She'd almost screamed when Spike had said "good morning" to her while she was eating her breakfast, and she'd barely been able to squeeze anything down. Even now, as she slipped into Rarity's store for the fateful hour, her breathing was shallow and quick, her eyes were darting around, her muscles were tense and she was only a hair's breadth from bolting.   "Darling?" Rarity had slipped up behind her without Twilight noticing, and was now blocking the way out. The purple unicorn briefly considered making an escape through one of the windows but... no, she had to do this, or she'd never be able to live with herself, she had to do this not just for her own sake, but for Rarity's.   Rarity gave her a pleasant smile that seemed engineered to put Twilight at ease, and it did just that. Twilight wondered if Rarity knew what was going to happen today, if she knew how she felt... but her train of thought was interrupted by Rarity ushering her into a back room after flipping the sign on the front door to "Closed!"   Gently, Rarity laid Twilight down on the couch and they began. It was Twilight's first time, but clearly not Rarity's. She knew exactly what to do, what to say, how gentle to be, and the release at the end was what Twilight had been craving for so long. She hadn't even known she was missing it, but now she was whole, and it was all thanks to Rarity... yet, at the back of her mind, she couldn't help but wonder if this would change their relationship. Could they still be friends after all this?   "Thanks, Rarity," Twilight still felt slack, the tenseness, the pressure she'd been used to for so long, had gone out of her muscles, and it felt wonderful, like floating, "I don't know if I can ever repay you for this..."   "Oh, Twilight! Don't worry about it," Rarity gave Twilight a warm hug, "It's what friends are for! Besides, you needed that. You're always so tense about everything."   Twilight nodded, "You wouldn't believe how I needed it... I never knew you were a licensed psychotherapist, being able to finally talk about all my worries... it felt so good. I don't think anyone else could possibly have understood it."   "Well don't you worry, any time you need me, I'll be here. You can beat this." And Rarity meant it. She might be Twilight's therapist now, but she was still her friend, and she believed that Twilight could learn to live with her OCD.
