Well here's the way I see it:
The mods are trying to totally cure shitposting. They created this board so that the ponies would leave /b/. Just like they created /soc/ so that the social threads would leave /b/, and so on.The bronies continued to post in /b/. Then the mods removed names, now it's totally anonymous.  They're making it quite obvious that their intentions through all of this are to cure shitposting, and the fact that this board is even here combined with the fact that the mods are now 404ing every single pony thread within seconds of its creation, pretty much points to bronies being the main cause of all of this.
