb. I was still wearing my anti-nuke armor so I was unaffected. You know when I first came here, I barely remembered them. Celestia even had found a way to send me back before the war, but I would have been doomed from the start. The more time I spend here, the more memories come back, and now I can say I remember it all."

 

Luna:" Noctis, I have witnessed the destruction through your dreams. I even witnessed the destruction first hand when your evil counterpart had sought out conquest of the alternate world. I know I can never replace your girlfriend, but I have been doing my best as your wife to take care of you. "

 

Noctis:" You see the way you all are better is that you all do not have the human sins that plague all of my kind. Your emotions are real. You ACTUALLY love me. And I truly do love you Luna. I truly love you all. You are all the family I always wished I had. You remind me a lot of my old one. But you're so wonderfully different. You all are truly loving and caring. You have given more care to me in the few months I have been here than my family and friends have all my life. Thank you all everyone. You are the most wonderful friends and family in the world."

 

Twilight:" Noctis, I didn't really know what to think of you when I first met you but you but you really grew on me over time. We do love you for you."

 

Luna:" You're the most wonderful husband in the world Noctis. I treasure all of our moments together. This has been the best Christmas of my entire life. You are my life Noctis. I wouldn't trade you for anyone else. Noctis I love you."

 

Noctis:" I love you to Luna, more than everyone here. I love you all as my family. I love you as my friends. Celestia, you are better than any sister ever. Twilight, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie, you're all my very best friends. I would never give you up for anything in this world or the next. Luna, you mean the most to me out of anyone here. If you didn't offer me your friendship, I would have been living a cold and lonely life, wallowing in my depression and sorrow. If it weren't for you, I would have disposed of myself months ago."

 

Luna:" If it weren't for you Noctis, Nightmare Moon and I would have never been at peace. My Sister and I surely wouldn't be as close together, and the citizens would still hate and fear me. You have changed all our lives Noctis, thank you for being so wonderful. And you know what, maybe we can use that time spell Discord gave us to let you see your old home again some day."

 

Noctis:" Thank you Luna, the amount of things you do for me never go unappreciated. I am grateful for every single thing you do for me and every single moment we share. Merry Christmas Luna, I have gotten this gift for you, I made it myself."

 

>Noctis hands over his gift to Luna

 

Luna:" May I open it now?"

 

Noctis:" I wouldn't be giving it to you now if I didn't want you to open it, my Sweet Princess."

 

>Luna excitedly opens up her gift

 

>Inside the box was a poem Noctis wrote proclaiming his undying love for her

 

>Underneath the poem lied a beautifully hoof stitched robe that had been designed to look like the night sky

 

>This robe was not made by Rarity although it was on the same exact quality of one of Rarity's works

 

>It was made by none other than Noctis

 

>The robe was a misty dark blue, similar to the color of the coat of her fur, but different enough to stand out

 

>There were little stars embroidered on the magnificent robe

 

>Luna looks at it in awe and pure euphoria

 

Luna:" Oh Noctis! This is the most beautiful gift ever! All I needed was your love and that was also all I wanted! But you went the extra mile and got me this wonderful and amazing gift. Thank you so much!"

 

Noctis:" It was my pleasure Luna, go ahead, put it on, I'm sure it will look magnificent on you. It does my heart good when I see you truly enjoy a gift. I just wanted to make and give an amazing gift to an amazing pony, to an amazing wife."

 

>Luna hastily uses magic to put on the robe and it fit absolutely perfectly

 

>Every single curve of Luna's body was replicated in the robe

 

>It had perfectly cut out spaces for her tail and wings

 

>Her tail flowed majestically through the robe

 

Luna:" Noctis, this is the most comfortable robe I have ever worn! I'll wear it in good taste my love. Thank you for this amazing gift, from an amazing husband. I love you so much Noctis."

 

Noctis:" I love you to Luna."

 

>The two engage in a romantic, sweet, and passionate kiss as the rest smile and give the two their privacy

 

Luna:" This truly is the best christmas I have ever had in all of my life Noctis."

 

Noctis:" I have to agree, I haven't celebrated christmas in a year or two because of the war that ended up wiping out my race. It's so nice to have a loving family and loving friends. I seriously can not stress that enough. I don't know where I would be without you all. I know I sound like a broken record but its just so wonderful to be with you. Luna I would give up anything so long as I can be with you. After all you did say our love would last forever."

 

Luna:" And it will Noctis, I swear. Our love will never be broken, save for that one time with Chrysalis, but that's a different case. Our love will always keep us connected, for all our lives."

 

Noctis:" Oh Luna, you make me the happiest person ever. I love you more than any combination of words or actions can ever describe."

 

Luna:" Noctis, you always know how to make me smile, kiss me."

 

>Noctis kisses Luna without hesitation and then Celestia and the others return

 

Celestia:" Thank you both for spending the entire day with me, but now it's time to raise your beautiful moon and make your stars shine. If it isn't too much trouble, can I spend the night with you two? As a family? Twilight and her friends must go and spend time with their families, so I thought we could spend time together as one to."

 

Noctis:" I'd love that Celestia, how about you my dear?"

 

Luna:" I'd love it aswell, I love spending time with you Sister, you know that."

 

Celestia:" Oh thank you so much! All I wanted for christmas is for us to spend time together as a family."

 

>Celestia pulls Noctis and Luna in for a group hug and they all share their family love with each other

 

Noctis:" Ah these group hugs are always nice Celestia. You really make me feel like a beloved family member. It's just so nice to have a family again. I love you Sister, and I love you Luna."

 

Celestia:" I love you to Brother, you and I have come a long way since we first met. I remember when you first came here, I simply wanted to know what you were, but I had no intention of ever finding out more about you. And now look at us. You're an Alicorn, you're the husband of my dearest sister Luna, and you're my brother. I certainly can say I didn't ever see this coming, but I am glad it happened and that we are a family."

 

Luna:" None of us ever expected things to turn out the way they did, but no one is complaining. We're happy the way we are."

 

Noctis:" I'm certainly happy with my life here. I never want anything to change, and I'm sure we never will. "

 

>They then go to finally make the night happen at last

 

>Celestia does her part to lower the sun to make room for the Moon

 

>Luna and Noctis raise the moon and then work on arranging the stars into Christmas themed constellations

 

Noctis:" The night sky really does show the festivity of the holiday. I'm sure this night sky is inspiring to those who have been having a rough time. I really wish something like this was possible in the human world, lord knows I needed a cheering up a lot, especially during the holidays since my father passed. Ah no matter what I do, my father always ends up fighting his way to the front of my thoughts. A stubborn man even in thought. Oh how I miss him."

 

Celestia:" You know Noctis, Luna and I know how you feel."

 

Noctis:" You do?"

 

Luna:" Indeed, we had lost our father a very long time ago, before we even lost our mother, but his death still resonates within our minds every so often. Our father was someone who was beloved by everyone. He could make anyone in the kingdom smile. When he passed away, he left us with many unfulfilled promises."

 

Noctis:" Exactly like my father..."

 

Noctis:" You know, my father and I had done many things together, and what makes me feel sad is that most of the time, I was hesitant to do things with him. No matter how many good times we had, I still feared my own father when I was younger. He was a wonderful father but he passed away too soon. I feel bad for fearing him, but I always did love him to. He promised we would go many places and do many things, but those promises were left unfulfilled."

 

Celestia:" I'm sorry to hear that Noctis, but come on, let's think about good times instead of bad. Happy memories instead of sad. "

 

Luna:" Let's just enjoy the holiday. After all it is still Christmas."

 

Noctis:" You've got a point. Come on, just like my family used to say, Tis the season to be jolly."

 

>The three open up the Castle doors and allow any citizens to come in and visit

 

>They are happy to see some friendly faces around, lightening up their spirits

 

>After a while Twilight and her family shows up, and by extension Cadence

 

Cadence:" Celestia! Luna! Anon! So great to see you again! We certainly don't see each other enough!"

 

Noctis:" Great to see you to Cadence! Hard to believe how long it's been since I last saw you. It's been so long that you don't even know about my new name. Call me Noctis please."

 

Cadence:" Noctis, what a wonderful name! I'm honestly just so happy to see you! I'm sorry Shining Armor and I couldn't make it to the celebration of your return so long ago, we wanted to see you but we had duties to do. Remember, we're still your friends. If you ever want to talk to us, please feel free to stop by the Crystal Empire. After all, our citizens really love the way you make the night sparkle and shine! They'd love to meet you!"

 

Luna:" Well we'll just have to visit! We really don't see each other enough and we should spend more time with each other. Celestia could even come with us!"

Twilight:" You can count on me Celestia, I do my best to make sure everything ends up the way you want it to. I haven't failed you yet! Well except for that time I pretty much was the problem but that only happened once!"

 

Celestia:" I trust in you Twilight, but don't worry, we're not going anywhere tonight, it is Christmas after all. Cadence, how long will you be staying here in Canterlot? And who exactly is looking after the Crystal Empire?"

 

Cadence:" We have our best guy on the job for that, Flash Sentry!"

 

Noctis:" Yeah I would ask who that is, but honestly, I could care less. He might be a nice guy but you're all here and I want to focus on my friends."

 

>The friends continue to converse all night

 

>Most of the talk is spent with Cadence and Shining Armor catching up with Noctis and Luna

 

Noctis:" You know , the funniest thing is that I actually wanted to kill you in an alternate world, Cadence."

 

Cadence:" Uhhh... not sure how to exactly respond to that. I mean I understand your quest was strange but..."

 

Luna:" Don't take it the wrong way Cadence, we never killed you and Noctis never wanted to kill you. It was his other half who had taken over as a part of the quest. Don't worry, I made sure you weren't harmed."

 

Cadence:" That's still a bit strange but oh well."

 

>Cadence then laughs a little

 

Noctis:" Yeah I guess it isn't exactly a big plot point of the quest anyways. But I'm just glad you weren't there yourself. It was chaos, my other half, now obliterated of course, he was killing everything in sight. He knew no such thing as mercy, he just slaughtered anyone who stood in his path. Eventually Luna had helped me split away and we had clashed in a huge battle. Ah but when we finally returned home, it was one of the happiest moments of my life. I had missed Canterlot and all my friends and Luna for days. It was the longest week of my life."

 

>Noctis and Luna continue retelling the events of the quest to their friends

 

>The time passes by quick and the time to lower the moon and make it day soon comes

 

Noctis:" Hey everyone, would you come with Luna and I to watch us lower the moon?"

 

Cadence:" That sounds wonderful Noctis! I honestly never saw you do it up close!"

 

Twilight:" Neither have I! Thanks for this Noctis!"

 

Luna:" Alright then, come with us!" Says Luna with a smile on her face

 

>They walk outside to the balcony and they all watch in ecstasy as they see the moon gracefully fall as the sun slowly rises

 

>The stars twinkle in the night as they fade away in the light of the sun

 

>They all cheered for Celestia, Noctis, and Luna

 

>They then share a big group hug and they all depart to their separate ways

 

Noctis:" Alright Sister, Luna and I really need our sleep, we'll be going to sleep."

 

Celestia:" I'll be going to sleep soon to. There should be no problems today since the day after Christmas is a day where all evil acts are forbidden and restricted by a powerful spell. We shouldn't fear anything bad happening that can't be resolved by itself."

 

Luna:" Okay Sister! Sleep well! I love you!"

 

Celestia:" I love you to Luna! Sleep well to!"

 

Luna:" Oh I know I will!"

 

>They then go on their way to their bed

 

>Luna and Noctis get in their bed and snuggle til they fall asleep

 

>Luna then starts having a nightmare

 

>The nightmare is of the day her mother perished

 

>She relives every single moment in horror

 

>But this time the ending is different

 

>Sora speaks to Luna sometime after the bright light had made her and Noctous, King of the Dark Realm, vanish

 

Sora:" You know Luna, I'm really proud of you. You have really grown up to be a beautiful Alicorn princess. I'm so sorry I wasn't there to help you when Nightmare Akuma had been deceiving you and when she was tormenting you for 1000 years on the moon. Luna, even if you become Nightmare Moon again someday for whatever reason, I'll still love you. A mother always loves her child."

 

Sora:" Remember that even though you and Akuma started out differently, Akuma has been diminished into nothing but you. Your darkness and her darkness formed to make Nightmare Moon. You are Nightmare Moon and she is you, no matter how she may exhibit different personality traits. When she manifests herself outside of you, she's really just the darkness in your heart. And congratulations on your marriage. I really wish I could have been there for your wedding, or on your quest, or at your return celebration, but we both know I can't. I love you Luna, no matter what happens to you. You will always be my daughter along with Celestia."

 

Luna:" Mother... Is that really you? There's so much I want to ask you! So much I want to tell you!"

 

Sora:" Goodbye Luna, although we may never see each other again, the family love and bond that we have keep us connected forever."

 

>Sora then disappears

 

Luna:" No mother! Please wait!"

 

>Luna says this in vain as her mother had disappeared

 

>She began to cry and she woke up crying in the real world to

 

>Her crying wakes Noctis up and he comforts her

 

Noctis:" Luna, I was watching your dream, but some powerful force prevented me from entering it, but it wasn't dark magic. It was a whole different type of magic that I have never seen before. I think that might have been your actual mother. Although I have never seen her before, parts of her soul were similar to yours, so I have every right to assume. Don't worry Luna, I'm sure one day you'll see her again."

 

Luna: Still sobbing "Are you sure?? That that was my true mother? I haven't seen her in so many years, that it's almost impossible to remember how long it's exactly been! Oh Noctis, at least I have you and Celestia who love me. If it weren't for you both, I'm sure my heart would be as black as ink."

 

>Noctis holds Luna in a loving embrace and helps her fall asleep again

 

>Noctis comes into her dreams and they dream together in harmony

 

>Luna and Noctis visit an alternate world in their dreams

 

>By accident, they unknowingly end up in Celestia's dream

 

>They don't enter but they do spectate out of curiosity

 

>Anon and Celestia are raising the morning sun

 

Anon:" Oh Celestia, I have to say, this is so much more fun with you than it was with Luna. "

 

Celestia:" Oh come on now, she is our sister, it's not nice to speak ill of her."

 

Anon:" But you're still better Celestia, trust me you're so much more fun and friendly. She can be... strange sometimes."

 

Celestia:" Yes but I still love her for who she is."

 

Anon:" Haha I remember when you were jealous of her for a change. She had me all to herself and you didn't. It was always fun watching you show a few signs of jealousy behind our backs every now and then. It was just so cute of you Celestia."

 

Celestia:" I guess it was" She lets out a little laugh as she blushes a bright red

 

Anon:" You know, you're so pretty when you blush."

 

>Anon kisses Celestia on the lips and the two embrace each other sweetly in their room

 

Celestia:" Anon, marrying you was the best decision of my life. I'm so happy to have you, even if I had to pull a few strings to get you, it was all worth it."

 

Anon:" Oh Celestia, you're so sweet and you're so perfect. Everything about you is beautiful. Your heart, your fur, your mane, your tail, your entire body, and your personality. You have no flaws my Sweet Princess."

 

>Celestia blushes even more than before

 

>She then kisses Anon with all her love

 

>The two spend hours together just cuddling and snuggling and embracing each other

 

Anon:" Celestia, never change. I want you to be like this forever, I want to be with you forever."

 

Celestia:" Oh Anon, you're so sweet. I want to be with you forever to."

 

>A loud knocking is heard on their door

 

Luna:" Celestia, Anon, we must speak."

 

Luna:" Listen, I know we haven't exactly been on good terms since the night that we all pretty much split up, but I'd like to still be treated as if I'm family you know."

 

Celestia:" Alright Luna, just come in."

 

Luna:" I refuse to do so, it's your room, not mine. Just come out."

 

Anon:" Alright we're coming."

 

>Anon looks to Celestia in a bit of fear to see what Luna might do to them

 

Celestia:" I'm sure she wouldn't do anything bad to us, come on we can go out."

 

>Anon and Celestia walk out of their room, holding one another's hooves

 

Luna:" Well its good to finally see you, you know you spent the majority of the day in your room and I had to do your royal duties?"

 

Celestia:" I'm sorry sister, I just get so distracted with Anon because I love him so much."

 

Anon:" I love you to Celestia. You're the best."

 

>Luna lets out a sigh

 

Luna:" Well I can tell you're certainly madly in love with each other... and you're perfectly content without me. I'm sorry to have interrupted your time together... I... I must go now. You two enjoy each other's company. It's obvious there is no room for me in your hearts."

 

Celestia:" Please Luna, don't go."

 

Anon:" You know just because I love Celestia, doesn't mean that I don't care for you like a sister Luna."

 

Luna:" What ever. Just leave me alone. I'm going to go."

 

>Luna storms off, still obviously heart broken that Celestia has Anon and they are married and she's still all alone.

 

Celestia:" I wish we could find someone for her."

 

Anon:" Me too. But let's not worry each other about her. She'll be fine."

 

Celestia:" I hope."

 

>Anon kisses Celestia

 

Anon:" Believe me, she will be just fine. Celestia, my love, you can trust me. I would never betray you. All of my heart belongs to you. I'm so grateful that we're together, believe me I am. "

 

Celestia:" I'm grateful we're together to Anon, I wouldn't give you away for anyone else. I want you to be all mine."

>Unbeknownst to Celestia and Anon, Luna remains just outside their room, using magic to view them in their loving embrace

Celestia:" Oh Anon, it's so great to be with you. I guess you can say, you're the colt of my dreams."

 

Anon:" I am? Celestia... you have no idea how much that really means to me. You of course being so amazing, it's hard to believe you love me so much."

 

Celestia:" Well you better believe it, because it's true."

 

>Anon and Celestia go onto their bed to snuggle again

 

>They hold each other close and kiss each other with a burning passion

 

>Luna, then runs away from the Castle and writes a note to Anon and Celestia, declaring that she is never coming back

 

>She goes to live in her solitude as Celestia and Anon are blissfully unaware that she's gone

 

Celestia:" You're the best colt in the world Anon, please, never change."

 

Anon:" I promise Celestia, I will never change. So long as you love me, nothing will change."

 

>The dream ends and Noctis and Luna wake up

 

>They notice it's about noon

 

Noctis:" Whose dream did you think that was?"

 

Luna:" I can honestly say, I have no clue."

 

Noctis:" Well, lets visit Celestia, we should tell her about the dream you had about your mother, and we can tell her about the dream we just witnessed to."

 

Luna:" Sounds like a good idea, let's go."

 

>Noctis and Luna meet Celestia in the hallways

 

Noctis:" Hey Celestia, can we talk?"

 

Celestia:" Why of course you can! Come to my room, we can talk in private there."

 

>Luna and Noctis walk to Celestia's room

 

Celestia:" Now what is it you wanted to talk to me about?"

 

Luna:" Well first of all sister, I had the strangest dream last night, you remember our mother correct? Well I had dreamed of the day we lost her. It was a nightmare. I relived every terrifying moment. But there was one moment that was different. Sora came back. She spoke to me."

 

>Noctis and Luna are surprised by this announcement

 

Luna:" Really? You're jealous of the love Noctis and I share? Oh Sister, come here, give me a hug."

 

>Celestia comes in for the hug Luna offered and the two sisters again share their family love for each other

 

Celestia:" Yes, it's true. I have a crush on Noctis. I always had one on you but I never really was vocal about it because I knew your heart was with Luna. "

 

Noctis:" Oh Celestia, I love you but like a sister, because you are my sister. I see why you've been trying so hard to spend time with us, and I'm glad we all spend time as a family."

 

>Noctis then pulls everyone in for a group hug

 

Celestia:" Well... now that we have that out of the way... the news about Sora is disturbing. I've seen some signs that would hint at her returning, but I never really thought it would happen."

 

Luna:" You've seen signs of her actually returning? But sister, she's nothing but spirit! I'm sure of it!"

 

Celestia:" She never really "perished" you know, from what you told me, she disappeared in a huge flash of white light. That doesn't necessarily mean she's gone. For all we know, she could have been trapped in another realm for all these years."

 

Luna:" But why is she making contact with us now? What makes now so much more different than before?"

 

Celestia:" I'm not quite sure, but the signs of her return have been showing up."

 

Noctis:" Like what?"

 

Celestia:" The sun has been acting strangely lately, and the sky seems to have a mind of it's own. Our mother was the one who controlled the sky before us. She was the one who raised the sun and moon, who aligned the stars at night, who made the sun beam with unparalleled brightness."

 

Luna:" You have a point there sister. If our mother is truly still alive, we need to help out as much as we can."

 

Noctis:" You know, this is just a suggestion, but Discord gave us a book on time travel for Christmas. Perhaps to understand how to get your mother back, we need to go back in time to see what exactly happened when she had disappeared."

 

Celestia:" That's a great idea Noctis! Maybe we can get Discord to help us to, after all, it was his book. Maybe he can help us."

Discord:" Did I hear my name mentioned?"

 

Noctis:" Well that was quick. You know, you remind me a lot about people from a place on the human world called the internet. You dare mention anything related to them and they will pop up in an instant. Anyways, glad to see you again Discord. How's your freedom?"

 

Discord:" Ah the free life is the best life. Not having to be bound by your rules anymore is a huge relief to be honest. Being constantly summoned by that spell was just so annoying. I'm glad I can actually have free will again. It's fun being able to manipulate whatever you please."

 

Luna:" I'm glad you're enjoying it, but I hope you haven't caused too much calamity and chaos that could cause harm to us."

 

Discord:" I wouldn't dare! Besides I've seen you and Noctis in action enough times that you can easily wipe the floor with me if you wanted to. Even Twilight, being the Alicorn princess she is, can send me back to my rather uncomfortable stone prison. Besides, whenever I have my fun, I always clean up when I've had enough. "

 

Noctis:" Well that's good. So Discord, do you know why we were talking about you?"

 

Discord:" Of course I do! I've been snooping around long enough to know that Celestia has a crush on you to."

 

>Celestia blushes as Discord mentions her infatuation with Noctis again

 

Discord:" Anyways, I know that you want to go back in time to see that mother of yours, Sora. I have to tell you that my magic will not be able to help you. It requires Alicorn magic. It was simply a book I had lying around and I thought Noctis would like to see his home world again some day. May I suggest that Twilight comes here and assists you?"

 

>Celestia, still blushing, agrees with Discord

 

Celestia:" I'll write to her at once. I know she has the power to help us."

 

Discord:" It's not necessary. Do you forget who I am? I can do anything I wish. I'll just magically snap her over here."

 

>With a snap of a finger, Twilight and the book she was reading appear before them, on the ceiling

 

> She then falls from the air and hits the Castle's floor

 

Twilight:"Um, what just happened?"

 

Celestia:" Twilight! Good to see you again!"

 

Twilight:" Celestia? What am I doing here? How did I get here?"

 

Discord:" You can thank me Twilight, I was the one who brought you here."

 

Twilight:" I should've known it was you Discord. Only you would teleport me in such a crude way, especially when I'm studying!"

 

Discord:" What could you possibly be studying now? You're a princess! You're no longer a student! What is there to study for?"

 

Twilight:" Just because I'm a Princess now doesn't mean that I should stop my studying."

