Rainbow Dash drowns
Rainbow Dash had been very tense all day, and she didn't understand why.
She thought some time at the pool should calm her down, it was past pool times though, so she had to sneak in.
After she had snuck in, she could already feel the tension leaving her body while in the water.
After a few minutes however, the doorknob started to turn. "(It must be the pool owner!)" She thought. Before she hid underwater, the took a very deep breath, and went to the deep end of the pool.
After the door opened, the owner came into the room. He started searching the room very thoroughly.
"(Leave damnit! Leave!)" Rainbow Dash thought. She could still see movement while under the water.
After about a minute of searching, the owner gave up and decided to leave. But this time, he used the electronic pool cover. The cover of the pool shut, and the owner left.
Rainbow Dash thought "(Wait, if the pool cover is electronic, then...Oh no...Oh NO!!)" She swam to the top of the pool, and started pounding on the cover hoping somepony hear her, but the owner had already left the building.
"(What do I do? What do I do?!)" She thought. She was stuck in a pool with a lungful of air, and she had to hold out as long as she could.
 
"(Okay, just need to calm down. Maybe if I sit down it'll work better.)"
She decided to sit down on the pool floor, it helped her for the most part, aside the occassional bubble or two that would escape her tightly shut lips.
This wasn't going to work, sure she's a great flyer and she's had a lot of expierience with stuff involving this, but how was she supposed to hold her breath for over 6 hours?
She sat at the bottom of the pool, waiting for day to come. As she waited, she tried thinking of ways to survive.
"(Should I just drink all of the water? I just wanna get out of here!)"
A few minutes had passed by, and Dash was still trapped in the pool. Her face had a worried expression. She was so worried that she began to sweat underwater. Her chest convulsed involuntarily as ripples and waves of desperation engulfed her. She was beginning to run out of willpower.
"Mm..." She moaned. At this moment, she was sweating profusely. Her lungs were burning up, screaming for air. She shook her head to keep consciousness. She was starting to become lightheaded. "N-nn.." More air tried to escape her mouth as she desperately wanted to breathe out. "Mmn...nnn..nmmm...."
She had been holding her breath for so long that it felt like her lungs had shriveled up and fallen off. Her cheeks had become red from trying to keep herself from breathing out.
Her chest convulsed again, several times in fact. "Mmph!! Nnmph!!"
Without warning, a Flurry of bubbles escaped Rainbow Dash's mouth. Right as it happened, Rainbow Dash closed her mouth instantly. "(I kept myself from breathing out, now I have to keep myself from breathing in!)"
The tight feeling in her chest, the pinch of needing air – just a quick gasp – tormented the back of her mind. A hoof rose to her neck, her voice breaking forth with an unintentional “Glub!” as a trickle of bubbles escaped from her desperate lips…
 
"(Just a little while longer.)" she thought. "(Just a little – G-glub! Mmmph! – while longer…)"
She couldn't take it anymore, she wanted air. She NEEDED air!
Suddenly, without hesitation, Rainbow Dash swam to the pool cover, losing more air along the way.
Once she got to the cover, she started slamming on it as hard as she could, and attempted to scream. Once she opened her mouth, the water went straight in, and filled her lungs with liquid.
Her lungs burned, nothing but water inside of them.
*Cough!* Cough!* Banging on the cover did  nothing, and in seconds, Dash's vision started to fade to black...
