The site got too popular.  The all-chan was originally a retard bin of innovation, OC, file sharing, CP, raids and lolicon.
 
Now it's crippled and infested with status quo normalfags and they even added boards that have nothing to do with anime, cartoons or any sort of nerd hobbies. The majority userbase wound up being exactly the socially conscious dudebros that used to be repulsed (or forced to keep their visits a secret because of the shit posted).
 
Even /b/ became nothing more than a combo platter of /soc/ and /s/ after RULES came into effect.
 
We social media now, with all the anti-spam, anti-flood, anti-bully, anti-newbait, anti-shitpost, ani-piracy, anti-conformist measures the staff need to insulate themselves from the microscope of public opinion.
 
They changed the site as they needed to, and now it sucks. But that doesn't change the fact that once you post, you're here forever. Now under new management, though. With the userbase split into this chan and infinity chan. And every board hating each other.
 
Long live the olden days where we were all anons and our sekrit degeneracy club flew under the radar. But I honestly wouldn't have shed a single tear if moot had just put the site out of its misery when he left.
 
To top it all off, I can't even post this because it thinks my post is spam.