 

Discord:" True. And if it weren't for your accursed passion for literature and books, you wouldn't have found your elements of harmony in your book to defeat me. I suppose your studying does do good, but in all honesty, you need to tone it down a bit. I mean seriously what else is there to learn?"

 

Twilight:" You can learn anything from books Discord. There's limitless knowledge in the world and in literature."

 

>Twilight begins to rant on about books

 

>Discord prepares himself a bed as he pretends to fall asleep during Twilight's rant

 

>About 10 minutes pass and Noctis finally decides to stop her

 

Noctis:" Twilight, no offense, but you can stop now. I love literature to, I even wrote some for my friends to enjoy. But we have dragged this out for long enough."

 

Luna:" Indeed we have. We got Discord to summon you here in the first place because we need your help."

 

Twilight:" You need my help? With what?"

 

Celestia:" Twilight, Luna and I's mother may be returning from wherever she is. The signs are apparent to me and she even had visited Luna's dream last night."

 

Discord:" Yes and then someone intruded on your dream Celestia didn't they? After all, all the sweet things you and your dream version of Noctis were saying were so cute!"

 

>Celestia glows bright red again and she seems flustered by the words Discord says

 

Twilight:" So Sora is returning? That's amazing! I'll finally get to meet your mother! But I always thought she already had passed away. How does that work? And what in the hoof is Discord talking about?"

 

Discord:" Do tell her Celestia, if not, I can make this 10 times as embarrassing for you, you know."

 

>Celestia hesitates and starts to speak

 

>Discord then shuts her down

 

Discord:" Ah ah ah. You hesitated. Prepare to be embarrassed Celestia. Oh this will be a joy indeed. "

>A magical hologram of sorts begins replaying the dream Celestia had about her and Noctis

 

>Celestia is blushing the brightest shade of red possible

 

>She tries to hide her face in her mane

 

>After a while Twilight just demands that Discord stops this

 

Twilight:" I wish I didn't ask. I should've known Discord would blow this thing out of proportion. Discord just stop this. I was summoned here for something important, and I think it's about time we get back on track."

 

Noctis:" Christ Discord, you're like the conversation derailment master. You find one thing to exploit and end up getting us so far off topic. This is a figurative derailment if I've ever seen one."

 

Luna:" Sister, come on now. There's nothing to be shy about. I'm perfectly fine with you having feelings for Noctis. I know you'd never take him from me in reality. Besides, it's only a dream, nothing bad can happen with that."

 

Celestia:" Are you sure Luna? I mean it's just something that I never wanted anyone to know. It was one of my deepest secrets but it's out now. Thank you SO much Discord. I can see your freedom hasn't made you any less whimsical and chaotic.

 

Discord:" You got that right Celestia. But you know, sometimes you all are no fun at all."

 

Luna:" I'm sure Celesita. No hard feelings or anything."

 

>The two sister's then hug each other

 

Noctis:" And it's fine with me to Celestia. Honestly I'm a bit flattered. But come on, let's get to the topic at hand. Twilight, we need you to help us go back to the past. We need as much Alicorn magic as we can get. The more magic, the longer we can stay there. The longer we stay there the better. We want to see the events of the day Sora disappeared to see if there's anything we can do to help understand how to bring her back. She's been trying to come here but to no avail. So I thought that if we delve into the past we can understand the events better and understand the present better as well."

 

Twilight:" I'd be happy to help. I've always wanted to meet Sora to. This can get pretty interesting. So where do we start?"

 

Luna:" Well Discord had given Noctis and I a time travel book for Chrsitmas, so we will simply use the correct spell to go to the point in time we need to get to and simply observe. Then we can freeze time with another spell in the book to see every last detail."

 

Twilight:" That sounds like my kind of thing. Dissecting every last detail out of something is what I do best! Other than read and lecture others of course."

 

Celestia: So when do we start?

 

Noctis:Id say the sooner the better honestly.

 

Luna:I agree. Lets preform the spell.

 

Noctis: Wait a minute, who will be in charge while were gone? If 4 members of the Royal Hierarchy are gone, who will rule?

 

Celestia: Cadence of course! Discord, if you may do the honors.

 

Discord: Oh what? You want me to summon someone else here?

Twilight:Youll have to summon my sister here Discord, come on, be nice to me for once?

 

Discord: Oh alright. I suppose Ive had my fun with you all already. Having someone new to screw around with will be fun.

 

>With the snap of a finger Discord teleports Cadence to the Castle

 

Cadence: Ugh, where am I?

 

>Cadence is disoriented from the teleportation

 

Twilight: Cadence! Great to see you!

 

Cadence: Twilight! What am I doing here?

 

Twilight: We need you to watch over Equestria while we are gone. Were going back in time Cadence. Can you please do it for us?

 

Cadence: Id be delighted to Twilight!

 

>Twilight and Cadence properly greet each other by doing their usual hoof shake

 

>The two recite the words and do that little shake

 

Noctis: Well that was cute, but we need to get going now. We need to find out more about Sora and the past before we waste any more time here in the present! Weve delayed this for long enough! Sometimes I wonder how you got anything done before I showed up.

 

Luna:Noctis has a point. Come on, we need to perform the spell.

 

Twilight: Alright, lets do it, Ill get the pages we need.

 

>Twilight creates a magic copy of the pages they needed to go back in time and freeze time at will as she delved inside the book

 

>She starts to get a little carried away, reading things that arent relevant to the topic at hand

 

Celestia: Twilight, come on. Noctis has a point. We must go now.

 

Twilight: Oh alright. See you when we get back Cadence!

 

Cadence: See you! You can all rest assured that the kingdom of Equestria is in good hooves!

 

>Twilight, Noctis, Luna, and Celestia all recite the spell and use all their power to go back in time

 

>They arrive in the past, moments before Noctous, King of the Dark Realm, had destroyed their castle and home

 

Luna:" Oh how I miss this Castle. It is a shame we will only get to see it here in the past don't you think Celestia?"

 

Celestia:" I really do miss this place. It was our childhood home. Then Noctous destroyed it all. I remember the horrible feeling of being dragged away from you forcefully. I didn't see you again after a month. It's surprising how a happy memory can also bring back so many sad ones."

 

Twilight:" So this is where you and Luna grew up? Wow, this is such a nice place! What happened?"

 

Luna:" I believe you shall see in a moment Twilight. You shall see the horrors we faced all those years ago when we were mere foals. It was twice as terrifying as no one had ever attacked us before. We were always under the protection of the guards or our mother. We never knew what real danger was."

 

Celestia:" Yes, our mother was indeed very protective of us. Oh how I miss her so much. I really hope that we can get her back. This better at least help somehow. I'd do anything to get our mother back."

 

Luna:" I would to. Celestia, you have no idea how painful it is for me to relive these moments, I witnessed what I thought was the demise of my own mother right before my eyes. It was terrifying."

 

Noctis:" Be quiet all of you. They can still hear and see us if we're not careful. I suggest sneaking into the castle to get a closer look."

 

Twilight:" I agree with Noctis. We need to get in there."

 

Luna:" Well I suppose it could do some good."

 

>The four head towards the castle

 

>Right before they could enter, Luna had accidentally bumped into Sora

 

Sora:" Luna? Is that you?"

 

Noctis:" Well shit, there goes the time space continuum. I'm ready to not exist anymore."

 

Sora:" It is you! So it seems my message got to you after all."

 

>Everyone appears shocked

 

Noctis:" Listen, Sora, Queen of Equestria, what the hell are you talking about? How the hell do you know who we are?"

 

Sora:" Oh this will be a long story."

 

Luna:" I'm sorry, I just don't understand! How do you know all of us? You mean to tell me that message I got from a dream was merely just you in the past?"

 

Sora:" Well, yes. Luna, Celestia, it's wonderful to see you all grown up. I know I won't be around, but believe me, I'm not dead. I knew very well the events of today. But I also knew there was no way to avoid it. So once the oracle had predicted the future, I wanted to send you a message sometime in the future. After the future was foretold, I wanted to view the future for myself. So I asked Star Swirled the Bearded to create a spell where I can see all the way in to the future that I want, but in reality, It would only be seconds. So I decided to watch you both grow. I'm so sorry I never was there for you."

 

Noctis:" Hold on, this doesn't make any fucking sense at all. We must have gone into some other alternate reality because theoretically this would mean we were always destined to come back in time. God time travel is weird."

 

Sora:" Noctis, you are honestly the most logical thinker here. But believe me, your presence here makes no difference on the overall outcome. Whether or not you were always destined to come back in time is a thing that can easily be ignored. This moment can essentially never happen and everything will play out the same. Listen, I know that Noctous is going to invade, I know that I'm going to end up vanishing, but in order to keep the correct future, we must do this. I must ask that you do not interfere with the fight between Noctous and I. Everything must happen exactly the way it did or else you may not exist anymore."

 

Luna:" But mother, I don't know if I can stand to lose you again. Are you sure everything must be exactly the same?"

 

Sora:" Do you want to remain married to Noctis? Then everything must be the same. Here, have this. It's Star Swirl the Bearded's summoning book. Noctous and I spend eternity in a sort of void in time and space. "

 

Sora:" In order to open that void, you must use this book. Only it has the secrets that can help you bring me back. Good luck to you. Now if you'll excuse me, I have two daughters I need to see one last time before I go."

 

Twilight:" But this spell is unfinished!"

 

Sora:" Has that ever stopped you before Twilight Sparkle? You managed to write the spell that Star Swirl never could for he did not understand the magic of friendship like you did. The more you delve into his journal and this book, the more you will understand how to bring me back. Luna and Celestia, come here, you deserve one hug from your mother."

 

Celestia:" A hug? Oh mom, you have no idea for how many years I wanted to feel your soft fur and hug you again."

 

>Luna and Celestia begin to cry as Sora gives them both a heart warming good bye hug

 

Sora:" I love you both equally, remember that. I will always love you no matter what you do. Good bye. See you in the future."

 

>Sora then walks off as she goes to accept her destiny

 

>Celestia And Luna still cry together, hugging each other as they still doubt that they will ever see their mother again

 

Noctis:" Luna, we'll get her back. I promise you."

Celestia:" Now can we go? I don't believe we need to re-witness the demise of our home."

 

Noctis:" Celestia, perhaps the past still holds some secrets that we can use to our advantage. Perhaps it could give us help with Star Swirl's spell."

 

Celestia:" Oh... alright. Anything for our mother, right Sister?"

 

Luna:" Right."

 

>The four of them decide to stay and watch the events go down

 

Noctis:" I hope this different perspective can help us understand the events better. I mean I know Sora must do what she must, but what exactly DOES she do? What spell does she cast?"

 

Luna:" You know, I never really thought about that. Twilight, when my mother preforms her spell, I'd like you to pause time and analyze what spell she is using. I'm sure since you have such a vast knowledge on such things, you can be of assistance."

 

Twilight:" Sure thing Luna. I'll do my best to help."

 

>The four of them watch over Sora and the past versions of Celestia and Luna

 

>Before long, they finally hear the booming voice of the King of the Dark Realm

 

>Beside him, they notice his daughter, Princess Akuma, who was about Luna's age

 

>Nightmare Moon then pops out

 

Nightmare Moon:" Ah it's hard to believe that this happened oh so many years ago. This was before I became one with the nightmare energy, before I became Nightmare Akuma. Before I became you, Luna. This day has always lived in infamy in my mind. I never got to say anything about this during the trials because Mempharious had silenced me. I remember seeing my father vanish before my eyes in a bright light. He was all I had left, and your mother had taken him from me. I was then left to rule the Dark Realm all by myself. Considering the fact that I was a foal back then, the same age as you were Luna, the Dark realm Empire had fallen apart and I was exiled. I remember when I was offered strength, power, and confidence by the nightmare creatures. All I had to do was become their queen. And eventually I did. Ah I remember it all like it was yesterday. We've certainly been through a lot Luna, haven't we?"

 

Luna:" Indeed we have, Akuma. I am sorry our mother had gotten rid of your father, but we were just as emotionally distressed as you. Now let's be quiet and not interrupt anything important."

 

>The King's dark and booming voice was heard again, now talking to Luna's and Celestia's mother

 

King of the Dark Realm:" Sora! Queen of the new nation of Equestria! I demand an audience with you at once!"

 

Sora:" Well if it isn't Noctous, King of the Dark Realm. What brings you here? What is your business?"

 

Acerbus:" Noctous may have been the name my ancestors gave me, but I have abandoned that name for another. My name is now Acerbus. My business here is to take over your Kingdom. You have infringed on the laws of the Empire of the Dark Realm. This place was once a colony of the Dark realm before you had built your castle and kingdom here."

 

Sora:" Nonsense! That is nothing but lies Acerbus! There was no settlement here! This land was completely untouched! We even had to take some trees down ourselves to build here! This has always been the land of Equestria. If anything, you can say it was first the land of the Earth ponies, Pegasi, and Unicorns until we had all come together to create one nation. Since I was an Alicorn, I was chosen to be the queen. I also had the most leadership experience out of all of them as I am the eldest of them all. You have never done anything here Acerbus!"

 

Acerbus:" Maybe not on the land you are currently on, but eons ago, not too far from here, there was a Dark Realm settlement, until it was pushed back by the precious light of your sun and moon. My point is, either give up your kingdom for rule by the Dark Realm, or we will take it by force!"

 

Sora:" I will never give up this kingdom! This place is a peaceful place! It was perfectly fine until you had shown up! You do not need to conquer us. We can be allies!"

 

Acerbus:" Why be allies and only get a fraction of the value, when I can easily conquer you and take all the land and it's resources for myself?"

 

Sora:" You are nothing Acerbus. You are heartless. You are a demon. You are nothing but a selfish and greedy pig. I will never let you have this kingdom."

 

Sora:" And I doubt your daughter Akuma is any different. She is going to grow up to be as horrible as you."

 

Acerbus:" Oh please, she may have been originally named Akuma but her true name is Nocturna Supressio."

 

Nocturna:" But you may call me Princess Nocturna you disrespectful plebeian."

 

Sora:" I see she already has a heart as black as night. Appropriate for the heir to the throne of an evil kingdom."

 

>Meanwhile, Nightmare Moon and the others continue to have a conversation

 

Nightmare Moon:" That's right... How could I forget? The name my father gave me was Nocturna!"

 

Luna:" I apologize, I've called you the wrong name for years."

 

Nightmare Moon:" Well we're both essentially the same person now, so honestly, any name you call me is fine. Our darknesses are one and the same Luna, I am simply now the extension of your darkness with memories of who I was before all of this."

 

Twilight:" Wow, this is deep. Luna, you're certainly one of the most complex ponies ever."

 

Nocturna:" YOU MAY NOT INSULT ME YOU FILTH! LEARN YOUR PLACE!"

 

>Nocturna then fires a laser to smite Sora

 

Acerbus:" Enough Nocturna, I believe Sora has learned her lesson. Now hand over your kingdom or else we will destroy it with the utmost brutality."

 

Sora:" I will never let you have this place, if it burns down to the ground, so be it. All I had was a simple goal, that all the types of ponies may live in harmony in one nation. That there would be peace. That we could all be happy. But then people like you come complaining about our harmony and it causes nothing but discord. Why must you disrupt something?"

 

Acerbus:" Because no one likes your kingdom. No one wants this place of harmony. Perhaps the few that live in your kingdom like it but the other kingdoms despise it. If it isn't me who takes it over then some other Kingdom will."

 

Sora:" I doubt that. I will continue my reign until the end."

 

Acerbus:" MEN INVADE EQUESTRIA!"

 

>The invasion tears through the castle and the rest of the kingdom in mere minutes

 

Sora:" Luna! Celestia! Run! It's not safe here!"

 

Celestia:" But mom! Please! I can help! So can Luna!"

 

Sora:" NO BUTS! YOU'RE STILL TO YOUNG! YOU MUST GO! RUN AWAY!"

 

Luna:" Please mother! Thou must have something for us to do!"

 

Sora:" If you stay any longer, you may be killed. If such a thing should happen to you, I would not be able to live with myself."

 

>Luna and Celestia then run off together, heeding their mother's words

 

>They are captured as soon as they get out of the castle

 

>Meanwhile a fight between Acerbus and Sora has broken out

 

Sora:" You may have my subjects, but I will free them!"

 

Acerbus:" I pity you. You're so blinded for your own good and innocent purposes that you can not see defeat when it is in your face and imminent."

 

>Sora shoots a beam of light out of her horn in anger

 

>It hurts Acerbus, but barely

 

Acerbus:" If that's the best you got then you are done for."

 

Acerbus:" You will be destroyed. Why we already have your daughters. You will never win this."

 

>Acerbus then fires a huge beam of darkness and destroys the Castle Luna, Sora, And Celestia called home

 

>The modern day Celestia and Luna take a moment to reflect on the destruction of their Childhood home

 

Luna:" You know sister, it hurts to see it destroyed everyime."

 

Celestia:" It really does... So many good memories in that home, but then it was destroyed in one blink of an eye."

 

>Luna and Celestia begin to cry and they hug each other in their sisterly love

 

>The tears slowly flow down their faces

 

>The castle had collapsed right onto Sora

 

>Only her wing was visible from the rubble

 

>The army was going through all of early Equestria, burning homes, kidnapping children, killing innocent civilians

 

Noctis:" Damn... I had no idea that this world was capable of such evil... I thought Humans were the only race to do something like this. It reminds me all too much of what my evil counterpart did in that alternate universe."

 

Luna:" I remember the horrible destruction... your race is still very much more capable of destruction. These kinds of battles ended years ago. Only through all the battle did we find peace. Your world was never at peace and always was having a fight with someone else. Your people destroyed your world with horrible weapons, we use powerful magic to fight, and sometimes brute force, but a battle like this hasn't happened in more years than I can really remember."

 

Noctis:" I just can't stand here and let them destroy Equestria! We need to do something!"

 

Celestia:" Noctis, no. We have to let everything happen as it was. If we change anything, who knows what could happen."

 

Noctis:" But I can't just watch people die!"

 

Luna:" Celestia is right Noctis, these people are destined to die, if we change even the slightest thing, who knows what could happen. Perhaps Celestia and I could even cease to exist. And I enjoy existing, especially with you Noctis. Think of our love, we may never even meet should you change anything, you never know what secrets the past truly holds. If you break one part of the chain, it all falls apart. We must not interfere!"

 

>Noctis lets out a growling sound but then backs down

 

Noctis:" Fine..."

 

>The foal Luna still hasn't escaped free and Noctis notices that

 

Noctis:" Luna, you should have escaped the guards by now... I don't like this."

 

>Noctis then dashes off the help the past version of his wife

 

Luna:" Wait!"

 

>Noctis ignores Luna

 

>Noctis dashes through to the guards kidnapping Luna

 

>While the guard is distracted with what Noctis is doing, the past version of Luna manages to escape his grasp and run over to her mother

 

Luna:"Mother! I'm coming!"

 

>Sora is still under all the rubble and Acerbus is still ordering his men around to destroy the entire kingdom

 

>Sora then emerges from the rubble

 

Sora:" How... dare... you... You monster... You will... not...get...away...with...this..."

 

>Sora then collapses

 

>Acerbus lets out a booming and evil laugh

 

Acerbus:" It is actually quite humorous how you actually thought you could stop me Sora. Your light will never defeat my powerful darkness. Darkness is eternal, light can easily be wiped out. And even if there is light, there is always darkness. You can not defeat me Sora, no matter how hard you may try. Men, take her away to the dungeons."

 

>Luna then comes in screaming to help her mother

 

Luna:" Mother! Are you okay?!"

 

Sora:" L-Lll-Luna? What are you... still doing here? You must... leave... now..."

 

Luna:" Celestia was captured and so was I! I managed to get away from the guards that took me when they were distracted but I do not know where Celestia is as she and I were separated. Please let me help you! I learned some magic transfer spell from the books you forbade me to read."

 

Sora:" You know... we're going to have to have... a talk... when... this is all... over... There was... a reason why I... did not... want you... reading those books... but I suppose... it is a lost cause now..."

 

>Sora begins to fade in and out of consciousness

 

>The present day Luna comments on the words of her mother

 

Luna:" And that talk had never came... these were my last words to her..."

 

>The past Luna speaks her final words to her mother

 

Luna:" Please mom, let me help you with my magic. It is the only way you can really defeat him and stop all of this."

 

Sora:" Alright Luna... cast the spell on me... give me your magic..."

 

>Luna then casts the spell and transfers 90% of all of her magic to her mother

 

>Sora's wounds begin to heal and her body seems to flow with energy, giving off a white aura of light

 

Sora:" Oh my! Luna, you possess a powerful magic reserve inside of you! I had not even known about this! You have a lot of hidden potential! We'll need to help you keep all that magic under control or else one day, it will corrupt you. Thank you Luna for giving me this strength."

 

Acerbus:" Oh how cute, a mother and her daughter helping each other. How heart warming. Such a futile and foolish effort. Foal, you should have kept your strength to yourself, giving it to your mother won't make a difference."

 

>Sora stands back up, fully healed and recharged to 200% power

 

Sora:" You may think that Acerbus, but she also gave me one magic that you will never understand, the magic of love. My daughter's magic alone had healed all my wounds and reinvigorated me, but it was her love for me that makes me twice as powerful as I was before."

 

Acerbus:" Cute, foolish, but cute. Now prepare to meet your doom as your entire kingdom shall be defeated."

 

Sora:" I will not let you defeat my kingdom! My people need me! My children are not ready for royal duties yet! I will not let them grow up in a world filled with fear and violence. My children shall grow up in a world filled with peace. I know there will always be darkness, but light will always prevail in the end."

 

Acerbus:" You really let yourself believe that foolishness? I pity you. I dare you to defeat me you pathetic and worthless Alicorn."

 

Sora:" I shall defeat you and all of your men! I shall also restore this kingdom to its beauty. Perhaps I can't rebuild the castle with all my magic, but that is the only difference."

 

Acerbus:" You are starting to annoy me rather than entertain me. It's time to dispose of you."

 

>Magic spells of both light and darkness are fired

 

>The two both fire their most powerful attack spell at the same time causing the two lasers to clash with each other

 

>The lasers are stuck in a stalemate as Sora and Acerbus both exert more and more energy to try to over power one another

 

>Sora then realizes what she must do in order to finish this fight

 

>She must use one of Star Swirl the Bearded's greatest spells

 

>It was the same spell that caused Star Swirl to disappear years ago

 

>It was one of the most powerful spells he had ever created, so powerful that he had vanished without a trace

 

>Sora knew that in order to defeat Acerbus, she must use the very same spell

 

>She knew that this meant that she would not be there to watch her daughters grow up

 

>She knew that she would not be able to guide her daughter's should they stray off the path to light

 

>But she then remembered that even though she won't be there for them, they all end up as good people regardless of the misstep that Luna had suffered

 

>Sora still was saddened that she wouldn't be able to watch Luna and Celestia grow but she knew that she had to do what she had to do

 

 

Sora:" Luna... I want you and Celestia to take good care of each other, and remember that I love you both equally. I want you to remember that even though the night may seem less appreciated than the day, there are still many who enjoy its serenity and the enchanting effect of the moon. Remember that you and her are equal in every way. Remember that I will love you both forever. I know one day, you and Celestia will make me a very proud mother."

