She had a knack for always saying the right thing at the right time. She earned her cutie mark when a boat she was traveling got shipwrecked on an island. Everyp0ny was panicking, and she wanted to calm them down, but it was impossible to speak to them, especially given her then pint-sized packaging. She then saw a little mountain and proceeded to climb it, and at the tippy-top, she yelled down to everyone to not panic, to stay calm, and to go over the proper procedures of signaling for help, which led them to be saved. Since then, she found that, for one thing, she really likes rock climbing and hiking. Second of all, she found that just by giving some positive support, people can excel and reach their potential. She now is a surveyor, and frequently climbs uncharted mountains, but she gives the occasional pep talk or two when it's needed.
