Title: >The Duke of Ponyville and Cloudsdale, a unicorn, worships a war god named Bellu Author: Anonymous Pastebin link: http://pastebin.com/YZmtsbzx First Edit: Thursday 26th of June 2014 12:34:47 AM CDT Last Edit: Thursday 26th of June 2014 12:34:47 AM CDT >The Duke of Ponyville and Cloudsdale, a unicorn, worships a war god named Bellum (worshiped only by him and his most elite regiments), who gives him powers to rival the monarchs (as he is also the high priest of his faith) and martial prowess (both personal and in the field of generalship) in exchange for the sacrifice of seven virgin mares/fillies every new moon >Celestia only tolerates him and his religion because he is the best general Equestria has by far and keeps the griffons at bay >One day, he is called to Ponyville by Celestia to attend a yearly festival headed by Pinkie Pie >He despises the festival, but goes anyway as part of his duty to the monarch >He watches Pinkie Pie put on a performance and develops an obsessive lust for her >As Bellum demands that his subjects cannot lie down with heathens, and the Duke is a deeply religious stallion, he kidnaps Pinkie Pie and places her under custody so that he can forcibly convert her to his religion, or offer her as a sacrifice to Bellum if she does not convert >Pinkie Pie is tortured and starved for two days, but she refuses to give up her faith in Celestia >She is then saved by the mane six and placed into a hideout in a secret underground tunnel >In a fit of rage, the Duke starts burning Ponyville to the ground and slaughtering ponies who he suspects of hiding Pinkie Pie in a desperate search for her >Celestia mobilizes the armies of Equestria and does battle with the Duke in an attempt to save Ponyville >As the Duke is a highly skilled general with some of Equestria's finest soldiers, he manages to hold Celestia back for a long time and cause her many casualties >The Duke makes a mistake, and is personally surrounded by Celestia's soldiers, but he destroys them with the powers that Bellum blessed him with for years of unwavering service and faith >Celestia confronts the Duke personally, and they duel, resulting in a stalemate >As Celestia and the Duke are locked in battle, Twilight comes in from an unexpected place and kills him >The story ends with Celestia consoling Pinkie Pie, telling her that she is sorry for letting the Duke have such power. >Pinkie Pie simply weeps at the knowledge that even in Equestria, there are evil ponies who have power and authority