 

Luna:" Why are you saying this?! What are you doing?!"

 

>With tears dripping from her eyes, Sora preforms the spell

 

Acerbus:" WHAT IS THIS?! THIS SPELL! I THOUGHT IT WAS ONLY A THEORY! I DIDN'T KNOW IT COULD ACTUALLY BE PREFORMED! NO!!!!!"

 

>With a great flash of white and pure light, Sora and Acerbus vanish into thin air and the dark creatures are vaporized

 

>Acerbus charges at Sora and the two clash in an epic battle between light and darkness

 

>The forces of evil are vanquished

 

>Sora and Acerbus are nowhere to be seen

 

>They vanished into thin air without a trace

 

>The past Luna begins to cry as she realizes her mother is gone

 

Luna:" Mommy... you're gone... I guess we never will have that talk..."

 

>Luna sobs uncontrollably at the spot she had last seen her mother as she builds her a small memorial out of the rubble of the castle

 

>Meanwhile the present day Luna and Celestia are also crying in tears as they witnessed their mother's supposed demise knowing that to this day, they still haven't seen her again

 

Celestia:" Luna... it hurts to see this all..."

 

Luna:" It hurts for me too sister... I miss our mother so much... I miss her beautiful and soft red and black mane, her comforting white coat of fur, and her beautiful and loving face... I miss her so much Celestia... seeing this only reminded me of the hundreds of years we spent without her..."

 

Noctis:" Don't worry Luna, I know you miss Sora a lot, but we will get her back, I promise. I will do anything for you my love. I will make sure that we bring Sora back and she can be the loving mother she has wanted to be for years. I'm sure she wants to see you as much as you want to see her."

 

>Luna goes over to Noctis and cries in his arms

 

Noctis:" Luna, I promise, you'll see your mother again sooner than you think."

 

>Noctis gives Luna a reassuring kiss which helps lift her spirits a little

 

Noctis:" Come here Celestia, you need a hug to."

 

Celestia:" Oh thank you Noctis, you are so sympathetic. I love you brother."

 

Noctis:" I love you to sister."

 

>Meanwhile, Twilight has been going through Star Swirl's journal to try to find exactly what spell Sora had used

 

Twilight:" I'm sorry to interrupt the family moment but I still need to find out exactly what spell Sora had cast when she defeated Acerbus. We need to rewind time a bit and pause it at the moment of the flash."

 

Luna:" It's fine Twilight, I'm sorry. Celestia and I got too caught up in our grief and we forgot why we had even come to the past."

 

Celestia:" Forgive us Twilight, it was just a really emotional moment for Luna and I. It's been hundreds of years but the pain of losing a family member never truly goes away."

 

Twilight:" No need to ask for forgiveness, I just wanted to remind everyone why we're even here and that we still have a mission to do. I completely understand why you would be sad, I can't say I know how you feel though. I never had to go through the loss of a loved one."

 

Noctis:" And I hope you don't Twilight. You know I lost everyone I ever knew. All my friends, even though they were few in number, and all my family is dead. The earth is gone and I am it's sole survivor. Everyone who I had cared about on earth is nothing but ashes and dust in the cosmos. It's a horrible feeling Twilight, one you should never have to know."

 

Twilight:" You still have my condolences for what happened Noctis, I know it's painful but remember, if you just let the magic of love and friendship in your heart, you'll feel better. I'm glad to be one of your closest friends and remember I'm always here for you. Now let's rewind this thing a bit and pause it at the right moment."

 

Noctis:" Thanks for being so wonderful Twilight, I'm really glad we're as close as we are. Let's go back in time then shall we Luna and Celestia?"

 

Luna:" Yes, let us go back in time. We must learn anything we can to get our mother back right sister?"

 

Celestia:" Right."

 

>The four alicorns preform the time travel spell one more time and pause at the precise moment that Sora had cast her spell

 

>They hear the echo of Sora's last words that were unknown until now

 

>"I'll miss you all so much, I'm sorry it had to be this way"

 

>The white flash is frozen in time, giving Twilight the perfect angle to view everything and analyze it all

 

Twilight:" The spell Sora is casting must have been one of Star Swirl's secret works. I can't seem to find it in his journal or his spell book. But from the looks of it it was some kind of ultimate defense mechanism spell. From what I understand, Star Swirl used the spell the night he had disappeared forever. Dark forces were coming after him and his spells, and he had no choice but to sacrifice himself to make sure that none of the magic could be found or salvaged. With it though he vanquished his enemies with him. Star Swirl was never seen again. This must be that same exact spell. I can't find it in here though and I've been dissecting both of his written works letter by letter forever."

 

Noctis:" Twilight, care to elaborate more on that spell? What exactly does it do? I know it is a defense mechanism but what does it do to produce the effect?"

 

Twilight:" I wish I knew. I'd have to go through the royal archives for an eternity just to know more about this. I just wish we could have been there to ask Star Swirl himself."

 

Luna:" Then why do we not go ask him? We have his time travel spell, correct? Wouldn't we just be able to go back in time further to the day Star Swirl had used his spell or even further back to the day when he first penned the spell? That way we can know more about it and perhaps he can even help us draft a spell to get Celestia and I's mother back. Would that not be the most beneficial thing to do?"

 

Noctis:" You make a good point Luna. Twilight, can it be done? Can we really go back and meet Star Swirl?"

 

Celestia:" Twilight, we have to do this. If we can meet Star Swirl himself I'm sure he would help us."

 

Twilight:" It can't be done. I'd have to know where Star Swirl's lair used to be before he disappeared with it. We went back here because Luna remembered it so well. I don't think you two have ever met Star Swirl so I'm afraid it just can't be done."

 

Celestia:" Twilight, Luna and I actually have met Star Swirl once. It was when we were even younger than we are here. It was a long time ago and we were visiting him with our mother as she was very good friends with him. I remember them always conversing and always sharing spells with each other. It's no surprise that she knew his most hidden spell."

 

Luna:" That's right! I'm beginning to remember now, I remember how kind he was to us and he would always help us with our abilities to raise the sun and moon. He was like our magic mentor, without him, I don't think I would be able to make the night as enchanting as I do."

 

Twilight:" You two actually learned from Star Swirl?! Wow! What I would give to study under him..."

 

>Meanwhile, in the present

 

>Cadance is watching over Equestria with Discord constantly pestering her with his calamity

 

Cadance:" Discord, you've been doing this ever since I got here. Can you please just stop already?"

 

Discord:" Why should I stop? I'm enjoying myself quite a lot, I must say. It's not my fault that you don't like my creative humor."

 

Cadance:" Ugh, I wish Shining Armor was here. He would help me deal with this pest."

 

Discord:" Oh boo hoo, you're separated from your husband, big whoop. And believe me, he would not be of any help to you."

 

Cadance:" Why do you have to pester me like an insect,Discord? You have interfered with a lot of the royal duties I have to keep up with while Celestia and the others are away. I mean sure you did no harm, but you really are getting on my nerves."

 

Discord:" Oh am I now?"

 

Cadance:" Yes! You are!"

 

Discord:" That's a shame because I won't be stopping anytime soon. Perhaps you forget who you're dealing with ms Candy mane. I am Discord, my name literally means disharmony and chaos, do you really expect me to not be chaotic? If so then you are sadly mistaken Princess."

 

Cadance:" Ugh, fine. I can see why Noctis hated you so much. You really know how to push somebody's buttons. "

 

Discord:" Why of course I do my dear. It's what I love to do! It's what I live for!"

 

Cadance:" Why can't you just leave me alone again?"

 

Discord:" Because you haven't snapped yet. Everyone snaps at me at least once, but you haven't. You always have this "perfect" disposition and it annoys me. I want to see your anger, Cadance. I want to see what's really in your heart under that "perfect" skin of yours."

 

Cadance:" You know what Discord, now that you told me of your intentions, you'll never get to know the real me. I thought maybe we could be friends but if you just want me to be angry then I can see no benefit in having a friend like you."

 

Discord:" As if I care Cadance. You are a worthless Princess of a worthless kingdom. Your defeat over Queen Chrysalis was a lucky one because she was too stupid to even think to look behind herself to see that you were actually casting a spell with Shining Armor to get rid of her. She foolishly underestimated you."

 

Cadance:" I could defeat you single handedly Discord. And you're one to talk, your ignorance of the true power Twilight and her friends possessed led to your easy defeat. You underestimated them more so than Chrysalis had under estimated me."

 

Discord:" But I didn't break into song for no apparent reason causing my defeat. She simply was singing about her "conquering" of Canterlot and you easily had won that. Chrysalis was definitely a joke, but of course not as much as King Sombra was. I hope you know that any "villain" that you had helped defeat, was nothing more than a joke. Though I must say it is appropriate for a Princess that is nothing more than a joke."

 

>Cadance was growing more and more angry at Discord with every single sound that came out of his wretched mouth

 

>Her facial expression became more intense by the second

 

Discord:" Aww is some little pony getting frustrated? Is she getting mad?" Discord teased

 

>Cadance finally snaps

 

Cadance:" YOU KNOW WHAT? I AM MAD! YOU HAVE SAID NOTHING BUT PETTY INSULTS TO ME FOR HOURS EVER SINCE TWILIGHT AND THE OTHERS LEFT! I'M SICK OF YOU! YOU ARE THE MOST VILE AND ANNOYING CREATURE EVER! JUST GO AWAY! NO ONE WANTS YOU HERE! NO ONE HERE IS YOUR FRIEND! GO BACK TO CAUSING CHAOS WHERE EVER YOU WOULD! I DON'T CARE WHERE YOU GO JUST GO ANYWHERE THAT ISN'T HERE! I HOPE I NEVER SEE YOU AGAIN! I HOPE YOU PERISH!

 

Discord:" Talk about being edgy. Fine, I'll pack my bags and leave, I got what I wanted anyway." Said Discord with a devilish grin on his face

 

>Discord finally snaps away

 

>Cadance is relieved

 

Cadance:" Finally, that nuisance is gone. If he stayed here any longer I would've lost it."

 

>Cadance then goes back to preforming the royal duties she needed to attend to

 

>She was all alone, in the solitude of the lonely throne room

 

>No visitors were allowed in because the Royal Guard were on high alert protecting the only Princess Equestria currently had left

 

>Cadance began to get depressed

 

>She began to think to herself

 

"You know what, things were actually a lot more lively when Discord was here. Sure he is the most annoying person I've ever met but at least he kept things here alive. Things were fun and interesting, even though he did make me angry and distract me from my work. I see now why he grew on Noctis and the others. He's one of those lovable types of jerks. I wish I didn't send him off so hastily, maybe he and I could have kept each other company while I worked. But I sent him away in anger and hate, I doubt he would ever come back."

 

>Cadance completes the list of royal duties she had to do rather quickly since she had no distractions

 

>Her depression was increasing by the minute

 

>Eventually she calls out to Discord in vain

 

Cadance:" Discord, please, wherever you are, I know you can hear me. I miss you. It took me being all alone in solitude to realize that, please come back."

 

>No response

 

>Cadance's depression increases as an hour passes by

 

>Finally, a snap was heard

 

>Discord then appears in front of Cadance

 

Discord:" So looks like somepony really did miss me."

 

Cadance:" Discord! Why are you here?"

 

Discord:" Because I heard you asking me to come back. I waited to show up because I wanted to see if you were serious or not. And I'm glad you are. I don't have many friends, and the ones I have I usually abuse and torment with my chaos, but they grew accustomed to it. You were someone who I haven't had my fun with so I went into overdrive with you. I'm glad that I grew on you though." Discord reaches out with his hand, "Friends?"

 

>Cadance puts her hoof in Discord's hand

 

Cadance:" Friends." She said with a smile

 

>Back to the past

 

Luna:" So I take it my sister's lessons, who mind you studied under Star Swirl herself, didn't suffice your thirst for knowledge?" Said Luna with a joking manner

 

Twilight:" Haha very funny Luna. I of course have loved learning under Celestia, and I know you both know that. But there's always the desire to meet your master's master. See how different your teacher's teacher is from your own teacher. And besides, Star Swirl is legendary! I always wanted to know more about him but I never got to! Even the royal archives don't say much."

 

Noctis:" I don't even know much about Star Swirl myself. All I know is that apparently, he was the greatest wizard of his time. I would like to meet this guy. Luna, Celestia, do you think you can remember enough to get us back to that time period?"

 

Celestia:" I'll certainly try Noctis, but mind you that this was years and years ago."

 

Luna:" And I'm younger than Celestia so it would be twice as hard to remember, but for our mother, I'll do anything. And besides, I want you and Twilight to meet Star Swirl to. From what I can remember, he was a really nice colt."

 

Twilight:" Then what are we waiting for? Let's go back!"

 

>Twilight began to cast the spell as Celestia and Luna dove deep within their memories, searching for the memories of Star Swirl and his lair

 

>The spell worked and they are suddenly 10 years back in the past, a day before Star Swirl disappeared

 

>Twilight knew the date for his second to last journal entry was dated as such

 

Noctis:" Wow, the Castle looks like it's brand new! How far back are we again?"

 

Twilight:" Ten years further back. This is the day before Star Swirl had disappeared or so I assume. This was the date of his second to last journal entry so it has to mean something."

 

Luna:" Wow, the Castle must have just been finished around this time. It's a shame it got destroyed in only a matter of 10 years."

 

Celestia:" It is a true shame..."

 

>Luna and Celestia both space out, having flashbacks of the time they spent at the castle

 

>Tears begin to drip from their eyes as it's painful to remember the good times knowing that they didn't have any more

 

>Even though their mother was still alive somewhere, she still felt dead to them

 

Noctis:" Come on Luna, Celestia, we shouldn't dwell too much on the memories that bring us negative emotions. We need to stay focused on the task at hand if we're to get Sora back."

 

Twilight:" Noctis is right. We need to remember why we're here. Now Celestia, Luna, can either of you remember how Star Swirl's lair looked like? We still need to get there and if you can envision it then all we need to do is teleport and we can finally meet Star Swirl!"

 

>Twilight loses herself in a tad of excitement as she fantasizes about meeting her life long hero

 

Noctis:" Eh Twilight, you okay there?"

 

Twilight lets out a nervous chuckle and says :" Yeah I'm fine, sorry about that."

 

>Celestia, Luna and Noctis share in a laugh together

 

Twilight:" Oh be quiet Celestia, you fantasize about Noctis being your husband instead of your sister's so don't even talk."

 

>Celestia blushes a bright red

 

Celestia:" Point taken Twilight. Anyways I can't really remember how his lair looked like. Sorry."

 

Luna:" That's alright because I do sister. I'm not quite sure how but I do. I can teleport us all there."

 

Noctis:" Then please, let's go."

 

>Luna preforms a teleportation spell and they all appear in front of Star Swirl's lair

 

Twilight:" Oh... my... gosh..."

 

Noctis:" Is something wrong Twilight?"

 

Twilight:" IT'S HIS LAIR!!! I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SEE IT IN MY LIFE BUT HERE I AM STANDING RIGHT BEFORE IT!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! I ALWAYS DREAMED OF THIS MOMENT AND NOW IT'S HERE!!!!"

 

>Twilight begins to spill more spaghetti than the BP Oil spill spilled oil

 

>You know there's no stopping her now so you let her ramble on

 

>Nightmare Moon then pops out

 

Nightmare Moon:" Ah it's hard to believe that this happened oh so many years ago. This was before I became one with the nightmare energy, before I became Nightmare Akuma. Before I became you, Luna. This day has always lived in infamy in my mind. I never got to say anything about this during the trials because Mempharious had silenced me. I remember seeing my father vanish before my eyes in a bright light. He was all I had left, and your mother had taken him from me. I was then left to rule the Dark Realm all by myself. Considering the fact that I was a foal back then, the same age as you were Luna, the Dark realm Empire had fallen apart and I was exiled. I remember when I was offered strength, power, and confidence by the nightmare creatures. All I had to do was become their queen. And eventually I did. Ah I remember it all like it was yesterday. We've certainly been through a lot Luna, haven't we?"

 

Luna:" Indeed we have, Akuma. I am sorry our mother had gotten rid of your father, but we were just as emotionally distressed as you. Now let's be quiet and not interrupt anything important."

 

>Meanwhile, Nightmare Moon and the others continue to have a conversation

 

Nightmare Moon:" That's right... How could I forget? The name my father gave me was Nocturna!"

 

Luna:" I apologize, I've called you the wrong name for years."

 

Nightmare Moon:" Well we're both essentially the same person now, so honestly, any name you call me is fine. Our darknesses are one and the same Luna, I am simply now the extension of your darkness with memories of who I was before all of this."

 

Twilight:" I mean look at all the details! He has magic writing inscribed all over the walls of this place! The architecture is outstanding! I can't believe I've never seen this place before! It's so amazing! Just like Star Swirled is! He's gonna be so outstanding! His magic must be mindblowing!"

 

>Star Swirl the bearded himself appears outside of his house

 

Star Swirl:" Well someone seems to be snooping around my house. Who are you? I've never seen an Alicorn like you before."

 

>Twilight stutters and becomes a nervous wreck one Star Swirl spoke to her

 

Twilight:" I uh... you see...umm... my name is... uhh..."

 

>Luna stops Twilight from embarrassing herself any further

 

Luna:" Her name is Princess Twilight Sparkle, and if thou wondereth of my identity, tis I, Princess Luna."

 

>Star Swirl turns and sees a grown up Princess Luna

 

Star Swirl:" My heavens child, did I not tell you to not use the growth spell?"

 

Luna:" Actually, we all come from the future Star Swirl. We have your book of spells and your journal right here. We used it to come back in time to see you. We need your help bringing my mother back."

 

Star Swirl:" So you come from the future? I never had even intended the spell to work both ways. I feared that if I did, it could fall into the wrong hands and someone could cause catastrophe. So who is this colt here? "

 

>He points towards Noctis

 

Noctis:" Star Swirl, my name is Prince Noctis. I am the husband of Princess Luna and we have been happily married for months now."

 

Star Swirl:" It feels just like yesterday I saw her as a little foal, still needing lessons on how to raise the moon."

 

Luna:" That's because it was yesterday, I think. My memories of this time aren't the best as we come from a time over a thousand years in the future."

 

Star Swirl:" So Alicorns truly are ageless then. Interesting. Either way I can't believe you come from a time so much further ahead than this one. How intriguing. "

 

Star Swirl:" So does your mother need rescuing of any kind? You said you needed to get her back, has something happened to her?"

 

Celestia:" Star Swirl, our mother disappears from our lives 10 years from this exact date. Our castle will be destroyed, I will be taken away, and will be lost for another couple months, separated from my sister. She had recently come to us revealing that she is still alive and we actually went back in time to stop to that moment, when we found out she used a spell that can only be described as your ultimate defense mechanism, we decided to go back further in time."

 

Star Swirl:" Ah Princess Celestia, you're truly the spitting image of your mother. You have her white fur coat and your mane flows very similarly to how her's does. And Princess Luna, you look much like your father. You have his coat and his accent. Either way, I know what spell you speak of. It is a spell I never had written down because of it's power. I only managed to teach it to your mother in case of a dire emergency, and since she used it while you two were still foals, I can assume that the situation was beyond just dire."

 

Twilight:" That explains why I couldn't find it in any of your writing! I dissected your book and journal letter by letter looking for the spell but I couldn't find it at all!"

 

Star Swirl:" It was a much to powerful spell. I couldn't let it fall into the wrong hands should anything go wrong. Who knows what could happen if my things get stolen in your time and someone with villainous intent uses such a spell. The results could be catastrophic."

 

Noctis:" That's a good enough reason if any to justify your actions. Either way, I assume you have a counter spell to somehow reverse the effects of the spell? Or perhaps a summon spell that would be powerful enough to retrieve Sora from the purgatory where she resides."

 

Star Swirl:" I must say, I never have even thought of a counter spell. It was supposed to be an ultimatum, a no turning back now spell. Once you cast it, you're done. You're gone. You've passed the point of No return. I don't even know if there is any spell capable of bringing back someone in particular from purgatory. I don't know if I can even make such a spell. Your mother is lost forever I'm afraid."

 

Luna:" That can't be possible!"

 

Twilight:" Star Swirl, you're the greatest wizard of the era! You have to know some way to do it!"

 

Star Swirl: "Well I don't"

 

Celestia:" Then help us make one! Do you not know how important she is to us?"

 

Star Swirl:" You both may have grown physically, but I see your minds haven't matured much at all. I understand missing your mother, but it's been over a thousand years. You don't need her in your life. "

 

Noctis:" Star Swirl, haven't you ever had anyone in your life that you would do anything to see? Luna and Celestia may not need Sora, but they still love her. To know that she's still alive in some hellish purgatory presumably all by herself, gives them hope that we can at least see her in person again. All Luna got was a tease dream where she got to talk to her mother, but nothing else. Do you not understand love?"

 

Star Swirl:" I can't say love has a big place in my heart. While I love the royal family, I do not have love for anyone else. I was an orphan child myself and had no friends at the orphanage. I was hated by everyone. No one wanted to adopt me so one day I ran away from the orphanage. They had not even known of my disappearance. One day, a wizard had found me on the streets and took me in. I became his apprentice and here I am today.

 

Noctis:" I thought you were a wise man but I see you traded love for knowledge. That is such a ridiculous decision. I thought a powerful warlock like you would know that Love is one of the most powerful magics of them all."

 

Star Swirl:" What do you know of magic? Just because you're an alicorn doesn't give you the privilege of acting like you know everything. I do not know how you are an alicorn, but I see your arrogance. Just because you can cast magic doesn't mean you suddenly know all about it. If you did, you obviously would have not come here seeking my guidance. As for love, I never had the time to fall in love. I was always secluded by my studies ever since my Master had passed. He gave to me this very lair and all the contents within in his will. Since I inherited this place, I would stay locked up for years just delving into all the books on magic there were. I have years of experience, you don't seem to even have one full one."

 

Noctis:" You know, you're right. I only became an alicorn because all the other existing ones had casted a powerful new spell on me. I was a being known as a human. I had committed many grave sins as a human in the human world, but so did all the others that were pulled into the war. My race is now extinct. I saw them perish before my eyes. I decided to abandon the name they gave me and Luna and I had married and I threw away my "humanity"

 

>Star Swirl seems intrigued

 

Star Swirl:" Humans eh? I never thought of the day they would go extinct. Spare me the details however, this whole debacle could spiral out of control in terms of drama."

 

>Then all of a sudden Nightmare Moon appeared

 

Nightmare Moon:" Oh lord Noctis, you are always so dramatic when it comes to this. You can stop bringing it up to everyone you meet. We all understand that it still hurts, but we all cope with our losses, even though yours is more than ours all combined. I've missed my father for over a thousand years, I don't complain."

 

>Star Swirl is shocked to see a living being emerge out of Luna

 

Star Swirl:" Princess Akuma? Of the dark realm? How the heck did this happen? How did you just materialize out of Luna? Magic surely seems to have gotten more advanced since my time would end."

 

Nightmare Moon:" Please, call me Nightmare Moon or Nocturna. And it is a long story that I'd rather not get into detail with because the drama here is making me sick. Either way, this isn't about us, it's about our goal. Star Swirl, you must know some way to make the spell."

 

Noctis:" Now wait just a second there, what the hell did you mean by "I never thought of the day they would go extinct"? How the hell do you know about humans?"

 

Star Swirl:" Isn't it obvious? I am a warlock who lived in seclusion for years. I have had so many years to myself. Do you really think that I wouldn't have found out that there are other worlds than this one? This place is a mere speck of dust in the grand spectrum of things. May I ask what year it was on your Earth when the human race went extinct?"

 

Noctis:" It was the year 2020. The humans and their technology for war had rewritten all the rules. Weapons of mass destruction existed that would simply vaporize all sentient life within a certain radius. Entire cities, wiped from the face of the earth within seconds. "

 

Star Swirl:" Well that year is relatively short considering how Humanity had only existed for about 3000 years in total. Currently, the year there is 1781, and a revolutionary war is coming to a close. I also see that time in general flows much slower than our world here in Equestria."

 

Noctis:" Either way, enough about the race that I used to be a member of. Nightmare Moon is right, I am a bit edgy and dramatic about this stuff. Star Swirl, are there any books you can give us so we can somehow learn how to write such a spell to bring back Sora?"

 

Star Swirl:" You're more than welcome to take my whole library, I have magic copies anyways."

 

Twilight:" Your entire library?! You've got to be kidding! I have to be dreaming!"

 

>Twilight is about to begin spazzing out again until Noctis steps in and stops her

 

Noctis:" Come on Twilight, now is not the time. Star Swirl, thank you so much for doing this for us. You truly have no idea how grateful I am. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that we are eternally thankful Perhaps when you use the spell one day, we can bring you back as well. You know Twilight managed to finish that one spell of yours that you never did. I'm sure with all your books and all our minds together, we will be able to write a spell. Thank you again Star Swirl. If there is anyway we could ever truly repay you, you know what to do."

 

Star Swirl:" I require no form of repayment. My knowledge is always available to the royal family. And you mean to tell me that this purple alicorn managed to finish the spell I never could? Princess, how did you do it? What was I lacking?"

 

Twilight:" You were lacking friendship, Star Swirl. Because you didn't let many people into your heart and instead thought knowledge was the only friend you needed, you couldn't figure out the spell."

 

Star Swirl:" Please finish it for me Princess."

 

Twilight:" If I were to finish it for you now, then I would never become a princess causing a whole time paradox. The only reason why I am a princess is because I managed to complete my final task which was figuring out how to complete the spell you never could."

 

Star Swirl:" I see... I guess I must live my life as a failure then."

 

Twilight:" You? A failure? You have to be joking!"

 

Star Swirl:" I am nothing compared to what my master was. I may be the best of the era, but the amount of magic my master had come up with is astonishing compared to what I have made."

 

Twilight:" But you created the most common spells known in modern magic!"

 

Star Swirl:" You all use my spells that often even over a thousand years into the future? Did I truly leave such an impact?"

 

Twilight:" You did Star Swirl! And your self loathing hasn't helped you one bit. It's been clouding your mind and distracting you from what's important. You know, I was just like you Star Swirl. Sure I wasn't an orphan or anything that tragic, but I too had no interest in friendship or love of any kind. But then Princess Celestia told me I needed to make friends, and as much as I tried avoiding to do so, I ended up making some important life long friends. I know that whenever we meet our end, we would have ended as best friends. Star Swirl, I may not be able to fix your spell for you, but maybe you can figure something out. Good luck."

 

Star Swirl:" I'll take your words into account, Twilight Sparkle. Thank you

 

Twilight:" No need to thank me Star Swirl, thank yourself for making the magic that made this all possible. You really are more important than you think you are."

 

Celestia:" It was nice seeing you again after all these years Star Swirl, I know we won't see you again, but never forget that Luna and I loved you like a father. Since our father vanished, we put you in that seat. You may not be related by blood, but you'll always be family to us Star Swirl."

 

Luna:" Indeed, my sister speaks the truth. You were an amazing Colt to have as a father. I often wished that you really were my father and we could be one happy family, but even for a foal, it was a foolish dream. Farewell to you Star Swirl. "

 

>Star Swirl has tears forming in his eyes

 

Star Swirl:" And I always looked to you as the children I never had. You two always made me smile. The times I spent teaching you both my knowledge of magic were some of the best moments of my long life. I had never known the emotion euphoria like the one you made me feel. You two were so cute, and I see not much as changed as you both grew up to be majestic and beautiful Alicorns. I know Sora would be proud of you both, because I am. I wish to you both nothing but good fortune in the future. I guess I do know love, because I love you Luna and Celestia."

 

>Luna and Celestia began forming tears as well

 

>Noctis and Twilight had left the lair to let the three have the moment that they so obviously wanted and needed

 

>The three of them hugged together as they wept in their mutual grief, giving closure to the fact that they also had never seen Star Swirl in years as he disappeared before their mother did

 

Luna:" I'll miss you Star Swirl. I wish you could come to the future with us but we both know that isn't an option. I will forever treasure these last few moments we shared together."

 

Star Swirl:" I will always treasure these moments as well Luna."

 

Luna:" It's sad that we must bid you a farewell now, we must be going."

 

Star Swirl:" Farewell to you both, Princess Luna and Princess Celestia. I'll miss you."

 

Celestia:" And we'll miss you to Star Swirl."

 

>Luna and Celestia then regretfully depart from Star Swirl's lair

 

>Luna's disposition was a sad one, as she was obviously heart broken to know that Star Swirl will be gone by the next day

 

>Noctis goes to approach his wife

 

Noctis:" Come on Luna, we'll be able to get him back to if we can figure this whole thing out. There's no need to cry, you and I both know you'll see him sooner than you think."

 

Luna:" Yes, but it is still hard to depart from such a close family member. He was like the father that I always wanted. I was too young to get to know our father, and even Celestia barely remembers anything. Star Swirl was a part of our lives for so long and it just is so hard for me to depart from him like this. I just wish we could take him back with us."

 

Noctis:" We would if we could Luna, but doing so could screw up the future, and who knows, if he did, what it could exactly cause. We might never meet because of it Luna. We'll get him back sooner than you know. Until then, you at least have me and Celestia and Twilight, right?"

 

Luna:" Right."

 

>The 4 of them converse about the whole Star Swirl and Sora debacle, but then agree it's time to go home

 

Noctis:" Let's go home everyone, knowing Discord, Cadance must probably be losing her mind right about now. He does love to break people after all."

 

Luna:" Good point, let's go."

 

Twilight:" I'll cast the spell!"

 

>Twilight casts the spell and with all their magic combined, they take the contents of Star Swirl's long lost library with them

 

>Meanwhile at Star Swirl's lair

 

>Star Swirl is drawing an image of Noctis, and how he might look like as a human

 

Star Swirl:" I'll have to be sure to remember this man. He seems to make Luna so happy, and that's all I want for her. He probably could be a great warrior for Equestria even though he is to be a prince."

 

Star Swirl:" He did say he was in the year 2020, and the world is going to end though. So I'll have to make sure I bring him into Equestria before he would meet an end with his entire race."

 

>Star Swirl sets a timer with a magic spell to go off when the Earth year 2020 comes by

 

>The timer was set with a reminder with the image of Noctis that he had drawn

 

>Over a thousand years of Equestrian Time pass

 

>Star Swirl is in the purgatory with his lair, as a magical reminder had went off

 

Star Swirl:" A reminder? What could this possibly have been set for?"

 

>Star Swirl goes to inspect it

 

Star Swirl:" My word, it's finally time to rescue Noctis."

 

>Star Swirl uses up all of his strength to create an inter-dimensional portal, being able to only hold it for a few minutes as the purgatory warrants no escape

 

>Star Swirl steps through the portal and sees nothing but chaos

 

>He sees an explosion in the distance with a smoke mushroom cloud forming from the ashes

 

>Cities demolished within a flash

 

>People vaporized without second thought

 

>Giant machines with human pilots had roamed around the ruins of cities, stomping out any life forces left

 

>Star Swirl scans the area for Noctis, when he finds him running, and fast

 

>Star Swirl noticed the weapon pointed straight for the town that Noctis resided in

 

>He was then stopped by soldiers and as they were about to shoot, the weapon had been launched

 

>Star Swirl decided that now was the time to take action so he teleported Noctis onto the far away cliff where he was observing the calamity

 

>He then pulled Noctis through the portal into his lair, where he then proceeded to send him into Equestria

 

Star Swirl:" Equestria... home... I may never see it again, but at least Noctis will fulfill his destiny with Luna. My god how times have changed over a thousand + years. Good luck to you Noctis."

 

>He then sends Noctis through the portal to Equestria

 

>Noctis ends up in front of both Luna and Celstia, unconscious

 

>Back to the future with Luna, Noctis, Celestia, and Twilight

 

>Discord and Cadance were having a snowball fight inside the throne room, with snow that Discord had snapped up

 

Noctis:" Oh so you two seem to be getting along quite nicely."

 

Cadance:" We're good friends now Noctis. I can see why you hated him at first, because in the beginning I couldn't stand him, but when I had sent him away, a part of me realized that I missed him more than I hated him. He gives everything a certain little charm and something about him just makes you love him."

 

Noctis:" Yeah I remember when I despised Discord. God I was so uber-serious with him."

 

>Nightmare Moon pops out again, to make a witty statement

 

Nightmare Moon:" Uber-serious is a major understatement when it comes to what you said to Discord. That was just plain old edgy. Your edge was sharper than a diamond, or an expertly crafted sword. "

 

Discord:" You know I think he had to be the most serious person I ever met. Good thing you loosened up Noctis, you really were a bit of a hard ass."

 

Noctis:" Nightmare Moon, do you always have to have some kind of counter statement to mine when I mention how serious I used to be?"

 

Nightmare Moon:" Why yes, I do. I find it quite amusing."

 

Noctis:" Typical. Never change Nocturna, never change."

 

Cadance:" Sorry to interrupt, but how did everything go?"

 

Luna:" Everything was... emotional to say the least. We know what spell my mother cast that day and we even met with Star Swirl himself, didn't we Twilight?"

 

Twilight:" We did! And he was everything I always thought he was and more! But for some reason, he had a bad case of self-loathing and a sort of inferiority complex to his old master. He was a nice guy though. I hope that wherever he is now, that he knows that he really is one of the greatest warlocks of all history. Oh! And we also got the contents of his long lost library of magic books! Knowledge that has been lost to us for years is finally available again!"

 

Discord:" Star Swirl must have had a really extensive collection, but I see not one single book with you. Where are they?"

 

Twilight:" I shrunk them all down to fit in my bags. Here, I'll take them all out and make them grow back to their true size."

 

Noctis:" Just a word of advice Discord, you might want to stand back. There's a whole lot more than meets the eye."

 

Discord:" I can't imagine one pony had such a big library. Even though he is Star Swirl, I doubt he could have more than a maximum of 20 books."

 

Luna:" 20 books? Oh that is grand Discord! You really have to get into the comedy business, you could make a lot of money through there."

 

>Twilight then takes the books out of her bag and then casts the spell to increase their size

 

>There are stacks of books that are at least 10 books high each

 

>Each one of those books had Star Swirl's own edited information

 

>The books all had detailed knowledge about a very specific topic

 

>Discord's face literally drops down to the floor in shock

 

Discord:" I see you have made your point Twilight. Well, I'll be off on my way now. I'll be having a little fun in some forest or something. Call me if you need me. Oh and, don't need me please."

 

>Discord Snaps away and takes his snow with him

 

Cadance:" Wow! You all got to meet the real live Star Swirl The Bearded? I'm sure he must have been so wise and so powerful!"

 

Luna:" Well, Celestia and I always knew Star Swirl, but he wasn't really someone who was assertive over his wisdom. He never acted like he was better than anyone. In fact, he felt inferior to what his master had accomplished, but then Twilight explained to him that we still use his magic today, which obviously lifted his spirits."

 

Twilight:" He was actually a really nice person. Sure he seemed a bit intimidating at first and I couldn't even form a sentence when I saw him, but on the inside, he was a lonely colt who never had any real friends other than books."

 

Cadance:" Wow, he sounds amazing!"

 

Celestia:" He was, and he is. Now Cadance, you can go back home to the Crystal Empire if you want. You must miss Shining Armor a lot."

 

Cadance:" I really do miss him. It's been a while since I've seen him. I'm glad I could help you guys out. If you ever want to see me again, just call me and I'm sure I'll be able to figure something out! It's been nice seeing you!"

 

Luna:" Goodbye Cadance, I'm sure Shining Armor will be happy to see you back."

 

Cadance:" I know he is, because I'll be happy to see him again. Good bye!"

 

>Cadance then departs the Canterlot Castle and takes the next train to the Crystal Empire

 

Celestia:" Twilight, how long do you think it will take you to read all these books and get every single last bit of information out of them?"

 

Twilight:" Oh gosh, I don't even know! There's just so much information! This is an unparalleled amount of knowledge that I have to soak in! I love it! But I don't think I can do it all by myself. Do you think you can help me and read all of this? "

 

Celestia:" Why I'd love to read with you Twilight! I always wanted to take a peak in old Star Swirl's books as a foal, so I guess late is better than never."

 

Twilight:" This is going to be so great! Not only am I going to be reading all of Star Swirl's books, but I'm going to do it with my teacher who was also his former student!"

Luna:" Right. Noctis and I will go raise the moon and stars. If you may please lower the sun Sister, that will of course make our job easier."

 

Celestia:" Of course."

Noctis:" Hey Luna, I have an idea for how we arrange the stars tonight."

 

Luna:" Oh? What did you have in mind?"

 

Noctis:" We should form constellations of Sora and Star Swirl! We know they're still somewhere watching down on us, maybe they'll see the tributes we made to them."

 

Luna:" Perfect!"

 

>Noctis and Luna change the formation of the stars in honor of Sora and Star Swirl The Bearded

 

>Everybody looks on in awe in how majestically the stars twinkled that night

 

>Each star shimmered with the radiance of the sun that night, lighting up the night sky along with the enchanting and mystifying glow of the moon

 

Celestia:" You two out did yourselves this time. Your night might as well just be more beautiful than my day! Not that I'm complaining, I just wish I could stay up all night and enjoy it with you. I have to go to sleep though. It's going to be your responsibility to take on my responsibilities of the day by the way. Someone has to fill in while I'm at Twilight's, dissecting Star Swirl's books piece by piece."

 

Noctis:" That's going to be no problem for us Celestia, if we can handle the night, we're sure we can handle the day. Besides when I was on earth, I would go days on end without sleeping. This is nothing new to me."

 

Luna:" You can have faith in us Sister. Now go and sleep. It's going to be a long day for you. Pleasant dreams to you sister, and who knows, maybe you'll dream about being Noctis' wife again." Luna says with a smirk

 

Celestia:" Oh come on, are you always going to bring that up?"

 

Luna:" Pretty much; yes."

 

>Celestia then smiles

 

Celestia:" I'm so glad that you're so much more light hearted and free spirited now Luna. You used to be so heavy hearted and you didn't know what fun really was. Over the years since your return, you've certainly changed for the better. I love you Sister. Good night."

 

Luna:" Believe me, I'm happy I changed to. Good night."

 

>Twilight then says good night to everyone as she went to the guest room of the castle to sleep there

 

>She had also taken the liberty of taking the books along with her

 

Noctis:" Ah it's finally just me and you Luna. It feels like it hasn't been this way in ages."

 

Luna:" I know exactly how you feel. I'm just happy we can finally have some alone time."

 

Noctis:" I am to."

 

>The two of them share in a sweet kiss, basking in their euphoria as they are finally alone

 

Noctis:" Your lips are as kissable as ever, my sweet princess."

 

Luna:" And yours are very kissable as well my sweet prince."

 

Noctis:" We really don't get to do this as often as we used to. I miss the days that it was always just you and I going to the gardens and just relaxing in our own moonlight. Believe me, I treasure every single moment we spend together."

 

Luna:" And I treasure each and every single second you're near me. I love you more than anyone else in existence Noctis. Please never forget that. "

 

Noctis:" I never will Luna. I love you just the same. I don't know what I would do without you in my life. Why without you, I probably would have just been living a boring and plain life. I would be basking in loneliness and sorrow. Who knows, I might not even be alive right now if it weren't for you."

 

Luna:" Well if it weren't for you Noctis, I would be just as lonely. Nightmare Moon would have definitely consumed my heart again and no one would be able to stop her. You've done just as much for me as I have for you. It's all equal, after all, isn't that how it's supposed to be in a marriage?"

 

Noctis:" Haha, you've got a good point darling."

>At about the middle of the night, a knocking on the throne room's door is heard

 

>Noctis and Luna get out of bed with one final kiss and then open the door

 

>Just beyond the door was a knight, injured and slightly bleeding, who had many scars all around his body

 

>Luna then recognizes the knight as none other than Quinn Loneheart, her own personal knight

 

Luna:" Quinn! What happened to you?!"

 

Noctis:" Anything for you, dear."

 

>Noctis then casts a healing spell on to Quinn, getting rid of his injuries and wounds

 

>Quinn remains unconscious but he is in a stable condition

 

>Noctis prepares him a bed to rest in

 

Luna:" I do hope he wakes up soon."

 

Noctis:" So who exactly is this guy? What is this quest that he spoke of? How come I never heard about it?"

 

Luna:" This is Quinn Loneheart, my own personal knight. I sent him long ago, before you even came here to Equestria, on a quest to infiltrate the renmants of the dark realm's army, as I had grown in suspicions that they were planning on attacking us. I sent Quinn to take care of the uprising and make sure that they would not be able to harm Equestria. You never heard about it because it was so long ago, I had honestly forgotten that he existed. Please don't tell him that though."

 

Noctis:" My lips are locked and the key has been thrown away. Thanks for telling me, I was just confused. I'm pretty sure he'll be confused when he wakes up. I wasn't exactly around the last time he was here. How do you think he'll react?"

 

Luna:" I'm not quite sure honestly. He could either reject you as his prince, accept you, or react in utter confusion but then accept you. I'm hoping it's the second or the third. I will have to get rid of his knight status if he doesn't accept that I love you and that if he serves me, he serves you."

 

Noctis:" Well I hope things go okay with him. I don't really know much of his personality since he fainted only after one sentence. He was pretty banged up though. I can see that he is very persistent and does not go down without a fight. I like that. He's a lot like me in that sense."

 

Luna:" Well I can tell you he takes his knighthood very seriously. He has followed the code to the letter. Never has he made a single infraction, which is why I put all my trust in him to take care of the quest. We'll have to ask him more about it when he wakes up."

 

Noctis:" So I take it he was a good man then. Honorable, respectable, responsible, etc."

 

Luna:" Yes, he was the bravest of all the knights, which is why I appointed him my as my own personal one. He was the closest thing I had to a friend for a long time. In the past, even though Twilight had helped me connect with people that one Nightmare Night, I still didn't feel like she wanted me as a friend. I always intruded on a couple of situations, yes, but I never felt welcomed. Especially during the wedding of Cadance and Shining Armor. I missed the entire thing and sure, I danced at the after party, but I was more by myself than with the crowd. Quinn was the closest thing I had to a friend. The thing is he just can be a bit too serious. He needs to learn to lighten and loosen up. I've seen him before he became a knight and he was such a free spirit, but even then he was a very respectable person as his father was a knight and raised him well. As time went on, he became more generic. He became a copy and paste, cookie cutter, average soldier. Of course his heart made him stand out which is why I made him my own personal knight. He always had courage. He was always brave. I just wish he would be more free spirited again."

 

Noctis:" Well I can see if I can do anything about that, but I don't know."

 

Luna:" Well I certainly thank you for wanting to try to change him, but I don't want to force him to change. I want him to live his life the way he wants to. Learn what it really means to have free will."

 

>Luna and Noctis converse for about 2 hours

 

>Quinn then finally begins to regain consciousness

 

Quinn:" Princess..."

 

Luna:" Don't speak Quinn, save your strength. You're still weak. Although Noctis had healed you, your body itself is still recovering. You must rest for now, please."

 

Quinn:" I'll be fine... listen... I completed the quest to the fullest extent Princess. The dark realm and it's army is no more. You have nothing to fear..."

 

Luna:" Quinn, you have no idea the degree of my gratitude. You helped stop what could have been a big and gruesome battle between our armies. You single handedly defeated the commanders and most of their troops! That is quite the accomplishment I must say."

 

Quinn:" Heh, it was nothing. Anything is possible as long as you try hard enough. But, thank you Princess."

 

Luna:" Please Quinn, I call you by your first name, the least you could do is call me by mine. Please call me Luna."

 

Quinn:" But that would be disrespecting you as you are a princess and one of the most important people in existence."

 

Luna:" Please, just call me Luna from now on. That is an order. I don't like to force you to do things, but being called Princess and not at least Princess Luna just does not sit well with me."

 

Quinn:" I understand Luna. Now may I ask who Noctis is and who is this gentlecolt beside you?"

 

Luna:" Meet Prince Noctis, my husband."

 

Noctis:" Charmed"

 

Quinn:" Likewise sir. I must say congratulations to you both for being a married couple. I am very happy for you Luna."

 

Luna:" Thank you Quinn, it means a lot to me that you easily accepted Noctis as who he is. We were actually thinking you might dislike him for whatever reason."

 

Quinn:" I believe any husband of a princess, especially a husband to you, would be a respectable and all around good person to begin with to even qualify to marry you."

 

Luna:" I'm glad you think so."

 

Alright guys, this is where I stop for the night. I gave some extra content that I originally wasn't going to.

 

Quinn:" So your name is Noctis eh? May I ask if you are from around here? I have never seen an alicorn like you ever before."

 

Noctis:" You see, I'm no ordinary Alicorn. It's a long story Quinn. I respect your curiosity but must you know?"

 

Quinn:" Well I would like to know more about the prince that I serve. After all, if I serve Luna, I serve you."

 

Noctis:" Fair enough. You see, I come from another world where technology is much more advanced than it is here. My people were a people who relied heavily on machines for their daily lives. People here rely on magic. They do everything themselves. I ended up here one day after my world had been destroyed. Not to get edgy or anything, but it was a very devastating time for me. Anyways eventually, Luna and I had taken the time to get to know each other, and our love blossomed so quickly, it's hard to believe. After our wedding, the princesses had used a powerful spell to not only turn me into a pony, but turn me into an Alicorn as well. And now here we are."

 

Quinn:" Well that certainly is an interesting tale. Again, congratulations to you for marrying such a fair Princess. You are definitely a lucky one."

 

Noctis:" Well thank you Quinn, I appreciate it. I'm very happy to be with her myself, and I will never give her up for anything. I'd sacrifice myself first before I would let anything happen to her. I'd give up my life for her. I'd do anything for her and I have already gone to great lengths proving that."

 

Quinn:" I see you are truly convicted to her. You are a great prince, my liege."

 

Noctis:" Please, don't call me that. If Luna wants you to call her by her name, then do so with me to. I'm not really used to this formal talk."

 

Quinn:" I apologize, Noctis. I'm used to calling people by their formal titles. It is what I have been taught as long as I have been raised. Forgive me."

 

Noctis:" No need to apologize, Quinn. I understand why you say it, all I ask is that you try getting more informal with me."

 

Quinn:" I'll do my best. Anyways, may I go to my house and rest there? I'd prefer to see my good old home first."

 

Luna:" That's perfectly fine Quinn. If you want, we can walk you home, as you still aren't in the best shape."

 

Quinn:" I'll be fine Princess Luna. Don't worry about me."

 

>Quinn then gets out of the bed Noctis prepared for him

 

>He groans in pain as he begins to walk

 

Noctis:" Quinn, I'm afraid I can't just let you walk home by yourself. I'll take you home, just tell me where to go, and I'll take you there. Luna, we'll be back. I'll be missing you."

 

Luna:" Can't I come with you? It's not like I'm not capable of walking with you."

 

Noctis:" I'd prefer it if you just watched over us, make sure nothing comes our way, and make sure no assailants still roam around the area. The last thing I want happening is an ambush."

 

Luna:" Alright, I'll be watching you my love. Stay safe."

 

Noctis:" I will."

 

Quinn:" You seriously don't have to do this for me Noctis."

 

Noctis:" I don't have to, but I'm doing it anyways."

 

Quinn:" I see you're a bit stubborn. You and I are more alike than we may both think."

 

Noctis:" I believe this is the start of a good friendship Quinn."

 

Quinn:" Perhaps it is. Now let us go to my home, shant we?"

 

Noctis:" We shall. Now tell me where you live."

 

>Quinn tells Noctis where his home is in Canterlot as Noctis carries him

 

>Luna watches over them from the windows

 

Noctis:" So Quinn, tell me more about your quest. How difficult was it?"

 

Quinn:" Well I was an insurgent in the dark realm army's remnants. I had to rise through the ranks in order to gain more power over them. Gaining their trust was hard, but when I finally got it, I knew when the perfect moment to strike was. It was very difficult to defeat their commanders.The grunts weren't as hard though."

 

Noctis:" Reminds me of my days as a major in the army. When I was in my world, I was part of the bloody and devastating war that had led to the end of the world. I constantly had to defeat tons of grunts and force my way to the commander. I killed them all without hesitation because it was survival of the fittest in that hell hole. I was an insurgent many times and I remember the amazing feeling of secretly plotting to take an army down from the inside out. Nothing felt more satisfying."

 

Quinn:" You seem to have had a great military career Noctis. I honestly could not tell that you were a veteran. Your disposition is so lax and calm, like a true prince. The fact that you are such an esteemed war veteran makes you only twice as respectable."

 

Noctis:" You should have seen me when I first came here. I was nothing but an awkward but serious hard ass. If you brought up my past once, I would flip on you like a table. Over time though, the love Luna gave me had helped me with my past and had helped me become more lax. I eventually disowned all my humanity; my name wasn't even always Noctis. It was Anonymous. I discarded that name when I threw away my humanity. I dubbed myself Noctis as in my world, it was an ancient word for Night. I believe that suits a Prince of the Night very well. The only benefit from my military career is that it gave me a never-give-up attitude. It made me become a persistent person, never going down without a fight. Otherwise, my military career brought me nothing but misery as many people I knew in the service had perished for a cause that only led to the ultimate destruction of the world."

 

Quinn:" I am sorry for all your losses Noctis. At least your career is over now. You will always be an honorable man to me."

 

Noctis:" I am no one to honor just because of my military career. All I was was a pawn in a much bigger plan. All I was was a man who killed others because he was told to do so. Thank you for honoring me Quinn."

 

Quinn:" It is nothing but a pleasure of mine to honor someone who is so modest. You survived the horrors of war which I can only imagine is at least ten times worse in your world than it is here considering your descriptions of your war. You are respectable because of the fact that you have put the past behind you. You would undoubtedly be an inspiration to soldiers everywhere. I am happy to be serving such an esteemed individual."

 

Noctis:" Well I'm happy that I have such an excellent knight that serves me. I now see what Luna saw in you. Thank you for serving her so valiantly. I look forward to seeing you again. Do stop by the castle tomorrow, I'd like to talk to you more. I consider you not only an excellent knight, but an excellent friend as well."

 

Quinn:" Well I am glad to be an excellent friend to you Noctis. You are truly an amazing friend yourself. I will see you tomorrow. The house on the left is mine. Thank you for the escort."

 

Noctis:" My pleasure Quinn. See you around."

 

Quinn:" See you tomorrow."

 

>Quinn then opens the door to the house he hasn't seen in almost an entire year

 

>Everything is exactly as he remembers it

 

>Noctis then departs towards the Castle as Quinn is home at last

 

>Noctis flies up to the window of the castle and Luna happily lets him in

 

Luna:" I see that you and him had a bit of bonding there. I'm really happy you two get along so well.:"

 

Noctis:" I'm happy to. He's a really nice guy and he's a good friend to. He just needs to loosen up a little, it is a bit uncomfortable talking to someone who is so formal. He needs to learn that just because he's a knight, doesn't mean he has to always act so uptight. I honestly can't tell if he even has a sense of humor. In any case though, he is a wonderful person, and he's going to swing by here tomorrow."

 

Luna:" It'll be nice to see him when he isn't in pain. Anyways, it's almost time for the day. Celestia left us in charge for the entire day so we're going to have to sleep now.

 

Noctis:" I could use a good nap. I don't want to be too tired in the morning."

 

Luna:" I made that mistake the last time Celestia left me in charge for the entire day. It was more of a challenge for me, because I had severely underestimated the duties of the day. Or at least that's how I felt because Kibitz was intent of essentially making me have a bad time. It was so satisfying when I threw away his watch and stuffed his parchment into his face. "

 

Noctis:" Kibitz sounds like a jerk."

 

Luna:" Everything turned out alright in the end, but I do admit, he was a bit of a jerk for doing what he did."

 

Noctis:" Let's hope everything goes better this time. Let's go to our room Luna. I miss our bed."

 

Luna:" I miss it to. And I miss cuddling with you. It's unfortunate that that it'll have to be kept to a minimum tonight because we need our sleep. At least we can do more in our dreams right?"

 

Noctis:" Of course we can. That's the beauty of us both being able to enter dreams right? Though that dream will be short to. I guess it'll still be a few days until everything is back to normal and we can get back to fully embracing each other."

 

Luna:" Well the wait will definitely be worth it. The longer we wait, the more passionate the moment we fully embrace each other will be. At least we have time tonight."

 

Noctis:" Then let's stop wasting time and get to the bed."

Noctis:" Oh Luna, I wish we could always be together like this. Just you and me, no other cares in the world to bother us. It is just so relaxing to spend time with you like this. Being a Prince was a lot harder than I first thought, but I'm not complaining. As long as I get to be your Prince, and be with you, and see your beautiful face, my life is complete. Luna, as time goes on, I feel like we have less and less time to ourselves. I miss just spending time with you in these gardens or even in the ponyville park. I don't mind spending time with our friends and I love being with Celestia and Twilight, but I just miss how it used to just be the two of us. But again, I'm not complaining. So long as you still love me, I will never have a single thing to complain about. I love and treasure every single second I spend with you. I hope nothing well ever drive us apart again like Chrysalis did."

 

Luna:" Noctis, we'll be together forever. We will stand the test of time along with Celestia and Twilight. Our love is eternal. Chrysalis may have driven a split between us for a while, but in the end we still came through. Nothing will ever break the deep bond between us Noctis. I miss the old times to, but I can only look to the bright future we have together. We will definitely still have many times to ourselves, and we will have the rest of forever to have those times filled with love and compassion. Even if we are on different worlds, our hearts are always together. Nothing will ever truly separate us. We have the rest of eternity to spend together. We have a very bright future ahead of us, and nothing will change that. The future will be filled with many great times together, rest assured. I love you Noctis, forever. Should we perish one day, our love will still unite us in the afterlife."

Luna:" Oh Noctis, you always say such wonderful things. I'm glad to see that you truly haven't changed one bit. By the way, I have a gift for you, well three gifts actually."

 

Noctis:" Three gifts for me Luna? What's the occasion?!"

 

Luna:" A prince can't go around without his crown now can he? I had our professional craftsman create a crown that matches mine. I also had him make you a chest plate that is much like mine, but the insignia on it is instead, your cutie mark. The insignia represents the light within the darkness that you truly are. I thought my Prince could use some more regality. I also had Rarity create a hoodie, much like mine, for you."

 

>Luna then grabs the gifts, and hands them to Noctis

 

>Noctis then proceeds to put on his chest plate and crown

 

Noctis:" These are wonderful gifts Luna, thank you so much. You really didn't have to do this."

 

Luna:" But of course I did, my Prince only deserves the best."

 

>Luna gives Noctis a short and sweet kiss

 

Luna:" Now let's go meet up with Celestia and put away our night sky for her daytime sky. Once we do that, I'll have to deal with Kibitz again for he is the keeper of Celestia's schedule. Ugh, how he stresses me. Just the thought of him brings a bit of anger to my heart. I am not one to hold a grudge, but he made an absolute fool out of me the last time I dealt with him. It really brought my image as a regal princess down a notch. Sure by now it has recovered, but regardless, he made me look like some kind of idiot."

 

Noctis:"I'll make sure that doesn't happen again Luna, now that I'm here, I doubt he will try anything again. If he does, I'll make sure he pays. No one gets away with making my wife look like a fool."

 

Luna:" Thank you Noctis, I'm sure he's learned his lesson though. By the way, you look lovely in your Royal accessories. Like a true prince."

 

Noctis:" I do have to say, they suit me rather well. Now let's go lower the moon and let Celestia raise her sun. We have a long day ahead of us. Let's make the most of it."

 

Luna:" I know we will make the most of it, as long as we're together."

 

>Luna and Noctis slowly walk over to Celestia’s room to wake her up so she can raise the sun

 

>She is in a deep sleep and is obviously dreaming

 

>Luna gets the fun idea to spy on her dream again

 

>Celestia, is predictably dreaming of Noctis again

 

Noctis:” I wish we could find someone for her. I love her Luna, but as a sister. Not as a lover. You are the one I love like that Luna.”

 

Luna:” You know, in a way, I’m sure she is just as lonely as I was before I met you. She probably longs for a significant other, and since you’re so wonderful, it’s easy to see why my sister fantasizes about you. Ah it’s a rough life. I hope she can find someone soon.”

 

Noctis:” Believe me, me to. I want the best for my sister. Let’s wake her up now, and we should leave the rest of her dreams to her own privacy.”

 

Luna:” Alright.”

 

>The two of them softly wake Celestia up from her short slumber

 

Celestia:” Ah, it’s time for the day isn’t it? It’s a shame, I was enjoying my dreams to. Oh well, here comes the sun.”

 

Luna:” I’m sorry we woke you Sister.”

 

Celestia:” I do still have duties to fulfill, whether or not I’m spending the entire day with Twilight. Besides, I do enjoy raising the sun."

 

Noctis:" I'm glad you do Celestia. It's always good to take pride in your work. Now shall we?"

 

Celestia:" We shall."

 

>The three of them go outside to lower the moon and raise the sun

 

>Celestia then gives all power to Noctis and Luna for the duration of the day and night

 

>She then exits and heads towards the room where Twilight was staying so their research can continue

 

>Celestia walks opens the door to Twilight's room, only to find that she did not sleep at all, and has been looking through Star Swirl's books all night

 

Celestia:" Twilight, I know you love to read books and all, but how were you able to stay up for so long? This is hazardous to your health, you know. It amazes me how passionate you are when it comes to reading and learning."

 

>A half asleep Twilight seems to ignore Celestia and just continue reading

 

Celestia:" Twilight, are you okay?"

 

>Celestia gets no response

 

>She then walks up to Twilight and puts down her book

 

Twilight:" Princess Celestia! When did you get here?"

 

Celestia:" I've been here for a couple of minutes, a better question is, how long have you been up for?"

 

Twilight:" You know, I just wanted to read a little bit of one book before I went to bed, but it's like the pages were enchanted, because once I started I couldn't stop! I was completely sucked in to the book and I lost all track of time."

 

Celestia:" You look really tired Twilight, you need some sleep."

 

Twilight:" I can't just go to sleep! We have to start reading and learning! Is there anything I can just eat to give me some kind of day long energy boost?"

 

Celestia:" Well, there is one thing, but it isn't too pleasant to drink."

 

Twilight:" I drank a magic potion from Zecora that tasted horrible and strangely turned white once I used my magic on it. It tasted horrible, but the effects were worth it. I'll drink anything I can for an energy boost."

 

Celestia:" Alright, don't say I didn't warn you."

 

>Celestia creates a potion and then hands it to Twilight

 

>Twilight drinks said potion and almost vomits while consuming it

 

>Her face makes various expressions of displeasure

 

Twilight:" Oh gosh, that was the most vile thing I have ever tasted in my entire life. But at least I feel invigorated and energized, so that's a plus."

 

>Celestia laughs at how Twilight had drank a fake potion

 

Twilight:" What's so funny Celestia?"

 

Celestia:" Oh, oh its nothing, don't worry, its nothing. Let's just get to it and start reading" Says Celestia as she tries to contain her laughter

 

Twilight:" You gave me a fake potion didn't you?"

 

Celestia:" What gave it away?"

 

Twilight:" Hmmm, I don't know, maybe your uncontrollable laughter?"

 

Celestia:" I'm sorry Twilight, I just had to. It was the perfect opportunity. Besides, everyone needs a good laugh to start off their day."

Kibitz:" Princess Luna, I believe you already know that there is a large schedule that you must attend to along with your husband, Prince Noctis. Now if you would actually follow the schedule to the point this time, I believe things can go a lot more swimmingly than they did the last time around."

 

Luna:" Kibitz, you and I both know the schedule is nothing but a guideline that you try to force upon me so you don't have to fear me doing things differently than my sister. Its time that you realize that I am different from my sister in many ways, and our methods vary."

 

Kibitz:" There is still a schedule to follow Princess, and I'd prefer it if you would just follow it."

 

Noctis:" Listen Kibitz, I know I wasn't around for the last time, but from what Celestia and Luna told me, she did a fine job of handling the day, especially when she snapped and decided to do things her own way. Now I suggest before she snaps on you again and throws away another one of your watches, that you just let her follow the schedule and execute the tasks her own way."

 

Kibitz:" Hmph, fine take the schedule and do as you please, but if something goes wrong, I will not allow myself to be held accountable."

 

Noctis:" Fair enough. Now Kibitz, what is there to do?"

 

Kibitz:" Well the Princess has to attend court to be the judge, again."

 

Luna:" I enjoyed that, and I believe I did quite a good job of being a fair judge."

 

Kibitz:" You suggested that we would cut sheep in half to find out who the real owner is."

 

Luna:" That was merely hypothetical! I would not authorize such cruelties!"

Applejack:" Luna, these two agreed to never sell their crummy cider here in Equestria again, and just a few days ago, I found them selling not only cider, but all other kinds of apple products! The farm has been a part of Ponyville for so long! We will lose the farm where my family has grown for generations if they keep unlawfully stealing our business!"

 

Flim:" You said nothing about apple products, only Cider, and our cider is complementary and completely free. It is available to anyone for no charge at all."

 

AJ:" You still agreed to take all your business out of Ponyville

 

Luna:" Knowing from past experiences with the Flim Flam Brothers, I know they are quite the mischievous pair. They ended up in court 3 times the last time I was the judge. Though since there is no written agreement between the two of you, phrohibiting the brothers from selling apple products in Ponyville, then I am afraid I must let them stay."

 

AJ:" Please Princess, reconsider! My family and I will be left homeless without the farm! The farm is our passion and no one else can make apple products like us! Apple Pie, Apple fritters, Apple Cider, you name it, we got it and we do it great to."

 

Luna:" Hmm, then I propose a contest, who ever can make the best Apple meal will be granted the right of being the only one who can sell Apple products in Ponyville."

 

Flam:" Come on Princess! There's no need for something like that!"

 

Luna:" You dare question my judgement? I could easily have you and your brother banished from Equestria you know."

 

Flim:" Point taken Princess."

 

>The contest is on and Flim and Flam attempt to sabotage the Apple Family by taking their good apples and replacing them with bad apples

 

Luna:" Did I just see what I think I saw? Unacceptable! Flim, I demand that you put those apples back! There shall be no cheating in this competition especially in this court room. I will give you one more chance, should you try something again, I shall see to it that you are "

 

>Shocked that Luna noticed him, Flim immediately puts the apples back and goes back to the machine making an apple meal

Luna:" Now if you may give me your meals to taste, I will say who the better is."

Luna:" This is absolutely horrendous! It tastes like steel and the contents seem like they are made from apples that went bad a millennium ago! I can't imagine the other one being as bad."

 

>Luna then proceeds to taste the Apple family's meal

 

>She proceeds to devour it whole as a sign of her pleasure in partaking in the pie

 

Luna:" My word! That was the most delicious apple pie I have had in my entire life! It tasted fresh and I tasted nothing but the love of the people who had made it with their own hooves. Too sum it up, it was scrumptious!"

 

Flim:" So what's your ruling Princess? I know you'll be fair and let us sell our cider and other products, after all, that is the lawful thing to do."

 

Luna:" Are you saying you know the law better than I? I am insulted! I knew you and your brother were a bunch of mischief makers, but I had no idea you could be so disrespectful especially to a princess! I hereby rule that the Flim Flam Brothers are not only to not sell any apple products in ALL of Equestria, but they are also to hand over every single last one of their bits they made as a profit from selling these horrendous products to the Apple Family, where they rightfully belong."

 

Flam:" But Princess! Come on, you know we can make better stuff than this, and we can make it faster and for more people! We are faster, and we make more!"

 

Luna:" Ever hear of Quality of Quantity? That applies here. You may make more faster, but the quality is horrendous and is downright awful. You are no longer allowed to sell ANY produce related item whatsoever."

 

Flim:" Come on! That isn't fair!"

 

Luna:" Alright, then you no longer are able to do ANY kind of business in Ponyville or Canterlot! Dare test me again?"

 

Flim and Flam:" *sigh* No Princess Luna."

PM(Prime minister of Saddle Arabia):" So, Prince Noctis, the next Equestria games should be held in Saddle Arabia! We have the perfect new stadium to host it in!"

 

Noctis:" Well, you're going to need more reason than that to convince me. "

 

PM:" What other reasons do we need? We are a strong part of Equestria and always have been! We never got to host it in the entire history of the games!"

 

Noctis:" Well there seems to be good reason for that, as according to these documents, you also have an absurd crime rate and it is a very dry and hot place. The ponies that are in the Equestria games should always be in a place where the weather is just right, so they don't freeze and/or don't get burned and dehydrated. It is likely that many of our sports would be considered unplayable in Saddle Arabia. I will be willing to let you compete in the Equestria games in more events than ever before, but we can not host it there. I apologize."

 

PM:" So we will play a larger role in the Equestria Games then? Hmm, that sounds appropriate enough. I understand that Saddle Arabia is a very hot and dry place, as opposed to say here in Canterlot or Ponyville or even the Crystal Empire. But I am glad to inform you that crime rates are currently down by 90%. We are a much more peaceful place than we were years ago. I urge you to just let us add one event to the line up, a classic Saddle Arabian pastime."

 

Noctis:" Very well then. It seems we have a deal then. Its been a pleasure."

Luna:" What the heck did you two do this time?! Do you ever not find yourselves in trouble? Isn't there any limit to how many times you can go into court a month or something? Do you two have no shame? Do you ever win any cases? Why even bother? This just boggles my mind. I had no idea that you really were this much trouble."

 

Flim:" Hey, a pony's gotta make a living somehow. Whatever it takes to make a quick buck."

 

Luna:" Alright you and your brother are immediately guilty, and are ordered to give back any items you may have taken and stop any practices that interfere with others. You are also prohibited from being in court until next month. You are also on probation and will have your machines taken away from you. I do not want to see you in this court again. Nor do I want to hear that you were in this court. Do I make myself clear?"

 

Flam:" Yes Princess."

Luna:" Huzzah! Finally I may rejoice. Judge duty can be so tiresome."

 

Kibitz:" If you'll excuse me Princess, I have to go check up on how the Prince is doing. After all, his duties are important as well."

 

Luna:" Go ahead, just allow me some time to myself. I need some time for relaxing."

 

>Kibitz then goes to check up on Noctis

 

Kibitz:" I see everything is in order. Prince Noctis, you have to now go check up on the preparations for the next big festival."

Quinn:" Well since this is my first day back from my quest, I had to do some readjusting. I truly missed Canterlot. Such a wonderful place. I had thought of here, home, every single day of my mission. And it was the will to come back home that kept me motivated to carry out my task.I also did not want to fail Prince Artemis."

 

Artemis:" Please Quinn, just call me Artemis, you don't have to call me Prince every single time. It makes me a bit uncomfortable when you say that. I mean we are all friends here. Even though you are my knight you seriously have to loosen up a little."

 

Nocta:" I agree, Quinn, you have to let yourself go a little bit, loosen those self restraints, and just be who you really are. I understand that this is how you were raised but as your friend, you need to learn to be more approachable and well, friendly in general. Be more down to earth, you know?"

 

Quinn:" I suppose I'll try. I never really had friends before, I simply thought of Artemis as my master, and I his loyal knight and servant. Friendship was never really important to me. I just had a job to do, and I always thought of Artemis as the best master a Knight could have. I will always serve under you both, remember that. Either way, I will try to loosen up a bit. Anyways Nocta, I've been thinking a lot about your old life."

Artemis:" It is nice to be alone with you Noctis- Nocta. I still haven't grown accustomed to this deep voice, it feels strange using it. My throat feels different when I speak and my brain is still having trouble recognizing it as my own voice."

 

Nocta:" I miss my deep voice, the vibrations from my throat are nowhere near as strong. And it just feels weird having the body of a mare. Mares are much more curvy than colts, and I honestly never would have thought that this was even possible."

 

Artemis:" Discord has a lot of magic that even I don't know of. He is very crafty when he wants to be. It irks me to an extent. Normally he's just playful but ugh, this is just crossing the line."

 

Nocta:" I guess I shouldn't have instigated this. It's kinda my fault because I asked him to at least do something original, and original he definitely did."

 

Artemis:" Oh well, not much we can do now."

 

Nocta:" You know, even though you're a colt now, I still love you Luna. You'll always be Luna to me, and nothing is going to change that."

Nocta:" I can't say it has, we kinda shut them out of our minds because they are busy looking over Star Swirl's collection of books."

 

Nightmare Moon:" Then interrupt them! You can wait to bring Sora back can't you? This is a more immediate issue and it is happening in the present! As in this issue is an issue occurring right now! You really mean to tell me that they are so absorbed in the books that they will be of no use to us?"

 

Artemis:" You see, they wouldn't even be of help because everyone here has had their memories altered to think that we have always been this way, and it's rather uncomfortable."

 

Nocta:" You have no idea how awkward it feels to be in this body. Its so much more curvy and slim and light weight. And my voice, ugh."

>Their eyes seem glued to the books that contain the valuable knowledge that they have been seeking

 

>It is almost as if they are under a spell

 

Nocta:" Twilight? Celestia? Come on! I know you can hear me! Why do you keep ignoring me!"

 

>Nightmare Moon whispers to Artemis

 

"You can see he's becoming more like a female as time goes on. While it is entertaining, this isn't exactly good."

 

Artemis:" It worries me a little, but I have to admit, its hilarious"

 

>Again no response is given from Twilight nor Celestia

 

>Its as if their consciousness has been literally sucked into the books

 

Nightmare Moon:" *sigh* I guess I am the only one that knows that Star Swirl's books literally were enchanted so that they were impossible to put down."

 

Nocta:" So what do we do now? I am so confused! Ugh, I feel like both crying and punching someone!"

 

>Artemis bursts out laughing at how Noctis is now experiencing how females feel

 

Nocta:" Why are you laughing at me?!"

 

Nightmare Moon:" Ignore the laughter and pay attention. The answer to this little problem we have here is quite simple. We simply walk up to them, take their books, and close them. Here, just in case it is too complicated, I will demonstrate for you."

 

>Nightmare Moon then proceeds to take the books and snap them out of their trance

 

Twilight:" What happened? I was just reading one moment with Celestia and now I'm surrounded by Artemis, Nocta and even Nightmare Moon!"

 

Nocta:" Twilight, you and Celestia could not stop reading and we had to ask you a question. Also, apparently, Star Swirl's library was enchanted with a spell that made sure that the books would be extremely hard to put down and stop reading."

 

Artemis:" Well I'm not surprised at all by this outcome, Twilight. You always get caught up in your studies, but this is a whole different meaning. I mean I expect this kind of behavior from you, but from Celestia? No."

 

Celestia:" Well, I guess I kinda just got sucked in to an interesting book. I never really get the time to read at my leisure, so this was really the next best thing."

 

Twilight:" Anyways, what did you want to ask me Nocta?"

 

Nocta:" Alright, well this is a long story, but Artemis and I's real names are Luna and Noctis, and Discord decided to screw with us and change our genders around and change the memories of all those in Equestria to make it seem as if we were always like this, when in fact we were not. My question is, is there any way you can change Luna and I back to our correct gender?"

 

>Twilight and Celestia look at each other and then give Nocta and Artemis an awkward look

 

>There is nothing but silence

 

Twilight:" Uh... you know, you probably could have been, I don't know, less blunt with that? I mean you could have even asked that question as a theoretical one and avoided this awkward moment."

 

>Nightmare Moon gives Artemis and Nocta the I-told-you-so look

 

Nightmare Moon:" I knew you should have asked the question theoretically, I mean it isn't exactly an approachable or common question to ask."

 

Artemis:" Whatever. We know what we're doing, we don't need your help you know."

 

Nightmare Moon:" If I hadn't stepped in, you two would probably be bickering about something pointless or having a pointless conversation of any kind. There would have been no progression if it weren't for me. It's as if I'm some kind of plot device in a story that is commonly used to push the story forward. It feels repetitive to an extent, to be honest. You two need to get your things together. Enough pointless conversation though. Twilight, Celestia, is it possible to undo the effects of Discord's magic?"

 

Twilight:" I can try, but I'd have to know exactly what spell Discord had cast on them."

 

Celestia:" I may be able to find out. Discord can be predictable."

 

Artemis:" The sooner the better. I really want things to be normal again."

 

Twilight:" Let's go to the library, I'm sure we can find something on the spell there if we look hard enough."

 

Nocta:" Sounds like a great idea Twilight!"

 

Artemis:" Ugh, could you have said anything more generic than that?"

 

Nocta:" Well I wanted to say something, I just didn't really think about what I wanted to say."

 

Artemis:" Speaking before thinking, like a true mare." Artemis chuckles to himself a little over his joke

 

Nocta:" Whatever, let's just go."

 

>The group heads towards the library and spend a few hours looking through every book they can, but to no avail

 

Twilight:" Well, this is bad. Looks like you're gonna be stuck like this until Discord feels like changing you two back. In the mean time, have these books, they should help you out."

 

>Twilight gives Nocta a book called "How to act more Feminine: A reference guide" and Artemis a book called "How to be more masculine: A reference guide"

 

Nocta:" You can't be serious."

 

Artemis:" Out of all the things you could give to me to help me in this situation, you give me this Twilight?! What the heck?!"

 

Twilight:" Well, if what you said is true, then I guess you're gonna need to learn more about your bodies and how to act more like your gender. That's pretty much all the help I can give to you because Discord's spell has been torn out of all the books. A classic move by him, I'm not surprised that he did that. Either way, this might help resolve some awkward moments I'm sure you two must be having."

 

Nightmare Moon:" Thank you for at least trying Twilight and Celestia, I really do appreciate your help. These two really need to learn how to live in their new bodies, because knowing Discord, he's not going to stop until he can squeeze every single last drop of amusement out of this. It's like we're some kind of play to him. Perhaps we are nothing more than his puppets. Perhaps he is like a writer and we are in a story where we do as the writer says. That's how Discord is. As long as he wants it to happen, it happens."

 

Celestia:" It is unfortunate but that is just who Discord is. A person of mischief. Good luck to you both. We probably won't remember this happened if you succeed in convincing him to change you back."

 

Nocta:" Thank you sister, that means so much to me."

 

>Nocta then gives Celestia a big hug and a sisterly kiss on the cheek

 

>Celestia blushes but she doesn't really know why, it was as if she had a crush on her own sister

 

>Nocta and Artemis say good bye and leave the library

 

Nightmare Moon:" Celestia, Twilight, just be sure to cast a protection spell on yourselves before reading Star Swirl's stuff, it'll be a lot easier for you both and you won't be completely sucked in to the books."

 

Celestia:" I'll be sure to remember that Nocturna, thank you."

 

Nightmare Moon:" But of course, anything for my sister, I suppose."

 

>Nocturna exits the room and catches up with Nocta and Artemis who are discussing the debacle

 

Artemis:" I'm beginning to think that because Discord is probably enjoying this so much, that we will more likely than not never get our bodies back. "

 

>*Snap*

 

Discord:" Oh pish posh, you aren't as fun as I would hope you to be, but I'm going to keep you like this just in case something funny happens."

 

Nightmare Moon:" Discord, why must you torture them like this? Haven't you had enough fun for one day?"

 

Discord:" My dear Nightmare Moon, the fun never ends!"

 

Nightmare Moon:" But you just said they aren't as fun as they used to be!"

 

Discord:" Ah but I still am amused by them nonetheless. So long as I am minimally entertained, I will keep them like this."

 

Nightmare Moon:" I can see why the others find you so frustrating. Do what you will Discord. You may leave now."

 

Discord:" I do not leave when I am told to. I leave when I want to."

 

Artemis:" Too bad because no one even cares."

 

Nocta:" I could care less if you're here right now or not Discord, it doesn't bother me."

 

Discord:" Ugh, you all are no fun."

 

>Discord snaps away but also changes some things up a bit by teleporting Cadance there to

 

Cadance:" That never stops making me sick."

 

Nocta:" Oh yay! Cadance is here!"

 

Cadance:" Nocta! It's great to see you!"

 

>The two mares give each other a big hug upon seeing each other

 

Nightmare Moon:" So Cadance is here to. Wonderful. Discord really knows how to stop progression. Its as if we are a train, and we are on a track to reach our goal, but then Discord becomes an obstacle that just derails our train and makes us veer off all the way as if the track never even existed."

 

Artemis:" So is that it? Is he gone now? Can we finally just get back on track?"

 

>*Snap*

 

>Shining Armor had then been teleported as well by Discord

 

Nightmare Moon:" Apparently not. He still lingers around like a parasite. "

 

Shining Armor:" Whoa, where am I?"

 

Nocta:" Shining Armor! It's great to see you again! I haven't seen you in like forever!"

 

Shining Armor:" Oh hey Nocta, its been pretty long eh? How you been?"

 

Nocta:" Oh I've been fine, you know just doing the usual things. Artemis and I have been having quite the busy day. Kibitz seriously overworks us."

 

Shining Armor:" I'm sorry to hear that Nocta, come on, give your old friend a hug. I promise, it'll make you feel better!"

 

Nocta:" Gladly!"

 

>Nocta hugs Shining Armor

 

>They hug for about a minute straight

 

Artemis:" *AHEM* Sorry to interrupt the reunion of course, but we do have a task at hand."

 

Cadance:" Yeah, we have things to do, and Shining Armor, we need to get back to the Crystal Empire before we're needed again."

 

Nocta:" Oh come on Artemis, loosen up a little!"

 

Shining Armor:" Oh come on Cadance, we can stay here for a while longer, besides, maybe we can help Nocta and Artemis with whatever they need help with."

 

Artemis:" We have all the help we need, thank you very much. I appreciate the offer though, Shining Armor."

 

Nightmare Moon:" Ah you people are still as unproductive as ever. You all need to learn how to just get to the point and do what you need to do instead of talking about it for an eternity."

 

Nocta:" Its not like we have anything urgent to do, Artemis. We figured out that Discord won't stop being a jackass until he stops getting amused by us."

 

>*Snap*

 

Discord:" Thaaaaats Riiiigght!"

 

>*Snap*

 

Artemis:" I hate it when he does that

 

Cadance:" Eh, it grows on you. He's been doing it to me ever since we became friends of sorts."

 

Nightmare Moon:" You poor soul."

 

>A conversation then sparks up all about Discord and his antics

 

Artemis:" It bugs me when Discord always manages to find just the right way to mess something up. Like say decorations. It's like asking a genie for a wish, you get what you want, but its all twisted around because they find loopholes in your wish. "

 

Cadance:" It bugs me when he gets way too personal. I mean he snoops around enough already. I think he knows to much."

 

>They conversation goes on and on until Nightmare Moon decides to go back into Artemis and rest

 

Nightmare Moon:" Well seeing as we have no task to do or any goal to accomplish, at least for now, I think I'm going to go rest now. Nice seeing you all again. It was... fun."

 

>She turns into blue mist and recedes back into Artemis/Luna

 

Nocta:" Well its about to be night time, so I suggest you both head back to the Crystal Empire now. It's quite the ride back they say."

 

Artemis:" You know, they say that sometimes, the ride never ends and you just keep going and going until you're completely insane."

 

Nocta:" Oh come on Artemis, no need to make up stuff like that."

 

Artemis:" I'm just having a little fun is all."

 

Cadance:" You've got a point, we've got an Empire to watch over. It was really nice talking to you and catching up!"

 

Artemis:" Likewise"

 

Nocta:" Oh yes it really was nice! I hope to see you both again soon!"

 

Artemis:" Travel safely and be careful!"

 

Shining Armor:" Don't worry, we'll be just fine."

 

>Shining Armor and Cadance then leave the Castle to go to the Crystal Empire

 

>Artemis and Nocta head towards the library so they can get Celestia to lower the sun

 

>Artemis walks in the door and notices Celestia has fallen asleep and Twilight seems to be in a trance again, her face glued to the pages

 

Artemis:" You know Twilight, I thought you knew better than to forget to cast the protection spell."

 

>She snaps out of it

 

Twilight:" Oh, I wasn't in a trance that time, its just what usually happens when I read."

 

>Artemis rolls his eyes

 

Artemis:" Ah Twilight, never change."

 

Twilight:" So what's wrong? Is there something you need help with?"

 

Artemis:" Well actually, I needed Celestia to lower the sun to make way for the moon, because it's almost night time."

 

Twilight:" Well as you can see, she dozed off a while ago."

 

Artemis:" Yep, it's sad that I'll have to wake her up from her dream."

 

>Then Artemis gets an idea

 

Artemis:" I might as well check in on her dream, just for fun of course. Enjoy your reading Twilight."

 

Twilight:" I always do Artemis."

 

>Artemis checks in on Celestia's dream and to no surprise, she's dreaming about Nocta again

 

>However, her dream is about being with a male version of Nocta, Noctis

 

>Artemis thinks to himself

 

" Ah, glad to see this hasn't changed about her."

 

>Enter Dream

 

>Artemis views the events of the dream in an area where he can't be seen, but he can still see everything that goes on

 

Celestia:" Oh Noctis, I'm so happy to be with you. You have no idea how wonderful my life is with you."

 

Noctis:" And I'm happy to be with you to Celestia. I guess you really do brighten up my day."

 

Celestia:" I always knew we were meant to be together. I have no doubt in my heart that you and I will be together forever."

 

Noctis:" I don't have a doubt either, my beautiful Princess."

 

>Celestia and Noctis then share a big kiss and then lay down in their bed to snuggle

 

>The two exchange a lot of romantic words and make many gestures showing their love

 

>Artemis then exits the dream and wakes Celestia up

 

>To no surprise, Twilight is already sucked back into her books

 

Artemis:" Celestia, wake up, I know you're having a pleasant dream but Nocta and I need your help."

 

>Celestia begins to wake up but then falls right back asleep

 

Artemis:" Ugh, how am I going to wake her up?"

 

>Then an idea dawned upon Artemis

 

Artemis:" CELESTIA WAKE UP! NOCTIS IS IN TROUBLE!"

 

>That immediately wakes Celestia up

 

Celestia:" WHATS HAPPENED TO MY NOCTIS?!"

 

>Artemis starts bursting with laughter as he is amused by how obvious her crush is

 

>Celestia then blushes as she realizes what she has just done

 

Artemis:" Oh I always get a kick out of that, its always funny to see how you react."

 

Celestia:"... I know, I know. I have a huge crush on Nocta and I know you both know but I can't help it. I just wish she was a colt, that would be so much more amazing, but some things are never meant to be."

 

>Nocta then comes in to the room

 

Nocta:" Well I still love you Celestia, you have a very special place in my heart. But of course, my wonderful Artemis is the one who I will always be with."

 

Celestia:" I love you to Nocta."

 

Nocta:" Come here, let me give you a hug, I think you deserve one."

 

Celestia:" Oh thank you Nocta, I just want to say I'm sorry that I have a crush on you, I know it isn't right, especially since you're Artemis' wife, and I just want to be forgiven."

 

>The two hug each other lovingly

 

Nocta:" Oh Celestia, there's nothing to forgive you for. You can't help it. You can't change your heart's desires and I don't mind it at all that your heart desires me. I still love you either way Celestia, remember that."

 

>Nocta then gives Celestia another hug and gives her a sweet kiss on the cheek

 

>Celestia blushes a very bright shade of red

 

>She then smiles, and returns the kiss on the cheek

 

Celestia:" So anyways, Artemis, what do you need me to do?"

 

Artemis:" Well it's about to be night time so you know, we kind of need you to lower the sun to make room for the moon."

 

Celestia:" Oh right! I'm sorry, come let's go."

 

>The three of them leave Twilight in the library to read her books

 

>Celestia lowers the sun and Nocta and Artemis then raise the moon

 

>Celestia then approaches Nocta

 

Celestia:" Hey Nocta, would you like to go to the spa with me? I know that you have had a stressful day, so I thought maybe this would help you out. Artemis, you wouldn't mind if it was just me and her right?"

 

Nocta:" I'd love to go to the spa with you! Sound's amazing! I've never been to the spa before!" Nocta then turns to face Artemis, " Ohhh please Artemis, let me go! I really want to see the spa! And I'd love to spend some time with my Sister in law, so please, just please, let me go with her."

 

Artemis:" Oh alright, you can go. I can just talk with Nightmare Moon or read some books with Twilight while you're gone. Don't worry, I'll be fine." Artemis then gives a reassuring smile to Nocta

 

Nocta:" Oh thank you thank you! You made me so happy Artemis!"

 

>Nocta jumps onto Artemis and gives him a long and sweet kiss

 

Nocta:" I'll see you when we get back from the spa my love!"

 

Celestia:" A million thanks for this brother, we'll be back before you know it!"

 

Artemis:" Enjoy your time at the spa!"

 

>Nocta and Celestia then leave the castle and head towards the spa

 

>They have a conversation as they travel

 

Celestia:" I'm so happy you decided to come with me Nocta, it really means a lot to me. I always wanted to spend more time with you, regardless of my crush on you and all. You're my sister, and I love you that way the most, even though a part of me wants to be with you."

 

Nocta:" Well I always wanted to spend more time with you. I always spent all my time with Artemis, especially when I first came here. You and I never really talked much back then. So I guess we can make up for lost time now!"

 

>They reach the spa and enter

 

>They are greeted by the two ponies that own the spa, Aloe and Lotus

 

Aloe:" Welcome to the spa! Its always nice to see you Celestia!"

 

Lotus:" And its nice to see you Princess Nocta! This is the first time we've seen your face around here, and we are graced by your presence."

 

Celestia:" It's very nice to see you both again. How have you been?"

 

Aloe:" We've been well, we always get good business and just working here is nice. Now how may we service you and Princess Nocta?"

 

Celestia:" Oh, just give us the usual, nothing too special."

 

Nocta:" Celestia, what is the usual anyways?"

 

Lotus:" Oh I know you'll love it Nocta! It's a mudbath followed by some time in the hot tub and finished up with a hoof-icure!"

 

Nocta:" That sounds wonderful! I can't wait! This is going to be the best spa visit ever!"

 

Celestia:" It's great to see you so excited and full of energy! But relax a little! We're here to enjoy ourselves."

 

Nocta:" Haha, I'm sorry, I've never been to the spa before so I'm just so excited!"

 

Aloe:" Well I'm sure it'll die down once we get started. We'll be sure to give you the most relaxing experience of your life!"

 

Nocta:" That sounds delightful!"

 

Lotus:" Alright, so if you would kindly follow me, we'll take you to the mud bath."

 

Celestia:" Lead the way Lotus."

 

>Nocta and Celestia follow Lotus Blossom as they head towards the mud bath room

 

>Nocta soaks in the calming and soothing atmosphere of the spa. admiring the peaceful decorations on the wall, relaxed by the sweet smell of the aphrodisiacs, and soothed by the calming and smooth music

 

Aloe:" Here we are, the mud bath. Please indulge yourselves in any manner you wish, so long as you enjoy yourself."

 

>Celestia and Nocta get in the mud bath and relax

 

Celestia:" Ahhh, this is always relaxing, what do you think Nocta?"

 

Nocta:" This is just so soothing, I have never been so calm in my entire life."

 

Celestia:" Glad to hear it Nocta, you deserve this."

 

Nocta:" I can't thank you enough Celestia."

 

>The Spa pony sisters apply the mudmasks to their faces and apply the cucumbers to their eyes

 

>Celestia and Nocta unwind while letting the mud rejuvenate their bodies

 

>They spend about an hour in the mud bath

 

>The Spa pony sisters then get them out of the mud and take them to the hot tub

 

Nocta:" That was simply amazing! Aloe, Lotus, you really run an amazing spa here. "

 

Aloe:" Well thank you! We really appreciate your compliment!"

 

Lotus:" If you enjoyed that, then you'll love the hot tub!"

 

>Nocta jumps with glee once the hot tub was mentioned

 

>A smile of true euphoria grew upon her face that seemed to be as wide as a mile

 

Nocta:" A hot tub! Yay! Please take me there now! I can't wait!"

 

>The Spa Ponies and Celestia laugh in amusement as they see how unrelenting her excitement is

 

Celestia:" Haha, oh Nocta, I see the mud bath hasn't done much to ease the pure energy inside your body."

 

>Nocta then realizes how silly she looks being so excited and blushes a bright shade of red, much like Celestia would when her crush for Nocta is mentioned

 

>Lotus and Aloe giggle in joy to see how satisfied their newest client is

 

Lotus:" Alright, I think we've all laughed for long enough, let's go to the hot tub!"

 

Aloe:" Agreed, come on Nocta, follow me." She said with a smile

 

>Aloe always knew that service with a smile went a long way, but she has never had a client as excited, ecstatic, and energetic as Nocta

 

>Nocta gave Aloe and Lotus the most fun that they've had in years, merely through her sincere reactions

 

>The four ponies then walk through the spa to get to the hot tub

 

>Nocta is very pleased to see that a steamy, bubbly, and soothing bath awaits her

 

Celestia:" Shall we go in Nocta?"

 

Nocta:" You don't need to ask me twice!"

 

>Nocta then dives right in to the water, instantly soothed by the heat of the water and the rhythm of the bubbles

 

Celestia:" Well that's one way to get in." She says with a smile then laughs.

 

>The water is truly soothing to bathe in, as Celestia expresses immediate pleasure and satisfaction upon stepping in, whilst Nocta playfully swims around in it before placing herself beside her sister

 

>Meanwhile at the Castle, Artemis has gotten rather lonely again. He begins to think to himself and ponder on who to spend his time with

"Well, Celestia and Noctis are at the spa, so that rules them out. Twilight is more likely than not immersed in her books, and it would be best to just not disturb her. Hmm, let's see. I don't even know where Quinn is, but I trust he is busy with some personal matters. I haven't been this lonely since before I met Noctis. Oh, how time has passed. It feels just like yesterday, he managed to find himself in Equestria from the human world. I remember how awkward it was for the both of us, but I saw something in him, and I knew if I were to stick by him, that only good could come from it. And good did come from it. We got married, and we had the time of our lives together. Oh I miss him more than I realize. I wish I went to the spa with them."

 

>Nightmare Moon then comes out to console Artemis

 

Nightmare Moon:" Luna, I haven't seen you so depressed in months. Why it's hard to remember a time when you weren't blissfully happy with Noctis. Afterall, he loves you more than you could know."

 

Artemis:" He loves us, Nightmare moon, he loves us. Don't forget that you're really just my inner darkness, which means you're still me. You've always been like a sister to me, one with quite the love hate relationship. I mean you always supported me, even though sometimes you did it just to gain power over me and fulfill your own evil agenda, but you're always here for me when I need someone."

 

Nightmare Moon:" Well what kind of a mare would I be if I didn't care about my other half? I know I manipulated you in the past, but since Noctis came around, I had nothing but the best intentions in my dark heart."

 

Artemis:" Thank you so much for all that you've done. I know you've always had the ability to just take over by force, but I appreciate that you don't."

 

Nightmare Moon:" Well I wouldn't dare infringe upon a romance so sweet."

 

Artemis:" You know, you really have changed. I always thought that change for you was impossible. I always thought that you would stop at nothing to get what you wanted. That you would not let anything, especially love, get in the way of bringing about nighttime eternal. I always thought that you would be evil forever. I'm really glad you aren't though. I'm glad you and I could be so close together and I don't have to fear that you will just forcefully take over me."

 

>Nightmare Moon was startled as her eyes had widened and gave nothing but a blank stare

 

>Nightmare Moon began to re evaluate her entire existence

"How can I be the darkness if I'm not evil? What am I becoming? I don't understand it. Each and every day that passes, I lose my evil ways. If I'm not the evil, what is?"

 

>Artemis tries to snap Nightmare Moon out of it, but her expression remains blank and lifeless

 

>Nightmare Moon continues to ponder and analyze her life, searching for a reason to exist

"What is my reason for existing? Why do I continue to live on? I no longer serve any useful purpose. In fact I have degraded myself to becoming the equivalent of a plot device in a story, just being pushed in to move the plot. That's all I feel like I ever do, make progress with the others. Even though I make progress, I never do any actions myself, sure I may talk, but what have I done that was important? When was the last time I took action for something? Why my existence is a mere pitiful one. As much as I enjoy being a part of Luna and as much as I love living her life, I feel that I am no longer of any proper use to anyone at all."

 

>Artemis paces around for a few minutes, worried, in fear that something may be wrong with his other half

 

>He continues to think about all the memories he had with Nightmare Moon, both good and bad

 

>As Artemis trots around the room, he notices Nightmare Moon's expression change from blank, to one of despair and depression

 

>Worried, he immediately rushes to Nightmare Moon and asks what's wrong

 

>Nightmare Moon refused to reply and merely pushed him to the side as she hung her head low, in self-pity of her wasteful and un-purposeful existence

 

Artemis:" Nightmare Moon, please tell me, what's wrong? You always listened to me when I needed someone, the least I could do is return the favor you know. Please, tell me what's wrong and don't leave."

 

>Nightmare Moon stops dead in her tracks, and slowly turns to face Artemis

 

>Tears were dripping down from her face, her disposition being one of total melancholy, the look in her eyes showed that at her core, she was broken

 

Artemis:" Nightmare Moon... please... tell me what's wrong. You know I care about you, please, just stay."

 

>Nightmare Moon hesitates to answer at first, but eventually gives a response

 

Nightmare Moon:" Luna... can't you see? Isn't it obvious what's wrong? What you said mere moments ago, made me realize something."

 

Artemis:" What did I say and what did it make you realize? I don't understand Nocturna. I simply don't."

After much pondering, I realized, my existence is pitiful and holds no purpose. Luna... if I'm no longer the evil, how can I still be the darkness? Darkness has always been a symbol for evil. How can I be me without being evil?"

 

Artemis:" Nocturna, you forget that just because one is dark, doesn't mean one has to be evil. You are the darkness within my heart, without a doubt. But it doesn't mean that just because you are the manifestation of said darkness that you have to be evil. Darkness is misunderstood, Nocturna."

 

Nightmare Moon: "... Luna... I don't know what to say..."

 

Artemis: "You need to stop acting like what you are matters. You are me Nightmare Moon, you are an extension of my personality. Yes you had a past as Princess Nocturna, yes you and I were once foes, but we are one and the same. Sometimes we seem to forget that. We are truly 2 halves of the same being. One can not truly exist without the other. Nightmare Moon, although your original goal was to bring about Night time eternal, that doesn't mean it has to be the only purpose in your existence. We can try to achieve new things, together."

 

Nightmare Moon: "You know Luna, you have a point. I think too much of myself anyways... I guess... but I am done talking. I wish not to speak with anyone for the rest of the night, and just rest."

 

Artemis: "Fair enough Nightmare Moon. Thank you again, for always looking out for me. You are not only my other half, but you are one of my best friends as well. Rest well Nocturna."

Nocta: "Agreed, let's go get the hooficure now! I never had one done before, and I can't wait to see how much nicer they'll look when they're done!"

 

Aloe: "Nocta, we can assure you that you will absolutely love the hooficure! We will make sure your first one is the best one!"

 

Nocta: "That's really kind of you! Thank you so much!"

 

Lotus: "It's our pleasure Nocta!"

 

Aloe:" Now let's go and get those hooficures done!"

 

Celestia:" Lead the way as always, Aloe."

 

>The 4 of them walk through the spa again, to get to the hooficure room where they find Fluttershy getting one done herself

 

Nocta: "Fluttershy? Since when do you go to the spa? I thought you would be too shy to get something like this done in public."

 

Fluttershy: "Oh, I've just been going here ever since Rarity convinced me to come once. It was a really nice experience, and it relaxes me a lot, especially after a long day with all the animals. It really isn't easy work."

 

Nocta: "I'm very sure of that Fluttershy. I have to say it is really nice seeing you here! I almost never get to see you! In fact I haven't seen you since you gave me your wonderful Christmas gift!"

 

Celestia: "Please stay for a while longer and talk to us Fluttershy, I also never get to see you."

 

>Fluttershy starts to blush and her shy nature gets the better of her

 

Fluttershy: "Oh, I should really get going now, I'm sorry. The animals must be missing me and Angel is probably hungry."

 

Nocta: "Oh come on Fluttershy, stay for a while! Please, will you stay? I'm sure the animals are all fine without you!"

 

Celestia: "Fluttershy I'd really like to spend more time with you; I miss the days when you, Twilight, and the rest of your friends would come to visit me. Twilight is the only one who comes around here anymore, which is why I love her so much as a friend of course."

 

>Fluttershy lets out a sigh, knowing that she can't make up a good enough excuse to not spend some time with Nocta and Celestia

 

Fluttershy: "You know Princess Celestia, I guess I could spend some time here after all. I'm sure the animals don't miss me too much. I'm sure Angel can handle any kind of situation. He's one tough bunny, at least I think he is."

 

>Celestia smiles in joy as Fluttershy has agreed to stay at the spa for a little longer

 

Nocta: "Yay! Fluttershy is going to stay!"

 

>Nocta starts prancing around in glee, completely forgetting that she's in the spa

 

>Nocta continues to prance and trot around in her bliss, unaware of how silly she looks

 

>Celestia and the Spa pony sisters begin to quietly giggle

 

>After a while, Fluttershy gains the courage to interrupt Nocta's joyful prancing

 

>She taps Nocta on the back

 

Fluttershy: "Ummm... uh... excuse me... Princess Nocta? Could you please stop prancing around... maybe? I'm sorry for interrupting you... it's just that you're disturbing some people... and Celestia and I want to get the hooficures done..."

 

>Nocta suddenly returned to reality, and once she realized what she had done, she had blushed a scarlet red color as she was embarrassed by her actions

 

Nocta: "Oh... uh... hehe.... sorry about that everyone." Said Nocta with a sheepish grin on her face

 

Aloe: "Oh it's quite alright Nocta! You know, I have to say, that out of all the ponies that have ever come to the spa, I have never seen anyone as energetic and excited as you."

 

 

Lotus: "And that certainly isn't a bad thing! You make our jobs so much more fun and enjoyable especially since we know that you're enjoying this so much!" She says with a smile

 

Nocta: "Do I really make this more enjoyable for you both?"

 

>The Spa Pony sisters nod in agreement

 

Nocta: "I see. Well it looks like I'll just have to come here more often!"

 

Aloe: "You'll always be welcome here Princess Nocta! Feel free to come at any time you please!"

 

Nocta: "I'll be sure to come around whenever I need to. Thank you so much for this!"

 

Lotus: "But of course! It's our pleasure Nocta! Now how about we finally stop stalling and give the three of you the hooficures you're here for?"

 

Celestia: "That sounds wonderful, Lotus."

 

>Fluttershy, Nocta, and Celestia all sat down for their hooficures

 

>Lotus and Aloe get some more members of the spa staff to help them out

 

>Aloe then commences the hooficure and Nocta begins to squirm around and giggle

 

Nocta: "This tickles a lot! Haha, I never knew that my hooves were ticklish!"

 

>Time passes as the three of them get their hooves done

 

>The hooficure is done and their hooves have never looked better

 

>Their hooves shined and glistened as if they were stars twinkling in the night sky

 

Nocta: "My hooves look so pretty! Thank you so much! Oh my gosh, I didn't even think they could ever looks so radiant and gorgeous!"

 

Aloe: "Well we really wanted to give you the best hooficure we could! It was your very first, and we wanted to make sure that everything was perfect and exactly to your liking."

 

Nocta: "I truly can't thank you enough for this. If there is any way at all that I can repay you, please let me know."

 

Lotus: "Don't worry Princess, everything is fine. We did this for you because we wanted to. There is no reason or need to repay us at all. Your presence here definitely lifted the spirits of my sister and I and we can't thank you enough either."

 

Aloe: "We were starting to get kinda depressed over time because people slowly stopped coming to the spa. Things were starting to get pretty, well, pretty dead around here. The vibe of the place was dying out and we weren't as happy as we were. But we always smile anyways, because service with a smile is one of our strongest beliefs. You really helped cheer us up Princess Nocta. You should also thank Celestia for taking you here. We owe our thanks to the both of you. Every single visit from now on is on the house, we promise that."

 

Nocta: "Awww, that's so nice of you two. Come here, I want to hug you both to show my appreciation."

 

>Nocta then gives a warm and friendly hug to Aloe and Lotus, cheering them both up even more as the smiles on their faces radiated with glee

 

Celestia: "Well its time to be going back home now, we're sorry that we have to leave so soon."

 

Aloe: "Oh it's quite alright Princess Celestia, it was really nice seeing you after so long to."

 

>Nocta and Celestia say their goodbyes and leave the spa

 

>Nocta has a bit of a glum look on her face as they leave

 

Celestia: "Why the glum face Nocta?"

 

Nocta: "Its just that I know I probably won't be welcome in the spa anymore. I'll be colt again soon, and I know I won't be able to help brighten up Lotus and Aloe's days."

 

Celestia: "Oh... right...."

 

>Celestia then thinks to herself

 

" Yes! One step closer to my dreams being realized!"

 

>Celestia then zones out and begins to day dream about her and Noctis in bed kissing and snuggling

 

>She just stands there and Nocta finally notices after a few minutes

 

Nocta: "Umm, Celestia, are you alright?"

 

>Celestia is still zoned out and does not notice Nocta trying to bring her back

 

>Nocta then resorts to kissing her on the lips to snap her out of it

 

>Celestia snaps out of it and sees Nocta kissing her and begins to blush a bright blood red

 

>Nocta herself then blushes and giggles a little

 

Nocta: "I knew that would snap you out of it hehe." She says with a grin

 

Celestia: "Oh Nocta, you're so sweet and funny. I need to learn to stop embarrasing myself like this." She says with a smile and giggles afterwards

 

Nocta: "Well let's go back to the castle now, I'm pretty sure Artemis misses us, and I know I miss him to."

 

Celestia: "Where else would we be headed to? I know you miss him, and I miss him to. I'm just really really happy that you and I finally just got to spend some quality time together bonding. I felt like our relationship with each other was being strained by the fact that Artemis was always around. It's not that I don't love him and love having him here, but I wanted it to be just you and me for once, and I finally got that. You're very special to me Nocta, you will always be in my heart."

 

Nocta: "Awww, Celestia, that was so sweet, I'm starting to cry a little."

 

>Nocta then goes to hug Celestia as she cries her tears of sweetness

 

>Before letting go of her, Nocta gives Celestia another kiss on the cheek

 

>Typically, Celestia blushes and smiles at Nocta

 

Celestia: "You know you're really cute yourself Nocta, and you're so kind and nice and just fun. I really can't stress how much I really enjoyed my time with you."

 

Nocta: "Aww Celestia, I really enjoyed my time with you to and I couldn't think of any better way to have spent tonight than be with you and do all the things we did at the spa. It was a really relaxing experience but of course I was excited from beginning to end about it. I've had a wonderful time and I hope that in the future, we can spend more time like this."

 

Celestia: "I hope so to Nocta. I hope so to."

 

>The two then continue to walk the empty moonlit streets of canterlot on the way back to the Castle

 

>Not much discussion is had, just a few random thoughts spoken every so often

 

>After their peaceful travel through the elegant town, the two arrive at last to the Castle where they find Kibitz and Artemis having a fiery verbal dispute

 

Kibitz: "You know, you have completely tarnished the schedule! Although you completed the tasks at hand, you did such a lack luster job with them a mere primate could have done a better job than you! You fail at being a prince! You know nothing of how to rule a kingdom! I don't know why you're even allowed to rule after you were banished to the moon over a thousand years ago for trying to murder your own flesh and blood sister to rule the land all by yourself! You should not have been permitted to take your old seat as Prince back after all the destruction and disharmony you caused! You are a despicable, worthless, and worst of all, purely evil being!"

 

Artemis: "YOU ARE A MERE WHELP IN COMPARISON TO ME! I HAVE MAGICAL CAPABILITIES BEYOND YOUR COMPREHENSION AND IF I WISHED I COULD BE THE ONLY RULER IN ALL OF EQUESTRIA RIGHT NOW! YOU TREAT ME AS IF I AM SOME EVIL, DARK, AND MALEVOLENT BEING AND I'M SICK OF IT!"

 

Kibitz: "That's because you ARE an evil, dark, and malovelent being. You may have fooled everyone else in the kingdom, but you will never fool me."

 

Artemis: "Kibitz, it has been over a thousand years since I have committed those sins, do you not think that I have changed?"

 

Kibitz: "Change isn't possible, Artemis. People never truly change."

 

>Celestia and Nocta are both shocked to see how terribly Kibitz truly treats Artemis

 

>Nocta almost interjects, but Celesita stops her, for this is a fight that can not be simply halted by means of an intervention at all; in fact this kind of fight needs to die on its own so they both can let all their frustrations out

 

Artemis: "You are blinded by your own ignorance, you fool. If you would actually respect me and not try to work me to death following some hair brained schedule designed to make me lose my patience and go berserk on you, then maybe you would see my nicer side as everyone else does. You must give me a fair chance, Kibitz. I have done nothing to purposefully make your life miserable, why must you make mine?"

 

Kibitz: "Think of me as karma, Artemis. This is what you get for all the sins you have committed in your life. I am the bringer of proper justice. You have no right to be ruling, admit it."

 

>Celestia finally gets enraged by Kibitz' horrible and down right nasty behavior

 

>But before she could act, Artemis had finally snapped and had begun to assault Kibitz physically

 

>Artemis takes Kibitz' monocle and throws it out the window, shoves his pocket hanky in his mouth and burns the schedule of his in front of him in fiery flames

 

>Celestia and Nocta finally agree to take action

 

Celestia: "KIBITZ! ARTEMIS! STOP THIS AT ONCE! You're both better than this, I am disappointed in both of you that you let your differences escalate to this level. You should both be ashamed of yourselves."

 

Nocta: "Kibitz, even if you don't like Artemis, there is no reason to make his life miserable. You brought this upon yourself. And Artemis, my love, please show a little more self restraint! All Kibitz should be is a pest to you. You shouldn't let him aggravate you to such a level!"

 

>Artemis and Kibitz stop fighting each other, even though it was clear that Artemis would be victorious, after hearing what Celestia and Nocta had to say

 

Celestia: "Kibitz, how could you do this to Artemis? He deserves the throne because he knows exactly how to rule! He may have different philosophies than me but he and I are rule this land together, as brother and sister. This kingdom would fall apart without one of us. We were always a team, a duo, and it was the biggest mistake of my life sending my own brother to the moon for 1000 years so hastily. I didn't think of the consequences of my actions, but I sure learned of them later, the hard way. Many things were never the same. Why everyone in Equestria began to miss Artemis the day after his disappearance. Many of his friends passed away while he was gone, and you will never understand that kind of pain Kibitz. You have really disappointed me. You are getting demoted from your position. If you despise my brother this much, than you are also an enemy of mine."

 

Nocta: "Kibitz, has Artemis ever done anything to you personally to cause you harm, other than right now of course. Has he ever done anything to make your life miserable like you do to him? Why do you insist on hurting someone who is innocent? Artemis has changed over the years. He was Nightmare Moon for only so long, and that was over a thousand years ago. Why, I repeat why, do you hate him so much?"

 

>Kibitz does nothing but cower in fear like a pathetic jerk, whose ego was crushed

 

Celestia: "If you don't want to be banished from Equestria right now, Kibitz, then I highly suggest you give us an answer!"

 

>Kibitz began to whimper a response out

 

Kibitz: "I... I hate Artemis... no, I fear him. I fear his power... his strength... his evil... his darkness. I make his life miserable... not because I hate him... but because I envy his crown... I also fear what he could to do me and the rest of Equestria, should he get some kind of opportunity. I thought if I could crush his life, then he would descend into depression and apathy... and never hurt anyone again... please... forgive me..."

 

Nocta: "You know Kibitz, I want to hate you right now, but I can't. You misunderstood Artemis, and you wanted him to get out of his position of power because you feared what he could do. I understand that. You feared him more than you ever could hate him. And you knew that if he was out of the way, then you would surely be allowed to gain more power. You have my forgiveness, Kibitz. Celestia, if it's alright with you, I want Kibitz to keep his position. I have faith in him."

 

Kibitz: "Oh thank you Princess, thank you! I could not be more grateful, and more remorseful. I am filled with regret for what I have done to Artemis, and one thing I ask for is his forgiveness."

 

Artemis: "You have treated me in the worst ways possible, Kibitz. Do you really expect me to forgive you in the blink of an eye? As if nothing had ever happened? As if you didn't try to botch negotiations with other nations? As if you did not try in every way you could to make me look bad? Perhaps you can beg and plea for my forgiveness in the future, when I feel you have redeemed yourself. But I can not forgive you right now, and I refuse to do so. You have made me miserable on numerous counts, and things like that are not easily forgiven, you're lucky my wife is much more forgiving than I."

 

Kibitz: "I... I understand... Prince Artemis."

 

Celestia: "Now I suggest that you two spend some time apart. Kibitz, I forbid you to come into contact with my brother for one week. I want this whole thing to simmer down."

 

Kibitz: "Yes Celestia. I will be leaving right away."

 

Nocta: "Farewell Kibitz."

 

>Kibitz exits the room, hanging his head low in shame

 

Celestia: "Well this has definitely been an eventful night. Nocta and I had an amazing time at the spa, and Artemis had a fight with Kibitz that almost got seriously out of hand. But the night must now rest, because it's time for the day to come again."

 

Artemis: "Eventful is an understatement. I can't believe that the night went by so quickly."

Nocta: "Neither can I, but I have to admit, I had a really fun time at the spa with Celestia, and I'm really glad things happened how they did. I am sorry that you had to deal with Kibitz though."

 

Artemis: "Well it's in the past now, and you're both back, so I'm not complaining."

 

Celestia: "Well then let's go make it day and the two of you can rest easy."

 

Artemis: "Thank you sister, it means a lot to me that you'll let us rest. Please let me know though if you and Twilight find anything out about our mother."

 

Celestia: "I promise I will, brother."

 

>The three of them do their usual routine of lowering the moon and raising the sun

 

>Nocta and Artemis, both very tired from being up for over a day head towards their room to rest

 

Celestia: "Sleep well you two!"

 

Nocta: "I'm sure we will Celestia, thank you."

 

>Nocta and Artemis arrive in their room for the first time since their gender was changed

 

Nocta: "Oh how I've waited to just come here and relax on our bed."

 

Artemis: "It's been quite a long day, starting off with Kibitz annoying us, and then Discord had to come along and do this to us. Why it was hard for me to even try to kiss you, no offense, my love, but it was just weird at the moment."

 

Nocta: "Well, maybe we can try again?"

 

Artemis: "Why do it now when we can just wait til Discord gets bored?"

 

Nocta: "That's just it Luna, who knows when that could be? We're gonna have to get used to each other's new bodies, and I think we might as well start now."

 

>Nocta begins to blush

 

Artemis: "That isn't the only thing you want to do is it Noctis?"

 

>Nocta's blushing intensifies and she could not get any brighter or any more red

 

Nocta: "Well... I was thinking that we can make love tonight... if we're going to stay like this, we can't let anything get in the way of our relationship and love, Luna..."

 

>Artemis then begins to blush as well

 

Artemis: "Are you sure? I mean... I don't exactly know how to..."

 

Nocta: "Well neither do I, but I want to express my love to you Luna. I want to prove to you that no matter what form you're in, you're always my very special Luna. You'll always be the one I fell in love with, the one who stole my heart."

 

Artemis: "Oh Noctis, you still haven't lost your charm. You always know what to say. I'd gladly make love to you tonight, I want to show you I love you just the same."

 

>Nocta and Artemis then go onto their bed and start snuggling with each other, feeling every inch of each other's new bodies

>They continue to sweetly make love to each other for what seemed like hours; the tenderness and passion never dying down

 

>It was much like their first time together when they were their true genders; these actions of love had only strengthened their unbreakable bond and given a new spark

Artemis: "Discord, ugh, if I wasn't so tired I would be yelling at you right now. What exactly are you blabbing on about now?"

 

Discord: "You know, I changed you both into your opposite sexes for my own amusement, but the reason I kept it going was because I wanted to see how much love you two would share if you weren't your true gender. But it was mostly just for my entertainment. And oh boy entertain me you did."

 

Nocta: "Um Discord, exactly how long were you watching us for?"

 

Discord: "Oh I've watched every single moment of your lives at my own leisure. You two have quite the entertaining and interesting life. Oh how sweet and romantic you two can be."

 

Artemis: "Discord, I swear if you tell anyone, and I mean anyone of these events, I will see to it that you get the worst and most painful punishment possible!"

 

Discord: "Oh don't worry, your secrets are safe with me and my lips are sealed. I have locked the door and thrown away the key."

 

>After he says this, Discord then literally locks his mouth like a door, throws away the key, and then proceeds to throw away his mouth as well

 

Nocta: "Talk about extreme measures. Thank you so much for respecting our privacy though. It means a lot more to me than you know."

 

Artemis: "It means a lot to me to, Discord. I'm glad that you really did change a little and actually understand friendship a little more."

 

>With a snap, Discord creates a sign reading "I'm happy we can all be happy here. I'm still very grateful for your christmas gift of letting me be free. Freedom is truly a blessing. Now as a favor to you, I'll change everything back to normal."

 

>Discord snaps his fingers yet again and changes Nocta and Artemis back into Noctis and Luna

 

>Their bodies change back into their original and respective forms, Luna gaining back her feminine curves and Noctis gaining back masculinity

 

Noctis: "Thanks Discord, for everything."

 

>Discord nods his head in agreement, gives a thumbs up, and then snaps and leaves

 

>The couple, finally at peace again, immediately embrace each other in joy of having their old bodies back

 

Noctis: "You know Luna, even though I was perfectly happy with our other bodies, I'm really happy things are back to normal. You look really beautiful right now, you know."

 

Luna: "I'm glad to be back to normal to Noctis. And I have to say, you look really handsome right now. I missed your masculine face."

 

>Luna and Noctis cuddle and snuggle, feeling every single inch and curve of their good old bodies again, sweetly and lovingly embracing each other

 

>The two sweetly kiss each other one more time before drifting off to sleep, holding each other in their arms, and start dreaming

 

Luna: "Ah the Canterlot Gardens, how I love to be here."

 

Noctis: "I love to be here to Luna, especially with you. I remember the days when we were a bit more carefree, but my life has been just as enjoyable if not more enjoyable thanks to you. So long as I'm with you Luna, every moment is a wonderful moment."

 

Luna: "Oh how sweet of you Noctis. I see being a female hasn't done much to change your loving words."

 

>The two then continue their embrace from earlier, in their dreams

 

Noctis: "Oh its a shame how we have to wake up soon."

 

Luna: "We can't just sleep all day you know. Besides, look at it this way, we can have so many new experiences in our life, in our dreams we can only do what our minds limit us to do. We can have many new, happy, and loving experiences together."

 

Noctis: "You know Luna, you're right about that."

 

>They kiss one more time and then snuggle in the fields of flowers at the Canterlot Gardens until they need to wake up

>Celestia and Twilight come into Noctis and Luna's room bringing great news

 

Twilight: "Noctis! Luna! Wake up! We have amazing news!"

 

Celestia: "We found a way to bring back Sora and Star Swirl!"

 

>Luna and Noctis wake up, but are still half asleep

 

Luna: "Yes, yes, bad news, Sora Swirl and Star good."

 

Twilight: "Oh wake up you two! Celestia, can you please cast some kind of spell to wake them up?"

 

Celestia: "Haha, sure, I'd love to. Besides, a little friendly pay back is always nice."

 

Noctis: "NO NO NO! I'm awake! I am awake! Yes! Indeed! Me! Awake! Not asleep!"

 

>Noctis then passes out

 

Celestia: "Oh what am I gonna do with them." She jokes

 

Twilight: "Well maybe actually waking them up is a good thing to do."

 

Celestia: "You have a good point there Twilight, I'll wake them up for real this time."

 

Twilight: "No payback Celestia, do you understand me?"

 

Celestia: "Oh come on Twilight, you don't have to treat me like I'm a foal. I know not to get my payback on them, yet."

 

>Twilight gives Celestia the, shut up already and let's do this face

 

>Celestia then complies and casts a spell to wake the two up

 

Luna: "Yes..yes..wha?" she tiredly mumbles

 

Noctis: "I told you...I was...awake... didn't I?"

 

Twilight: "You were as awake as Rainbow Dash on a lazy day. Now both of you get up, it's really important and exciting!"

 

Luna: "Ugh, what could be so important that you had to disturb our slumber?"

 

Celestia: "We found out a way to bring back Sora and Star Swirl!"

 

>Luna's and Noctis' eyes open and widen real big in their sheer excitement

 

Noctis: "Well I have to say that was rather quick, considering there were tons and tons of books you had to go through."

 

Celestia: "Oh you should have seen it, I didn't believe it myself! Twilight was reading two books at a time and finishing them both within seconds!"

 

Luna: "I don't even understand! How is that possible?!"

 

Twilight: "Just comes naturally to me I guess."

 

Noctis: "I'm not going to argue with this, I'm just going to accept it. So what do we need to do?"

 

Twilight: "In a way, it's pretty simple. All we need to do is open up a rift into the purgatory in which they currently reside in, and simply summon them using some powerful spells."

 

Luna: "And you're sure this will work?"

 

Twilight: "I wouldn't be this excited if I wasn't!"

 

Luna: "Huzzah! Finally! We can see our mother again Celestia!"

 

Celestia: "Oh I know I know! Isn't it wonderful?!"

 

Luna: "It is absolutely fantastic!"

 

>Luna and Celestia prance around in glee, as if they were little foals again

 

Noctis: "Looks like a little bit of Nocta rubbed off on you, eh Luna?"

 

>Luna blushes as she realizes how silly she must look, prancing around, acting like a filly

 

>Luna laughs nervously

 

Luna: "Um yes, I'm sorry for my behavior, I'm just excited to see my mother again, it's a sense of wonder like no other! I feel like a child again. I can't exactly explain why, but I do."

 

Celestia: "I feel exactly the same way Luna, there's nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about. This is the first time we get to speak to our mother in millenia! I mean sure we talked to her in the past but we weren't really able to spend time with her. And even though she hasn't been here to watch us grow, we can see for ourselves how proud she is of us."

 

Luna: "That is true, and I'm also really excited to see Star Swirl again! After our rather sad departure in the past, I'm sure he'll be really happy to see us."

 

Celestia: "And I know Twilight is just dying to know what else is in Star Swirl's brain, isn't that right?"

 

Twilight: "Are you kidding me? If I had the chance I would talk to him for days on end learning everything he knew! I want to know everything about him! I would ask him questions every chance I get!"

 

Noctis: "That's a bit obsessive, don't you think Twilight?"

 

Twilight: "Says the guy who never lets Luna out of his sight."

 

>Everyone laughs at Twilight's joke, and even Noctis has a chuckle

 

Noctis: "Well done Twilight; point taken."

 

>Nightmare Moon then manifests herself

 

Nightmare Moon: "I heard there was a way to bring Sora and Star Swirl back, and I got excited, so I came out as soon as I could! If we can get them back, this would be one of the greatest accomplishments of history! As much as I used to despise Sora for doing away with my father, it ended up being for the better in the end."

 

Twilight: "Oh right, you were once Princess Nocturna, I tend to forget since you're also just another form of Luna."

 

Luna: "It's quite the complicated system, but it doesn't really bother us, me, forget it. Let's not bring up this complicated discussion again."

 

Nightmare Moon:" Agreed. So Twilight, when are we going to do this?"

 

Twilight: "Well we're gonna have to do this during the peak of the moon. That's when the spell will be its strongest, giving us the best chance of bringing them back."

 

Celestia: "Yes, we'll have to do it tonight, and since tonight is the full moon, the spell will be doubled in strength because of it to."

 

Luna: "Ah, so what do we do until then?"

 

Twilight: "Uh... well... I really don't know. I didn't really think of that."

 

Noctis: "Well there isn't anything important that we need for the spell that we don't already have, is there?"

 

Twilight: "Not that I know of."

 

Luna: "I have an idea, why not pay another visit to the spa?"

 

Noctis: "After how I acted last time? I think Aloe and Lotus need a little break, I mean it hasn't even been a full day yet, Luna."

 

Luna: "Oh but how I always wished to go to the spa. I rarely ever got to go."

 

Celestia: "Well if Nocta rubbed off on you, then I think you'll be just as excited as she was. Isn't that right Noctis?"

 

Noctis: "Haha, I have to admit, being a mare was pretty fun while it lasted, especially with you Celestia. Wait, how do you even remember when I was Nocta?"

 

Celestia: "I guess Discord wanted it to be that way. I still can't believe he pulled off something so clever."

 

Noctis: "Well I did tell him to do something original for once... I guess it was all my own fault, but it was a pretty good time nonetheless."

 

Nightmare Moon: "You know, it's always fun watching your conversations. You tend to forget about each other and almost always forget me. It's also interesting to see how quickly you can go off in a whole different topic. Seriously, your conversational topics shift so quickly, it can be hard to follow, and most of the time, the new topic is completely unrelated to the previous. Seriously, I have a feeling like we're all just characters of some story."

 

Twilight: "Well then... I really don't know how to respond to that..."

 

Noctis: "Well now I'm doing your job Nightmare Moon. We need to progress somehow. Twilight, where do you think would be the most ideal place to go to cast the spell?"

 

Twilight: "I think the ancient castle of the Royal Pony sisters would be the perfect place. It's in the Everfree Forest, and far enough from Ponyville and Canterlot to not get anyone hurt in case something goes wrong."

 

Luna: "Celestia and I's old castle? My my, I haven't been there since well, I'm sure you all remember when the last time I was there was."

 

Nightmare Moon: "Ah yes, when we were evil and I promised to help you find Noctis if you let me take control and we truly became one. Which you agreed to, and of course, being the crafty and evil witch I was, I abused it and decided to take my revenge on you all. I almost won to, if it wasn't for Noctis and that box of yours. Why I even remember I tried to get Discord to help, but apparently, it wasn't in his best interest. Anyways, that castle, many memories there of us trying to kill Celestia. Now of course, that would never happen again, but ah how I miss being so evil and free."

 

Noctis: "Right, I remember that entire night. I was pulled back into Earth, and I realized that Luna wasn't on Earth with me. It was the night of not only the Grand Galloping Gala, but Luna and I's wedding. Things went horrible for the both of us. I let my darkness get out of control and so did you Luna. I'm just glad everything ended the way it did."

 

Celestia: "I remember when I saw Nightmare Moon again for the first time, I was heart broken to see Luna had given in to the darkness again. Now of course I don't hold any grudges because Nightmare Moon has definitely saved us more times than she had to."

 

Nightmare Moon: "Just doing what I do best. Maybe one day I will be the ruler of this land, but I wouldn't harm my... friends..."

 

Twilight: "Well I think we've wasted enough time, let's just go there now and figure out something to pass the time later."

 

Luna: "Yes let's go, we might as well leave now, and we can find other things to do at the Castle. Perhaps I could play the old organ again."

 

Twilight: "You used to play that old thing? I thought you had some kind of professional player who would play it during Royal events."

 

Luna: "You thought wrong.I decided to learn how to play it and it was one of my favorite things to do as I was growing up. Besides, having it connected to all those traps was always a blast, especially when we had friendly visitors. I would toy around with them so often, it was so grand."

 

Noctis: "So what are we waiting for? Let's fly over there now."

 

Luna: "Oh we can fly there, but I know none of you can beat me there! I'm the fastest flier out of all of you!"

 

Noctis: "Is that a challenge I hear?"

 

Luna: "Perhaps."

 

Noctis: "Oh you're on then! If it's a race you want, it's a race you'll get!"

 

Celestia: "I'm in on this race to!"

 

Twilight: "I might not be a very experienced flier, but I know I can still put up a good fight!"

 

Nightmare Moon: "Then the 4 of you go ahead and race, I'll just go back into Luna for now. I'm obviously not needed and don't belong in this situation." She sighs and whispers to herself "I'll never find a place where I belong anymore. I am a misfit in every meaning of the word..."

 

>Nightmare Moon then goes back into Luna and the four of them expand their wings and take off from the windows in the throne room

 

>They race with intense speed, but they still remember not to be over competitive

 

>Rainbow Dash then notices them flying by and joins in on the race with a Sonic Rainboom

 

RD: "Hey Luna, mind if I join in on this race?"

 

Luna: "If you think you can beat me, then go ahead, I'd like to see you try."

 

RD: "I think you've forgotten that I'm one of the fastest fliers in all of Equestria! No one can beat me!"

 

Luna: "Then prove it!"

 

>Rainbow Dash nods and then blasts off ahead of Luna, and the others soon step their game up in order to compete better.

 

>Luna then manages to somehow catch up to Rainbow Dash and so does Celestia

 

>They intensely race, Twilight beginning to lag behind

 

>Rainbow Dash pulls off a little dirty move and nudges Luna and Celestia into the nearby trees

 

>Without looking herself, Dash ends up crashing into one of the trees herself

 

Luna: "Nice job, Rainbow Crash!" Said Luna as she magically zoomed off

 

>Celestia repeated the same insult as she caught up to Luna, with Twilight nowhere in sight

 

Rainbow Dash: "If only I could find a good insult right now!" She screams and then proceeds to speed up exponentially

 

>Rainbow Dash catches up to Celestia and Luna

 

Rainbow Dash: "Hey wait a minute, where exactly are we racing to?"

 

Luna: "Celestia and I's old castle! And you're acting as if you could beat me there!"

 

Rainbow Dash: "You think I can't beat you there? By the time you're there, I would have done 20 laps around the castle!"

 

Luna: "Pretty bold words for someone who can't fly without crashing."

 

>This enrages Rainbow Dash as she zooms off to the Castle and stops a few meters in front of the entrance, not officially reaching the end

 

>She takes a cloud from the sky and arrogantly begins to take a nap on it

 

>Noctis finally comes out of nowhere and passes both Celestia and Luna, with Twilight's location not even being known anymore

 

>Within the minute, the 3 of them finally get to the Castle, with Rainbow Dash waiting there on her cloud

 

Rainbow Dash: "I told you I'd win!"

 

>Then Twilight comes out of the castle

 

Twilight: "Rainbow Dash, Noctis, Luna, Celestia, where have you been?! I've been waiting here for at least 3 minutes now!"

 

>Everyone has a face of disbelief as how the worst flier out of them all managed to beat everyone

 

Rainbow Dash: "When did you get here?! What kind of egghead science or magic did you use?!"

 

Twilight: "It's called the science of flight Rainbow, also, I know short cuts. I simply beat you all with my knowledge of flight! Now who won?!"

 

Rainbow Dash: "How could an egghead like you beat me?! I remember when I was excited that you got wings. I never thought you would actually beat me!"

 

Twilight: "Well you're just gonna have to deal with it Dash. This is the second time I've beaten you in a race!"

 

Rainbow Dash: "Don't even remind me of the falling of the leaves."

 

Twilight: "Whats that? I'm sorry I don't speak Second or last place."

 

Celestia: "Oh come on Twilight, enough is enough."

 

Luna: "Oh come on Sister, what could go wrong? Rainbow Dash always gloats anyways, her ego could use a hit like this anyways."

 

Rainbow Dash: "You know what Twilight, you got the best of me. You beat me fair and square, and I was too egotistical to think you could even come close to beating me. Nice job Twilight, but don't think you'll win the next one."

 

Twilight: "Don't be too cocky Rainbow, you'll just get yourself set up to fall again."

 

Rainbow Dash: "Whatever, leave your egghead stuff to yourself. I know not to be too cocky next time, and I won't be."

 

Twilight: "I'm glad to hear it Rainbow Dash."

 

Rainbow Dash: "So what were you guys doing here anyways? Why come to the old Castle?"

 

Celestia: "Well we're going to cast a spell that should bring back not only Luna and I's mother, but Star Swirl the bearded as well!"

 

Rainbow Dash: "Whoa, isn't it like wrong to bring the dead ponies back to life?"

 

Luna: "They never died Rainbow, they simply disappeared. They've been gone for so long we just labeled them as dead."

 

Celestia: "We never really knew what happened to our mother until a few days ago, so we know she's still around."

 

Rainbow Dash: "So this means Queen Sora will come back?"

 

Twilight: "That's right Rainbow!"

 

Rainbow Dash: "Awesome! I can't believe I'm actually going to meet the original ruler of Equestria! I'm gonna meet an actual Queen!"

 

Twilight: "Well we did meet Queen Chrysalis."

 

Rainbow Dash: "That doesn't count, she was an evil Queen. And she was sooooo not cool."

 

Luna: "So what to do now? We've arrived and had a race, and killed about an hour so far."

 

Noctis: "I'd love to hear you play the organ my love. I never heard you play it before and I'm sure you're very skilled."

 

Celestia: "Oh yes Sister, please! Play the organ again!" Celestia then leaned in and whispered to Luna "And you can set off some of the fun traps we laid and we can toy with the rest for a while. I think it would be really fun, don't you think so?"

 

Rainbow Dash: "Ohhhhh no! Not again! There is no way I'm dealing with all the traps in this castle again!"

 

Twilight: "Oh come on Rainbow, I thought you weren't afraid of anything."

 

Rainbow Dash:"Huh? Oh! Oh... I mean... um... those traps were so lame, they didn't scare me at all!"

 

Luna: "Care to prove it Rainbow Dash?"

 

Rainbow Dash:" Ehhh, sure, I mean if you really think it's worthy of my time."

 

Twilight: "Oh Rainbow, you're so egotistical. Come on, just admit you're still scared of the traps."

 

Rainbow Dash: "I was more afraid of that Pony of shadows thing Applejack was talking about than the traps themselves to be honest. Stupid Applejack, always messing with my head."

 

Noctis: "So you got scared by an old scary story? Come on Rainbow Dash, I know you're braver than that."

 

>NMM then came out to move things along as usual

 

Nightmare Moon: "Time to move this story along guys, come on, people surely don't want to read about some pointless bantering about who is egotistical and brave or not."

 

>Everyone looks at Nightmare Moon with a confused look on their faces

 

Noctis: "Seriously Nightmare Moon, you're starting to freak me out with that stuff."

 

Rainbow Dash: "Geez, you can be worse than Pinkie with this stuff! Who let you become the new Pinkie?"

 

Nightmare Moon: "The new Pinkie Pie? Hardly so. So come on, let's just enter the castle and Luna, play the organ, you really play it excellently and elegantly."

 

Noctis: "I'm not gonna argue with this, I'm just gonna do what she says."

 

>Everyone nods in agreement with Noctis and head inside the castle

 

>Luna playfully runs to the organ room to at last play her favorite instrument once more

 

Luna: "Oh how I missed this organ. Celestia, remember when I would play this every night?"

 

Celestia: "Oh I remember. Those were much simpler times, I can honestly say that. Oh I miss the days when we lived here together in unity. So many things haven't changed, even after a thousand years. It brings all sorts of memories back."

 

Luna: "Believe me, it brings back all kinds of memories for me to. Most were rather happy and joyful, but there were a couple of rather grim ones."

 

Celestia: "But let's not dwell on those darker times, shall we, sister?"

 

Luna: "We won't. Now this song, this will bring back some memories."

 

>Luna wipes the dusty old organ which she hadn't touched let alone played in over a thousand years

 

>She blows the dust off the keys and begins to play

Rainbow Dash: "I gotta admit, although this isn't my kinda music, it definitely is some pretty cool music. Good job Luna, you're really a pro at this!"

 

>Luna then hits a certain key that makes the wall Rainbow Dash is relaxing on turn around 180 degrees

 

>Rainbow Dash is on the other side of the wall, in a room where there is nothing but ancient Pony battle armor

 

>She screams in terror

 

>The rest of them laugh at the "mighty" Rainbow Dash being scared of some empty suits of armor

 

>Luna then hits the key to make the wall spin again

 

Luna: "So, how did you like that?"

 

Rainbow Dash: "You know, you guys stink. Making me scared like that."

 

Celestia: "Haha, oh come on, it's all in good fun Rainbow Dash."

 

Rainbow Dash: "I guess it is... but you still scared me like that. So uncool."

 

>They all roll their eyes and laugh together in joy

 

Luna: "Ah I haven't had this much fun in a while. But we have to go make it night time now, don't we sister?"

 

Celestia: "Right you are Luna. We can do it from here just like we used to."

 

Luna: "Just like old times then?"

 

Celestia: "Just like old times."

 

Luna: "You know, this would be the first time in over a thousand years that we make it night time from this castle. I can't believe how much time has passed, I feel like a living relic. So many other's had passed before I could come back. The worst thing about those thousand years is that I never got to say good bye to the few friends I had back then. I always thought of them while during my banishment, when I wasn't fighting Nightmare Moon or thinking about you of course. The one friend I truly miss the most, is Snow Drop. I miss that wonderful mare. Oh if there was anyone I would have wanted to say goodbye to, it was her. She not only understood the winter, she understood my night."

 

Celestia: "Oh I miss her to Luna, it's a shame she had to pass away. That's one of the bad things of being an Alicorn, your aging friends will pass on long before you do."

 

>Suddenly, snow began to fall from the sky, gently and elegantly

 

Luna: "It's as if her spirit is listening in on our conversation at this very moment. Oh how time likes to fool with me."

 

Celestia: "Come on Luna, if this is the work of Snowdrop's spirit, then she's definitely doing this to make you smile, not glum."

 

Luna: "You have a point, Celestia. In her memory, I'll make the stars exactly as they were the night of her first snow fall. And from now on, I'll immortalize her in a constellation. You wouldn't mind Noctis, would you?"

 

Noctis: "Well I wish I knew who she was, but I don't mind at all my love. If she was someone special to you, then go ahead and do it."

 

Twilight: "She was known as the Pegasus of the Winter. She basically was responsible for the winter season being as beautiful and gentle as it is. A long long time ago, they used to be harsh and bitterly cold. That was until Snowdrop had came along and touched Luna's and Celestia's hearts. She made every single snow flake unique, and for over a thousand years, they have been using one of her snowflakes as part of the first snow storm of the season. They finally ran out last year, before you came along."

 

Noctis: "Wow... Luna... I'm so sorry you lost such an amazing friend like that."

 

Luna: "She passed away about 900 years ago Noctis, she's in the past. She was one of my best friends, there's no denying that, but we have to move on from the past eventually. I already said goodbye to her very first snowflake. As long as I have you Noctis, and all the rest of you, I'll be fine. Now Celestia, if you'd please lower the sun. Noctis, I'd like to do this without you. For the sake of reliving a cherished memory with my sister. Surely, you understand"

 

Celestia: "Of course sister, right away."

 

>Celestia lowers the sun behind the clouds of the snow storm

 

>Luna then raises her moon, without Noctis, and arranges the stars to be exactly those of the night of Snowdrop's first snow storm ever

 

>The two sisters have done the transition from day to night together for the first time in over a thousand years in their old castle

 

Luna: "The snow is magnificent, isn't it?"

 

Celestia: "Oh it definitely is. It reminds me of the very first one we had with her. Oh how long ago that was."

 

Luna: "Indeed, that was so long ago... I would love to relive that moment at any time though. What I would give to see my old friend one last time, and at least have a chance to say goodbye. But what's in the past is in the past I suppose. I mean I could go back in time and say goodbye, but that just wouldn't be right."

 

Celestia: "I would allow it, just for you Luna. Maybe sometime soon, you can go back yourself."

 

Luna: "I want to be there when she withdraws her last breath. If there's any moment I really want to be there for her, it would be that moment. But we have other things from the past to blast back."

 

Celestia: "You have a point there, we have another few hours to kill."

 

Noctis: "So how do we kill the time?"

 

Rainbow Dash: "We should do something awesome! Maybe throw some kind of party to hype up Queen Sora's return!"

 

Twilight: "Rainbow, we can't have a party without Pinkie Pie, not inviting her would be wrong, and she's too busy working on the Equinox celebration."

 

Rainbow Dash: "You got a point there. So what do we do?"

 

Noctis: "That's what I'm asking."

 

Luna: "Perhaps I can play the organ some more?"

 

Celestia: "I don't see why not."

 

Noctis: "Go ahead Luna, that should keep things going for a while."

 

>Luna then goes to play some more of the organ and exceptionally plays amazing musical pieces

 

>The rest of the time is spent wandering around the old castle, Luna and Celestia noting how the place has decayed over the years, but also noting how things weren't really that different after all

 

>Finally, after hours of fun, organ playing, and reminiscing on the past, the moon has finally reached its peak, and the time had come to bring them back

 

Celestia: "Well it looks like it's finally reached that time of the night, hasn't it Luna."

 

Luna: "It seems it has."

 

Celestia: "Are you excited?"

 

Luna: "Are you kidding me?! The anticipation is killing me! As much as I have been a bit down about the whole Snowdrop thing, the excitement to not only see Star Swirl again but to see our own flesh and blood mother again, has only been building up as time passed by!"

 

Celestia: "I've been holding in all my excitement all day! I really can't wait to see Sora again!"

 

Twilight: "And I can't wait to see Star Swirl again! I'll finally have all the time I need to pick at his brain and know as much as I can about him!"

 

Noctis: "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go ahead and cast the spell while we still have the chance!"

 

Twilight: "Agreed."

 

>They finally get everything together and using all their might, they cast their spell to open up the dimensional rift to the purgatory in which Sora and Star Swirl reside in

 

Twilight: "There's just one more thing we need to do. Celestia, Luna, you have to go in the portal and summon them from there, there's no way we'll have enough magic to keep the rift open and summon them, so we'll have to divide our strength. In-dimension summoning isn't as taxing as cross-dimension summoning, so you both just need to step through there, and just cast the summon spell and then bring them out. Noctis and I are more than capable of sustaining the rift."

 

Luna: "I'll do anything for Star Swirl and Sora!"

 

Celestia: "I will to! Let us go together and fulfill what we have long dreamed about!"

 

>Luna nods in agreement and Celestia and Luna both enter the dimensional rift to the purgatory

 

>They then put their horns together and in a moment of sisterly love, they cast the powerful summoning spell needed to bring forth Star Swirl and Sora
